Worst in Scotland. Pedestrian access is a nightmare of unnecessary fences. Singage is more confusing than helpful. All passengers are forced through duty free shop which is not layed out to handle the load.

When trying to find the hire car desk I found signage in the airport was inadequate and unclear. When I found where to go I got soaked, there is no cover and my car seemed to be in the furthest away position. Returning the car is even more fun you need to follow signs that send you in a complicated route, signage is awful, also a high chance of getting soaked with the return. At the gate, which is the reason for the 3, there was no seats in the waiting HALL, I just had to stand in a long Q, my flight was delayed and I did find the wait to be challenging.

AVOID THIS AIRPORT IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY.

When my incoming flight arrived, even though I had ordered a wheelchair in advance, and even though the stewardess came up and asked me if I had ordered a wheelchair, none was forthcoming. I asked several times and nothing. I am ambulatory so I was able to walk myself, but if I weren't, I'd have been in a bad way.

On the way into the airport, you have to walk quite a long distance from the Drop Off to get to the wheelchair station at check-in.

I am told they use a private contractor, which may be part of the problem.

Security is sad, I had to take off my slippers and wait 25 minutes without my suitcase because the security guard wanted, you ask for explanations and they do not answer you, nobody does to understand you, I do not have a high level of English but I have understood with anyone from Glasgow and here it is impossible, they do not want to do it, the experience of grief, they have thrown away the liquids of contact lenses and cologne, they let me pass it in Valencia and not here, the ID of my companion told us not to It was valid and the treatment they gave us was very bad.

Small but everything you may need is inside. You can either get a bus (there are many going back and forth from/to the city centre) or a taxi which will drop you off in 13 minutes, more or less. Once you're there remember that there's no smoking area anywhere so be prepared for it. Shops, Starbucks and restaurants, whatever you need you find it inside. Staff is nice and willing to help.

Sorry Glasgow big disappointment. Your Wi-Fi is rubbish. Shops have "breakfast times" in an International environment? Wife paid for an additional hours wifi and kept getting the connection dropped.

Solidly mediocre as far as airports go. We had to wait until very shortly before our flight before our gate was announced and the gate itself had very little seating. Also a weird amount of VLT machines and signs reminding people that they can t get drunk before flying. Still, security was smooth and quick, and our flight left on time so no major complaints!

2nd worst airport in Britain next to Aberdeen, nothing warms the heart more than delightful security staff shouting at tourists because they are in the wrong passport queue, that's offcourse the fantastically efficient e gates which were supposed to speed up things but have slowed them right down either because they never work properly or nobody can work out which way the passport photo goes in.

Decent enough airport, has improved a lot over the years, has large car park across the road, has the usual in departures, coffee shops, pubs, newsagents etc, check in & security is straight forward some of the smaller departure loungers could do with upgrades / modernising, only problem once you get outside is there is no direct tram / train to Glasgow, if you don't mind travelling you can get a bus into Paisley & direct train from Gilmour street to Glasgow central

Very easy to use and to find - well sign posted. Booked online, recognised car and issued ticket right away. Row letters slightly confusing probably just me. On return, bus easy to find and got us back quickly. What you want from parking.

Great experience here coming from London via EasyJet. Of course, EJ gets the most remote tiny gates, but that's fine for the price. There's several places to eat inside, including Starbucks, and some shops. The wifi was the main problem, I think they limit your free usage to an hour... pretty silly. The Airport Express Bus is great and was on-time for us--I recommend downloading the app in advance, and then pay the fare the day you'll be using it, BUT don't access the ticket for the express too early! Once you access the ticket it's only good for about 30 minutes, so wait until the bus is about to arrive.

Really poor airport. There are very few restaurants and they close at 9pm! For a major city, particularly the Capital, this airport is very disappointing. Still love Glasgow though! :)

No fresh air terrace, expensive airport bus, no free wifi. no information points at all (just one departure TV screen at departure hall), dirty chairs and rest areas. basic countryside airport.

Worst airport in the world, and I travel a lot. I landed from NYC and had to exit the airport in order to get a connection. I waited in line for security...again...for 40 minutes. Then i had to wait another 30 minutes for a rude, impudent agent to rummage through my bag that had already cleared security in NY. She was so smug and disrespectful and went through my makeup bag . She tested my lipstick!! When I told her my bag cleared in NY she asked me if I had a problem with her going through my bag. Yes, I did. She made the process slower than it should have been. Then when I went to the gate, at the same time they boarded they had everyone fit their bag in the carry on measure. It was a train wreck. The same bag that went with me on the plane to Glasgow, I got charged 50 pounds for. I hope this helps other travelers... BEWARE...avoid Glasgow airport at all costs. It is backwards and without evidence of logic in any aspect.

The airport was okay when I had a flight there a few days ago. It's not exciting in terms of shops or restaurants (most places seem to sell very similar things), but the security was fine and the staff were nice.

As for the passport control when I returned today...well it completely ruined any good idea I had about this place. There were only two people at the border and one of them was busy trying to put people through the electronic gate (one at a time despite the 5 gates!) instead of actually helping. I was asked to go through the self-service passport control even though I am 17, but all of the signs said that being 18 or over was a requirement. I was told to go through regardless and the machine didn't work, so I had to go to the proper passport control. I was then told that I would be refused entry to the country unless I could bring my one of my parents to the desk at that moment, but they were already past the gates and were behind a wall across the room.

It makes no sense why they did any of this and there was no explanation AT ALL. I don't know why they bother having rules for the electronic passport control when they won't even follow them, what confused me even more was why I needed a parent to let me into the country.
There are kids who have gone on longer flights alone than the flight I had today and don't experience these problems, so why do I need it when I've never had these issues before? Really disappointing effort by the staff, I'll be avoiding this airport now despite how easy it makes flights for me and my family.

Great busy airport, friendly staff, reasonable parking but signage not good.good duty free area and plenty of shops both sides of customs barriers and cafes easy access from motorway except peak commuter times.I have used airport many times and actually like it.

Very unfortunate. I usually have no problem but this time was different. Travelling to Iceland for a fishing trip we were told, once on board the aircraft, that the baggage had been scanned and then placed back in the airport for collection instead of on the aircraft. They realised the mistake but had to rescan it all before loading onto the aircraft. After an hour's delay, having so many passengers with connecting flights to the US in Iceland, they decided to leave behind a substantial number of bags, including my fishing rods. I got them a day later, delivered to my river, I assume at considerable expense to Icelandair.

They have introduced charging for drop off/pick up - clearly more money grabbing.
Dropped someone off at 5am - got charged for 30 seconds stopping. Surely if you are less than 5 mins it should be free.
Really angry about their blatant robbery!

Everything was straightforward at the airport. Quickly through security. Plenty of seating and outlets open. The lounges were clean and tidy a pleasant experience. I felt quite safe with all the measures that are in place

A good experience passing through Glasgow airport on way to Belfast, especially as this was the first time that I have ever flown ( easyjet ) was the airline that I used, my only complaint that I have is the price of alcohol in the airport, More

Cool the airport, you do not have to run around it and look for the terminal number, plus the one that immediately leaves the expressway and the airport, the road to the airport is full of speed measurements, and you can earn a severe ticket before departure

The way the luggage is being checked is really weird and I have never experienced something like this. It is for example not allowed to leave your liquids in a translucent toiletry bag, you have to put them in the bag they give you. My for the purpose purchased small bottles for liquids were not accepted, as they weren t labeled. I have traveled with this bottles so many times and everyone can see that they are small but not the person who checked my stuff. Cannot believe this!

In short, I am definitely fed up with UK airports.
Infinite controls (container of liquids out of the suitcase and only in their bag; go-go scanner; staff who purposely speak English, or narrow dialect).
After all, I am a paying guest as a tourist, so I deserve more respect and consideration.
The gentlemen forget that with their politically correct terrorists brought them to us, opening up half the world, allowing radical mosques, etc.
So, even given Brexit, by by UK, I will spend my money in more civilized countries.

Always good service within the airport but the lack of a good train link to the city centre is massive and will be its downfall if they dont do something extremely urgently. It is on the wrong side of Glasgow so desperately needs to address its transport links to keep competing with other nearby airports.

Some of the signage just ends up getting confusing and sends you scratching your head at times. Otherwise it's a simple enough layout. Just bad signs. Enough places to sit and just a standard airport. Don't expect high end luxury as you may have experienced elsewhere

On the whole experience coming back was far better than the outward leg. None of the travellators were working for some reason. I sometimes think airport management forget that we pay a large sum of money for these to be working and they just can't be bothered.

Good medium size airport with a good selection on both food and drink places. The duty free is that to be expected of a international airport. Can watch the action on the apron from plenty of places within the main departure lounge as well as from the gates. Staff are great to, lovely bunch all round.

A nice quick experience through customs and friendly service from the airline staff. Even the serious looking gentleman with the assault rifle near the customs area was pleasant when I asked him for directions. (I give him major points for being nice while caring a deadly weapon.) The facility was clean and not difficult to navigate. All in all, I'd love to travel through here on a regular basis.
