I've stayed here twice and I'd stay again. The staff ensures that your stay is a happy one. Very kind staff and gorgeous facilities. I've stayed at a lot of Holiday Inns and this one is definitely the most romantic and luxurious. Bonus points for an outdoor hot tub.

5 stars is not enough to rate our experience at this hotel! We arrived late on Friday night and were greated promptly with a friendly smile. Our room was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. The next morning we ran into some car troubles that left us stranded in Canmore with our car dead in the parking lot for the weekend. In every interaction with all of the hotel staff we found ourself being treated with an outstanding amount of care and compassion. The hotel and staff went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and that we could best enjoy our vacation! We will be back soon! Thank you also to Kevin who helped us out so much with our car! You're amazing!

It was our 3rd hotel to stay with and it has the most inconveniences experienced that we had. There was no complimentary breakfast for members. But I thought we could manage without. Then another problem occured when we tried to use the ice bucket but there was a used earbud inside it. We had to skip our ice bucket challenge. Then in the morning couldn't get the keurig working and I know perfectly how to operate it as I have one at home, and room keys keeps getting demagnetized. We left the hotel so unsatisfied.

Place is cute and quiet. Initially the room given to us was not clean, bed not made, food dishes still in the room --- we were given a new room but it only had one bed instead of two doubles which we booked for... By then we were way too tired to switch again. As it was a late check in. Also had to wait 10 mins for some one to come back to the counter from break to check us in.

What a disappointment! The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and the check-in staff were friendly and helpful, but the room was a disaster. The floors were filthy, the bathrooms dusty, and the table was sticky. It looked like it had not been cleaned since the last guest visited. They sent up 2 cleaning staff as soon as we notified the front desk about the problem, but it would have been nice to have had that service about 3 hours prior to out arrival. The amount it cost was too much for that kind of experience. Will not be back.

This hotel needs some renovation
Fitness room doesn t have enough space for exercise
Our room was at 3rd floor and I had to let the hot water run for 2-3 minutes before it gets warm enough for morning shower.
Breakfast quality was average.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I ve had in a while. Our neighbours were up until the wee hours of the morning blasting music and slamming their bodies against our adjoining wall. Despite having to call and complain twice, the loud music and yelling continued and there was no mention of this (or apology) when we checked out. Our breakfast experience was less than stellar, very overpriced for what we received ($13 for four mini waffles that tasted like fish!). We definitely won t be staying here again

Great room, great price, very polite and friendly ...

Great room, great price, very polite and friendly staff willing to assist in any way. Rooms were very spacious though the toilets were very low to the ground. I could be biased being 6'3" but my wife is 5' and fpund it children's size. But no one cares about that. Its a great location so we can avoid the loud crowds in banff.

Would not recommend. 1) Breakfast was included in the advertised price then once breakfast-time came the offer was rescinded and I was asked to pay full price. 2) I booked a queen bed room that contained a full size bed.

Came in late at 10 pm on aug 14 at room 213- wasnt given a king size bed none left they said. Then went for some food -got back at midight then stayed up for a bit and my wife and I were incredibly rudely woken up at 9 am by an insanely loud walkie talkie blaring and a housekeeping woman yelling, banging on doors and vaccuming the room next to us. Checkout is at 11am and the room was 327 dollars. The guests and their stay should be respected until this time and it was a really awful way to be woken up. I, being a trucker have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never been woken up like this, and it was unacceptable. I complained and was offered free breakfast by the manager on duty *J*. I went down and asked for my money for the room back, ive never done that before and I generally dont complain about stuff unless its ridiculously disrespectful. She passed it off as if she did it all the time saying she cant give us the room for free but shell give us the breakfast for free. 327 dollars and it was literally like having someone screaming in your face to wake you up. Thats whats acceptable to that manager. Ive stayed at 70 dollar a night hotels and been treated way better. I ate the free breakfast and informed them ill not be returning to the holiday inn, there such a thing as not just pumping out the rooms, giving guests quality and respect. And their money back when something like that goes down especially considering the price of the room.

Totally unnacceptable, our stay was completely ruined.

This stay was not acceptable. We went to breakfast and there was one other table there, we were told since there was a large group there we had to wait 30 minutes. I called for towels to be delivered in 5 minutes, they said no problem, the towels were not delivered. Our room wasn t made by the time we had came back to the room at 5:30 pm. We called the front desk for 5 minutes with no answer. When they finally answered they said they were busy with other guests. No apology or care for the guests staying there. Would not recommend. Do not stay here if you expect any sort of customer service.

The GM Patrick should be given a award for GM of the year from IHG.

I travel half of the year for work and at home for the other half.

What the Canmore location lacks in its dated decor, and lack of parking, Patrick more than makes up For.

He always goes above and beyond.

One example: This gentleman knew I was coming from Saskatchewan on short notice and had a veggie omelette hot and ready for me upon my arrival.

Absolute world class GM.

Arrived to a freezing cold icebox. The room took an hour or so to warm up. Disappointing and not very welcoming.

There were chips on the floor from a previous guest. Ewww.

The refrigerator froze all our food and drinks the first night. So the second we turned the fridge as low as it would go and everything was still frozen again the next morning.

Rooms are outdated and the wallpaper is literally peeling off the walls. The headboard was damaged and unsightly. They could use a Reno!

I didn t have crazy high expectations for a Holiday Inn but not even the lady at checkout didn t even ask how our stay was. I understand Covid cutbacks but this was disappointing.

Affordable, quiet, and right next to the highway and at a decent price. What more could you want for a weekend getaway to the mountains? Only thing that would make it better would be a pool and a little improvement to the food served at the restaurant. Serve fresh berries with your breakfast not frozen and microwaved piping hot strawberries.

I returned from downtown Canmore to find out my room key didn't work, after having the issue apparently addressed with front desk, I tried again to no avail. Back at front desk there was a sign that read back in five minutes, I waited, and was issued another key which finally worked. No apology for the inconvenience which surprised me as this is not the kind of customer service I would have expected from a holiday inn. Disappointing.

Not great service! I haven't even been there yet but I wanted to make reservations but if I have to call 4 times and still not get a person on the other side of the phone, says alot about the whole hotel. I'm not trying to come off mean but you lose customers like that.

So far a disappointing outing...I think holiday inn really dropped the ball on this facility..the outside has the canmore/mountainish look..but the rest of the place is just a run of the mill two queen bed hotel that you would see anywhere...just regular nice

What a disappointing Hotel. The management and front desk personnel are extremely rude, obnoxious and belittling. Leah Brown should learn some people skills, especially during these times. I ve paid for my reservations (2 rooms by the way) online, even showing and emailing her my confirmation of the payment and reservation #, she wouldn t let us check in. Rude and condescending towards me and my family in front of a lobby full of people. I travel lots and this hotel need lots of management skills and training. Definitely will not recommend this location unless management changes

We had the two story loft suite with the spa tub; safe to say that we will always go back! Front desk staff was GREAT; the room was clean and we barely heard traffic through the hallways.
The in-house restaurant leaves some to be desired as service was not prompt but they had only just reopened for dine in service. Hopefully next time we go back the service will be better.

After I canceled my hotel reservation - a high-pressure salesperson from HICV Vacation Package was put on the line, which promised a great deal on some Las Vegas hotels and assured me that the deal is legitimate and will follow-up through an email confirmation. No offer details were ever sent to my email - none to be found in my spam folder. When I call back HICV Vacation - there is an initial automated greeting - and after a wait, my call is disconnected.

Typically a IHG specifically holiday inn are nice quality hotels, but in this case it seems that covid was an excuse to cut any type of quality that normally one expects to see in a hotel like this.

We did not receive house keeping once in our entire four night stay. Four nights with four people things start to get cluttered and messy. We were told every day that they will be put on a house keeping list for the next day. The following day when we did not receive house keeping we were told we are on the list. Finally the last night we were told cause of covid there was no house keeping.

Our stay included breakfast for the first two days was at the restaurant then the last two was a bagged breakfast with barely thawed egg muffins and a banana. If a decent quality can't be provided they should simply not provide it.

I will stay at a holiday inn again however I will think twice about this specific one.

Filthy rooms, was put in a room that hadn t been cleaned from previous guest. The room they switched me to after was barely any better, only difference was the bed was made.. new sheets or not was questionable. Thick dust on night stands, clearly hadn t been wiped as well. Do not recommend

Very nice hotel. Beds are comfortable, pillows on the bed are firm and soft the pillow cases tell you which you are sleeping on.
The rooms are clean and roomy, bathroom is clean. They have a tv, bar fridge, microwave and a keurig coffee maker.
The hotel offers a hot tub, gym, restaurant and business area.
Very nice.

Very nice rooms. Very quiet fridge in the room so once a convinced ourselves it was actually running that was very nice. Good water pressure in the shower. A little noise from the hallways but that was more other guest issues than the hotel's. Nice sitting area by the elevators on each floor where a hung out with others of our trip. Might suggest you request a room in the front since the idling tour bus was a little annoying in the morning.

My stay in this hotel was very comfortable. The room was clean and stocked. Shopping centers were conveniently close to the hotel. The hotel was surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was great but the heater was inconsistent...

The room was great but the heater was inconsistent in temperature. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and modern. I like that the bed is in a separate room from the living space. The hotel is close to the highway but wasn't really walking distance to anything. We would stay there again as it's only a 10 minute drive from Banff.

Unlike others experiences, I found my room to be super clean. Only weird thing was handprints on the headboard that I couldn't clean off. I don't think this was a housecleaning issue though because again I couldn't wipe them off myself. Hopefully came from when the bed was assembled... lol. Don't expect complimentary breakfast, feel the huge drop in the hotels prices reflect that. Got to support an awesome local buisness instead. The blonde worker at the front was friendly
