We've been here a large number of times in the last two years as our 2 /12 year old daughter loves it - from looking at the animals to riding on the ponies (being held on) and playing in the covered beach.

We came here on a weekday in November with family who were visiting from down South. We were a family of 5 adults, a 1.5 year old, 8 month old and 2 prams!

The farm was huge, with plenty of room for all of us to walk around and navigate with the prams. The walkways were wide, well signposted and not muddy, which was a worry of ours with a toddler and no wellies!

The animals looked very well looked after and included Meerkats, Alpacas and Highland Cows! There were also Rabbits & Guinea Pigs at a child friendly height so they could toddle about investigating.

There is a big indoor picnic area with sofas, dining tables and a play area for children. As well as this is a cafe with a woodburner which we certainly appreciated on a cold day! Prices were your typical cafe prices and the wait wasn't very long. The food was hot and quite tasty.

Highchairs were readily available and help yourself. There was also a communal microwave and bottle warmer which was a nice touch.

Toilets are outside as is the baby change. A little bit of a pain for my brother in law having to cart a screaming child outside on a wintery day but it IS a farm!

The farm shop was very quaint and I was looking forward to having a good nose but alas we had to leave as by then we had 2 cranky children due their naps!

I thoroughly enjoyed coming here, it is a truly family friendly day out. Lots to entertain children and adults of all ages no matter the weather. I would definitely come again!

A family run organic farm. This is a working farm that is open to the public. They have such a welcoming atmosphere which is ideal for all of the family. Have a quick stop at the farm shop, a bite to eat at the cafe, or spend a long afternoon on the farm. They have an entry fee for the farm but it includes a tractor ride and there are plenty on play areas to stay entertain both indoor and outdoor. There are smaller animals that you can cuddle at peak times, larger animals that you can possibly feed (if you time it right), and activities every day of school holidays. It's a large space so even in busy days I'd imagine it wouldn't feel overcrowded.
Well worth a visit, we went on an off peak day and still received a friendly and welcoming visit, our tractor ride was with Steve the owner of the farm and it was lovely to hear his story of creating Church Farm.
The farm shop have a great supply of fresh produce, organic foods and local foods. A great place to shop for a treat or for when you're looking for something just a bit different. Our trip was during the award winning asparagus harvest, we got a little taster during our tractor ride and just had to pop into the shop to buy some.

Visited Church Farm Sunday 4th May with family, relatives and friends including six young children to celebrate our granddaughter`s 2nd birthday. Visited as a family with children aged 8 and 4. Plenty to keep them occupied for a morning or afternoon and entrance fee is fair. Once in we only needed to pay additional for crazy golf.

Went here for Grandaughters birthday party. So much for children to do. Wonderful views over Dee Estuary. Glorious weather too not that you can be guaranteed that! Only downside was party room was in glasshouse so extremely hot and it couldn't be secured so someone had to stay behind and look after everything while everyone went off on tractor ride as Farm open to general public at the time of the party.Great place to visit.

We haven't visited the farm attractions, but we are regulars at the shop and cafe, which I cannot fault. Great products, fine service by good people who actually care, and some of the best coffee - and sandwiches - in the north west. The location is beautiful, making it a great base for walking trips.

Over-priced entry fee. Some things are free once inside but other things you have to pay extra for. Other farm parks etc are better value for money. Farmer Ted's being one. Staff are friendly and animals clearly cared for, would have been nice to see a few more types of animal though.

I visited this farm as part of an event, the Spring festival.

It's in an absolutely stunning location, with exellent views. The staff were absolutely lovely. They had lots of activities for children at the farm, so would be a great day out for the family.

I have to say, I got extremely giddy when I saw the 'pac' of alapa's! Adorable! I will be looking up to see what other events they have throughout the year.

Too orientated towards children and the backgound music in the cafe is merely repetativd noise, perhaps aimed at very young kids. The coffee is excellent and the produce on sale looked very nice.

Good hot chocolate and not too expensive, good market, interesting shop. Bit crowded but OK!
Delicious hot chocolate, not too expensive. Exciting market stalls and shop, a bit crowded but ok.

Dangerous for kids, would not recommend to anyone!...

Dangerous for kids, would not recommend to anyone!! hardly any members of staff and leave 16 year olds and maybe younger to clean out dangerous animals, I am aware of this because I had done a work placement here for a few months and my friend had got bit by there pig called spider and had to get rushed in an ambulance to hospital for stitches for her split open leg. Their accommodations for their animals never get cleaned and when we cleaned there where literally 10 wheelbarrows of waste, there animals have cuts, abscess', mites and fleas, they even recently had to have pest control in over their infestation of rats. Donkeys and Shetlands are not trained, they kick and bite. if want to stay in one piece I would honestly stay away.

Had a lovley day with my two boys at the Wandering Words event. The puppet show was brilliant and kept my 1 & 3 year old very entertained. And the tractor ride into the forest with clue hunt was very good to! Always love a good family day out here and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

We visited the place on busy Saturday day so I parked on the far end. The staff were very friendly and explained and showed me around. I bought an ice cream but found a long hair inside so that was the worst part, but the girls gave me a new one so we had nice time, enjoying the lovely view and weather by the tower. There are not too much activities for babies but we'll be back when my little one is a bit bigger. And i both the best tomatoes in England, definitely 10 out of 10!

We went last year had a great time. Tractor ride was good value and you saw all the land and animals on the farm.
Play park, indoor go karts, so something to amuse the kids If the weather turns.Feed the meerkats and other animals, with guides explaining about the animals way of life etc.
Really nice place to visit with friendly staff, even the chickens greeted you as you walked in as allowed to roam free.
Picnic area, drinks, ice creams etc reasonably priced. Admission price reasonable also.
Hoping to return this year for another visit but with covid-19 and having to book proving challenging but we keep trying. Will return even if its next year.

Great day out, lots to do for everyone of all ages.

Always love coming to Church Farm...as someone who lives in London, the surroundings are literally like a breath of fresh air. The animals are obviously well looked after and it's lovely to see children enjoying spending time with them. Thanks to all at Church Farm for their warm and friendly welcome

Excellent trip down memory lane for us. We visited this campsite with cafe and farm shop over 30 years ago and it was a pleasure to visit the cafe again for a warming cappuccino and cake whilst sitting by the roaring log burning fire especially on a rainy day. Lovely village and church with short walk to the waterfront of the Dee estuary.

Called into the cafe today for lunch. Nice relaxed place and cosy. Good coffee and food, at a reasonable price. Service was pretty quick although it was quiet whilst we were there. Surroundings lovely and worth a look around. Looks to be good for kids but ours are older now so thats only an impression.

I visited with my daughter for a party, so can only comment from a party guests perspective.
It was a lovely party, farmer abbie was very professional and informative. She was also very good at keeping the children engaged and under control in a safe way that didn't come across as "school teacher-ish"
The kids had a tractor ride. Fed the Shetland ponies, alpacas, and sheep. Petted a goose. Cuddled guinea pigs. And collected eggs from the hen house. All the while farmer abbie talked about looking after the animals and various ways the farm keeps them safe.
A very good party. Highly recommend

This a great place for young kids. Their seasonal events at Halloween and Christmas are well executed and there's lots of fun things to do, from the giant indoor heated sand pit to the go karts and of course, seeing the animals. Get your pumpkins and Christmas trees there too!
