My sister and I stayed at this location and were very disappointed with the staff and the service. We will never stay here again! Such a huge lack of respect for us as guest as well as poor communication and inconsistency among the staff. We booked here because of the closeness to a New Year's Eve party we were attending at Union Station. We were told they would provide shuttle service to the event more than once by 3 or more staff. When it came time to get the shuttle I called to ask how long before the next one arrived and where we should be for pick up. Was told 5-10 minutes.When we got to the lobby we again asked about the shuttle and were told the next one would be here soon and it has Marriott on the sides of it.After waiting about 20 minutes more I asked again. This time was told the shuttles were only taking guests to the Sprint Center for the Kid Rock concert. We asked about us being taken to Union Station again and were told we had to get other transportation such as a taxi or Uber to get there. After explaining what we were told by hotel staff at check in and prior to check in as well as 3 times afterwards we were very upset about the lack of commitment on the part of Marriott staff to follow through on what they told us about providing shuttle service. We will make sure this hotel management is aware of this and also the district or regional manager as well. For as much as Marriott charges for this room they should at the Very Least offer us an apology and discount our room fees to make up for all of the delays and inconvenience. We had a limo driver take us to the event. Marriott refused to send their shuttle to being us back because it was"1.7 miles away from where they WERE providing shuttle service. We couldn't get a taxi or Uber to ride back and had to wait 2 1/2 hrs. for the limo to return to work us into his pick up schedule. Thanks a lot Marriott. YOU SUCK!
