Great location, and staff service was excellent for a recent wedding reception I attended there!

Love the hotel but there is not much to do around. This is my first time visiting Kansas City, MO. Although, I found the hotel to be nice and cozy the location does not give you anything. Not too much exploring to do unless you walk two blocks and then you are going to start seeing restaurant, pubs and cafeterias. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice.

Nice. Central location. Comfy beds. A bit pricey. Nothing complimentary, ie morning coffee in the lobby.

Marriott hotel located in the downtown KC. Hotel is oil bit crowded at the lobby area. Parking is located on two different level and the entrance out of parking is located just outside the lobby area. Not the greatest setting but at least it is covered. It is a common place for conferences and events. Valet parking is available on site along with self park.

Completely remodeled hotel. Very nice and high tech.

The service is great and the location is a great area. Very close to the convention center.

Arrived for a convention at 10am no room, was told check in was 3pm came back at 3pm no room, told to check back - how long I asked, how often do I check back? No answer - 5:10pm I check again ; no room ; I again ask, will you notify me ; no they won t , I just have to get in line ( very large ) and check again. Extremely poor organization, mismanagement no communication. I would not recommend having large group events here as it s clear they can t handle the volume. PS - not even an apology at this stage,

I didn't stay at the hotel, just just meeting family. Hotel was clean and the employees seemed helpful. A very nice hotel, I'd say.

Wow this hotel is huge. It was a very nice stay. Paying $18 to park for two days was a bit ridiculous but it was otherwise very nice.

Very clean, great amenities, good service and good food. Very good for a professional event!

The pool was closed for maintenance which was not anywhere in my notifications, nor on the website. We will be here for a week so this is a huge inconvenience. My room had hardly any storage. They put us in Muelbach tower "newly redone" which apparently means "upscale non efficient furniture". The refrigerator wasn't working, and was replaced with another that wasn't working. All my food went bad because they were too ignorant to switch the control nob to 5 on the back of the fridge. I wasn't compensated for any of these inconveniences.

I was outside the hotel to look at the beautiful lights on the hotel and chat with a friend.

I went for a conference. The layout is fairly complicated but the staff was super friendly and helped me navigate the place.

Very good place to stay quiet clean you can get good views of the city of Kansas

Great staff super place for an event. Food options were great for the large groups.

Apparently this hotel allows random outside vendors to enter your room late at night and leave their advertisement material. My husband and I left for dinner and when we returned, we found one advertisement slipped under the door (completely acceptable), and one advertisement on our bed (NOT acceptable)! Hotel management said because we didn't place the "do not disturb" sign on our door, they are allowed to enter our room and place ads. Had I known our room was going to be entered late at night for advertising dog formula??? I would have hung the sign out, and put away my purse. I'm ok with the hotel coming in for an issue, but to leave ad material? Why is slipping it under the door, like one was, not enough? You seriously have to be kidding! Does Marriott need money that bad, they have to sell out customer privacy? Shame on you Marriott for allowing this, it has cost you a customer for life! Management at this place could care less, very sad.

An amazing atmosphere the head of security is a great man they go above and beyond what's necessary.

Social distancing rules were adhered too. Everything was - and felt sanitized. Definitely one of the best hotels in KCMO

I am in town for the the AP Reading. I was placed at a different hotel, buy most of my colleagues are at the Marriott, so I've spent a few evenings at the social lounge there. It was the right volume, and truly an enjoyable experience... I do wish they had WiFi for guests at the bar though!

I've stayed here multiple times. Good clean hotel, plenty of room. I enjoy it most of the time. Food in the restaurant is good.

Excellent location for the convention center and there is even an underground tunnel to the convention center which is awesome when the weather is bad. Rooms are nice, but do not have microwaves. There are microwaves available in the lobby however. They also do not allow ESA animals. Other than that, it is a nice hotel and the staff are always very professional, helpful and polite.

The atmosphere was appropriate and the elevator traffic moved fairly well. Upon check out, luggage pick up & valet parking were slow.

I didn't actually stay here this trip, but was in town for a conference (4 days 3 nights). Hotel was not available for our group but the hassles reported to me compared to the hotel we were in were enormous. This is a very elegant hotel & under different circumstances it is probably great.

The hotel staff was great! We had an awesome suite for a bachelor party. The staff found out where our party of 20 was going to dinner and ordered/paid for appetizers for the group!

Loved my stay. When I arrived the very, very tall man (i forgot his name) greeted me and said "oh please let me help." I was exhausted from being up since 2am, 3 flights, rental car, picking up items for my conference, etc. I probably looked like I needed more than just baggage help! My check-in was fast, friendly, and I was in my room quick! I loved the newly renovated shower and took pictures for my contractor! The location is great. You can easily walk downtown and shop. So friendly and relaxing!

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel well placed in downtown KC. The room I was staying in had a great view of the city which made the stay even better. The one downside I had is that I was at the end of the hall so a lot of walking g before getting to the elevator. The service however was great, room service, checkin etc. This makes everything flow so much better. Overall I would def stay here again.

My sister and I stayed at this location and were very disappointed with the staff and the service. We will never stay here again! Such a huge lack of respect for us as guest as well as poor communication and inconsistency among the staff. We booked here because of the closeness to a New Year's Eve party we were attending at Union Station. We were told they would provide shuttle service to the event more than once by 3 or more staff. When it came time to get the shuttle I called to ask how long before the next one arrived and where we should be for pick up. Was told 5-10 minutes.When we got to the lobby we again asked about the shuttle and were told the next one would be here soon and it has Marriott on the sides of it.After waiting about 20 minutes more I asked again. This time was told the shuttles were only taking guests to the Sprint Center for the Kid Rock concert. We asked about us being taken to Union Station again and were told we had to get other transportation such as a taxi or Uber to get there. After explaining what we were told by hotel staff at check in and prior to check in as well as 3 times afterwards we were very upset about the lack of commitment on the part of Marriott staff to follow through on what they told us about providing shuttle service. We will make sure this hotel management is aware of this and also the district or regional manager as well. For as much as Marriott charges for this room they should at the Very Least offer us an apology and discount our room fees to make up for all of the delays and inconvenience. We had a limo driver take us to the event. Marriott refused to send their shuttle to being us back because it was"1.7 miles away from where they WERE providing shuttle service. We couldn't get a taxi or Uber to ride back and had to wait 2 1/2 hrs. for the limo to return to work us into his pick up schedule. Thanks a lot Marriott. YOU SUCK!

I had a room on the 21st floor and the noise from the gym on the floor above was unbearable

Convenient downtown location, spacious rooms, and free basic internet.

We stayed in a newly renovated room on the 18th floor. This hotel is gorgeous with a good restuarant and bar. Will definitely stay again.

This Marriott was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the gym was amazing. The rooms even came with smart TVs so you can watch Netflix /Hulu using your personal account. If you are going to Kansas City this is the place to stay!

More to come, but this is a review of my experience with manager Walter. I completed mobile check-in the day prior to arrival. My confirmation read very clearly 1 King. When I arrived to my room, it contained 2 double beds.

When I called the inaptly named At Your Service like, Walter repeatedly explained to me how hotel reservations work despite me very clearly stating that my check-in confirmation had been just that: a confirmation - not a request or a suggestion. My room type had been changed without my knowledge.

As a business traveler who micromanages my own travel reservations on a near-weekly basis, I don t appreciate this kind of service, and certainly not from a condescending manager at 12:30 in the morning, no matter how bad his day might have been. He was unwilling to work toward finding a solution after his staff clearly had done me a disservice.

The rooms are updated and modern. The beds are comfortable, great sleep!

Nice location, easy to get to, close to convention center and amenable to late night gatherings after the event.

Very clean and upscale. Stayed there to catch a royals game. Big room, clean and the shower head was very powerful which was awesome. Would stay there again!

The location is right center in the heart of Downtown . A lot of food locations to visit around. The staff was courteous and really helpful for all of my needs .

The top pool/gym has wonderful view and is clean n warm. Unfortunately there s not hot tub.

Woke up extra early to get on the road sooner. Called express checkout and requested valet bring the car up. Go downstairs, no car waiting. Needed a paper receipt for checkout the express option, never emailed the copy. Took 4 in person attempts to get the situation resolved...not even positive I slept in the correct room last night...odd. Also, twenty minutes later, my car arrived. Waste of my morning. Stay at a Hilton and save yourself a headache.

Nice views of downtown, good gym and indoor pool. No breakfast and you pay for parking though.

Love this place! So clean and pretty! The bartenders were so amazing too.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff at the Concierge Lounge on the main floor was fantastic. The hotel overlooks the city and is conveniently located to the conference center and many other downtown attractions. If you're a Royals fan you'll really appreciate the LED lighting on the side of the building and also in the fountain across the street.

Always a pleasure to stay. My company has a go to with them. So its not that I choose them, but I'd stay with them if I did....but parking is 16 a night which I don't care for.

Please be careful when booking with this hotel. I was quoted a price received a confirmation with the price I was quoted. I then received and email stating the only way to get the price quoted is if I were going to a KC Sporting game and had my ticket stubs. At no time did I mention going to the KC Sporting game. I actually told the agent we were having a mini high school reunion. This feels a lot like a bait and switch to me.

Restaurant and Bar had slow service. Rooms are good. View was amazing

Great hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is walkable for the Power and Lights district as well as the arts district.

Nice stay joy my time there little high on price for the stay they could come down on it for time i stay there i think I won't stay there again now time so much to high for that for rich people and learn more about each other in be nice but I live fits income and that put me in a badly places where I was going to meet some first-time she didn't show up at all that hurt me very badly damaged really want to see her and she coasted a lot more her she a friend that I want spend some time together now I'm broke my hand and because of you baby I love you think of this should making up to me

I went in to just get a little bit more information about the Marriott and to get prices on rooms and specials promotion they have coming up for my anniversary that's going to be in a few months. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff and beautiful scenery. As you walk through the front door you have an amazing bar and sitting area infront of a rock face waterfall. That looks like it would be perfect for a quite romantic evening. The receptionist desk is to the right of when you come in and the receptionist were amazing they answered all my questions if they didn't know they would ask and they were polite and courteous in the big plus I didn't have to wait a long time to get an answer back for questions that they didn't know also knowing that this location is literally a few blocks from the Power and Light or a bar that's just right around the corner there are many outlets to enjoy an evening overall I would give this a five star experience and I will definitely be coming here to spend my anniversary weekend.

I had a professional breakfast event to attend in the ballroom and it was a great experience. There were about 50 eight person tables with enough space to walk between and more open space at the back of the room (probably could have had another 5 or more tables, if needed). The service was fantastic for the food, the acoustics were great - I could hear both the people at my table and speakers in turn, with no issues.

Horrible service. Check-in delayed by hours which is incredibly frustrating when you 1) have other plans 2) arrive early knowing if will be busy so that you don t get stuck with delays 3) traveling with a group and the service is inconsistent with the group.
When asked for an ETA, they said they had no idea. Went and asked housekeeping directly to see if the room was ready and they didn t know... complained multiple times and nothing.

Very comfortable beds, thats about it.... horrible bar service, tried to make a special event, $50 goes missing, card charged 3 times for incidentals, ... i will NEVER come back or recommend to anyone

Loved everything the hotel offered . The location in the city is perfect. Plenty of things to walk to and enjoy each night . I stayed on the concierge level with the girlfriend, overlooking the city and we loved the view and friendly, professional service . My man Ruben took care of us and any need that came up. I definitely recommend the experience to anyone visiting Kansas city .
