Mastros Steakhouse a great place to dine!

Mastros Steakhouse a great place to dine!

The steaks are great but the service is better. Come here if you want top notch service. After dinning here twice I can say that the highly attentive staff is one thing that really sticks out about this place.

The dress code is a thang theres a big sign out front. We did see several people with hats on, apparently fancy hats are ok, just not ball caps. Several people had ripped jeans so I guess as long as they are fancy ripped jeans thats ok too.

This is a hip place to be, lots of great back drops for pics, selfies, instagram or whatevs.

Parking-$12.00 valet or $5 self park across the street. Valet also hand out bottles of water which is a plus.

Servers- Phenomenal, very professional and attentive. Really knew her menu and server etiquette. Probably the best example of server etiquette in Los Angeles. A++ in this department.

Ask to be sat in a well let area or risk getting left in the dark. Each table has a table lamp but it can get quite dark in areas.

Per the suggestion of our server I chose the Bone in Ribeye $63.00, wife and daughter like the filets. I love ribeyes which are a delightful cut of meat. The steak was served on a plate which was piping hot at 400 degrees i was told. The temperature of the steak was perfect... I do wish there was a bit more marbling but still a nice steak and decently seasoned.

Paired with Cherry Pie - Red wine

Side dishes:

Gorgonzola mac and cheese SO GOOD
Garlic Mash Potatoes- good but not as good as the mac
Snap peas- were snap peas, fun and fresh.
Streamed broccoli- fresh, straight steamed nothing unexpected
Sweet Potato fries- Totally on point, the best Ive had
Sweet Corn- Amazing

Our server brought us a delightful birthday cake with fresh made whipped cream compliments of the house. Im not a cake person but it was really really good. Chocolatey with a hint of coffee.

Our server was amazing and really pleasant to dine with, the food was great. Everyone had a wonderful experience.

Unlike many restaurants in LA, Mastros goes above to create a memorable experience for their guests.

A++
