This place is amazing. A bit pricy, but for $340 per night, here's what we got:. A private section of beach (caveat...you have to take a shuttle to the beach, but it is worth it), 2 pools, a couple of bars and restaurants, but the best part was our suite. 1200 square feet, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Full kitchen and large dining, living room. Right on the intercoastal and beside a marina.

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I booked a room last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the staff and accommodations. The restaurant was fantastic and the bar was fully stocked. By far the best filet we've had in a long time! The women working in all departments of this hotel were amazing! Amber (front desk) and Carrie (restaurant) thank you for making our stay!

This hotel spoke luxury hotel with the added touch of supreme hospitality. The hotel manager was polite and courteous. The hotel had an awesome workout room that had fresh cucumber water waiting for the guest. My kids loved the large chess table. They loved the beach and pool area. But I didn t like the extra $45 dollars per day for the beach chairs - tacky. I thought the daily hotel price warranted the chairs. I loved the free WiFi and the room was large and very classy. I will be back at this hotel.

I liked it because it was a beautiful place ,however when I opened up the sliding door I found toilet paper wrapped with feces in it,They should have waived the fee for my stay.I would like to have my money back for the inconvenience I endured.

I am convinced that no one actually works the resort. I only saw the one person working valet, two women working check in/out, and one person at the restaurant. Not friendly or welcoming. No towels at the indoor and outdoor pool only dirty towels everywhere but I guess you need workers to stock those and clean up. Why is the OUTDOOR pools not heated in FEB! They are open but what's the point. Oh yeah, think they have an indoor hot tub nope just bubbled section of the pool. No one tells you anything about the resort or speaks to you the entire time. Want to get something from the gift shop, plan spending 25 mins at the check in to pay. They have a shuttle but that wouldn't run to the most logical places like the Opry or Pirate show directly next door! But again, need someone to drive you and I never saw anyone. Usually at a resort you see people working! Save your money and go somewhere else that will actually recognize they have guests. Lady at front desk didnt look up during check out the entire time. Complete disappointment!

Clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. Amenities are very nice and it's conveniently located to golf, water sports, and other activities. They also have a shuttle that takes you to their own stretch of private beach with chairs umbrellas and refreshments.

Meant to choose 5. Had a wonderful stay
Recently. Clean room, view of the pool area
And a bit of the waterway. The breakfast
Buffet was great, the food was always
Freshly prepared. We enjoyed lounging
And using the wonderful pool on the
Premises. The Office, housekeeping and
Valet staff were friendly and helpful.
We came back this year after staying
Last year also. We really enjoy the
Myrtle Beach area and will be looking
Forward to staying at the Marina Inn!

We checked in to a spacious 2 bedroom unit on August 7th, and couldn't be happier. Kelly at check-in was awesome, and the valet Anthony helped with our bags. In 20 years we have been to many resorts in MB, but this is our favorite. It is a very serene, family friendly environment with a great staff. We plan on doing jetski (on site), and we have a great view of the pool area, and intercoastal waterway. The pool is very clean, and there are two hot tubs as well. It was very peaceful lounging outside, especially with the nearby tiki bar.

The Marina Inn did a fabulous job hosting a cocktail reception the evening before our wedding. We had around 80 guests and they did a top notch job with the food and moving our venue to a better location due to weather. Many of my guests stayed at the Marina Inn and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend the Marina Inn.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. The place was in a good location, and they were able to accommodate our request for a quieter room. The room we stayed in was very, very spacious, and was clearly intended as a condo. I did feel that being charged a resort fee when practically none of the 'resort' amenities were available, either due to weather or COVID restrictions was a bit unfair. It was a really good hotel, but I was expecting a bit more from them, given its reputation and price. One thing that really surprised me was how uncomfortable the furniture was; seriously, that couch was absolutely torturous.

We still enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying there in the future, but really hope that they have a chance to bring back some of the resort level features before we do. Having signs up for valet parking when you don't actually offer it was quite disconcerting, even though the bellhops were amazingly helpful. Fully functional restaurants would be a great thing, too. Having your main restaurant only open for breakfast, when your night time 'bar restaurant' seats no more than a dozen, was pretty aggravating at the time.

A choice of many groups visiting myrtle beach. Conveniently located near restaurants and entertainment venues, it features a Ruth's Chris restaurant on site. Golf is never far away ,at some of the beat courses in the state.

Very beautiful resort. Great amenities. Beautiful view. Staff was hit or miss. Key NEVER worked. Stayed 3 nights had to get key reset 4 times. Took forever each time. Lastly, ants ants ants. In room by patio and at pool. Killer several in room on me. Last day packing up finally saw them everywhere by patio door, hard to see in carpet colors. Will spray suitcase before unpacking.

Now to the review...

Ahh this place was great!!! Firstly it is so beautiful here! I can not say enough about how nice it is. There's valet, the house keeping are nice, and the rooms are nice, clean, and have a balcony that's nice to sit and drink coffee on. There is some things to do on the resort and theres even a free shuttle to take you to a private beach spot that has a cabanas, towels, and umbrellas provided for you.

The only two downsides. One the indoor hot tub is not hot and is actually connected to the indoor pool which is kinda weird, but it's ok because theres an actual separated hot tub outside. Lastly to me, the resturants inside the resort called waterscape is too expensive to go to for you can easily spend about 100 on just 2 people. All in all it's a great resort close to the beach with beautiful views! Will come again. Also this picture is the view from my balcony.

My wife and I booked a Studio Deluxe Suite (included whirlpool tub, fireplace, etc.) months in advance hoping to have a romantic stay for five days for our honeymoon. It's advertized as a sort of honeymoon/romantic suite. I called a few days before we left to make sure the reservation was all good, since we had not talked to anyone over the phone yet. The lady on the phone checked our reservation and said everything was in order. We arrived a few hours before check-in and the lady at the front allowed us to pre-check-in, but she said our room wasn't going to be available because some sort of maintenance was taking place. She said we were given a free upgrade to a two-bedroom villa. It included two queen beds, a king bed, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms. The problem was my wife and I don't need two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms for just two people. We wanted a whirlpool tub so we could relax when we came back to the hotel. I was disappointed that we weren't called and informed about this change before driving all the way to the beach, and then to have a representative try to make me think I was getting an "upgrade". It was an overall bad experience, and I chose to save a whole lot of money by booking a motel that was actually on the beach, rather than having to be shuttled to the beach at Marina Inn. I gave them an extra star because the hotel does seem to be a nice place despite this incident.

The hotel is not bad the rooms are good but the price is very high for what they offer. He is not in a good location every time he went somewhere he had to drive 20 minutes. They do not offer airport pick-up, the pool is very small, that is all that is not worth the 245 dollars you pay per night. In the ads they give you a price and when you arrive they charge you to the separate parking lot not the valet parking I am talking about the normal parking of the hotel. I will not return because with the same money or less I stay in Cancun in an all-inclusive, or I am going to New York or Miami. Myrtle Beach is beautiful but nothing special. It is rather empty the city should not have those prices in hotels since it is nothing from the other world.

You pay alot for the rooms . But what's more pathetic is that at least when I was there no complementary breakfast . Fyi if people are paying alot for rooms at least have free breakfast every morning. Besides that the hotel is ok

Beautiful place with a great staff. The Marina inn was beyond our expectations. Renee was a great front desk host to us, got us checked in and out quickly and was very helpful with answering any questions we had. Thank you!

This place is simply amazing beautiful property, great people, service, and not to mention the restaurant Water Scapes, was phenomenal, the food was great, you really get you money's worth. My boyfriend and I got the room with the jacuzzi and it was a stay to remember from the in room daily service breakfast, daily housekeeping services, massages to the amenities on the property. Love their indoor and outdoor pool and the sauna! I highly recommend this place coming back again

Beautiful decor. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Expensive restaurant. Some cleaning is lax. Depends on who is doing it.

This is NOT on the beach, but on the waterway. Shuttle runs you to private beach.

Plenty of shopping, entertainment, and restaurants nearby.

Room was excellent, staff did not explain how to get to my room (weird numbering system if you've never stayed before). I would have given 5 stars but two floors later then back to the front desk for better instructions. Overall stay was memorable.

In town to visit our daughter at coastal. We always always stay at this hotel. It s our favorite until today when my daughter came to pick us up for the day and there were 3 people SLEEPING IN THE BEAUTIFUL LOBBY AREA . I complained to the receptionist and she said... oh yes, they can t check in yet it s too early, I m sorry that bothers you I said, it s totally inappropriate for this place to even ALLOW that to exist. They literally were sleeping on the floor and the furniture in the lobby. WHO DOES THAT ! And HOW IS THIS ALLOWED! I don t understand but I can assure you , I will never be coming here ever again. I feel like I m in a homeless shelter all whilst paying $229 a night. UNBELIEVABLE

I truely loved the time I spent here! It was comfortable, quiet, offered all the amenities I wanted: swimming pool, walking trails, Jacuzzi, steak house, sunbathing, short drive or walk to beach!
