Marriott Mountainside Resort Review

Great resort. A lot to do right around the hotel and the rooms are very clean and well kept.

KC the manager is the man! My wife and I love coming to this specific location for our quick getaways. We had a fun weekend planned, however last minute my wife has some medical emergencies and without even blinking an eye KC took care of us and helped us get our last minute changes taken care of. You already had loyal customer, but now you have a loyal customer for life and we will never stay anywhere else when we come to Park City.

Great deal to travel to mountainside in the off season, but the town is a ghost town

They have the best pool and hot tubs! Play area for kids and families. I recommend going in winter or summer. Off-season is a bit of a ghostown. They overcharged my card refunded within 10 days.

My family and I love this place. We've been coming for many years. It literally opens out onto the slopes and they have amazing hot tubs. I do have to say that the new furniture is incredibly uncomfortable. I don't know who was in charge of that but they made a bad call. It's a new age style and it looks nice but it is not nice to sit on. Besides that, this the best resort around.

There were tons of amenities, a great pool (water temp was perfect) hot tubs, fire pits, etc. It's a fantastic place to be.

Great, great location when it comes to ski... however... considering the expense of this locale, the rooms are dated with lots of old, overused furniture and appliances. This place needs a throughout renovation badly, even though it is one of Marriotts premier properties it does not feel that upscale at all, there aren't even robes to go to their magnificent pool and hot tubes... As a said before, best location to ski in and out but don't expect an upscale ambiance or facilities

We had a great stay here. Wish it was longer. The bed was very comfortable and we liked that there was a washer and dryer in the room. Will stay here again next time in Park City.

The mattresses cover was torn& the kitchen chairs were dirty & worn thru on the corners. The giesty relations desk was very helpful

Great location adjacent to the slopes and the Adventure Park that includes ziplines, Mountain Coaster, ski lifts, Alpine Slide, trampolines, etc. And the resort itself has everything you can imagine for adults and kids of all ages. Parking garage with another garage for overflow. Just a mile or so from downtown.

Look, if you're traveling with kids, save yourself a lot of grief and find a hotel room with a built in kitchen and living room! The Marriott Mountainside is perfect for family trips. The two-room suite meant the kids got their own room, and we parents could hide in our bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools and appliances, so we could make coffee, eat breakfast and dinner there, have a glass of wine in the evening, and save a ton of money on eating out. There's a kids play area with video games and craft stuff, and the pool and many hot tubs are perfect for relaxing. Only downside: the concierges are less about being helpful, and more about selling you timeshares. The rest of the team was great, though, making this a perfect place to stay for our family.

My husband and I booked a 3 night trip to Park City through a vacation package with another major hotel brand, but we decided to fly in early and stay at the Marriott MountainSide after we found a great one night deal on Priceline. Our one bedroom suite was AMAZING. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, stand up glass shower and separate garden tub, two vanities, a dining and living room area with a fireplace. Perfect location to rentals, the ski lifts, coffee shops and main street. We were spoiled with our one night stay and we were so sad to move to the Hilton where we were HIGHLY disappointed. We learned our lesson though - become Marriott Rewards members vs other hotel chains. 10/10 recommend Marriott MountainSide.

Clean rooms, very nice amenities and close to attractions.

Convenient has not met the Marriott Mountain side. If it had, the Mountain side would become the new deffinition.

I loved the location of this Marriott, just wasn't overly impressed with the service. They were friendly and all, but there was never enough parking for all of the vehicles. Not that it matters all that much, but the staff didn't acknowledge our Marriott membership and was not as fluent in English as they probably should have been.

I have been coming here every year for the past 20 years and enjoying a happy time with my family.

Lot of fun activities but needs less pool partys and what ever swim social l don't remember the name of it.

Their rooms are even better than your VIEWS, which are SPECTACULAR! I will definitely be staying here again! Nice weekend getaway with reasonable rates!

Arrived to MountainSide with family for a stay, been to this locatiom before and never had any complaints. Lots of activites for kids and adults, rooms are functinal and provide many accommodations for living, staff is friendly and great!

We go here every 2 years as a family and my family loves every minute of it!

Very comfortable and convenient. Right on the bus line as well

Ski in ski out the only problem is not much in restaurants you have to go down to Main Street Summit watch or be a better choice and take the town lift

Great when traveling with kids. Nice pool, lots of fun activities scheduled for kids.

Rooms have been recently updated, but could use better maintenance. The parking can be frustrating. We have two rooms, but only got one invite parking pass, so our guests had to park a quarter mile away (and it is a poorly lit walk). The pool is nice and there are lots of hot tubs. The kid areas looked like they would be fun.

Beautiful scenery, staff was accommodating but they were painting the whole 3rd floor and it lost its touch of grandeur with the paint smell and workers..

My family stayed here for a week in May of 2017. We were scheduled to stay at the Summit Watch which is where we usually stay but the pool was under construction so we switched to Mountainside because we love to swim. I was really disappointed when we arrived to hear that the pool was closed and only the hot tubs were available. I'm sure the attendant could see the frustration on my face as we left the front desk to go to our room. After settling in there was a knock at the door and it was a member of the staff with a huge ice cream basket with a really nice note apologizing for the inconvenience. I thought it was a very nice gesture. We had a wonderful week and probably prefer the Mountainside now.

We adore Marriott mountainside! There are so many fun activities for adults and kids alike. The pool is fantastic and the views are beautiful. The beds are really comfortable too!

The room was amazing with lots of space. Loved the bathtub as well.

We love the Marriott MontainSide. The best part is the amazing outdoor pool that is warm enough to swim in even when it's snowing and there a several hot tubs so they are never crowded.

Spacious rooms. Very nice pool. Friendly staff. Everything you'd want to relax. Right on the ski mountain in winter and Alpine slide in summer. Perfect location.

We stay here pretty frequently and love the Mountainside! It is an awesome if you have children. The rooms are great and we have enjoyed each trip up here.

We are regular guests at Marriott's Mountainside. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the rooms are quite homey. They recently went through renovations, and personally didn't like most of the changes. The chairs and couches are more stiff and not very comfortable. The dining chairs are also very heavy and hard to move. Still very pleased with the hotel, staff, and the beds are comfortable.

Fantastic resort. Great location and very pleasant accommodations. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Park City.

Loved everything about this hotel except the staff is very rude if you arent wearing your bracelet and the gameroom is dirty and only half the things work. When the pool is overcrowded all the time, it is important these things work for othwr entertainment at night.

Awesome resort in a great location! The staff was very accommodating and were prompt at every turn.

Just checked in today and so far this place does not have good customer service. We purposely were in contact with managemen over a month prior to coming up with friends, who were going to stay in a spectate room. We kept in communication to try and ensure our rooms could be across the hall from each other. Upon checking in, which we were 3 hours early on purpose, the manager working today was extremely rude, short spoken and didn't try to help us with our dilemma. She stated that the room she put us in was extremely close in person than on the map she showed us; so we went with it. Upon getting up to our room, it was 9 doors down from where we wanted to be. I'm seriously thinking this manager was high on glue. The proximity was more accurate on paper than in real life. Who cares that the resort is nice. When you have crappy customer service, it's super disappointing. Maybe the stay will get better.

We just got back from a family vacation! This hotel was absolutely wonderful!! Clean, large room, beautiful pool, movie theatre, kids play room. It was very right outside the ski mountain. Shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. I would HIGHLY recommend this for families!

Great Marriott Timeshare. It couldn't be better, after all it's a Marriott. Rooms are great, absolutely spotlessly clean, gym and outside pool areas at very good. Reception was great. You'll enjoy your stay in summer or winter.

Yeah, the HDTVs in the living room with the gas fireplace. Fantastic.

Lots of entertainment. The ski/snowboard valet was incredible convenient. Lots of hot tubs for after skiing as well !

Great hotel, you can ski right to it from the slopes. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi as well.

I was not impressed with my stay here. The pros were: hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. The beds were more comfortable than most of the marriotts. I ve stayed 75 Marriott nights this year and the staff was very underwhelming and almost rude at this location. If you don t care about the staff and customer service experience, you ll like this hotel. They could care less that I was a premier platinum elite member and refused to upgrade my room even though this was obviously a very slow time of the year to visit that hotel. They told me I had a mountainside room which was actually a view of a parking lot and one hill with nothing on it. It was laughable to call it a mountainside view . Next time I think I ll go stay at the half price Hilton s to get a better customer service experience. Very underwhelming as a category 6 hotel.

Recently renovated, great location with plenty of activities in walking distance. Only set back is underground parking is often full so the hotel shuttles from a very distant parking garage.

Loved our stay here. Parking can be a little rough so we just left our car in the garage and used the free public transportation. Very quiet hotel with clean rooms. It was our 25th anniversary and someone delivered some nice little gifts to us with a personal card, very sweet! I believe it was Kristen and the "front desk team", thanks! We will be back.

It was a pleasure to stay at Marriot Mountainside. The window had a wonderful view of the mountain, and the bedroom and bathroom were kept very clean. The room was stocked with a lot of towels, and had a comfortable queen size bed, with the option of pulling out a bed from the couch.

I have come here many times and I love coming. The service is always very good. The rooms are very clean and beautiful with good views of the mountains.

Rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. Staff is absolutely WONDERFUL with kids. No, like seriously, they will keep your kids entertained if you have the need. They have a variety of planned activities ready. And if course, it's a stone's throw from the main ski lift.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located during ski season. Off season it's a little desolate.

Great to be right on the mountain and being able to walk out right onto the ski slopes. Also to have great hot tubs right next to the slopes is amazing. Can have a lot of families around so less adult events.

We love this place. Amy was awesome. We love the updated decor. The pool is awesome the hot tubs are hot the mattresses are comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Oh kids really enjoy the mine which is the kids club they really enjoy the gym. This is a great getaway and highly recommend staying here

Enjoying my $8 coffee with powdered creamer. This is a motel 6 level place but very expensive.

Beautiful resort, with lots of great things to do. Excellent place to bring your kids. The pool and hot tubs are really great and if you were here in the winter, it would be an incredible place to stay and go skiing.

You re very close to downtown Park City where there are lots of good restaurants and fun shops.

I highly recommend staying here!
