Was booked into the hotel and prepaid. Only to arrive and be told they were over booked and no room for my family. We came off a 6 hour drive and left stranded, they were unable to find us another hotel in the area as everything was booked. We had to leave the area and find a hotel ourself. We spend over 2 hours trying to find a place to stay . Be careful if you book this hotel, I'm told it happens often there.

Great location and easy access to many attractions in the area. The WEGO bus stop is directly in front of the building for quick and easy access. I had the Fallsview view room which has a spectacular unobstructed view of the falls. The is also the cityview side of the building which isn't as nice. All floors near to the elevator has a view of the Falls. There is a Milestones and Starbucks inside the hotel. Would easily come back here again.
Worst service I had in any Marriott chain. Front desk manager gave attitude when she wasn't able to find promotional information that I'd shown her from their sales website. Kept on telling me they'll get back to me when no one called and kept on asking me to check in again on another day. Room was extremely dusty with glass containing red wine stains. Front desk staff also gave me wrong print out of where to go for magic show when I finally got tickets on the last night of stay (2 in Niagara falls this week) and I got incorrect charged for valet parking. So pls check Ur bill instead of using auto checkout option. No apologies or anything. Windy location and longest walk to anything. No other public/cheaper parking options in the area either . With so many options at Niagara falls, I would never stay there again for the rate vs service they're charging Cos I wasn't given any service .
The hotel was great. The only thing I can say that was not to what I consider Marriott quality was the restaurant. It needs a better selection of fresh vegetables and cold cuts/cheeses. The price was also not what I would say would be worth it for what is offered.
We LOVED this hotel. To learn how to save money read the entire review!!! The view of the falls was just amazing. You can wake up to see the falls out your window and even see the fireworks over the falls (done on weekdays at 10pm for about 5 minutes). The rooms feel very cozy and luxurious. The only complaint I have about the room is that the bathroom door is a sliding door with no lock. Here are the things I learned while staying there. Parking your own car will cost you $30 per day. Don't drive your own car around because parking will cost you everywhere you go. Purchase the WeGo bus passes and take those to all places. We did this for 2 days and even had a wheelchair and power scooter. The elevators are kind of a nightmare to ride. We were on the 5th floor and took the stairs a lot. It was much quicker. The wifi in the hotel is pretty much useless. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is $20 per person. Some in our group loved it others not so much. It was worth it in the sense that it was convenient to eat and then go get on the WeGo just outside the hotel. This is the part that will save you money. You will get billed for a PF charge. Look at your itemized bill. Here is what that is. It is a Promotional Fee that is charged to you to help them advertise to people for the falls. All the shops and restaurants around town charge you it. Talk to the front desk and tell them you would like to have that charge removed and they will remove it. Ask for a new itemized bill to be printed so you can make sure. This saved our family of 4 $160. Try it. It will work! Best of luck! Enjoy your stay and Niagara Falls!
It was very nice in spite that our wonderful room, which we liked a lot, did not have a good view. It overlooked the roof. We would definitely stay here again.
The only good thing I can say regarding this hotel is. Rooms were nice and the view was amazing of the falls. The staff was very unconcerning with the 5 times we asked regarding every ice machine on ever floor not working with 35 degree heat. And my husband literally checked all floors. Kept saying oh goodness will will get it them fixed right away. Never did. And when you come back to hotel just wanting to relax the TV signal never stayed on. Asked for water they charge you. Pool was good but never kept an eye on how many people were actually in it. At best I've stayed at better Motel's. Will never stay here again.
When arriving an hour after check in the room was still being cleaned and had to wait. Front desk staff were unsure of clearance for parking garage. The room was very clean when we went up. Great view of the falls. Could hear the water from room. Breakfast in the morning was okay. The omlete bar was the best part.
Great Hotel great location only one problem that I like to mention. Washrooms on the main floor don't work as they should when they were made the toilets don't flush manually the soap dispensers only work partial one is broken.
It is the last hotel on the street and even though it is a little behind the falls, it is the best. Your room windows don't get constantly soaked with the mist from the falls so your view is always amazing. We got a strange....I guess upgrade.....to a single room up one flight of stairs from the elevator on the 31st floor to room 3201. If you're able to walk up and down one flight of stairs when you come and go I would recommend this room to anyone. The view is absolutely the best, there are no other suites around you at all, you can see up river, the horseshoe falls, and the American falls at perfect angles, and it's just super private. My girlfriend and I still can't believe we got the room just because people didn't wanna walk up one flight of stairs. The restaurant in the hotel, Milestone, has amazing food. Dined there multiple times and thoroughly impressed by it. Great staff, free computer access to print out all my groupons, Wi-Fi said I was being charged but I was informed it is taken off the bill(it helps keep the Wi-Fi moochers on the street from taking bandwidth), room was super clean and lots of towels provided, and a bus stop right out front. All in all.....I'll be staying here anytime I return to Niagara Falls.
Stayed in the loft, 2 floor suite, king bed, 2 washrooms, front desk, room service, maids are all amazing, they will go the extra mile if you're planning a special stay at the hotel i.e anniversary, engagement etc
The hotel had a beautiful lobby. We went to milestones that was attached to the hotel. The food was just okay, not worth the price. Mt salmon was overcooked so it was super chewy.
Stay in an amazing room (2201). It is the only room of its kind in the hotel. Great for large family. Sofa bed downstairs, king bed in loft and two double beds in a seperate room off the loft. Two full bathrooms. Absolutely amazing view of the falls.
Absolutely phenomenal! Outstanding and very pleasant staff. My only suggestion would be for the beds in the handicapped rooms not be so high. Hard to get into. And 5+ stars for the breakfast buffet!!!
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Awesome view of the falls! The hotel does not have the most updated rooms but our room was clean. We came in February for our second year anniversary. The staff helped me plan some surprises for my queen also. The food is not bad here at the restaurant but we liked a place called Zippi's behind the hotel (local pizza and wings spot)
We arrived and requested a room on a high floor. The staff was very accommodating and helpful in fulfilling our request. We had a room with a view of the falls and it was amazing. We particularly liked the fact that one window could be opened slightly so we could hear the falls. We left the window open at night and had a great night's sleep.
The bathrooms were a little dated, but everything was clean and well-maintained. No complaints about the room except that the furniture was very uncomfortable. This has been true of many other Marriott properties. They seem to value style and looks over function and comfort when selecting room furniture.
The property was right across from a bus stop and our hotel package included two 48-hour passes. That was really convenient, though we ended up walking most of the time by choice.
The valet services deserve mention as well. They held our bags while we waited for our room and brought them up promptly after we checked in. When we checked out they started the air conditioning so we could get into a nice cool car. They seemed to genuinely care about our experience.
When im in town this is the only place i stay! Geographically has the best view on the falls and my favorite partvof the stay... The shampoo bottles they leave in your room, not going to spoil the surprise however its amazing almost as great as the service!
Noise of air conditioning was terrible when it came on and off every 15 min. It was not just my issue if you google "Marriott noisy air conditioner Niagara"!! Check air conditioner first. If it is noisy, ask to change your room.
My 8 year old said the lobby staff looked like teenagers, he is right, they are very proffesional and courteous. The rooms are modern contemporary, we got a junior suite, as soon as we open the door of our room, ... holy cr*** what a view... the falls right in your face ... I stared at them for like an hour, didn't want to leave the bedroom, they would have gotten a 4 stars review from me, but they advertise spa masages, they don't have a spa, you have to carry your butt across the street to the other marriot and don't even tell you the other marriot is not related to "on the falls" they called to make my massage appointment " but failed to tell me either bring cash or a credit card because you can't charge it to your room. When I travel, I charge everthing ro the room, this was a very big inconvenience, I got stuck at the other marriot hotel like an idiot not knowing how to pay. The other marriot understood my situation and allowed me to go and come back later.
Came to the falls to use up some vacation time, everyone warned us against going because of coronavirus. Niagara Falls is deserted. I'm sure that there were only 2 couples on our floor. Fallsview room on 15th floor has a fantastic view. Room is very nice, has all you need except for a coffee maker (Starbucks is in lobby). Deeply discounted, under 100 dollars a night. October 26 and 27 2020.
Very decent hotel. Recently renovated rooms. A little difficult with 4 elevators only in these covid times. And some idiots entering the elevator without a mask ...
This is a great hotel! Wonderful staff, especially John when you arrive to check in, he's the best!!! My 2nd year in a row staying here for a holiday party, hope to be back again next year!
Place nickel and dimes you for everything. First found out they want $10 a day to park then found out at check out they charge $5 a bottle for the water that is complementary at every other hotel I've ever stayed at. This made my bill $50 more than expected. Rip off!
Although it was the farthest from Stanley Ave, there was an amazing view of the Falls from the 8th floor. The room was very clean and had all wanted amenities.
This was our first stay at a Marriott brand hotel, and it was quite a good first impression. The renovation of the hotel is extensive, providing a modern look and top-notch feel to our stay. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and prompt. The room was a Falls View on the 16th floor, with an excellent view around the clock. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom spotless, with a very nice, fairly large shower.
We took advantage of the free beer/wine sample at the hotel bar, and had dinner at the Milestone restaurant. The food was great, though the drinks were weak. We also ordered room service for breakfast. Ordering was easy, and it was delivered right on time as requested. It was slightly pricey, but that's to be expected with room service - it was delicious as well.
Onsite parking was easy, though also a little pricey for self-parking at $35 Canadian per day.
Overall, this was a perfect location with a great view, excellent service, and very comfortable accommodations. I only wish the guests in the surrounding rooms were as considerate as the hotel itself. I will certainly stay at another Marriott, and would consider staying here again upon returning to Niagara Falls.
My first time spent a night at Marriott hotel to celebrate my 24th birthday with my best friends here! A really nice staycation !! The family suites is really big and spacious on top of that the view of niagara falls from 27th floor is breathtaking !!! one big king size bed and two queen size bed is super cozy !! on top of that the service is 10 out of 10 !!! Shout out to Vanessa who help us check in really quick and she also help my friends to surprise me!! Thank you Marriott and Vanessa ! it s definitely the best birthday!
Great hotel, service at a very high level, delicious breakfast. View of the waterfalls unique. Close to everywhere and free transfer for guests anywhere via the WeGo line
Very nice property!! Our suite 2 stories room was amazing with spectacular views on the falls from 22 nd floor. We just stay in the room and enjoy it the views day and night!! Strongly recommend to friends and family ti visit Canadian side of the Niagara Falls!!
Room on the 19th floor only insistently despite booking a high floor fallsview room. The cost of the room is rewarded by the magnificent view from the 12th floor upwards. We were satisfied for the room but I can't say that I found courtesy in the staff, rather rude and annoyed by the requests, which sold only for exhaustion and that tried to sell us a very expensive upgrade to the suite before giving us the room on the 19th.
My girlfriends and I stayed here for 1 night for a bachelorette party for one of our girls. We were not entirely satisfied with the service and how they communicate with their guests. The view was great! But could be even better if it was in higher floor. We were happy in that aspect. However, for paying almost $250/night we would think Wi-Fi would be complimentary, but it was NOT!!! Even Holiday Inn Express gets free Wi-Fi in the room! This was not communicated when we checked-in! Then next is we got complaints for being too loud in our room, but they didn't even try to call us and they've already called the police to kick us OUT! We were totally not happy with their way of communication and service! Don't waste your money with this hotel!
Alarm clock woke us up (we didn't set it, a miss by housekeeping) and the breakfast buffet was just ok. Gym was well appointed and had free weights, mats, several options for cardio as well as towel service, filtered water and fresh apples.
Great extras!! Excellent staff, awesome breakfast, clean and comfy bed, amazing view, great bar staff and staff In General. The only thing I can suggest is a better head board.
Excellent view, the room was really clean, it would benefit from a microwave atleast. Downside is that parking is $35 off season and we still couldn't find a spot. I Had to park across the street in a dark sketchy parking lot which sucks especially if it's raining/snowing.
The first room we were checked into stinked! We were switched to another room with no apologies; a room two floors down!! Then I went to starbucks got a coffee and asked for a glass of water, then I was told Marriott owns this starbucks and glasses of water are not offered since Marriott counts the cups and every cup is numbered (I was shown the number underneath the cups!!)... My reservation showed the room I reserved has wifi access and a 37" TV... I tried to connect to wifi and was asked to pay $9.99!! Called the lobby and they explained wifi access doesn't mean wifi is free! Parking fee is $25, and its outside, now you figure it's snowing like crazy here and my car will be covered with ice and snow by the morning, for $25!!!!
There is left over chips in our new room, anyone wants some?
Shame Marriott, shame. I would never ever stay with Marriott, unless over my dead body.
Room was really nice but wasn't ready for over an hour when we checked in. They gave us free breakfast at milestones but didn't tell us it would expire at a certain time. Milestones service was trash. Would not recommend.
We enjoyed family-day getaway with friends, and wonderfully they got upgraded to a fallsview room. Thanks to Raminder at check-in for this and sorting our bills out. Hotel is nice, great views, though pool & hot tub rather crowded but it was family day weekend.
Wanted to have a nice weekend in Niagara so booked this hotel based off of other reviews and pictures online. It was even nicer in person! Newly renovated room with a view couldn't be beat, staff were super friendly, and well now I can't wait to go back!
We were very pleased with our stay. Customer service and waiting staff were superb and accommodating. Specifically we worked a lot with John who was very kind, helpful and welcoming. He really made our stay much better. Karen the assistant manager took pictures for us in their beautiful lobby. The rooms were big clean and modern. I proposed to my girlfriend while we were there and in celebration they upgraded our room and gave us a Bottle of champagne and cheesecake. Next time we come to visit Niagara Falls we are definitely staying at this same hotel. The view of the falls is amazing.
Not usually the hugest fan of big hotel chains but the service at this hotel made our stay very personal and special. From the moment we checked in to the popcorn and pop we received as treats and the nice open concept accommodations with a beautiful falls view and two person bathtub, this hotel was one of the best experiences we've had. You won't regret it.
Beautiful hotel! Amazing customer service Amazing rooms Very clean place and hotel rooms Definitely the better hotel out of the other ones on the street! Better parking rate then the other ones Great location and great view! Definitely somewhere you would want to stay! Thank you for a great stay!!!! Will be back :)
Expect to pay $40 US per night for parking, although you're already paying $400 per night for a room with a view of the falls. Expect a lot of price / tourists gouging in the vicinity of the falls, Canada and USA side. I personally would figure the businesses wouldn't need to indulge in such practices since there's thousands of people who visit per day, rain or shine.
P.S.. Please do not mislead customers by implying that your "general parking", which you charge $40 US per night, is Valet parking. Customers must circle your lots 30 plus minutes before finding parking. Also, because other hotels are "gouging" customers, doesn't mean you should also gouge your customers. You are a respected international brand and shouldn't find the need to also take advantage of your customers, just bc other entities are taking advantage of their customers. Your excuse is moronic.
Yes I did enjoy myself, because I chose to made the most of the experience. A success business would understand, a trivial fee which you may consider to me minute, can cost a business or specific franchise location to go under. For seeing several abandoned and dilapidated hotels in your vicinity, never take customers for granted and think it can't happen to your business. Keep that in mind.
