Excellent environment, great staff, pleasant atmosphere.
Great view over the marina at the lobby bar, Reflections.
Very respectful from the time you pull on the location to check in. Highly clean. Very quiet
It's an average hotel. Pro: Having a shuttle to a private beach was nice. Cons: My room wasn't completely cleaned, noticed that the previous guest left a couple items. Getting service at the pool bar took forever.
Was very clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Views of the Marina were beautiful!
Nice room but my room was near the ice machine and the other guests were slamming doors all afternoon. Maybe it was the maids. They should instruct them on not slamming the doors.
Just an average but it had such potential going in. Not sure it would be worthwhile to stay again.
The junior suite we had was spacious, clean and well appointed. The amenities are nice. The gym is small, but adequate for a road workout. The outdoor pool area is nice but could be a bit bigger for a resort this size. The on-site restaurant Waterscapes makes for convenient and tasty dining albeit expensive. I'd suggest venturing to local restaurants like Aspen Grille for dinner and River City Cafe for lunch. Skip the valet parking. There is plentiful parking and you don't have to wait. The one time we used their service to call ahead they forgot to even pick up our car. The only issue we had with our stay was the adjoining room. The people staying next door were beyond rude and loud. They had several guests. Kids were playing and screaming well past acceptable hours. Finally after tolerating it for too long we called the front desk who sent someone to talk to them. I'm happy that the staff tried to get them to be quiet but the walls are quite thin. All in all, we'd stay again.
Very clean and beautiful. Great location with shuttle service to semi private beach area. Wonderful food in Waterscapes restaurant.
Best place in Myrtle Beach, Rich & famous style with , working family possibilities
Charlotte turned what could have been a horrible first stay experience into a pleasant one. I purchased a room with two queen beds through Priceline. I paid priceline a $30 resort fee. Upon check in, we were asked to pay an additional resort fee of $18. Without question or discussion we paid the fee. When we arrived in the room there was only one (king) bed. I immediately returned to the front desk and explained that I had booked a double room. Unfortunately Priceline had sent over accommodations for a king room vice two queens. An unnamed front desk clerk stated that the hotel was full and the only thing the hotel could do, would be to give us a cot. Thankfully for us, we were being assisted by Charlotte. Charlotte took the time to look in the system and upgraded our room to a two bedroom. She went above and beyond to make our first experience at the Marina Inn the best it could be and for that I am grateful. Thank you Charlotte for delivering the perfect experience! Oh yeah, my husband and I have decided to return for 4 night in Oct for our anniversary.
This has been the best anniversary my husband and I have had this far! the view is absolutely breath taking. This entire place is beautiful! I would recommend this for couples or even families. They have a heated pool, large private jacuzzis. The staff is outstanding! and the valet parking is awesome! I would give more than 5 stars if it would let me!
Funny story, years ago me and my family was on our way to myrtle beach. We had picked this other hotel I forgot the name and it was horrible. We had to find another hotel quick because it was late at night. We were tired, hungry and all. We left that hotel and we eventually found this one. Once we got our rooms for this hotel, my mom was so tired to the point where she fell asleep in her regular clothes and not her pajamas. Best hotel and great service. Employees are amazing.
I really enjoyed the discount and quiet. I did not like not being able to do a late check out on a Sunday.
Over all we had a really nice stay. Amenities were were great. Indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, were all used. No bottled water in the room was a bit of a bummer.
Place is great! Very clean and has shuttle service to their own section of beach!
This is not a 4 star hotel, breakfast at the hotel was awful and overpriced, we went during normal hours, long wait, and only 4 guest seated. Food seemed like left overs and not fresh.
The king suit was nice and so was the view. Hallways were hot and humid, food carts left out all day, trash in the halls, a spider even built a web in the hallway, and only had to kill one roach but that was downstairs near the pool area.
Valet parking was great!
The rooms are spacious and inviting. The staff was wonderful.
A most beautiful hotel with amazing scenery and equally satisfying guest relations services!
If you must dock in Myrtle Beach, this marina and their service will treat you well. Jason and his team were attentive and pro-active. The location helps to minimize the current so your docking and maneuvering are made easier as well. Free laundry is a plus. Only four stars due to it being Myrtle Beach .
It was very nice and cozy. Just not much to do for young adults
Looked to be a very nice hotel. Went to lobby to check on availability . They had 10 customers in line waiting for one "consultant " at a desk. We moved on.
Excellent, palatial environment! The best place in Myrtle Beach.
I always enjoy my stay here. Incredible rooms, tremendous views and good food. Beautiful private beach access as well. You will love your stay here.
Everything was great and the staff was very helpful.
Great place to stay, convenient to everything. Excellent staff and service.
The service was great. Facilities outstanding. No better place stay.
At Marina Inn at Grande Dunes we had the best time. When we were leaving we were so impressed that we did not want to leave the place. I will surely recommend this place to people visiting Myrtle.
My father, daughter and I rented a suite here a yr ago for my brother's wedding. The room was beautiful! My dad stayed in the room with the king size bed and personal bathroom. He enjoys his privacy so it was perfect for him. My daughter and I slept in the room with the 2 queen size beds. The rooms were all very clean. The bathrooms stocked with toiletries. There was a kitchenette with a full size fridge, a microwave a dish washer, and it was stocked with glasses and cookware. The main livingroom area was spacious. A pullout bed couch a fireplace and a large floor to ceiling window door to step out onto the balcony. We had a view of the "wetlands." Lol! It was really nice. Staff here was SUPER helpful, friendly, and kind. We got locked out of our room once and the sweetest lady came right up to help us. Food was pretty good. We ordered room service at like 10pm and the food came up hot and delicious. The outdoor pool was really nice. All in all a beautiful hotel with great staff. I'd recommend.
Best hotel ever
That I've seen anyway
Checking in might take some time but the staff is very professional and responsive to your requests even though they were booked and very busy. Nice amenities and shuttle to the beach. Would definitely go again
The Marina Inn at Grande Dunes can only be described as phenomenal !!!!!!! It is a beautiful hotel with every amenity and comfort. The staff will help you with any request and even help you plan what to see in Myrtle Beach. The rooms are luxurious and very, very clean and spacious !!!!! The outdoor pool area is exquisite with a vanishing edge pool and two (2) wonderful whirlpool hot tubs !!!! The views from the Marina Tower (Tower 7) are great overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. It is located within two minutes of The Carolina Opry and other attractions at the northern end of Myrtle Beach. My wife and I cannot recommend the Marina Inn at Grande Dune highly enough !!!! We will stay at the Marina Inn at Grand Dunes AGAIN and AGAIN !!!!! You will simply love staying at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes !!!!
Was there for a wedding reception, good service and food.
A nice resort hotel. Plenty of parking and centrally located. Stayed in the Condos so 5 people fit fine. Upscale accommodations and very friendly staff. There is a shuttle that takes you to and from the hotel's private beach. But only one bus and it's small so be prepared to wait if its crowded. Remember Uber is available. Umbrellas, towels and chairs provided. Hotel restaurants were good and comparable to others in the area. A nice pool and deck area. Recommend.
The valets Jason & Bruce were awesome!!! Always going the extra mile to make sure they gave us great info & tips (both positives & negatives) of places, based on what we were thinking about doing. The Marina itself was very clean and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on our friend's boat.
Excellent place to vacation. Enjoy all of their services and their own private beach.
Stayed here multiple times.
-Always clean
-Comfortable
-Helpful & Polite staff
-Great location
Visited this place originally for my highschool prom, but revisited afterwords. Great service, amazing interior design, gorgeous people and delicious food.
I recently was at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes for a bridal show. I has a wonderful experience. The decor was breathtaking.
Very nice place. The rooms were so big and clean. They have a shuttle that take you down to the beach and brings you back. They have chairs and unmbrellas for you at the beach but they did run out on Saturday which is why I am giving them 4 stars and not 5. I feel like you should have enough to accommodate for your guest. We have a baby and I specifically did not bring an umbrella because they said they would provide one. I even called ahead and asked if they ever run out and should I bring my own. They said no one never run out. So I was a little frustrated when they did. If we didn't have a baby it wouldn't be a big deal. Otherwise this place was very nice and beautiful. Very nice pool too.
Mold in the shower, green algee on the balcony, screws hanging out of the wall light fixtures, papertowel stuffed under the light bulbs in the ceiling light fixtures to prevent vibration. No sugar or cream for the Keurig coffee in the room, and a fridge that we had to unplug because it was so loud. Oh I almost forgot the wallpaper pealing off the wall in the bathroom. Plus no soap. All this at a top rated "resort". When this was brought to the front desk's attention I was told that since I booked thru a 3rd party I would have to call on Tuesday to voice any concerns.
Nice and friendly staff. Very accommodating if you need anything. It is a typical older style hotel room. Clean but maybe a bit outdated. Doesn't bother me, but just explaining it is not a new modern update like so many of the hotels have gone to. I thought our rates were higher than I expected for not being on the beach. They do have jetski rental and a nice pool.
We had a beautiful king suite with an excellent view of the waterway. Wonderful customer service. Very enjoyable. Will definitely refer to family and friends.
A most outstanding property. Rooms , views and amenities exceeded our expectations. Bill the concierge was most helpful. Erica our Waterscapes server was superb. The entire staff at Mother's Day brunch could not have been better.
We stayed for the weekend after Thanksgiving. Room was excellent! we didn't eat at any of the restaurants, tho.
Great experience! A new favorite added to our list of places to stay when visiting Myrtle Beach!
Incredible service. Elegant but relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food that was cooked perfectly. I'd come back here over and over, even if I'm not staying at the hotel.
It was OK. It by no means is a 4 star hotel (as it advertised) The place is nice, but not worth the price. We encountered roaches indoor and outdoor, this is forgivable considering myrtle Beach. The shuttles were great. I found mold in the bathroom, but not much. The pools were great and open all the time. I would go back if they had lower prices.
Thanksgiving dinner was good but I really like herb stuffing and Turkey was alittle dry. But the shrimp was excellent along with the desert table. Definitely would return Atmosphere spot on
Rooms were clean, view was nice, but customer service needs to improve. Employees have pretentious attitudes. You have to pay for coffee and breakfast because they serve starbucks downstairs and a half pot of coffee is $8.00, barely enough coffee for two people. When you get a room here that's all you get folks unless you want to pay extra.
Everything was great. I rented a Jacuzzi suite for the weekend with waterway views. The room was lovely. It had a fireplace but due to the time it took for the electrician to come turn it on, we didn't get to use it. Overall I was pleased with my stay.
The facility is extremely nice. Rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated. Was just what we were looking for.
Great hotel! Lots of amenities. Comfortable and excellent service. Location is great and the views are beautiful!
Didn't like the fact that you can't check in before 4pm but room is nice , pool is gr8 and clean. Also didn't like the fact that you get $5 off everyday you don't use room service and can't get the money back only for gift shop which is bloody expensive.
The beach is a 10min drive from the hotel and is beautiful. Transportation is provided
I was here for Gains Fit weekend. Beautiful place with excellent food. I hope that Gains zfit is here again next year.
Pleasant resort, everything was so nice and peaceful away from the crowd. The staff was wonder and the decor was beautiful can't wait to come back.
Excellence for my business trip when I brought the family.
Very accommodating.
Great rooms and views.
Room service breakfast was flawless.
Spent three nights here with my family. We all loved it. The hotel has very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle service to private beach was quick and easy.
Everything was perfect. Nice canal view from the balcony. Beautiful pool area and lobby. Expensive but worth it.
Excellent Resort. Very reasonable. Fantastic staff. Excellent rooms. Very clean. Everything you expect in a 5 Start but the PRICE. When Myrtle Beech a MUST stay.
Stayed at the resort for 4 nights and loved it. I would definitely love to visit again and recommend to others too
Lovely place. Had water view and enjoyed the balcony off my room.
Wonderful stay at a beautiful property with great views of the ICW and marina
Drove 3 hours expecting to check in at my arrival. Was informed that due to a glitch our reservation was cancelled and there was nothing available. Nancy was not helpful and I still have no clue where my family is supposed to sleep tonight
Views are wonderful. The suite was very nice and clean.
