Nice, quiet, romantic hotel away from the busy-ness at the beach front. Shuttle service to the private beach is fantastic. CVS and grocery store across the street.

This was our first visit to the Marina Inn. Overall everything was great. Staff was very nice and we really loved the shuttle to the private beach area where there were ample chairs, umbrella and towels. My only negative was about housekeeping. After coming back to the beach, we wanted to shower to get the salt and sand off, however we were only left with 1 wash cloth. We called a total of 3 times to no avail. Eventually, I had to go to the front desk and wait for someone to bring some wash clothes. They did apologize for the inconvenience, which I appreciate, however I feel some extra training needs to be done in the housekeeping dept.

My family and I drove up to Myrtle Beach for the weekend and I booked a room at Marina Inn and we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. My visit exceeded my expectations. The suite was fully functional, relaxing to the point my family wanted to stay longer. Overall my experience at the Marina went from a short weekend getaway to a memorable experience that my family and I will always share.

My experience at the Marina was quite surprising. My first impressions upon arrival was pure excitement. The resort is beautiful, and the lobby is breathtaking. I arrived at 10AM. Check-in was not until 4PM, so we changed clothes, grabbed the shuttle, and headed to the beach.

The private beach is unlike any other in Myrtle Beach. The beach service provides clean towels for use at the beach. Additionally, they offer chairs and umbrellas. They also provide a snack and concession area that has drinks and light foods for purchase. There is a portable restroom facility that is air conditioned as well. The shuttle service was fantastic. The driver was professional, friendly, and accommodating.

At 1:30PM, I received the text message informing me that my room was ready. We stayed at the beach until 3PM, checked in, and headed to Barefoot Landing for the evening. At 5:30PM I received a call from the resort letting me know they made a mistake and checked me in to the wrong room. They apologized for the inconvenience and even offered to move all our luggage for us. This was minimal to no inconvenience because we hadn t really unpacked yet, so we went ahead and just moved it ourselves.

The next day at the beach was great. The shuttle driver informed us on the way back that afternoon that this was the last day for the seasonal staff at the resort, however the bellhop would take us to the beach on the shuttle for the remainder of the trip. So the next morning, we headed down to the front of the resort and asked the bellhop to take us to the beach. With a look of confusion, he responded that the last day for beach service was yesterday. He informed us that he would not be taking anyone to the beach today. He informed us that we could drive ourselves to their beach access, however we could not park in the parking lot as it was reserved for the ocean club.

When we arrived at the beach, there were no chairs or umbrellas set up. This is the point at which it became a major inconvenience, because we did not travel with chairs or umbrellas. We drove back to the resort and went to the front desk to talk with the staff. The staff explained the dates for the chairs and umbrellas were posted on their website and that we should have checked that before staying with them. I informed the front desk that I did check their website, and I wanted to verify the availability, so I sent an email to the resort and received a written response from the resort advising that the shuttle, chairs, and umbrellas would be available for the specific dates that we were staying with them (email attached to this review). They responded saying they were not sure who sent me the email, but re assured that the chairs and umbrellas would not be available to us, regardless of what the email said. So at this point, we were overwhelmed with a sense of surprise and disappointment. At this time, it became very apparent to me that I was not going to be able to relax on the beach while staying at the Marina Inn, so informed them that I wanted to check out now (2 days early).

The Marina Inn did not ruin my trip to Myrtle Beach, however, I had my trip very organized and planned. After reviewing my master schedule, the issue of changing rooms cost us around 1 hour of shopping time. This really was not a big deal, so I consider it to have no bearing on the rating I ve chosen. However the beach chair issue, resulting in us switching resorts, cost us 4 hours of beach time. Of my planned 22 hours of beach time, I spent 18 hours on the beach. I would normally consider a misunderstanding like this to be minor, however this misunderstanding cost us 18% of our beach time. If I had known up front that the beach service would not be available for the last two days of my trip, I wouldn t have made the reservation. However, based on their email response, I trusted that the information they delivered was true and accurate.

We LOVED it here!! Beautiful property. Clean, quiet, and classy. It wasnt even crowded at the infinity pool! We'll be coming back here for sure.

I really enjoy my visit to the Marina Inn, from the time you pull up to the front of the hotel, through check-in and to the room. I was very Pleased. and for then to see that my birthday was in a couple days and left me a very gift in my room that was very nice of them. And I will be back. They treat you like you would love to be treated. I'm very happy and pleased.

I stayed at the marina at Grand Dunes. The marina is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The pier bar overlooking the ICW was a fun ace to grab lunch and cocktails. It s a easy walk to Ruth Chris steakhouse and the beautiful hotel.

What a beau-t-ful and quiet Inn. Love the grounds and its setting. A great place to come and relax for vacation!!!!

Beautiful hotel! Such a pleasant place to stay at! The room was very clean and well taken care of. Everything was comfortable and the view was delightful! The price was very great for the room that we got with 2 queen beds! Definitely coming back to this hotel. And I highly recommend it to everyone!

My family stayed in a suite in the Marina Inn. The suite is comfortable and good sized. We have a view to the dock, and it was nice to see the sunset right from the balcony. The front desk receptionist and room service were helpful too. Only "complaint" if there any, is the kitchenwear were limited and not matching the quality of the kitchen and the suite. We had in some other places better cooking experience.
Overall, this is great place to stay for a few days while enjoying Myrtle beach. I would definitly recommend this to anyone.

Wow, the Marina Inn was absolutely fabulous. The staff was gracious and the room was spectacular. We enjoyed the views from our balcony and swam everyday in a clean pool. I would highly recommend staying at the Marina Inn.

Top knotch. Do yourself a favor and skip the hotel with 2 queen beds and a microwave. You wont be sorry. Not right on the beach but close enough with shuttles running till 6.

I believe that this is the place to visit with your family and friends.Very clean and the service is excellent not to mention the veiw that you have from your balcony.Just a perfect place for vacation

We enjoy staying at the Marina Inn every year with our family and friends. The rooms are huge, we usually end up getting a 2-3 bedroom villa to accommodate 2 families. These villas have full kitchens with everything needed to prepare a meal for the family and a large fridge to keep plenty of drinks stocked. And a 3 bedroom villa has 3 bathrooms, that makes life super easy! The pool and hot tub are very nice and you really can t beat the sunset over looking the water. The Marina Inn truly is such a special place to us!

Grande Dunes Marina: poor customer service. Zero amenities.

For what you pay for a room here it is well worth it. You pay nearly the same as a room near the beach, but get the luxury and excellent service, but just have to drive a few minutes to get to the beach. Will definitely keep this at the top of list for places to stay.

I used to grudgingly detest going to Myrtle Beach because of the room quality for beachfront hotels along the Grandstand. I absolutely love this hotel for its cleanliness and customer service. The only thing is I don't particularly care for the soft pillows and mattresses and prefer firm bedding. I appreciate the clean, private beach and how they include the lounge chairs. The beach was never crowded and just peaceful.

I went to a conference there. It's a beautiful place. However the AC was not adequate. You would think they would have the ability to cool a public space. This is the 2nd time I've been and both times it was like this. I could write off one time but not twice.

Beautiful View & Spacious Room with a fire place and private balcony!!

Fantastic. Can only speak to offseason stays - but the rates are beyond reasonable. The rooms are very nice - not top notch, but very nice accommodations. Balconies are spacious offering good views. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Decent 4star American hotel. My expectations of tourist services and attractions are generally low for US eastcoast. You can get much more for your money in Europe.
Hotel was fine, except the wifi internet was painfully slow.

Although our stay was far too short, we had a fabulous time and WILL be returning for a longer stay in the future. Clean and comfy rooms, some if the suites equipped with a fireplace and full kitchen. Great view of the waterway, and plenty of top rate amenities! All staff we had the pleasure of working with were fantastic. I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Jeremy out front!

Beautiful place it is a four diamond hotel if you have wedding plan that is one of the places .

If you are going to Myrtle Beach, this is where you want to stay!! The staff at this resort style hotel is FANTASTIC and the hotel itself is an oasis to say the least! Whenever we come back to Myrtle Beach, this is where we will stay every single time!

Amazing accommodations! Absolutely loved it. My two children 6 and 8 had a blast in the pools. Them having their own room and bathroom was a plus. Staff is also amazing and friendly!

Waited over 90 min to check in. Room wasn't ready. Had a reservation, housekeeping was still cleaning room. The room we received had no towels, no tissues, sinks & showers were slow drained in both bathrooms. Fruit flies in bathroom sink drains and in kitchen. No room service. Food was good & portions were big at Waterscapes for breakfast.

Nice rooms. Not too noisy. No beach service after labor day, so the chairs, umbrella and towels you were used to are gone and have to fend for yourself. The shuttle still runs to the beach but nobody tells you there is no more beach services.

Only been here a couple hours and it already is a weekend to remember. This resort is amazing!
