I drove over two hours to Mayse Automotive. I talked with Marty Newport over the phone to let him know I was coming. He met me in the lobby and sold me the truck I wanted for the price I needed. Marty is a good ol boy that tells it straight and doesn't jerk you around.

Not impressed! I drove all the way from Coffeyville KS to Aurora to look at a particular van on Monday, Labor Day. They did not have the title or lien release. I made them an offer and he said the head manager was not there. He said he would email me or call me when title was there and if manager accepted my offer. He called today saying he was just checking to see if I had found a van???? I called back and said I had waited all week to hear from him on my offer. He said he would have to track down the manager and ask him. He called back to say another salesman had sold that van TODAY!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!
I bought a Dodge Charger from them a while back, it has spent nearly half the time I've owned it in the shop for various problems. The most unreliable piece of garbage I've ever owned. It's been shutting itself off while it's being driven, which is totally unsafe and is scary as it gets. I can't trust my wife and 7 month old son to ride around in it, because they'll end up getting hurt. I got completely screwed on this car and of course Mayse is completely unwilling to help me out, so because of that I have decided to warn others. Be careful! P.S. the warranty doesn't cover anything, SAVE YOUR MONEY, and don't buy the warranty. I suggest not buying from Mayse what so ever. Unless you like stress and unreliability.

David Brown sold me my first truck. He helped me find the right one for me and my budget . He made me feel right at home and made everything work smoothly and worked with me on my hectic work schedule. When I went to pick the truck up he explained how to work everything and helped me set up the Bluetooth and On-Star. He made sure I didn t have any questions when I left the lot. He later on called and checked in on me and also sent a thank you card. Definitely will be going back in years to come.

My wife went in for a broken door. The door was fixed but now it you can hear the air as you drive which didn t happen before we brought it in.

Purchased Truck from Mayse, and although we do a few oil changes ourselves most of the time our vehicle goes to Mayse and no where else. They are courteous, friendly, fast and offer free wifi a computer and coffee, which I don't drink. I don't go anywhere else. I do enjoy the emails from Mayse and utilize coupons for savings when possible. I do not think they are over priced but I am going to save a dollor when I can. Keep up the great work!
The service department Investigated the root of the problem, found it, and fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. Kept me well informed with the repair process, and even worked with the warranty company, and they even loaned me a car while mine was being repaired. Well done. Very pleased.

I recently took my vehicle in for repairs that wasn't covered by my extended warranty. I was mislead when purchasing the warranty it is useless and covers absolutely nothing. I was very frustrated with have to shell out a large amount of money and to top it off they were supposed to due an oil change while it was there. My girlfriend picked it up and the oil was not changed! I would never purchase another vehicle from Mayse and would not recommend it to anyone!!!

This dealership was terrible to work with. The sales staff and sales manager were rude and wouldn't return my calls. When I would call back to talk to someone they would transfer me to the wrong person, who wasn't there, and were very rude. I bought a brand new suv from another dealership and had great service. I will never buy a car of any kind from this dealership. They think they are the best and can do no wrong and treat customers however they want. That's fine, I didn't have to buy from them, nor will I ever. Hope this helps

They make buying a vehicle easy but there service department is horrible. I have the tire and wheel warranty on my truck i have had it there 4 times the tires lose 3-10 lbs of air every other day. They checked with soap for leaks after 4 times they are telling me it has salt and gravel in the beads and want 172.00 to re- bead them for real. this has been going on since i bought it i paid 599.00 for a service i cant use. What is the sence of taking out warranties if they wont honor them. They should have told me the first time i took it in what the problem was instead of pushing me off. I dont enjoy having to air my tires up every 2 days

I am NOT a person who normally buys cars from a large dealership like Mayse. I always have owned older vehicles bought from individuals or small mom and pop car lots for a few thousand dollars or less. That said Kelby Parks and all the staff we delt with were beyond awesome to deal with! They didn't try to up sell us or show us a different vehicle from the one we went in to look at. They had the approach of this is the car you want, lets get you into this car. If they ever have another used car I'm interested in, Kelby will be my FIRST call to get it in the works!

One of my least favorite things in life is buying cars from car dealers. I don't like the process, the wait, feeling pressured, and the finance game. This was the easiest and fastest car purchase I have ever dealt with. I called ahead about a car I was interested in, asked for someone in sales and was connected to Mike Lanphier who was very responsive. When we got there the ladies as the front desk where very polite and made sure Mike knew we where there right away. Mike had the car ready for us to look at. There where some unusual situations that we personally had and Mike took the time to sit and talk with us about options without pressure. He never pushed us to buy the car, in fact he took us to look at other options to compare to and make sure we made the best decision for our situation. Mayse Automotive Group had quality, certified cars priced to sell and people who where very friendly and helpful. Mr Mayse himself was there and took the time to speak with us and thanked us for coming in and said that if we had any issues to contact him directly.

The overall experience was great. Only downside was that it was really busy and took a while for us to get into see the finance team.
I've been to Mayse 3 times now. Twice this year alone. Zach always takes great care of me when I go! It is always so simple and easy. No stress! And they make you feel like family when you're there.
Overall I enjoyed the fast, friendly, and professional service at Mayse. I was able to use one of my free oil change cards for purchasing my vehicle from them, which was nice. I will say I felt the cost of new windshield wipers was a little high ($33), and I'll probably get new ones elsewhere; however, overall I would say it is a good experience.

The whole experience was top notch and one the best things was nobody was pushy or tried to tell us what we wanted. I am writing this because I want to share our recent experience we had at your dealership. We had purchased a new car in 2009 and had a really good experience, so we decided to come back. Let me start by saying my husband worked in dealerships for 40 years, and retired from Thompson's a few years ago, and I worked in retail for 38 years, so we both have a clear understanding of what quality customer service is. On Thursday, we stopped by the dealership on our way to Arkansas to look at a Ford pickup that was advertised on your website. We met Zac Feith. He informed us that the truck had sold. We decided to drive around and see what else was available. We found a black GMC 2007 model that we were immediately interested in. After looking it over and talking to Zac, we decided we would come back on Monday. He was in agreement with this, taking our phone number, that Monday would work out great for him as well. On Saturday morning around 8:30 am he called and we set up an appointment with him for today, Monday at 9:30am. Today we drive up at the scheduled time with our title and our checkbook, to have him meet us in the parking lot to inform us that the truck was sold , in his words to "Some old guy that felt like he had been ripped off a few months ago" He quoted us a price of 15999.00, and he stated that this guy had seen it on the internet so they had to honor that price to the man who purchased the truck. He also stated that he was busy on Saturday and didn't have time to call us and let us know that it was sold, he also stated that he was there until 8:00 pm on Saturday. So I guess he couldn't find 2 or 3 minutes to give us a call. Then, today we drive from Ozark to Aurora, expecting to purchase the truck, not knowing it was a waste of time and gas. It is about a 45 minute drive from where we live. I don't know what time he went to work this morning, but again, he stated that he had forgot we were coming so he didn't call us this morning either. Needless to say we were and still are truly disappointed, not only in the fact that he didn't keep his word to us, and allowed someone else to buy a vehicle he had basically promised not once, but twice to hold for us, but that he also didn't call us, and we made a trip for nothing, but also that fact that he stated that "He FORGOT that we were coming", I guess we weren't that important. Very unprofessional, and just an all around horrible experience. Not in our opinion, what we would consider quality customer service.

I was shopping for a Chevy Bolt and looking everywhere in the country for the best deal. Some other dealers had advertised great prices but then when attempting to purchase from them, they added charges back on due to not qualifying for certain credits, incentives, etc. So I was very skeptical when I found the Bolt heavily discounted at Mayse. However, the advertised price turned out to be true and the internet sales specialist Steve was great through the whole process.
I am very unhappy with the Service I have recently received at Mayse Automotive. I will begin with saying I have always had my car serviced at Mayse. I purchased all my vehicles there so I do my best to stay loyal. Mike in the oil change department has always been nice to me and will always explain what he has done to my car and what it needs. I trust him. However today I called and talked to Bill the manager over the service department. My car has been acting up and over-heating. He was very rude to me on the phone. Telling me that if they even pull my car into the shop it will be $97. I understand they have to be paid for taking time to find out whats wrong with it..no issue with that at all. My problem is the way it was presented to me. It really upset me being treated they way I was. I understand everyone may have a bad day once in awhile but why did he have to take it out on me? I wasnt being rude at all to him. After talking to a few co-workers and friends I have found out that I am not the only customer that has had issues with the manager. I will not give out names but I know of atleast 4 different people that will no longer take their vehicle to Mayse for service, or purchase from Mayse due to the manager in the service department.They go to Thomsons in Springfield or the Chevy dealer in Republic. I hope the owner or a manger above him will address this issue. I am sure im not the only paying customer to get this kind of treatment. I dont expect anything free or a discount. I just want the issue known. I feel that giving a 1 star is over-rated, but 0 is not an option.
