We have dealt with dealerships around the country and everyone knows what to expect when entering the domicile of a car salesman. Dread it with a passion. We were pleasantly surprised after driving well out of our way to Mayse Automotive in Aurora Mo. 2 vehicles in 2 days no hassle no gimmicks from our salesman Shane Davis,and instead of the endless wait in financing we were gone in less than 2 hours start to finish. Both days. We shouldnt be looking again anytime soon but when the time comes it will be back to Shane and Mayse Automotive. A great experience.

I am giving Mayse a three star rating, my husband and I purchased a vehicle here mid 2016 and the buying process was smooth and the staff was friendly. Fast forward 6 months later and our car is broke down and needs a new engine and the warranty that I pay for denies coverage for repairs. This vehicle only had 60,000 miles on it. I spoke to multiple mechanics on the issue and they all agreed this was an issue due to no fault of our own and started with lack of maintenance at the dealership. I looked over the warranty closely and realized they don't really cover anything, save your money and shop for a warranty seperate from what the dealership offers. It's a ploy for the warranty company and service department to cheat you. I'll be putting my own engine in for a quarter of the price that Mayse would have done it for. I also cancelled my warranty. It's useless if it's not going to cover me when I need it the most.

Had a great experience buying my new truck. I was not pressured and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. My salesman David Brown was great to work with.

We purchased a certified Chevy Impala and our salesman was Ehren Clark, an extremely professional person, who made the transaction quite pleasant. The entire staff that we dealt with at Mayse were professional and friendly. It was a 2 hour drive for us to get to this dealership, but well worth the drive and time. We've only had the vehicle for a day....but we are very pleased with it, and would recommend this dealership and Ehren Clark to anyone wishing to purchase a car or truck.

Fantastic experience purchasing a truck from Mayse. Easy to browse their inventory on my phone from the comfort of home, then head over to the dealership for a test drive. Ehren in sales was great to deal with, very accommodating, and made it a no-pressure interaction. And when it came time to purchase, Jeff in the finance department really knew the process so we flew through it. Traded in my car, they gave me a fair value, and they had my new truck all fueled up, detailed, and ready for me. Chose to have a couple accessories added to it and they had that all done and ready too.

As a side note, I asked both guys I dealt with how long they'd been working there. Ehren has been there 17 years; Jeff nearly 20. I think it speaks volumes about a business when they treat their employees that well to retain them for that length of time, and I think this also ultimately translates through from the employees to the customers' experience. Would recommend to anyone.

I had an amazing experience at Mayse thanks to David Brown. He was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He talked things through with me, and did not rush me even though it was about time to close for the day. He helped me set up the bluetooth calling, XM radio, and OnStar before I left to ensure that I would get it done correctly. My extended family has bought cars from Mr. Brown before and he NEVER disappoints. Over all it was a marvelous experience, and I am in love with my new Chevy!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience buying my truck. The process was smooth, no pressure and Mike Whitesel really worked with me to make sure everything I wanted was covered. I couldn't beat the deal I got anywhere else and I walked away with exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. Everyone I worked with there was very nice and I didn't feel any anxiety or pressure like I have in the past at other dealerships. I will definitely be back for vehicles in the future. I was honestly not pleased with my service at first, after seeing my concerns posted on here Mayse personally reached out to me and my family asking what they could do to help in any way. I was shocked at the kindness and time that was taken out of their day to make my experience the best it could be. You don't get that with a lot of companies now days. I am now happy to say that I would recommend Mayse to my friends and family.

Awesome place no complaints whatsoever, smooth transaction

Low valuation on trade. Was able to get $1,700 more on trade at dealership 20 miles away. Also, vehicle I purchased at the other dealership was comparable in make/model/trim/mileage and had a lower price. Vehicles on lot were not cleaned and salesperson did not seem highly motivated.

UPDATE: Dealership called back next day indicating they wanted to give me the asking price for my trade. I informed them I had already purchased at another dealership. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? May try again when I go to purchase a new truck in a year or two.

John at Mayes Auto Group is one of best salesman we have ever had the pleasure to meet. He answered all our questions and was very friendly and professional. He even helpd us set up our cell phones to link to the truck! My insurance lady called him today to get info I failed to have with me and she said he was one of the nicest and most helpful of most dealerships she has dealt with!! Highly recommend them

The service team is very professional and prompt. The only drawback is they had to order an additional part for warranty work, however they quickly set me up with a loaner vehicle and advised they would have the part the next day and would call me when it was installed. They made sure that I had everything I needed from my car (including some things I did not think of) before leaving the dealership.

While searching in the Kansas City area for an Acura MDX, but not finding anything that fit our budget, I expanded my search out a couple hundred miles and found the perfect vehicle at Mayse Automotive, in Aurora , MO. I called Steve S. and spoke with him about the 2014 Acura MDX, since it was priced below anything we had seen in the KC area, and he assured me it was in great condition and he would pull the keys and have it detailed for me if we chose to drive down to see it(about 180 miles). I advise we would drive down and see it. From the moment we arrived, Steve made us feel appreciated and valued. Even after the negotiating was finished and we moved on to the finance department, Tripp was as personable as we could have hoped for. He genuinely seemed interested in our purchase and our lives while he explained the paperwork. I would highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Steve S. and Tripp for a wonderful experience!

Wish I could give 10 stars! Mike Pullen and the staff at Mayse went WAY above and beyond! We bought my sons first car here yesterday, and they helped me present it to him in a most awesome fashion. They put his new Mustang in their photo booth in the back corner of the showroom. Then they helped me find another car ( of a year and color that he REALLY wouldn't want) in front of that and even put a big bow on it. Then when we arrived we presented him the keys and the "fake" car. He (my boy) took it graciously, and we let the initial shock set in. Then Mike said "try unlocking it". When he did that his real car honked from behind him. When he turned they rolled back the curtain, and there was His new car, sitting in this big white space lit up like the fourth of July! AWESOME REVEAL!!! Thanks to ALL the staff for making my sons first car experience a totally spectacular memory!!!!!

Just purchased a beautiful car from John Ellis at Mayse in Aurora. John was very helpful and went above and beyond to work out a great deal for us. He even had the car delivered to me in Nixa so that I didn't have to leave work! The man who walked me through the financing was kind and funny and made the process easy.
