We watched Don Quixote and the performance was good, but the old chairs are too uncomfortable and the seating interval is very narrow. The middle of the 2nd and 3rd floors are located in the middle of the balcony. I read that there was no step on the first floor, so I booked upstairs and the side looked much better.

Historical theater, with a large program of shows. Unfortunately it is not really easy to find tickets, and those that can be purchased are quite expensive. At the moment around the theater everything is a construction site, so the "outline" is not exactly the best of elegance.

It's a stunning classical opera house. Required to visit all guests of our city. I always get great pleasure when I manage to get here.
Get here by public transport or taxi. Around the trouble with parking. Or look for a place in a 10-minute walk around the theater.

I m absolutely not a fan of the opera, but the atmosphere of the theater, incredible scenery, costumes, orchestra playing actors ... The unity of music, voices, such strings familiar from childhood ... "I write to you ..." This there were 4 hours of fairy tales ... Understanding that this is a huge work, invisible to the viewer, you realize the global nature of the plan and work ... An emotional person, I burst into tears of happiness and gratitude at the end of the seventh picture The ball s scene, in honor of Tatyana s name day , and in the sixth picture were simply fantastic! Anyone who loves classics, Pushkin, St. Petersburg, the atmosphere of the XIX century - definitely, I advise!

A lovely theatre, but a terrible ballet. The junior dancers were okay and the orchestra were excellent, but the overall composition was let down by the direction and poor timing of the leads.

It is one of the oldest in all of Russia. Its rich history is linked to the names of eminent men of Russian culture and art. Built by Cavos in 1859 it is the greatest theater in the city for opera and dance.
He baptized the masterpieces of all the great Russian composers of the nineteenth century, saw the world's most famous wands pass on the podium and the most famous dancers danced. At the time of its construction the theater was called Bolshoj (Big) or Kamenny (of Stone); in Soviet times it was known all over the world under the name of Kirov.
