This is NOT a learning environment whatsoever. I've been doing their summer camps for 8 years now and not ONCE have I landed a main role. They refuse to tell you how to fix your audition and act like its no big deal when kids with self confidence issues are given minimal roles and end up crying for hours. One girl even committed suicide after the week. This is NOT A PLACE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Well at first I was Leary to go,we are not exactly the type of people to like live theatre and its missoula not exactly a huge town. We did not know what to expect really. My daughter had to write an essay on a play she is in the 7th grade and the only show that was playing was leading ladies, it was pg13 so I figured what the heck. Well it was a fantastic experience. I was really surprised by the quality of acting and props and the whole atmosphere. My only complaint was the seating doesn't give you much leg room for a 2 hour play but the entire atmosphere made up for it. I even threatened to make my husband take me out again. Loved it very much. Thank you for a great experience.

Went to see Rapunzel. This was the end of a camp my grandson was in. These kids learned all the parts in a week of camp. It was great. There are several more of these this summer. If you want something to do for a low price tickets are just $5 for these performances.

Wonderful productions in a fantastic building.
The building itself is very cool with a lot of neat architectural touches.
They do a great job putting on productions and our kids have performed in several.
They are also very active in the community as well as traveling all over.

Missoula Community Theatre is part of the umbrella of MCT Theatre for the Performing Arts. The Community Theatre provides shows locally between September and May. The facilities are impressive, intimate, comfortable, and volunteering in all compacities has been a really excellent and rewarding experience.

You have to take this as your child's first experience preforming on stage. Especially if they are young. The end play is a little corny and pushed along but you have to remember that they only get to practice at the most 5 days. Many only 4. It was a good experience for small children to learn how to be loud and dramatic and in front of a crowed. The larger more important roles are given to older high schoolers. Which is understandable since they have to have there lines down and ready in a day or two. I had a 10 year old that loved it. She had maybe 6 lines but learned how to say them loud and with expression. I had a 7 year old that thought it was fun but was done by the end of the week. He does say he would do it again next year. I also had a 5 year old who didn't make the cut and was upset about it. But I see that to as a growing experience as well. She wants to try again next year and will be bigger and better. The audition itself was certainly beneficial to her. So, don't expect the world but was worth the week of our lives.

Called MCT for "Missoula Community Theatre" as well as "Missoula Children's Theatre." A very nice space, a small comfortable theatre, that does all kinds of wonderful and nice productions. Something you will want to follow the events going on, if you live in the community. Also offer summer camps for kids. My daughters did the Blackbeard the Pirate weeklong camp for 8 to 18 year olds, and did two performances. Said they had fun and want to do camp again next year.

I highly recommend "Happy Days - The Musical." The voices, acting and happy sincerity of the cast make this show a winner! The Fonz and Mrs. Cunningham and Pinky Toscadero are particularly outstanding in their musical voices.

We love the mct. I've been going for years with my mother, and now it's an experience I share with my wife and children. The smaller theater gives you a personal feeling like you are part of the show.

This is possibly the best kept secret of Montana. We have never been disappointed in the quality of the productions or the people associated with MCT.

A few years ago our grand daughter Amanda was offered chances to go to orchestra camp, leadership camp, space camp etc. Instead she chose Next Step Prep Camp with the MCT. A vigorous six week intensive to teach the art of production to young adults. They danced, sang, produced and preformed in an amazing period of time.

Kids from all over the world were there to learn about the theater. Afterwords, we asked if she had chosen wisely. Did she wish she had made another choice. She said that period was one of the best times she had ever had. She would do it again in a heart beat.

MCT is a treasure and we are very pleased to just be able to attend the productions locally and support their international reach.

This place is amazing! I have been preforming and watching plays here for about 5 years, and everytime I visit it reminds me of summer nostalgia. The shows are always professional, fun, and amazing! The actors do a wonderful job carrying the story, and the sets and music are always beautiful.

We are beyond fortunate to have this organization in Missoula. The Community Theater productions are top notch, and the Children's Theatre affords every child the opportunity to make friends and get up on stage. The summer camps for pre-teens and teens are terrific and well run, too. Bravo to MCT!

There has been a truck with this name on it in our neighborhood all day hopping from house to house. I live in northern California. I am completely baffled as to how this works and why they would be here at 9:30 at night. Any suggestions?

I performed as a child in Missoula Children s Theatre and now my daughter gets to perform with them as they come to her school. This is the second year she has participated and we love it! Kids learn so much so quickly,it is really quite amazing to watch the whole process from how auditions are handled to the week of preparation. I would recommend this traveling theatre group to any school organization, such a brilliant way to give your child a taste of the arts! Thank you MCT!!

This is a very fun place to visit. I would like it a little better if they allowed at least water in. It can be a little cramped when it's full, but I have always had fun and enjoyed the pay that I've seen.

I've been coming for about 6 years and I have never been disappointed!

What an amazing place. The second you step into the theater hall, you feel ready for a show. It's got this feeling that cannot be described. It's the perfect size, seating arrangement, lighting. Everything feels so... artistically theatrical!
You gotta see it for your self.

This is an above average community theater. The facility is the best in the area. Out ous well supported by the community with most performance selling out. They appear to excel at getting young performers into their plays.

Always a wonderful, community supported event. We take our daughter to about two shows a year and she enjoys the whole very traditional experience. The main events serve beer and locally baked goods. These are not Las Vegas shows by any stretch, but they are genuine and any lack of special effects are made up for by the enthusiasm of the cast and staff. If you take your date or family you will have an authentically good time.
