Great service. Pity k there was a leak in the room and it took 3 days to fix it

Place its amazing. The staff is helpful and prompt to respond when you have a problem. However there is a terrible issue with communication and knowledge about daily activities. The dark side are the time share salesman they would not leave you along

Excellent place to spend a weekend, just that the food inside the hotel is very expensive for the portions that serve you, good atmosphere, good music excellent service, the places to go from one place to another are very long bone that you must To walk a lot or you have to get on a stroller to take you to that place, the rooms very clean and very comfortable, the food is normal in some occasions it is rich, the shows they give are very well done, the bad thing about the hotel is its beach , a terrible place to get to the beach, it's on the rocks and it's dangerous

Part of the larger complex of vidanta resorts, this is the low end but it is still quite good. Beautiful jungle complex, great pools and beaches.

Excellent place to vacation without having to leave the complex.

Wow. Beautiful. I'm fat and i didn't even mind the walking. Once you figure out shuttles you never walk more than 3-5 minutes anywhere. The scenery is paradise. And don't be scared (or violent) toward the animals and wildlife. You're walking in their home. They wint harm you. Just be respectful. It's a family resort so lots of kids. But honeymooners too. Never a dull moment. They took care of us so well.

Everyone makes you feel welcome. Beautiful place and the weather was perfect.

This is better than Vallarta, the facilities are already old

Magnificent facilities pity that for the expensive of its restaurants and the small of its portions have one to cook in the room, instead of really vacationing

We drive down from Alaska with our rv we were meeting family here we showed up Christmas Eve. My wife is special needs and have a therapy dog they would not let it on the property. We even offered to compromise and keep the dog in the rv for a night. They forced us off the property and wouldn t refund our money. They place is great if you want to follow the crowd like a sheep. It felt very racist. This place ruined our Christmas. We are selling our ownership in this scam

For me the logistics is pessimistic ... you must go to your loby in your car or in your taxi ... it is very comfortable ... move anywhere, everything is very expensive ... for those who are going to consume ... super people kind..nps I play cold and mluvia in those carts was a chiflon we return sick .. there is no logistics 3 age and disabled .. if you have foundation, you should know that this is not for the elderly or in hot weather ... its logistics is sjper uncomfortable and nothing functional ..

Clean rooms, very luxurious, with kitchen and balcony. Most food is around nice US restaurant prices. They will try very hard to sell you a timeshare here however.

It is a beautiful place and resort, I had a great vacation, I did not put 5 stars on the beach, which is not beautiful because I can not swim safely through the rocks and reefs, the distance and the expensive taxi service if no car rental.

Beautiful resort. Been here three times now and it just gets better and better.

If you love ruins...you will love this place. Large grounds for wondering around. We didn't have a tour guide, a may have missed some of the rich history.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. We just checked in today and have a master 2 bedroom suite as well as a single suite and brought 3 babies under the age of 2.5 with us. The rooms we were given are essentially in a mosquito infested jungle and are so far from the pool you have to wait at least 15 minutes outside just to catch a shuttle (golf cart) to the pool. None of our strollers fit on the shuttles and therefor going to the pool and beach is useless because our children can't walk that far. While we wait outside after just 4 hours here our babies are COVERED in mosquito bites even all over their faces. The shuttles are NOT safe for babies and toddlers and we have already had close encounters of them almost falling out. This is not safe and completely unacceptable. On top of all of that, the milk we brought from the states as well as milk we got once we arrived, after putting it in the fridge our fridge stopped working and spoiled all of our milk at bedtime. Unless you love thousands of mosquitos bites DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS "RESORT". We are trying to check into a hotel somewhere else in playa right now because it is so bad. -Jada mowles

A very nice place, it has cleanliness, order, good design and the place never stops surprising you.

Excellent care received at the Vidanta Resort in the Riviera Maya. Excellent care and treatment of all your staff, from first to last. Very, very kind, attentive and helpful. They make you feel at home. It is one of the greatest merits they have. I will return without any doubt.

I will give them 1 star just because their cleaning staff and drivers are awesome, the hotel and facility are beautiful and super clean. on the other hand the first morning in the hotel some lady woke us up telling if we wanted a tour of the resort that included a free breakfast, we saw her that day to set up for the second morning we where there and i asked her if it was related at all to a time share presentation and she said absolutely not, it is just a tour of the resort and a free breakfast buffet, after the breakfast we spent about 1 hour walking around the resort, wen we where suppose to leave the SALES PERSON giving us the tour took us in to a room that looked exactly like a time share sales floor and every time we asked to leave they told us to wait for somebody else that would give us our sign out sheet. once we hit noon AND LOST 1/2 A DAY i started to get upset and aggravated and they started to get rude and aggressive, the sales pitch that these people use need to be against the law, i came for a vacation to relax and not have to deal with these kind of people, just before they finally showed us the way out, BECAUSE WE DIDN'T KNOW THE WAY OUT, WE KEPT ASKING WHERE THE WAY OUT WAS WITH NO ANSWER, I FELT TAKEN. THE PEOPLE THAT SHOWED US THE WAY OUT ASKED US ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE AND WHEN WE TOLD THEM HOW THEY BROUGHT US HERE WITH LIES THEY LAUGHED AND TOLDS US HOW BAD OF A TIME WE HAD, " YOU GUYS WENT THROUGH ALL OF OF THAT FOR NOTHING, WE USUALLY GIVE YOU A TOUR OF RUINS OR PASSES TO A PARK, BUT YOU ARE GETTING ONLY 50% BACK ON YOUR RESORT FEE" its been 2 weeks since we came back from the vacation and still no deposit back $300.00 and nothing on the resort fee $ 75.00 i called and only got transferred from person to person with nobody having answers for anything. i will go back to cancun but definitely will stay away and everybody should STAY AWAY FROM VIDANTA RESORTS, they will lie to you any way they can to get a sale. They don't care for their customer at all, all they care is about making money. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO AND THEY OFFER YOU ANYTHING MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING.

The truth is, a very good hotel, I've already gone to the one in Vallarta and now I'm in Cancun. I really like the hotel and everything, but they should improve the little pieces of wood on the bridges, since my mom sprained her ankle after tripping on a piece of wood.

Really awesome and the people are nice! Be warned that they you have to pay to go into town ($50 usd one way) so you're essentially stuck if you want to save money. But the stuff they have inside is cool (big pool) so there's that which is nice.

The service leaves much to be desired, the second night they asked me permission to enter because there was a water leak, when returning my flip flops were full of cement, they do not leave you natural waters more than when you arrive and if they are several days you have to buy the water and my car left without a battery inside the hotel and when asking for help the manager told me it was not a mechanic's shop and that it was for a taxi, no more.

Only been here one night but so far so good. Figuring out the teams and the colored flags can be tricky since it isn't explained in anyway which trams go where. Staff is friendly so far.

Very good resort, very complete, only with long distances between sites and site

Great complex, with many pools, restaurants, hotels, activities ... but very slow the process to get out of there.

This place has its ups and downs. The staff in the restaurants are very friendly, table service is top notch. This is our first experience with a resort, and it is an eye opener. No one tells you to get a towel for the pool, you have to get a towel card from the main check in lobby. No one tells you a $1000 credit card hold they are going to precharge on your account. Good luck trying to leave and not pay for the privilege of leaving. Main shuttle service is for "select hours only" so you can take 3 different shuttles to get to the spot where you can walk 15 minutes to get out. This trip was purchased through a direct buy travel club, so the initial price was very fair. Just watch out for ALL the incidentals you are going to rack up.

The best option to stay if you are looking for a resort, has more than 15 restaurants and many activities and amenities, food and service are the best.

Very relaxing, accommodating, exciting and a fantastic time for friends and family. Loved every second there. Restaurants were excellent and plenty! And let's not forget get Cirque du Soleil's "Joya!"

Everyone was so polite,the good was great and so was the weather

My husband I checked out this morning we were there for 7 days. Lamps shades were burnt the suite had mold in it I asked to be switched to another room it was a little better. The service there was really great!!

The hotel is beautiful in its facilities. Staffing is now limited by the pandemic and shuttle services to rooms are understood to take longer. But it is excessive. The costs have risen too high. The valet parking too late and excessive cost. NO SECURITY MEASURES ARE TAKEN INSIDE THE COMPLEX foreigners are not required to wear face masks at least. In other hotels like in the secrets they even make you sign a contract. To Canada. They only give you hand gel every time you get into the transport truck. There are no measures of healthy distance. They say that the hotel is at 30% occupancy and that's why you dare to go. And I could ensure that the occupancy is at 80%. And there are not enough staff. The membership sales team was so insistent that they dialed daily at 7 AM and 11 PM for their costly and poor tasting "free" breakfasts. They were kindly told that we did not want to buy memberships. And every day they insisted to the degree of not letting us rest on our vacation. Charges were made to my husband's card without authorization from the hotel. They just say: "an apology". My dad's medicine broke due to staff carelessness. They just said "an apology". Even the internet is expensive when it is already a service that should be included in the cost of the stay. The truth is there is no desire to return. Only the three stars are because the hotel is beautiful in its facilities.

Mayan is a rip off. Its not worth it. The rooms are nice the service cool. But they charge you for everything. They gave me a 2 for 1 card to eat but its only for breakfast at a certain time. This place amaze me on all the hidden charges they have. If you come make sure you have pocket full of money because off top you have to put 800-1000 deposit when you check in. And they told us we have to go to there timeshare presentation which we found out we didn't after it was over. If you come buy groceries outside in town and cook every night the only way to get over.

Always very comfortable, quiet and mostly super friendly people

Just leaving the place. Good place for family wouldnt recommend it much for younger crowd since its very closed in by that i mean you are far from everything, store, clubs, bars, cancun etc. The pools are very nice and the food is super expensive. If yiu visit bring alot of mosquito repelente.

Amazing customer service, great installations and amenities

A 5 star resort, very comfortable rooms, include kitchen, Refri, microwave, stove, coffee maker, cooking utensils, fence of everything! Inside the room it is super spacious, it has a jacuzzi inside the room and it has a king bed and a small room. In the living room you have 2 large sofa beds that can fit 2 people on each sofa, it has a large terrace that has a small pool, and the bathroom is quite spacious.

I am very uncomfortable with the insistence of always knowing where we were going. They care

Try to get a room in buildings 1-10, anything past 10 will be really far out from the pools, restaurants, etc. The facilities are nicely maintained, the staff is friendly, the prices are affordable but you're paying US prices. The pools are fantastic! The only thing missing would be a lazy river and a few slides for the kids.

A very beautiful, quiet or lively place depends on the taste. First-class care Swimming pools to choose. Beaches. Hikes, explore.
