Mayse s.l. Review

I had been searching for a White Knuckle Challenger and finally saw one online at Mayse. It was a couple of hours away, so I wanted to call and ask about its condition before I made the drive. I was connected to Eric and he answered all of my questions and took the time to look over the car for me. He kept me informed of its availability until I was able to come down. The showroom floor and lobby were clean and they were making efforts to keep surfaces sanitized. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Eric made it an easy process and I got a fair price for my trade in. I would highly recommend them.

I bought my car here and no one else has ever serviced it. The guys answer all my questions and put me at ease when I swear the small stuff. Thanks

Don't go buy a car to this company. I went one time and they reported my credit to too many bank even they did not let me know about it. I still receiving my credit reports. I hate it.

We were in Aurora, Mo recently and stopped into Mayse Automotive. We visited with Marty Newport and described a vehicle we were looking for Although he did not have the exact car we were looking for, we did enjoy the conversation and very much appreciated the knowledge and expertise that he shared with us when looking for a used car.

Other things have come up, and we have put our car search on hold and we will definitely contact Marty when we are back in the Market.

We had a great experience. Everything was done in a timely matter. I was called to be kept up with what was going on with the progress. Couldn't have asked for better service.

I was very impressed with the price, they actually tried to get me the best deal, in the past at other dealers I would have to fight to get anything off the cost or to get any extras. Mayes Auto was a very pleasant experience Kelby and Dave brown were amazing to work with.

I had recently looked at a 2016 Chevy equinox my experience was terrible. My sales person in the manager told me they drop it $500 if I wouldn't go to Thompson's in Springfield Missouri. Well let's just say I did purchase from Thompson's I also got $2000 more on my trade in . I see why now they didn't want me to go to Thompson's in Springfield Missouri far better service they actually talk to me and didn't ignore me the whole time I was there. I have told all my friends that have been looking for a car to avoid mayse in Aurora

David Brown was an excellent salesperson to work with as was all the others we dealt with. David was respectful and informative. It was a great experience.

The car performance was greatly enhanced. The Service Writer informed me of the problem and how long it would take to complete the repair and service. It was ready when he said and less than the estimated cost.

We brought our Cruze in for an oil change. There was no wait time at all, we got right in. Mike Warnow greeted us and the gentlemen in the Quick lube started the oil change right away. Thank you guys for being so Friendly and Efficient.

My husband and I would highly recommend Ehren Clark and the team at Mayes Automotive when shopping for a new or quality used vehicle. Ehren worked hard to meet our needs and provide the best deal possible. He was straight forward and personable throughout the process. Not only have we purchased two vehicles from Ehren this past year, several of our family members have done the same. Over the course of all of our dealings with Mayes, everyone has demonstrated a willingness to ensure our satisfaction. We definitely plan to return to Ehren and Mayes for our future vehicle purchases.

Friendly, courteous, finished quickly. Waiting area clean, had interesting magazines and muted tv.

My husband and I were pleased with the pricing. As for the service, very disappointed. We test drove the car on an evening. The salesman was off the following day. As the carfax stated an accident the salesman was not familiar with the vehicles history. I asked him to find out before we purchase the car the next day. He assured me he would even though he was off work that day. He DIDN T!!! I had the take the title from the financial advisor office to him so he could call them. Then I asked about the services that were done ... oil, tire pressurre etc... he did not even tell me what was done or have the motivation to ask. Thankfully the financial advisor stepped out of his way to provide that service for us. Very frustrating.. Then when we left it was raining I couldn t see out of the front window, the person who detailed the car had armoural all over the window which made it greasy and unclear to see the road. A 1/2 mile down the road the tire pressure gauge came on... another frustrating moment. Then lastly the salesman TEXT my cell phone after we left to apologize for the mess which occurred staying someone else didn t do their job. WRONG the salesman didn t do his job or did he have any motivation to provide excellent customer service. This was our first experience with Mays Automotive and will be our last.

We are very happy with the service we received at Mayse in Aurora! We were so pleased with Mike Lanphier, he is very knowledgeable and super friendly. We told him what we wanted, and he delivered. I would definitely go there again. Super great people.

Very pleased with this business. Not only do they offer very competitive pricing, but the staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Mike from the sales team went out of his way to make my car buying experience memorable. When speaking with a member of their finance team and faced with decisions, the team member not only explained my options clearly and concisely, but also offered examples from his own personal experience to help me relate. You guys have earned yourself a customer for life.

Employees were nice service turnaround time was good. I'm not a fan of first come first serviced on oil changes I prefer an appointed time for service.

Mike Barns was very helpful over the phone and when we arrived he was able to get the process of purchasing our car going very quickly. We are extremely happy with everything!

I have several family members that have purchased vehicles from Mayse, so they were the first place I looked. Since I live in Springfield I browsed their stock online. I compared their cars prices and mileage with other car lots closer to home but Mayse had a much better deal. When I called Mike Lanphier was very helpful in setting up a test drive. The car was ready when we got there and he made the process very easy. Everyone I talked to at the dealership was very professional. Since I purchased the car I have emailed Mike questions and he always gets back with me in a timely manner. I'm very happy with my decision to buy from Mayse.

First, let me say that this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. The folks at Mayse Automotive Group were incredible to work with. I have been in the market for a Chevrolet Silverado for a couple of years now. I was searching the internet and found a truck that Mayse was advertising for 11K off MSRP. This truck was 15 to 20 thousand off any truck I could find in the South Florida area. My wife and I could not believe this was true. We called and spoke with Steve Shiveley the Internet Sales Manager. He said that he is able to offer these types of deals because of his volume and his location. We then called our credit union, worked on the financing and 2 days later I flew up to Springfield, Mo. Mayse arranged for me to be picked up at the airport and drive me to the dealership. Once at the dealership I had the privilege of meeting Gizmo the company mascot and the best greeter around! I also met Matt Mayse the Vice-President and General Manager, Greg Poe the new car manager, Tripp Cook the finance manager, and Steve Shiveley the Internet sales manager. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful each one of these individuals are. There was no high pressure sales, which was great. Eric Perryman explained everything very well and made certain I had no questions. Top notch! They also gave me what I wanted for my SUV.

Poor way to run a business. We were there to look at Jeeps and after 15 minutes of walking around with no help we left and went to Fletcher Auto Group in Joplin. We have never been to Mayse Auto until today and we sure won t be back!

Overall great experience, great price on our new car with no haggling required. Only complaint, after being on the lot for 30 minutes with no sale people approaching us, we had to go find one. Our sales person (Michael Kelim) turned out to be great, and made the process easy from start to finish! I understand most people don't want to be pestered by a sales person and that this could be difference of preference. So if you're on the lot and nobody approaches you, don't be afraid to go get someone at the front desk.

They get you in and out pretty quick, you just pay a premium for it. No complaints

Could not of asked for better. Eric P was an exceptional salesman from start to finish. We had a small issue with our vehicle and the service department drove an hour and a half one way to get the car and take it back to the dealer to be repaired and returned it the next day. Exceptional dealership!

I began my search for a new car online and ended with Mayse Automotive Group in Aurora, MO. Both the internet sales manager and the sales representative I worked with (Matt and Ehren) were kind, courteous, and professional. I never felt any 'pressure' to purchase this car.

I had an appt for key fob replacement at 930 on Monday. I arrived just before 9am. Went to Chris. W's office introduced myself said I know I'm a little early her replied you are 35 min early. I h@ve someone else I'm working with n it will be @ an hour I said I can't wait I rescheduled for the at 2 pm. I drove in at 2pm he told me to wait in waiting room they would program it. In 30 min it was ready. My overall feeling is that he was very rude n I wont be back for service at Mayse.

Buying a new car has never been fun for me. I hate going to car lots, hate the whole process. However, Mayse Automotive Group has completely changed that experience for me!! Mayse is a great place to buy a vehicle! Everyone there is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. My wife and me have purchased our last two vehicles from Mayes. My wife and I don't like car shopping and going to different dealerships and getting hassled. At Mayse this is not the case there is no high pressure to buy and the prices are awesome compared to anywhere else we looked for high quality vehicles. Mayse definitely makes the car buying experience easy and the next time we will look for a vehicle it will be no where else but at Mayse Automotive.

I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze for my son. We worked with the salesman Mike Whitesel. We test drove the vehicle very late in the day (after closing), placed an offer for the car, and then received a call the very next morning as promised by Mike. We agreed upon a price and came in that day, purchased and drove the car home.

The service was outstanding, absolutely no hassles or pressure, they did everything they said they would. My son is extremely happy..we purchased a great car at a great price. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had in my lifetime.

I have purchased a few cars in my time and went to about every dealer at least once...if not to buy then look...but I have to say Mayse has impressed me the most. I met Ehren Clark and he is amazing!!! I love the no pressure sales and never once tried to talk me into a vehicle I wasn't interested in. He was funny, energetic, and a true gentleman in customer service. Tripp in financing was amazing too. Very thorough and very diligent and hard working. First of all, their service department is good! I have no issues with them at all... But the sales area of this automotive entity lacks considerably. Their trade in values are a complete joke. Go down the road to Jimmy Michel Motors and your trade in goes up $2k. Mayse offered me $4k below the low side of KBB trade in value. They will never have my business. EVER.

David Brown is the best! We have purchased a couple of cars from him and each time he is so friendly! Absolutely no pressure and willing to do what ever he can to make the process easy and quick! The best car buying experience we have had.

After totaling my car, we visited Mayse to try to get a new car. Things had been stressful dealing with insurance up to this point and we were unsure if we would be able to get into a car since we had recently bought a new home (within two weeks of the accident). Marty was absolutely fantastic and made the process so simple! Once we got to finance, Tripp was wonderful and so laid back, which made the money part of things exciting rather than daunting. I will recommend Mayse and their terrific staff to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Also, they bought every one waiting (it was a super busy Satuday) lunch from Pizza Hut since we would be waiting a little longer than normal. This was by far my best car buying experience I've ever had. I went in knowing the exact car I wanted, and Duell was great at answering any and all of my many questions. Duell made sure I was able to learn more about the vehicle I was looking into as well as cheaper options so that he knew what I was looking to buy was really what I wanted. I still purchased the more expensive option that I originally went for, but it made me feel good to know that he offered me cheaper options and packages on the same type of car to make sure I knew all the features I was paying for and whether I really wanted them or not. I've never been in such a low pressure, really no pressure, car buying experience. Duell was such a help and so down to earth and helpful. Rob B in the financing department was also great to work with. I was able to get a payment lower than expected and added some features to keep my car looking and running like new for years to come. Overall amazing experience. I will be back and send others!!

when they sell you something that has a safety issue it seems different

The front seat weld is broke
So seat is loose
Seems really unsafe
When I reached out the sales rep kind of said tough
You bought used
Doesn't fall under lemon law
And corporate said they should make it right but cant force then
Just be careful seat seemed fine til I got it home

So i have yet to buy my dream jeep from here but a really good friend of mine did and it was a awesome experience! I have bought my jeeps and other cars from Fletchers in Joplin and every time it has been painful to say the least. The gentleman my friend worked with was Luis Marrero and this man was on the ball now. He was super respectful and helpful with any questions we had. And he let me test drive a 2020 Jeep Gladiator and boy oh boy.........i tell you that made my day. And my next vehical will without a doubt be from Mayse and i hope i get the privlage to work with Luis. Luis Marrero you the man!

I have had a very rough time with my lil' Chevy Sonic 2013 that I bought from Mayse. Left a really bad review for them about 7 months ago, but I felt like it should be mended. The owner of Mayse called me personally to express his regret about the hardship that the car has caused me, but also calmly explained how they receive their pre-owned cars and that they have no control over which ones they receive. So my complaints about the car are more towards GM than to Mayse Automotive.
Everyone that I've talked to through Mayse has been kind, patient, and very professional. Not to mention they always have the happiest people just waiting to take your calls and guide them appropriately!
Back to the owner, a very very nice man who knows how to treat his customers as well as explain to them how processes go. Since my car's timing belt went out a mere 300miles before my warranty was over and Chevrolet Reliable said they wouldn't do the repair since it wasnt covered under my warranty (and said they 'fixed' my AC, which they didnt, but Mayse did!!) But Mr. Mayse said that they would take care of my timing belt and my AC. And for that I am fixing my review and giving them the 5 stars they deserve. :)

The salesperson wasn't pushy and checked with a supervisor about an incorrect feature. The financial area was a little slow even with our cash payment. I will be back.

From the first contact to the delivery of the vehicle, all parties involved at Mayse did an excellent job of follow through and I received my vehicle in a very timely manner. I purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee sight unseen, only doing facetime with the salesman, John. Everything they said it was was true. Had the car delivered from Aurora, MO to Denver, CO without a hitch. Great service all the way around.

It took a week for us to get everything signed, but they were extremely helpful through the process.

Drove over an hour to this dealership for a specific car only to find that the salesman could care less about my interest in the car. The car had a noise problem. I let Mr. Kieny know what was up. He said welp, if I was really interested in the car then maybe they could have their guys look at it or maybe send it to a toyata dealer to have them look at it since it's a different make then theirs. He said that they don't test drive their vehicles and only do the bare minimum check which caught me off guard... Then I had to push to contiune on and have him look into the problem and to call me when he had any information. It's been over a mouth and no contact. I shouldnt have to walk him every step to get him to sell me something. Too many red flags which is why I'm glad iv crossed Mayse Auto off my list to ever check again.

Ehren was superbly helpful and up to par with helping me get the Scat Pack Challenger. Tripp was very helpful and also quick to respond as well as get back to me even after operating hours to get my paperwork together to be sent to me.
