I am an electrician and I was contracted for a job on the last floor of the garage. I can not comment on the rooms but the people working there look hamable

I had to switch room because the first room had something that look like blood on the bathroom wall and then i hot charged for some things i didnt but a d i had trouble with the parking ticket. I was not happy at all!!
Everything was great! Rooms are confortable, good price for what you receive, staff serviceable, good overall.
I was not surprised at the service and the room was clean no trying odor, recommend to stay with Marriott
The staff at the lobby were really helpful and accommodating. The room with a king size bed was spacious and clean.
Great place to host your event. The rooms are nice but they aren't awe inspiring. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Overall amazing service while attending the 2017 TAGA conference in Houston. The staff are professional and courteous, the rooms are clean, and the complementary shuttle service is fantastic!
Location was packed it was noon and everybody was in lunch I guess
Nice conference room. Clean hotel. Good good but overpriced
The staff is the best. From Stacia to Amanda they do a great job.
There service was standard, not bad. The rooms were outdated, especially for the price. The room vibe felt like a hotel in the 90's.
I went to a professional event at this hotel. The event was in one of the rooms. There were people from human resources of different companies. The bathrooms were clean.
At least Hilton is happy. The manager, finance director and accountant at the Marriott West Loop ensured that I will never stay with them again. For weeks [now over a month] they refused to return my calls or answer my inquiries about a cancellation fee they charged me from a reservation made Tuesday night, cancelled 7 hours later on Wednesday morning for a Thursday night stay. I called the hotel and Marriott customer service for weeks and never got any response. After spending 17 nights in a Marriott hotel in the 1st 2 months of 2020, I will do my very best to never stay in one again. Hilton is happy to talk with me.
Outside and lobby of this hotel looks nice but once you get upstairs to the rooms, its very outdated. Paint chipping on the wall. Shower head was barely hanging on to the shower wall. Employee named Ebay is very rude and needs to be fired because he obviously doesn't appreciate having a job in this pandemic where so many are unemployed. He overtalked me while speaking to him about my room. He pointed his finger at me while continuing to scream as if I wasn't a paying customer. The lady who's over in the area where you buy coffee in the lobby of the hotel is rude. We asked her what food options they had to eat for breakfast and she just pointed at a piece of paper. Never spoke nor greeted us. Customer service here also needs remodeling along with the rooms. The actual area (meaning all the restaurants around the hotel) of the hotel is nice but I would suggest staying at a different hotel in the area because this one is not that great.
my daughter had a wedding to attend to for her in-laws I was babysitting my grandson in one of the rooms the walls are so paper like I was so hard for me to put him to sleep it was just a very loud environment I would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay from out of town
Wasn't there for an extended amount of time. It wouldn't be fair for me to try and give an honest evaluation
Had to request clean linen 3 times before it was delivered
ONLY giving the 1 star because you have to in order to post your review. Should be a minus star!!
HORRIBLE Customer service!!
They charged me $24 for parking when I didn't even park there, we used an Uber!! REFUSED to credit my bank account back even AFTER speaking to corporate office?! Very disrespectful and rude attitude.
WAY to many other hotels in the area to stay at that ARE nicer. I expected much better treatment for a frequent rewards patron. Will NEVER stay here again! WORST Marriott ever!
They always show lots of love to my family here. We stay here everytime we come to Houston.
Mold, and bed bugs!!!!!!!!!
Dont stay here
It seems to me a very expensive hotel to also charge the use of the internet separately
This property is very nice. It seems well managed, and provides the guest with a comfortable experience. The matress was phenomonal. The elevators are lightning fast. I appreciated the in room safe. Only gripe was the architectural layout of the hotel. It is connected to another business tower, and getting from the parking garage to the hotel was confusing the first few times. Also had used the Marriott App to request some items, but they were never delivered. Other than that, I would recommend this property for those needing lodging for a night or two.
Nice rooms, had a pleasant stay. Please note, the breakfast buffet is part of the restaurant and they charge $20 per person! Parking was a bit nerve racking with a big truck (2017 RAM Big Horn) as the garage ceilings are somewhat close and manuverability can be tricky with a longer vehicle.
Front desk people are drones. No enthusiasm and no customer service skills.
Great stay and a very reasonnable cost. Great breakfast buffet. Perfect for my business trips.
Comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff and located great for downtown access
The hotel is nice and clean. However you have to pay for everything... Self parking is $24 a day which was a surprise to me. Parking is free everywhere around the hotel! Free wifi is only available in the lobby. In-room wifi is $10.95 - 16.95 a day depending on the speed. You can sign up for Marriott membership for free wifi.
I stay here every other week. Great property and even better people
Amazing staff , they went above and beyond to ensure our very large group 100+ had a amazing stay
Went to a company meeting and they good pretty good food.
Nice Marriott overall. Staff was great, the rooms were a bit small but not bad. The concierge lounge breakfast was decent. No negatives. Solid property.
Hotel is very good. Unfortunately i left an item in the room and days after the check out they contacted me to get my information and return it. I sent my information and also contacted them. After several weeks of their lack of response i called again and learned that they no longer have it because it was not claimed and it was donated. I am very disappointed with the Customer Service employees.
Solid but housekeeping didn't tidy my room one night
Service in the lobby was not friendly or accommodating
It's a beautiful hotel in a good area. We had a great time,! However, I PRE-PAID for my room through Priceline (got a GREAT rate) and after checking in and confirming with the front desk employee that it was paid in full and providing credit card for incidentals, I got an e-mail alert indicating that they charged my credit card almost $400. I spoke the the manager, he apologized for the error, stated that the front desk employee "made a mistake", and (hopefully) reversed the charge. Then, upon checkout I asked for a paper receipt to ensure the charge was not there. I got it, no charges were made on my card. About an hour AFTER I checked out, I got another e-mail alert that the hotel had changed my credit card almost $300!! I was on the way home and called the hotel, finally got hold of the manager who initially could not find the charge. She finally found it and said the person who checked me out "made a mistake" and charged me for the room (AGAIN)!! BOTH employees who made "mistakes" verbally confirmed with me that the room was PRE-PAID in full!! Neither of them ever gave me an opportunity to approve any charges or sign anything. If I didn't have the alert set up to get an e-mail when my credit card was used, this hotel would have stolen almost $700 from me!!! I could understand ONE employee making a "mistake", but twice in two days feels a little like systemic larceny!!!! I still don't know for sure if the charges were reversed, as that takes a few days, but I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I can't imagine how many people who don't closely monitor their credit card charges are being ripped off by them!!!!
EXTREMELY outdated and overpriced! Rude front desk to go along as well.
Good location, comfortable beds. Bathrooms are dated. Water (shower) wasn't hot, just luke warm, but that was around 7 in the morning, might be different depending on the time. Not awesome, not bad, just ok.
Very nice, I enjoy the restaurant, the staff is very friendly. The coffee was not that good.
Service is fantastic, very attentive to my needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The hosts were super friendly. It was a very nice, clean hotel. My only complaint is that the wifi isn't free. For the price of the room, they could definitely swing for free wifi.
The main lobby and restaurant/lounge area is beautifully modern. Great drinks and food at the attached restaurant. Ivy the supervisor in training was very cordial and passionate about hospitality. Would recommend this location. Also, it's great location near Rice University and quick 15 minute drive to downtown Houston.
Perfect location and the king bed in one of our rooms was comfortable but the double beds in additional room were not. Great gathering area down stairs was perfect for our evening gathering. Very impressed with the effort the vallet service went to for us. We had a large group in town for a memorial service with grandchildren, family and friends. I appreciate the facility and will return soon.
Decent hotel but a bit overpriced. Parking charge is ridiculous. Concierge lounge food in the evening is poor, a little better in the morning.
Upscale accomodations, well located, very friendly staff.
Room was very small. Bed was ok. No breakfast included.
Old facility. Looking a bit tired. The rooms are ample. The conciergelevel is a little inadequate though. Yhe proximity to our head offices and the covienience of the Galleria make up for the other shortcomings.
Pleasant smell and clean. I want there long enough to pay attention to anything else.
The hotel location was good. The appearance was good on the outside. The room had chipped paint on doors. Yellow stains on the white wall and the tub didn't drain
The staff was very helpful in adding us in a successful event for students and their families.
Hotel is a little dated. Other wise it's what you can expect from a Marriot property.
Pretty mediocre, considering it is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I unexpectedly had to pay 24 dollars for parking. The room had a tiny bathroom that wasn't tiled with a shower head barely six feet high.
This Marriott offered a convenient location to nearby attractions. Although we have no complaints and had a nice stay, we have stayed at nicer Marriott's. There was also a very slight smell in the room. Nothing terrible, but something you noticed upon entering the room, but you quickly lost notice of it. That being said, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable stay and for the rate we paid, I was satisfied.
The Marriott West Loop by the Galleria was the venue for my 55th high school reunion and it was a wonderful choice. The restaurant in the hotel served delicious menu choices... such as BBQ brisket stuffed sweet potato which was outstanding! The dinner served at the reunion was either a steak or chicken entree served first with a lovely salad and vegetable along with tea and a delicious dessert offering! We were in the lovely Glass Palace which was a neat room with a view! Set up beautifully.. and we were provided with a wonderful hospitality room the entire weekend. From the bellman & parking attendant to the check-in & check-out went extremely well. They offer discounts for groups & do charge for parking but as a group you get a discount on it also. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a yogurt parfait which was really good.
As hotels go they look a bit only the older side but everything was well maintained and the staff really nice and accommodating.
Professional customer service for a small hotel. Very kind employees.
It was messy location 7 to 10 years ago, like many hoteps of houston area is renovated few years ago. The entrance etc, right now fairly better and fancy. It is not, like double three next to lake wood church but thats ok!
Excellent hotel but rooms are still small, updated nicely however. Staff is top notch.
I was really only in the lobby and that seemed well kept and clean.
This is a fine property with lots of meeting rooms for conferences.
