Nylander Couture Review

Nylander Couture Ltd was instructed by Zee
Abayas to produce 6 toiles for the first collection.
There was dishonesty in what work was carried out, no proof to show evidence of expenditure and a serious lack of communication. Ivor (owner) claimed that he carried out the work on his own which he was unable to account for the number of hours spent on the
pieces. In the end, i only received 5 poor quality finished pieces
instead of 6 and there were Incompleted parts not carried out in which Nylander agreed to complete (evidence attached). To summarise I paid for work which had not been done i.e the missing 6th piece. I even provided my own fabric even though I was charged for this. To verify the poor quality of work, I had the toiles externally audited by a designer who
reported on these errors with her expertise.
PLEASE BE WARNED DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
I just want to warn and ensure young start up designers or brands think twice before approaching Nylander Couture.

I think Nylander Couture is a good sampling company. Ivor is very experienced in all kind of pattern cutting. I would also recommend for students to make there work done by him.

Been working with Nylander Couture for five months, the enthusiasm of Ivor (the owner) when working on my collection is very essential for the amount of hours required to make it all work it s important to have a positive mindset day to day! This tailoring company has well established business connections, a great team and a lot of hard work from the owner. If I was to say there is something that needs improvement it would be the scheduling of meetings, production process, etc. Just a bit more organisation needed, but overall, the work they promise tends to be the results you get. The owner has pushed me as a creative to reach goals I thought where too far, encouragement and hard work are in his persona. It is all a learning process. Keep it up!

I worked for Nylander Couture from 2010 to 2012 when I was a student. I learnt a lot from him the craftsmanship is superb, the tailoring excellent communication skills brilliant. Ivor is a very fussy pattern cutter his work is outstanding he has worked for a lot of designers from high Street to high end. His work is of highest quality. I now have my own tailoring business and I work for a top fashion university it all started at Nylander Couture.

Worked as a fashion internship during the summer. It has been a great experience and learnt a lot from Ivor. A great team produces amazing works.

Regarding Eugenie Oldenburg thank you for your feedback we contacted many times during the process and after to resolve your disappointment in not reaching your expectations by telephone and email but did not get a response even to reimburse your money and return the silk pants you gave us. Not because we feel we did a bad job but because you caused our team irrational problems that verged on unfair rage and outbursts against our team Obviously we feel we offered the best service to you and again ask you to contact us to see if we can resolve the issue..
