Clean, Friendly, costly but the place you get to stay in is amazing
Great location and room. Check in sucked though as there was a long line of cars to pull in then they got me the wrong room. One king size bed was not gonna fit 4 people
Location is great as there is plenty around the hotel to do and only a few blocks from the street car. The in hotel restaurant was good, especially the breakfast buffet. The room itself was clean and had a great view of the Park, which the staff was kind enough to find for me or my request. Two downsides. My room was right off the elevator lobby so I was hearing the elevators rise and fall all night. Second, the wifi should be free at streaming speeds. In this day and age, we should expect fast internet as a basic amenity.
Fantastic staff and hotel! We stayed for our anniversary and they surprised us with a bottle of wine! The room was spacious and clean. We'll definitely be staying there again!
Great place and great staff!!! We will definitely be going back.
This is a large upscale hotel in downtown Kansas City. There is a convenient parking ramp under the main building and a skywalk connecting to the second tower. The TVs have a Netflix sign in which is a nice touch. The elevators don t have controls inside, instead you select the floor before getting on. Don t follow someone in and get dropped on the wrong floor!
Was here for a client event in one of their business rooms. Great food and cool elevators.
Great hotel. Luxurious rooms and staff that cannot do enough for guests.
Only stopped in for a little while in the morning. Breakfast was packed with an hour wait. When I tried to go get coffee from the little bar area they were out.
I come here often, and this Marriott is one of the best in town. the premium lounge is fantastic, the service is great, and the valet doesn't take too long.
A wonderful place to have a conference with plenty of venue space and friendly staff.
Just picked up friends, didn't go in. Nice from outside though
I had an issue with the comfort Inn suites, we booked our stay 6 months in advance and weren't notified that the pool was down for maintenance. They refused to refund our money even before we had stayed the first night. We called the Marriott in downtown Kansas City and explained our situation, they were more than happy to accommodate us and let us swim in their pool. They made us our own pool key card and a parking pass. I will only book Marriott hotels from now on
Went for a convention and was impressed. The staff were very friendly, good food, great facility and service.
Very nice facility. very professional staff parking is a bit of an issue
Disappointed for a marriot especially at the price. Lots of staff no one to help with bags a big deal since they put us the adjacent tower quite a haul . Executive lounge was nice but no alcohol was told i could go to bar and bring in. (Fail). Great location i guess but wont ever stay at this hotel again.
Great staff. Wonderful room. And awesome water pressure!
Very clean the domestic crew was kind and on there job
Enjoyed a couple drinks in the bar while waiting for friends. The bartender was friendly. I was disappointed that they didn't have copper mugs for a Moscow Mule, though.
Great conference location. The did an amazing job on the boxed lunches during that day.
Very comfortable rooms excellent service and hygiene, lack bilingual staff.
Marriott Level property. A little outdated, but nothing to complain about
This place is super gorgeous and the rooms are really nice too!! Definitely recommended
Huge place and it has everything you need. Wonderfully located to the convention center. Not inexpensive. Rooms are very nice but not well equipped for cell phone charging so bring a long cord.
The staff is great and the workout room is actually huge for hotels. For conventions, the elevators actually run on a schedule of sorts. People are routed to a specific elevator after punching in their floor. There is a concierge lounge as well as a full restaurant in the building. Parking was around $20 a day for guests but the city lot across the street charges $12. The rooms are a little dated but there are flat screen tvs and refrigerators. No microwaves, but there is a communal one in the lobby.
Nice rooms. I wish the bed would have been bigger then a full but it was a overall nice hotel
Hotel is beautiful but you have to pay $20 to park at the hotel. I just feel if you are paying to stay there parking should be included.
Clean, friendly staff, close to the convention center
The rooms in the adjacent tower have been recently updated. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I will stay here again.
Clean rooms, well furnished. Valet was a little underwhelming. Excellent location to downtown KC, especially the expo center and folly theater.
Attended a professional event here at the Marriott in KC. The staff was nice and curteous. The breakfast was decent. They hand picked some impressive speakers.
Fantastic hotel with tremendous devices! Highly recommended if the budget allows you to do so.
Lodging was great but the food at the bar was overpriced and overcooked
They did not give me the room I booked and when I said something about it the continuously argued with me and had me on hold for over 15 minutes. I ended cancelling my 4 night reservation because of the rudeness, which I was glad to do anyway after I saw the shape of the room they put me in. People are not nice, rooms are old and not clean. Woukd not recommend to an enemy.
Great facilities and across the street from the convention center. Mini fridges and coffee pots in room friendly staff clean comfy rooms . The lobby and bar area are a spacious relaxing area to visit with friends. Valet parking for $26 a day or $20 per day to self park. We ll be back. Thanks Marriott!
Nice downtown hotel in a good location and they didn't charge for parking
Very nice spacious room..
Staff very friendly and helpful..
Nice hotel in an ok area. Lots of road and building construction nearby and street noise from my room (East tower), but walking distance to restaurants and hotel shuttle will take you around. In main hotel restaurant, Sarah is just about the best waitress I have ever been served by.
Outstanding facility in a convenient location with spacious but not over done rooms
Awesome experience at the KC Marriott Downtown. The staff were tremendous, rooms and general hotel were immaculate.
Curtious and helpful . You are close to the convention center as well as downtown attraction, the El, and Great Eateries.
Beautiful hotel right in the heart of downtown KC. Walking distance to many places and the free KC Trolley/Shuttle.
Great rooms & free shuttle to Sprint Arena & city market
Couldn't hear the speaker very well at the back of the room.
There are 2 buildings connected by a sky bridge. One is nice and modern, the other a bit dated. Unfortunately we were in the old building. As a Gold member we got complementary breakfast which was great. Ig variety including smoked salmon. Nice bar area in main building as well as a coffee shop and sundry shop. Convenient to the convention center.
Competent lobby bar, it a little slow to serve walk up patrons. Overall pleasant environment with the gratuitous fountain on the inaccessible second level.
My king sized guest room was just cleaned by room service when I arrived. It was a very plush, spacious and up to date amenities. I had an awesome view of the terrace that lead to the convention center. The lobby was very welcoming and chic with all the detailed ambiance of waterfalls and warm colors. The staff was very attentive to my needs. Interesting there is no airport shuttle
The facility is great. Rooms are clean and service is great
Fantastic hotel with beautiful views and comfy rooms. A full workout facility on the roof includes cardio, weights, and a lap pool.
It's very confusing to navigate and I think they may have out-thought themselves on the elevators that only go to specified floors but the employees were very courteous and conference rooms were clean. The issue with the elevators is that it's a completely new experience with an age-old interface and there's no priming for the user. There needs to be more information or instruction so that people don't question how to use it and can easily confirm they're using it as expected.
No continental breakfast for a pricy hotel. Also anything sold at the hotel is pretty overpriced. Thats stated pretty clearly when you walk in your room to see a $4 bottle of Aquafina...
The service was excellent. I asked them to call me when a delivery arrived no matter how late and they were on it! The restaurant has an excellent brunch as well. Would recommend staying there. Looking forward to my next trip.
Soft comfortable beds. Strong shower. Great service. Walking distance to Jacks Stackhouse which has best carrot cake in the US.
Attended a fundraising event at this location and was impressed by the service and facilities. The valet service was very friendly and professional. The event space was well maintained and luxurious. I'm not sure of the hotel staff was responsible for service of the event, but they were very professional. I would recommend this space to others.
So impressive! The sustainability initiatives at this hotel make it even more awesome. Paper straws! And awesome awesome awesome bartenders! So, um, awesome!
Good location, right across from the convention center. Nice pool
I stayed here for an interview the next day. The room was spacious, I had a lovely view and it had the best TV system I've seen in a hotel. Unfortunately there were a few quirks, such as in the morning despite the hotel being empty, I had very little hot water. Night before it was scalding hot so I'm not sure what was up with that. Also the blankets on the bed are far too thick and I sweated despite having the AC cranked way down. It was either a sheet or a thick comforter. Maybe this is just a Marriott thing, but I still slept pretty good. Parking was good and my Tahoe fit despite it looking very tight, parking garage was very well lit and felt safe. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
The location and lobby were very nice. The staff was great, and the hotel has a very The rooms were dated for the price, and it was impossible to find a plug in. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. We also had an awful time at the restaurant. The service was poor and the food was awful.
Kansas City Marriott Downtown has been nice. The facilities are amazing and the staff is friendly.
Was there for an event and the staff were very nice
Convenient downtown hotel for conventions, but they are split between 2 towers across large street corner, a bit awkward. Our view was a brick wall, room was not updated
