The friendly staff and the Niagara Falls is a great hotel to admire the beautiful scenery. It is an old hotel, but the facilities are clean and nice because I am well remodeled. City view rooms are not bad either. The room is really wide ~

You can go for the Niagara Falls view, but it's a good hotel just off the street. Hotel concierge is not bad, and guest room condition is well managed. I would like to give 5 stars because it is much better than other hotels.
Picked out a falls view room (paid a higher price for it) for my husband and I only to spend 4 hours driving to get there and realize that our room is different. We went down to the front desk to complain and the lady offered us a refund which made zero sense as we drove there. They compensated by giving us free parking but were not willing to give us the room that we A) paid for and B) were promised. Not very happy with my experience here.
Beware of the PF (promotional fee) which is added to everything you purchase at the hotel (roomservice, hotel stay, Starbucks, Milestones, gift shop). It is automatically added, but you can ask for them to take it off your bill.
We stayed here for two nights. The room and bathroom were clean but we had a leak in our sink, the plumber came right up though he couldn't fix it that day because the whole faucet needed replacing. We has a waterfall view and it really was amazing. The fireworks were not as close as I thought they were going to be, so that was really unimpressive. There was no breakfast included in the price of the room, which I knew. However the price of the breakfast buffet was so unbelievable . $20 for each adult and $10 for children. We paid $70 for breakfast for our family of four, when our hotel room costs $300 a night. It seemed ridiculous to me. And the food was more like what you'd find in a cheap hotel that you'd would stay in while passing through one state to get to someplace better. Dry overcooked eggs, funky tasting sausage. The waffles tasted too wierd to eat, and I didn't think there was such a thing. The bowls for the cereal were ALL dirty. My son couldn't eat the pineapple cause it was rock hard. We did even bother going to dinner or lunch at their Milestones grill even though they gave us a $25 gift card to it. That probably wouldn't even have scratched the surface. On another note, the wireless internet was an extra $10 and was so slow or non-existent we could barely use it. I don't think we would go back here if we visited the falls again.
Spectacular huge room overlooking the falls. Being on a honeymoon the package included the upgrade of the room but it was really worth it, given the breathtaking sunset.
The room itself was really nice. However, we had the lovely experience of having the fire alarm go off at 1am (with a 16 month old child). This, in and of itself, isn t a huge issue. However, the response (or lack thereof) of the staff was appalling. The front desk clerk ignored my request to know WHAT was actually going on (was it an actual fire? False alarm? Burnt popcorn?) A somewhat confused member of the janitorial staff let us know that it was just an alarm set off by someone on our floor. (Then proceeded to keep mopping the floor...). About 30 minutes later, someone from the staff showed up in the lobby to let us know that there was an issue with our fire alarm in the room. Then proceeded to tell us that there was no one there to fix it, so the fire alarm was removed from our hotel room. That meant that we were sent back to a room with an infant and without a functional fire alarm. Word to those considering this place- 1. Your fire alarm may or may not work. If you don t care about the possibility of a room fire, then proceed to stay here. 2. If you have an infant or child that doesn t handle sleep disturbances, you may want to reconsider your stay here. After this experience, I am genuinely concerned for the safety of my family in a Marriott room. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, but not sure if I am willing to accept that risk again.
Great location, fantastic view from our room (fallsview, superior floor), kind and friendly staff, clean place, very comfortable beds (slept like a baby!), reasonable rates. Highly recommend! ;)
Amazing service by all. Went in to ask to use a restroom but was treated like a guest insead. Stayed inside the lobby as it was cold outside and was invited to stay to watch the fireworks by the staff.
Super comfy beds and the falls view room was 100% worthwhile. Reception staff were friendly and the bar's Niagara charcuterie (paired with prosecco) was delish!
The rooms were okay, but for the money you just expect a bit more cleanliness. The windows were very dirty, so you could not take pictures. In addition, it was not cleaned properly, so we were very disappointed by the stay.
Had a few minor issues. First one was the 24th floor view is of a rooftop attached to the building. Not the biggest issue but still an eye sore. Next the jacuzzi tub had jets that seemed to be on 10 min timers. All 3 times we used the tubs it happened. Hope we didn't just get the one that was broken. We also had asked for more cream and sugar for our coffees/tea. They forgot. $20 for a slice of cheese cake, plus tip . Other than that. Room looked really nice. View was amazing after being upgraded to the 28th floor and my girlfriend had a great birthday
Rooms were clean and recently renovated. Breakfast buffet was great. Having milestones inside is a plus. Elevators were terrible, ended up waiting over 10 minutes every time we needed an elevator throughout our stay. Would suggest requesting a lower level so you can run up the stairs quick.
It is only free WiFi once you buy it. When in the room there is a free WiFi option. Which at no point mentions that you may need to pay money. Once I was told that I needed to pay for the WiFi they explained that it is only free if you buy the amenities package. So be warned that it is only free once you pay for it. I don't appreciate being tricked into paying money.
Customer service was great! The staff were helpful and always had a smile on their face. Anytime I would walk past an employee they would greet you with a smile. It made the environment very welcoming to stay in.
Great visit, had our room upgraded free of charge with in room wifi, my wife got roses, chocolates and champagne for Valentine's.
The steak at the hotel restaurant milestones was fantastic and my wife got the prime rib which was also fantastic. Our room had a jacuzzi tub and falls view with floor to ceiling windows. We had breakfast too at milestones and it was very good and came free with our package deal.
Very good experience. Only downside of our trip is the extremely overpriced coffees at Starbucks (about double what it would cost at any other Starbucks)
Positive Point: Clean, Renovated and Modern Rooms, Close to the Falls, Friendly Service, Full (Pool, Bar and Restore) and Advantage for Gold and Elite Members.
Negative Point: There is only one pool.
Conclusion: A quality hotel with an affordable price close to the falls. If you are planning to visit Niagara Falls, I suggest you take this hotel.
I recently attended this location for a conference. The rooms and hotel were very clean and comfortable. The staff were engaging and responsive. The location is fantastic with a beautiful view of the falls. Great Service at the Milestones restaurant which is attached. Thank you.
Nice views of the falls, pretty good customer service, bar and restaurant times are a little fishy seems to be open and closed on a whim. But the rooms with views are pretty great.
As soon as we walked in, my wife wished that she'd booked 2 nights instead of one. The only complaint I could think of was that we were on the opposite side of the building from the view of the falls, but half the building faces that way.
Had an enjoyable overnight stay at this hotel. Our room was very nicely decorated and was, most importantly, CLEAN. We had dinner in the Milestone's located in the hotel and enjoyed it very much. We plan on returning.
The hotel was awesome but the city of Niagara Falls N.Y to Really a dump . There were 2 murders in the Niagara Falls N.Y when we were there . We felt very unsafe to leave the hotel . Save your money and don't come to Niagara Falls N.Y it's to dangerous
Good location, staff good especially the woman at the concierge lounge. Check in was problematic failing to provide concierge lounge the lounge has minimalistic amenities which is surprisingly for a Marriott. Has a minimal, basic breakfast lacking meats of any type and what appeared to be powdered scramble eggs and charges for anything alcoholic. Parking fee of $29 plus taxes coming to about $35 per day is clearly OVER PRICED and taking advantage of the guests!!!!!!
We stayed at the hotel for a week and were not able to get clean linens the entire stay, there were spiderwebs from the ceiling to the lamps on each corner we even came across some ladybugs. We arrived to find a coffee maker on the floor outside of the room which remained there till the next day.
The Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls have super friendly and helpful staff. We were impressed with the speed and friendliness of the reception, housekeeping etc.
Our weekend at the hotel - to celebrate our wedding anniversary was made extra special by an upgrade and a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy in an adorable evening window falls illumination and a lovely bath!
The rooms on some websites may well seem complicated - we found it a nightmare to match the room with the bathrooms but the renovated rooms like ours had a lovely bathroom!
We did notice in the shower room wasn t as clean as you d expect - but - I ve seen worse in a hotel!
The bed was awesome - so comfy!!
The view for sure is the winning factor - totally recommend window viewing of the illuminations!
Download UberEats and eat with that view - most meals in the falls seems to end up at the same price - oddly!!
The pool was very quiet (COVID-19 and all).
The elevator in the morning is hard work to catch! (The lobby could do with an update and certainly a clean- the elevator lighting were kinda dirty!!! )
But - all in all - awesomeness! Thank you!
** There was a bizarre tray that spent the whole evening outside our room and was there on arrival?
For the high price, they charge everything as extras and very bad information about the services they have, the rooms very good and clean and the view of the spectacular falls.
The hotel is clean and contemporary. I had a problem with my booking, I was promised things that did not show on my booking, but Dinesh was quick to make things right. That staff were all pleasant and helpful. We were there for New Years Eve and attended the party in the lounge. They did a fantastic job and we had a great time. Shout out to Madison the bartender, the bar was packed but she always had a smile and you never seemed to have to wait. Overall we had a excellent experience.
ok so you deserve a 6, i only gave a 5 due to construction at the time. best over night pit stop on the way to Toronto. Canadian side of the Falls beats U.S. every day.
A little confusing at first as there are two separate buildings, bit definitely not a disappointment. From the staff, (John was great), to the view, everything I could ask for!
Since the recent face-lift that this hotel has gone through makes it that much better, service is knowledgeable and quick, unfortunately the parking is still charged separately even if your staying at the hotel and have paid 340$ a night
Be aware of a hotel's service charges for everything. It's not avoidable and you will know about it after making a reservation and receiving your invoice. This is one of the reasons why I refused spending more money in the hotel.
Nice clean rooms with good views if you are able to get fall view. None available while we were there. We had view of parking lots. Dining room has good food, with helpful servers. Elevators were extremely slow, not all of them working.
We wanted to see the Niagara falls day and night without trembling in the March weather and sprinkling waters. The Marriott Gateway on the Falls was a good choice. The receptionist was very kind and professional. We had a great view of the falls on 27th floor. As expected, we could enjoy the great view of the falls day and night. The hotel also had an indoor pool. My kids enjoyed swimming there. Overall experience was good for my family. We had a comfort stay.
