This was definitely the best service I have ever received. The waiter and his assistant were always attentive and always on point with the service. The dinning was definitely too dark for my liking. It was so dark that my parents had to use a flashlight to read the menu. Considering the prices maybe it's best you don't see the prices. The bathroom is horrible it's only one with everyone constantly trying to come in. The food was definitely good but I find it was a touch over priced. But I guess it's the level of attention that your paying for. The server was nice even if I didn't really spend massive amounts of money on appetizers and drinks so it was nice the server wasn't judgemental. The free birthday cake they threw in was a definite plus. The cocktail was amazing. Felt super tipsy after only one. Definitely recommended for special occasions.

Best steak meal I ever had! Everything was delicious and prepared as expected. Atmosphere is a lil loud and lighting is too dim, but 5 stars despite that as the food is simply delicious. Butter cake and cheesecake desserts are incredible!!

Had to wait long for a seat (even though it was Thursday night). In any case, my kids were visiting from out of town and all in all it was a great occasion. Had the ribeye medium well, would highly recommend.

This is one of the finest world class steak restaurants in the world! We ate on the third floor which has a slightly different clientele and background music (where the beautiful people of LA dine. Try the Wagu Bone-in Ribeye Steak...Incredible! Started with the Seafood Tower which was fresh, delicate lobster & gigantic shrimp. The wine list is large. The waiter pushed for us to buy from the special wine list but the regular list has a great selection and the prices are reasonable.

Awesome Experience! 1st time @ Mastros. Atmosphere very nice. Great little view outside but too cold. Not dressed for it! Inside all types of celebrations going on. THE FOOD.... Mmmmmm I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the food but Yummy! LOBSTER mashed potatoes. Sauteed Spinach w/garlic. My cousin had steak which was a little over cooked. My salad was over saturated with dressing (the waiter came right away and replaced it). The BUTTER CAKE taste just as good as the aroma it gave off with ice cream and whipped cream. A must have! Lastly I tasted a very expensive aged port wine that tasted like sweet Liqueur! Then I did have another drink some sugary sweet Mango concoction! Stay away from that!!! ( I did like the fact that the bartender asked if i had any allergies) [I should have stated Mango]. My overall Experience was wonderful. You also get a glimpse of celebrities too.

Mastro's has no pier. Best food steak and wine. Don't miss the lobster mash, filet steaks and the butter cake you just can't go past. Penthouse level takes the experience to another level. Thanks Mastro's

i love me a good medium rare steak. i waffle between this and cut being the best steak i've had. ive been to mastro's many times and cut twice, and last time cut was just not up to par, so mastro's is number one for me right now. i always hear about peter luger in NYC being the best steak, but i went recently and it just couldn't hold a candle to mastro's. the quality of the steak, the consistency, the delicious side dishes, the service, and ambiance all make it top notch. steaks are always cooked perfectly and never overseasoned. mastro's, thank you for being the reason i could never be a vegetarian. Thanks

We initially made a reservation on the top floor, not knowing the environment was designed to feel like the worst parts of a Las Vegas nightclub. Swirling blue lights, a "beat dropping" DJ and perhaps the loudest single room I've been in at any restaurant. Maybe it was because we were with a celebrity, but they quickly accommodated us, moving us down to the "quiet" floor. Once there, the service was impeccable, the food excellent, and the ambience much more relaxed. If you are looking for a steak in Los Angeles, there are few places you can go to get a better one than here. Plus, you get an old school Hollywood feel to the entire proceedings. As long as you are willing to spend the money (and it was unbelievably pricey), I'll give it a recommend... just avoid that painful top floor unless you're looking for a nightclub experience.

I wanted to bring my buyer client to a nice place for dinner. Mastro s is a wonderful place to celebrate any special occasion. We are celebrating the purchase of his new home! I recommend the Key Lime Martini and dubgeness crab appetizer. More

BONE -IN RIBEYE (22 OZ) JUST JAW DROPPING WITH FLAVOR AND FRESHNESS. I recently brought the wifey to this amazing establishment and boy was I amazed by the phenomenal customer service we received. Topped off the night with the Mastro's Signature Warm Butter Cake! Will be back here soon for sure!

This is my go to place for a beer or wine and good eats! Burbank was seriously lacking on the "cool" places to get a drink - thank god these guys came in 4 years ago! Not only do they have great beers/wine, they offer great vegan food! Make sure to try the disco fries and the vegan buffalo wings! SO.DAMN.GOOD.

I got the opportunity to eat here last night for a birthday dinner. We were a little bit late to the reservation but we had called in prior to let them know and they said it s okay. Do not worry! The reservation was at 7:45 and they said we had a 15 minute grace period, perfect. We got there and waited an hour to be seated. The two ladies upfront that were doing the check in, checked us in. The one the left side of the desk told us that it was no issue and she would get us a seat right away. (She was not even looking at our faces as she was talking to us by the way, she had her face stuffed in her computer screen). Mind you it s Saturday night and it s very busy which we understand but you can t even look at us? People came flooding in and everyone was getting seated BEFORE us. We asked a couple more times on what was taking so long and they said the same exact excuse that they were waiting for some tables to clear up. We noticed we seen another group bothered because they have not been seated either. They spoke to a manager and for seated right away... we asked THREE MORE TIMES! They gave us the same excuse. Of course I was more assertive with one of the girls who was seating and I told her if she knew a time because we did not want to eat at 11pm. (It was 9:15pm at this point) and the girl next to her stepped in and snapped at me throwing it in our faces and reminded us that we were late and she was still trying to figure it out. At this point we have waited for almost 1 hour and my friends and I were ready to leave. My friend was super over it and went as far of getting his car pulled up by valet to leave and as soon as they pull up the car- the birthday girl comes out and gets us and tells us that we are ready to be seated because the girls in the front over heard us wanting to cancel. We sat down and ate. The server was great but I don t know if I would come back to Mastro s at this location. I was very disappointed in the way they treated the whole situation. You d think because you pay for quality food, you get quality service from the beginning of the experience of eating here. Boy, was a I wrong.

Normally good but this time really DISAPPOINTING steak over cooked. Service slow. Fall from quality to be equale now to palms and ruth's chris is better than both..Ambient is still the best a maestro but not the food or service at least the last visit

Decent quality steaks. I personally didn't find the meat tender at all (had a ribeye) but the flavor was good. My friend's veal chop was way more tender. The salad was very tasty. Okay atmosphere, nothing fancy. Table service was good. Prices are reasonable for a steak house. Valet parking.

My wonderful wife brought me here for my birthday. All of the staff were amazing. They made this evening fanatic. I highly recommend the viking drink!! Mastro's definitely lives up to their name.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday, and I truly made the right decision! From the great service to the food, everything was amazing. Before we were seated, we headed over to the bar and tried the "Dream Berry." It was sweet and tasty, you couldn't even taste the vodka even though I was pretty buzzed! We had the pleasure of being catered to by the kind bartender who created it.

As for the food, we ordered roasted bone marrow and octopus strozzapeti pasta, lobster mashed potatoes, and the 12 oz filet. The pasta was good, but it wasn't mind blowing so I probably won't order it a second time. They are not stingy with lobster so the mashed potatoes were great; it's so fluffy and practically evaporated in my mouth. I saved the best for last. Filet = wow. I asked for medium rare, and they place your meat on a dish with a 400 degree temperature so it cooks right on your hot plate! That was awesome. Thank you for the yummy complementary cake and the great suggestions. It was definitely worth the money for a special occasion!

I had a great first experience here. We didn't have to wait long to get seated and the bread came out pretty quickly. Our server was very helpful and explained everything on the menu very clearly. We got mastros mashed (mashed potatoes baked potato style) and Mac and cheese for our sides. Honestly, we should have just ordered 1 side since they are pretty big. We ate less than half of each side. I ordered the petite filet 6 oz (I barely finished it) and the bone-in ribeye 22 oz, both medium rare. The petite filet was very tender and juicy while the ribeye was very flavorful and crispy. The plate they served the meat on was 400 degrees! Also, if you get sides, the servers serve it for you directly onto your plate, which was really entertaining. Also, don't skip dessert! Their infamous butter cake lived up to the hype.
I think next time I would share the 22 oz and order 1 side..

The food was good ,it was a party of 8 I got up to walk out some one and they took my drink off the table also they took 60 dollars off the table everyone had not left so I didn't understand why they did that.

Mastros Steakhouse a great place to dine!

Mastros Steakhouse a great place to dine!

The steaks are great but the service is better. Come here if you want top notch service. After dinning here twice I can say that the highly attentive staff is one thing that really sticks out about this place.

The dress code is a thang theres a big sign out front. We did see several people with hats on, apparently fancy hats are ok, just not ball caps. Several people had ripped jeans so I guess as long as they are fancy ripped jeans thats ok too.

This is a hip place to be, lots of great back drops for pics, selfies, instagram or whatevs.

Parking-$12.00 valet or $5 self park across the street. Valet also hand out bottles of water which is a plus.

Servers- Phenomenal, very professional and attentive. Really knew her menu and server etiquette. Probably the best example of server etiquette in Los Angeles. A++ in this department.

Ask to be sat in a well let area or risk getting left in the dark. Each table has a table lamp but it can get quite dark in areas.

Per the suggestion of our server I chose the Bone in Ribeye $63.00, wife and daughter like the filets. I love ribeyes which are a delightful cut of meat. The steak was served on a plate which was piping hot at 400 degrees i was told. The temperature of the steak was perfect... I do wish there was a bit more marbling but still a nice steak and decently seasoned.

Paired with Cherry Pie - Red wine

Side dishes:

Gorgonzola mac and cheese SO GOOD
Garlic Mash Potatoes- good but not as good as the mac
Snap peas- were snap peas, fun and fresh.
Streamed broccoli- fresh, straight steamed nothing unexpected
Sweet Potato fries- Totally on point, the best Ive had
Sweet Corn- Amazing

Our server brought us a delightful birthday cake with fresh made whipped cream compliments of the house. Im not a cake person but it was really really good. Chocolatey with a hint of coffee.

Our server was amazing and really pleasant to dine with, the food was great. Everyone had a wonderful experience.

Unlike many restaurants in LA, Mastros goes above to create a memorable experience for their guests.

A++

Fun dining experience. The place seemed a little over rated. However the service was great. Our server did a great job walking us through the menu. Live music offered nightly on the 2nd & 3rd floor. A little more formal dining on the first floor.

Our waiter did not offer the price of the kobe beef 4oz steak we ordered from the specials he told us and we found out it was $240 upon asking for our check, on top of that the steak was skimpy and full of grease/fat. My mambo salad had parmesan cheese all over the dressing and it was not disclosed on the menu description. Over paid for a disgusting meal... not cool.

Delicious and good service but expensive If you go upstairs, you can listen to live music together. The front plate is very hot and you can enjoy the meat warmly to the end. But I felt uncomfortable feeling the server encouraged me to
