The worst possible treatment ever. I went in for chest pains, because I am a heart transplant patient of 25+ years, and all they did was make me sit in the ER. I gave them my insurance and they said I STILL HAD TO WAIT. Maybe it was because I used to work there or something? But I decided to leave. I didn't get to the other hospital on time. I had to go via ambulance to UT Southwestern because I had to pull over and call them. I"ll never go there again, and I will NEVER recommend anyone go there. If this was able to rate at 0 stars? I would do it. Horrible treatment for people. I even noticed the ladies that work in the Radiology department talking about past coworkers. They called them lazy, or ugly, or stupid. I even heard them state that one guy that used to work there had a really sweaty butt and he would soak up towels when he used to work there. Very unprofessional. I hate this place.

Omg I just read someone's review and I literally went through the exact thing when I was there. I wonder if it was the same nurse. I asked her for help to the restroom because I was lightheaded. She stood there and watched me struggle getting up. She never helped me and when I asked her for her name she started yelling at me, saying, "you did this last time you were here and I don't have to give you my name ". I was so confused because I didn't even know her. When I asked for someone to assist me because I was not comfortable around her she yelled don't cause a scene. Discharged me with a bp of 157/108. This was the worst hospital experience ever. I would NEVER go back to that hospital.

So I post earlier about little problem I had this morning at this hospital.i assumed and judge them about their service based on my experience this morning. Whithin hours I receive phone call from president of hospital asking me what happened. He listen what I had to say , explained me why it happened. Gave me his cell # and told me to contact him if there ever a problem.
Didn't e expect this kind of response from in such a short time from such higher authority. This shows that they do care and may be what happened this morning was just an isolated incident.
My apology for judging your hospital and staff so quickly.
Thank you

Horrible front desk staff/registration desk. Bad experience, un trained staff, waste patient time figuring out doctors orders or lab orders at the main registration lobby desk. (Aug 18, 11:30am). Do not recommend this place.

Our family has had one bad experience after another with this hospital. This week my daughter has been up there 2 times with kidney stones and sent home even though the lady performing the ultrasound said her right kidney wasn't producing at all and her bladder was still empty after 45 min of an IV. They keep trying to just give her pain meds, but we have been more concerned to why she can't keep fluids down to even pass these stones that are keeping the kidney from working. You can't pass stones if there is nothing in your bladder to come out. Not once did they have a urologist come in to see her. After being discharged the 2nd time, still with no urine output in the last 36 hours, she is just hoping the urologist she scheduled to see tomorrow will do a better job than the worthless people in this ER.

On Sunday I came into the ER with shingles. The ER staff was very helpful in taking care of me. I was given two Medication. One was Acyclovir and the other was Acetaminophen-Cod#3. to help with the pain. Well I am still having pain and I am running out of the Medication. I called today to try and get a refill but was told I would have to come back and get checked out again. My Family Doctor is out of town until the 23rd. So after I run out of the pain pill's then what. That part I am not happy about. great service, But follow on care not all that good.

WIFI FOR GUEST HAS NOT WORKED in the past 4 visit...

WIFI FOR GUEST HAS NOT WORKED in the past 4 visits to MMMC. On 4/28 I brought my Windows laptop, my android tablet, my apple ipod, and my phone because I was going to be waiting a on my partner and needed to get work done while I waited, having never been able to access WIFI from general waiting areas, Nuclear medicine and ER.
IF METHODIST can spend 80 MILLION DOLLARS on EPIC computer systaem, AND, IF the "customers " are So valued and important, WHY can a hospital not have a WIFI systaem that works in waiting areas. Patients sit on there nervous waiting to be called back, yet cannot check facebook, mail, or send texts. EPIC FAIL on customer service and marketing!!!! Every device the patient and I tried to connect with, either "failed to obtain I address", or just would not pick up. I was told that the signal was not strong enough. WHAT??!!?? in 2017??? We tried WITH and WITH OUT WIFI settings, to no avail. GET WITH IT METHODIST!!!! Part of being at a hospital is waiting. Lots of it. If you can afford the new computer system and all of the training, can't you get a WIFI that WORKS?
While waiting on my partner in Nuclear medicine for a Cardiac stress test, and after EXPLAINING that I needed information, we were told an hour total, YET, after nearly TWO hours, and hearing the staff being PAID to sit around on the other side of the wall chatting and laughing, I had to shout aloud to get anyone's attention to find out what was happening , which was NOTHING!! The doctor had been unavoidably detained, which, as an RN, Do realize that it happens. That was all that had to be said. However, what was inexcusable, was leaving a terrified patient waiting on a stress test ALONE in a stretcher in a room, when their family member was stressing and waiting literally 20 paces away. The RN appeared annoyed to have been disturbed , but finally "allowed" me to go sit and wait with my partner, who was receiving No treatments of any kind, just scared, uncomfortable, and all alone, AND there was a chair already in the room. I truly hope this RN has the shoe on the other foot one day, and has to wait alone, with NO communication or information about the one she loves.By the way, the patient reported to me afterwards, that when giving the second dose of Atropine during the stress test, the same RN used a used alcohol prep pad and did NOT clean the septum of the IV site prior to injection of the atropine, which, I bet would NOT happen with Joint Commission in the building. MMMC better hope no phlebitis or infection happens at the IV site. A little something the CDC loves to call SAFE INJECTION PRACTICES, and Infection control. The tech and the doctor were wonderful!! However, I think this RN needs to go into research, or somewhere where she is not dealing with patients or families. The extra hour of waiting, with absolutely NO information, or explanation offered (your partner is not dead, we are unavoidably behind, would have been a simple place to start), is insensitive AND not patient OR family friendly. The medication reconciliation form I was handed, had NO patient signature, no patient name, and no RN signature anywhere on it, which I guess is perfect for HIPAA, because there was not One patient identifier was on it. However, I don't believe the form is filled out completely unless a patient's name or ID number is on it, and any signatures are present. The visit went fine thanks to the doctor and the technician, however, extremely disappointed with the RN care, the severe lack of communication, AND the fact that MMMC has NO WORKING WIFI on any device, in any waiting room, yet can spend millions on a new computer system, baffles me.

I can t even to begin to describe how awesome and amazing my experience was here! I gave birth 3/22 and the staff was phenomenal! This was my third pregnancy and I had the most wonderful experience anyone could have when having a baby. My labor and delivery nurse Tracy was such a sweetheart and you could truly tell she enjoys her work! Thank you Methodist Mansfield for providing my family and I with such wonderful patient care wish I had my other children here as well !!!

I delivered my first baby at this hospital I loved it, my room was beautiful, I had a smooth labor and delivery. The nurses were all very kind. The only thing I had trouble with was they kept messing up my IV, my arm started to swell because they didn't do it correctly.

I brought my grown son to the hospital yesterday 5...

I brought my grown son to the hospital yesterday 5-28-17 around 7am. 2 hours later he was told he was going to be admitted and sent up to his room and the process would take about hour. Mind you my son is in a wheelchair because he has Duchennes muscular dystrophy so he can not walk , move, feed himself, or do anything for himself he is a total adult care patient...i tell the ER nurse that we will need a lift, air support mattress, bed side commode, etc etc for his needs and care. she says ok, she will give the info to his care team NOW at 1130 ish am before arrivial to his room. So at almost 2 pm a full 7 hours later he gets a room. We get to the room and there's no air mattress, and im told its on its way and it will be about 30 minutes before its arrival. So okay no big deal.. we go to transport him to his bed and get him comfortable and there is no working lift on the unit.wow ..so im told they are going to get one from another unit.. meanwhile, his dad and I put him in the bed ourselves, with no help. So now its about 330ish pm..so i explain to the nurse his situation and show her how to care for him.. she assures me that they do 2 hour turn checks on all non mobile patients and that all his other needs will be handled and he will be checked on every hour due to his condition. Menwhile, no lift, no air matress has yet to arrive. Time now 430pm. We our exhausted so we leave our son who is grown in there care and told they will explain and show the next shift his care and need and not to worry he be fine..

At 615pm i call his nurse to check on him and he is okay. she holds phone to his ear and he states he ok. At 10:35 pm i do a pop up visit and to my horror i walk in the room my son door is closed mind u he can not do anything for himself nor call for help. My son is lying under a little bed pan on his back with his condition in pain and distress and very upset and said no one could get him to the bedside commode and 3 people almost droped him on the floor and please help him and get that pan off him it was causing pain. So now his nurse and tech and everyone wants to come in the room because they see us and assist us with him. of course that didnt go well and when i asked why was he left alone like that i didnt get a answer, when i asked were is the lift? why didnt u use it. I was told that there was no working lift on the unit its broke.. wow....his dad and i get him to the restroom ourselves, and back to bed. i make my compliants known to charge nurse, night supervisor and all. By 11pm a lift was at his door. Wow... we deside to stay the night with him to see how he's care and needs would continue to be handled at this point.. what a shock no one returns to assist him, ask him his needs or do any 1 or 2 hour check, turns and adjustments in his bed at all. The charge nurse comes in at 130am and between that time and 640am no one comes to help him, turn him, assist us NOTHING...

It is now may 29th and at shift change finally his new tech comes in at 640am explains who she is etc and leaves. Ok no big deal. Then at 725am his new nurse comes in and tells me I'm his new nurse and i be back. i politely tell him thanks, but the patient is in the bed. This nurse tells me "he sleep". Wth!! I say sir, he is the patient wake him up and tell him who you are and the care youwill be provided him because, he is patient and im only here becuse he is not being treated right. He gets a attitude wakes my son up and now its 910am and im pissed off this is not how you treat people and i should not have to stay and babysit to make sure my grown son is cared for by the values and mission statement that this hospital says they up hold to. Ridiculous....this hospital deserves no STARS!!

Aweful experience !!! Dr did MRI imaging for numbness I had...upon findings met with neurologist dr nieto he is a fraud !!! Did not discuss findings of imaging...asked if I had insurance and advised me that I needed to come to his clinic to see him and that I would need meds for the rest of my life but would not confirm what the MRI findings were....stayed in the hospital for 4 days receiving steroids that did absolutely nothing for my condition and never came back after initial meeting to see how I was doing on steroids...he was very rude and arrogant...my question is to that a$$h@(e is "who gave you cured !" Not treated, but cured...this hospital is aweful.... the nurses and staff are pleasant and polite but I had to ask if they had done any testing to see if my nutrient values were where they should be...the refused !!! Eventually got a nurse to order the testing for me.... neurologist dr nieto is TERRIBLE !!! I would never trust him with my well being treated me and my heath situation like a business transaction!!!

Horrible . From the start of the of schedule appointment for surgery on February 27, 5am. The staff turned our son that has Autism along with number of other health conditions against us. We made arrangements to have Ryan stay after the procedure to be stable. Making more money instead of patient care is Methodist hospital objective. This Hospital is not trained or qualified to held child or child with special needs. Please review all the low star ratings they indicate problems with services. Patient s do your research before booking your appointments.

These reviews are concerning and the fact the complaints all follow suit, is even more concerning. I work for a major hospital w/ outpatient rehabs as well as urgent cares, etc. I would never want to see so many unhappy people for my employer and if so, I'd expect a major overhaul.

My mother is currently at this location and I was highly appalled w/ the care she is receiving. She has been there before and the first time, I loved everyone who tended to her. From the Dr., the Nurses, the complete staff; they made sure she was comfortable and at ease. This time, I can't say that was the case. I will address what stood out more than the others, her IV. They didn't insert her IV correctly and her fluid was injected under her skin. Her whole arm going down to the hand, was swollen. When they came in next, they took her vitals and never noticed how swollen she was. To me, that's alarming. I wish she were able to visit one of my hospitals, but sadly, we don't have one in her immediate area.

I want to recommend this hospital to anyone considering it. I recently went to the ER with severe dizziness and nausea. I was admitted to the ER right away and tests were performed. The staff was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I felt like I was in great hands. Then I was admitted to the hospital. It was an inner ear / imbalance condition. Over the course of the next few days I received excellent care. Everyone treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. It was as good of an experience as being in the hospital could be.

I was there a week ago in pain . Dr was very arrogant. His communication was not good .gave me a prescription for medicine that I could not take. It was on my chart. The nurse did more explaining than he did . She offered something different .why should I take something that will have me back at the hospital.
Everyone is not looking for a drug fix. Like myself I am still sick. Bottom line. I have insurance. But I pray if I get sick this is not where my family will take me.

My mom was sent to the ER there from the a local s...

My mom was sent to the ER there from the a local skilled nursing home and they missed up everything that they could. Lets start with losing all of the records that where sent in with her. Next it took 5 hours to get her a bed after they said that she needed admitting. Sense they had none of the records that where sent over I spent a hour going over her last 2.5 months. This included 2 major points. Number one she has PTSD from being abused by my dad followed by a man trying to pry open her balcony sliding glass door to attack her and than 7 years latter a man Grabbing her, shooting her in the back and throwing her to the ground. Because of this she has panic attacks when a strange man wakes her. I explained all of this and requested that only male nurses be assigned to her. I repeated this Tues. and Wed night to come in on Thurs. Night and find the only male nurse on the floor assigned to her. Next during the 2nd time (this was the third time) of C-DIF she developed an arterial bleeder in her lower intestines that took 3 claps to stop and almost caused them to have to take her to the O.R. and cut her open so she was not to have a recital tube for 8 weeks unless it was an medical necessity and I was to be called before one was put in. I walk in Wed. and guess what is in her. I pitch a fit and make both Doctors call me and they both say that they did not know this if they had they never would have used it. So where is the break down I tell the nurse and the doctors and the nurse that installed it for that matter have not read her charts. Next on Thursday I see that she cannot swallow and ask the nurse and request speech therapy and show them why. Come in Friday night and nope not down. Show them why and come in Monday night and not only has it not been done but SHE woke up and could not move her legs and buzzed the nurse. When they came in she told them her blood surger was low. Yep 34 so they try and give her a couple of apple juices and then over 30 minutes latter give her the shot of D50 which should have been the first step. She was not set to have her blood sugar checked and if she had not waked she for sure would have gone into insulin shock that could had caused her death. Again Sunday night I had showed the nurse that she had not eaten her dinner but she was still given a full dose of long acting insulin. Finally they had the speech therapist see her on Tues. He changed her seating position was changed and the type of food was changed so that she could eat. By now I am just trying to get her out of there and back to the skilled nursing center. I was told by the doctor on Wed. that she would be sent back on Friday and asked that it be in the morning so that all of there rehab staff could see her. On Thurs. I saw the case manager and asked again. On Friday they did everything that they could to drag it out and did not release her till 4 PM. This included the nurse leaving her in middle of checking her out and making her and the ambulance team wait while she did the person the in room start to finish and than disappeared into another room for 15 minutes. In short there is no coordination of care. The right hand does not talk to the left and this lead to life threatening conditions in her care.
UM of Mansfield stop putting meaning emails addresses in the responses here and see that something it really wrong and that if not fixed one of these days it is going to kill someone before it does. I have left instructions that she is to be sent to Baylor all Saints and not here unless time is too important

Your posting here supports my point. To truly fix ans show that you mean to create change one must be PROACTIVE. My real name is in the post. I sited real dangers in my post. IF.... you where truly worried you could look up my last name and find my moms records and my phone number and reach out to and call me. Instead you just post a phone number and email a Truly proactive response. With what I have posted you should be truly scared, Review the record and an Director or VP should be reaching to me

This hospital has went completely downhill. Their no care attitude is definitely seen. My grandson was born at this hospital. They didn t care he had jaundice. They didn t know when was the last time he ate they just told my daughter to keep trying to breastfeed and bout time they were about to discharge him he had not had a bowel movement but none of that mattered to them until I showed it definitely mattered to me. Today I went to the ER, sat there 3 hours for an x-ray. No doctor ever came and touched me, listened to my chest. No blood was drawn. After I got restless the doctor informed me I had pneumonia and told me to go home and continue doing what haven t worked. Now I m home in pain, weak as ever and praying my doctor tomorrow can take my condition serious. This used to be a good hospital not sure what happened but I won t be back

So my doubts were turned around. Megan, you are so awesome and patient with every request I threw at you. You kept your composure and took the time to answer everything thoroughly. And Kirsten, you are a champ among many! You helped me during the day and you were so quiet, I didn't hear you come in a few times. Thank you Methodist of Mansfield for making us feel better in our decision to come here. Also, thank you Dr. Parcells and staff for making me laugh and making my husband smile before surgery. It takes a staff like this to turn around a negative review. Thank you so much

I don't usually take time to write reviews, but I happened to notice only a 3 star here and felt that might not be accurate for the quality of this hospital. I cannot speak for every area of the hospital, but I have been to the Labor/ Delivery /Recovery section 4 times in the last 4 years. Prior to choosing Mansfield Methodist for the delivery of my 1st child I had 2 friends that had positive experiences here with their deliveries. It is clean, the staff are great, I had no complications with the epidurals I received or any of my deliveries, which were all vaginal including my set of twins, and I was taken care of very well after delivery in the recovery rooms. Only 1 of my twins required 2 days in the NICU to monitor his breathing, and staff offered help to sit with his sister (who was with me) as they could so I could go check on my son. Now, with all of that said I have to admit my stays were all planned and scheduled besides my 1st child, and sometimes things may not go as well in areas like the ER, or in any case where something unexpected comes up. However, with all of the staff I encountered including those in the Reception area, I have no complaints. Also, the facility itself seems to be taken care of and kept up well.

I usually have a good experience, but I went yesterday and it was horrible they did not help me at all they put me in a cold triage room for 2 hours and would not give me a blanket. the doc said she would give me the steroids and other meds i needed when there was a room available but she just came in and gave me scripts in the triage room. I only went to the hospital because i was in extreme pain because of my bulging disc. I had stayed there in full almost 4 hours in extreme pain and she just sent me home with a script. I will never go there again as long as they keep that doctor

This is the absolutely worst hospital in Texas, I would avoid at all costs.

I was in a car wreck in April 2016, I went to this hospital and was treated.

I received a bill (I m assuming from the hospital) and begin payments. After saving money and cutting out expenses I paid it off!

June 16 2020 I receive a threatening phone call from their billing department. I spoke to Esther Gonzalez and she was extremely rude and couldn t tell me what I paid off or why I didn t receive a bill 4 years and 2 months ago. She demanded I pay over $1100 immediately. I politely told her that I m not paying anyone who blindly calls me up and says I owe them money without proof.

Why was I never billed??? This hospital is a joke, how can their internal records be so bad that they never billed me for 4 years??? I wouldn t trust this hospital with any of my important information and I would discourage others from wasting their time and money here.

So many good hospitals to choose from, don t make the same mistake I made and use Methodist Mansfield Medical Center.

I got 3 different stories on my tests from 3 different individuals and then was told by the ER doctor that I was to be kept over night for observation. BE ADVISED!!!! There is a big difference in being kept for observation as opposed to being admitted!! The hospital filed my claim as being as out-patient even though I was in the hospital overnight. If they had admitted me, it was only going to cost me 250.00 copay. Since they put me in as out-patient it is going to cost me over 1,000.00!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
THE WORD "EMERGENCY" HAS NO VALUE AT THIS PLACE. If you're sick and you need EMERGENCY care please don't come here; you'll sit in a room for 6 hours before you're even seen by a Dr and then another 4 hours before they give you any pain medication. BY THEN YOU'RE NEAR DEATH!!!! Oh most important thing that i forgot to say was it took them about 2 mins after they assigned us to a room to get our insurance information and collect our $100 CO-PAY.
YOU DO THE MATH!!!!

We were at this hospital for 10 days during my dad last days. The staff was great overall, with most nurses, techs, and the chaplains being very kind and responsive. The doctors mostly appeared hurried and some definitely need to work on being kinder to stressed families. The hospital itself is well maintained and pretty. I am a healthcare professional with many years of hospital experience and I was pleased overall with my dad's care there.

Looks like it's going to be another 9 1/2 day here at this hospital. I checked into the ER around 1030. Haven't heard anything yet. I was placed in an exam room and have not heard anything from the doctor or the nurse. I hit the call button for them to send the nurse into the room, because I was nauseated. Needless to say she never showed up. So basically I just have to sit here in pain and vomit on myself. I do realize they have other patients they have to take care of. My patience with this hospital has ran out.

My mother was in this hospital in August 2020. There was no pass down of information & no one cared or cared to call her caretakers. The doctor didn t follow up on things. He assumed things. When my sister & I visited, the nurses said they were busy with lunch & wouldn t come to see what my mom needed in her room. Forget about them seeing if she needed anything. Her buzzer on her bed kept going off on accident. The hospital may be fairly new but the care and help was disastrous. It was bad enough that we couldn t see her until her Covid tests were done, but they overcharged for things that were never done & the staff couldn t pass down any information. This is not a place that cares, especially for an elderly person.

I was in the hospital and became confused. Apparently I was hard to handle. As my mind started clearing up, some of the nurses decided to retaliate. I spent the remainder of the night being humiliated by a small group of nurses. I don't think they know how alert I had become. Maybe they thought I wouldn't remember. As soon as the day shift nurse came on duty we had a nice conversation. A couple of hours later, I was discharged. If your loved one is confused, stay with them. Don't leave them alone, especially if they can be difficult

My mother is 90 years old and was admitted to Methodist Mansfield with stroke-like symptoms. I never once received a proactive call from anyone at this facility for the entire week my mother was there. I had to call every day just for basic updates on her condition (I live out of state). The attending doctor in the hospital wanted to send her to HealthSouth for 2-3 weeks of intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We've been through the PT/OT process for other reasons in the past and it's very strenuous for a 90-year-old to do 3 therapy sessions/day. My mother recovered about 98% with no therapy at all, and now we're doing 3 therapy sessions per WEEK (not per day) on an outpatient basis. The worst part is the lack of personal hygiene at this facility. Based on what I've found out so far, she probably never had her teeth brushed during the entire stay, and after talking to the nursing manager, they have no record as to whether they did or didn't brush her teeth. I also seriously doubt she had a shower or bath of any kind based on the body odor when she was transported back to her assisted living facility. The nursing manager told me my mother declined her shower/bath more than once and they NEVER reached out to me or anyone else in the family to let us know. Instead, they let an elderly lady with dementia call the shots on her personal hygiene? The hospital policy is supposed to be - brush teeth at least once/day and shower every day or at least every other day. My mother was there from Monday to Monday and never received a bath or shower or any other personal hygiene. In this situation, they should've reached out to me (my name/number was on the board in her room the whole time) the first time she declined a shower or brushing her teeth. Instead of asking someone with dementia if they want to take a shower and brush their teeth, they should just come in and say it's time for your shower and to brush your teeth and make it happen. There wouldn t have been any issues if it were handled this way. Personal hygiene should be nursing 101 in a hospital environment. Totally disgusted that they allowed this to happen with no proactive contact by the hospital. I'm still waiting for the nursing manager to call me back to explain, but it seems there is no explanation... Over a full 7 day period she came in contact with several nurses and nobody took any responsibility to make sure she was taken care of properly.

Very, very slow process here... Don't waste your time here... your loved one could get worse perhaps even death before the doctor decides what to do. My wife has been here 3 days now and has been given nothing but pain medication,.. We're here to correct the problem not take pain meds for 3 days... We could have stayed at home and taken the pain meds there then come back. And the pain meds are causing constipation which is making things worse.. Please choose wisely on a hospital, do not bring your loved one here...

They made up for everything with tonight's meeting with the doctor. Our situation didn't end well, but the family left with knowledge and comfortable in the decisions made. I truly wish that same compassion and consideration could have happened from the beginning, but thank goodness this grieving family had this end. Thank you.

Original post: 1 star. We can't get information. Our girl has been in icu all day and no one has come to talk to us. No one. It's so frustrating. I can't believe we're having this issue in today's day and age. Very bad communication and terrible bedside manner. Strongly suggest you go anywhere else.

My son just celebrated his 1 year birthday. He was born at Methodist Mansfield in March 2015. The labor and delivery side was fantastic but once my wife and baby were wheeled to the recovery side the experience went straight downhill. First, the only lights were emergency lights. We were told it was because of the construction being done at the time. The toilet in the room didn't flush either. Any idea what that's like for a woman recovering from giving birth? Again we were told it was due to construction. My wife's nurse was terrible. First thing see did was to go over the rules then proceeded to state in front of our family that although there were certain "quiet times" during the day if people showed up they wouldn't be asked to leave. Really??!! We were looking forward to those quiet times especially my recovering wife. Then there is their baby ID security check system which 90% of the time no one did correctly. Unfortunately on the day we were supposed to check out, a half hour before leaving the pediatrician suggested mom and baby stay one more night due to a small medical concern. Ok. Better safe than sorry. No sooner had the doctor left the room the sink next to the bed had a major backup. Sewage was actually overflowing onto the floor. I had to get the nurse who ushered myself, wife and baby into another room. Finally, the nurse that came in soon after to check on my wife decided to play a game of semantics when my wife requested a water bottle so she could clean our baby's circumcision area. Well, actually first she said "it wasn't necessary" then when we told her that it was what the doctor wanted and so that's what we want she tried to play it off like a language barrier (she didn't speak English very well).

We brought it to the charge nurses attention and she politely apologized for everything we had been through. She told us that "higher ups" we're made aware of our situation and all we had been through and that they would be down to visit us the following morning to discuss some type of rectification. Well, the next morning came and no one showed up.

Except for the birth of our beautiful son this was Not a good experience.

The nurses talk very bad about pts out at the nurses station and you can hear every word they say. They treat patients like they are fakers before even doing lab work or xrays and you have to beg them to do them to prove why you are there. I had to go there for years until I moved away and got to see baylor scott and white and how amazing and professional they are. Now I moved back to Mansfield only to try to move back just to have a better resource for my disease. It's worth the drive, even in an emergency!!

This hospital showed show much class and professionalism! I m so grateful to have had my father there in such a traumatic life altering time. Dr. Shelley Lenamond was absolutely amazing and cared for not only my father but me as well. She really took her job above and beyond for all of us. She understood my fathers needs and made sure they were always met, but she also understood my needs and made sure I was well informed and that is something rare right now. I recommend this hospital and their staff over any other one I have dealt with in the past decade and that s a lot! The food was amazing as well as the staff. Thank you so much!

Last September, my wife woke up with abdominal pain. We went to Methodist Family Health in Midlothian and were seen by the Nurse Practitioner, Angela Cheatham. She ran a few tests and found out my wife tested positive for pregnancy. Though we were initially excited, she wanted to send us to Methodist Mansfield to have an ultrasound done to rule out an ectopic. They found that one of my wife s ovaries had burst, that she was bleeding internally and had already lost over 500mL of blood. Dr. Trivedi and the ER staff at Methodist Mansfield prepped her for surgery and Dr. Kindred and her team were able to repair the ovary and save my wife s life. Today we celebrate the first week of our new baby girl who was born at Methodist Mansfield by Dr. Krombach. If not for Angela s attention to detail, the quick response of Dr. Trivedi and the ER staff at Methodist Mansfield, and the highest standard of care provided by Dr. Kindred and her team back in September my wife would not be here today and we would not be celebrating the arrival of our new baby girl. Thank you to all the staff in the Methodist Health System for all that you do!!!

Went to the ER for grandson who has sickle cell and per drs order if he spikes a temp to get him there quickly, so we did. After trying to start an IV 4 times and not able to get blood they transferred us to cook s children s hospital. At cooks first thing they did was check his ears. Bingo source of infection found, you would have thought someone at Methodist would have looked... not going back there.

I delivered my second child at Methodist. From
the moment I arrived at L&D in labor I was escorted back with smiles. The doctor arrived in the triage room while I was filling out consents. During the whole labor and delivery process I was treated with respect and my wishes on delivery were met. This experience was a million times better then my previous birth at a competitors facility. I am in amazement of the food, staff caring and promptness to my needs, also the birth & newborn photography. Anymore children will always be delivered at a Methodist facility! Thank you!

My daughter is pregnant. Went to the ER with cramping and heavy bleeding. After 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room...she still has yet to be seen. What on earth does it take for a patient to be seen. This should never happen to anyone. Regardless of COVID-19 conditions. And the staff member that spoke with her on arrival was put out by having to deal with anyone. Of this is how you act you are in the wrong profession.

Mother baby experience was good, labor and delivery experience was bad as was experience with registration. There are definitely caring people who work here but when an employee is bad, they are really bad and talking to upper management makes no difference. Theyes do not take your concerns seriously.

My dad was admitted thru the emergency, he was taken by ambulance. The took him in right away, started taking tests on him right away, they were super thorough. Found out he had pneumonia. The hospital is very clean, the staff is very nice, not only to the patient but to the family. We were very pleased with this hospital. I would highly recommend. The food is delicious from the cafeteria. The 2 doctors that saw him were very patient and took the time to listen to my mom explain my fathers health. Also, the case worker was so nice in getting my mom more help after we left the hospital. I give this hospital and staff 5 stars!

My daughter's Grandma unexpectedly past away last night at your Emergency Room. We arrived after she had already past away.
I was shocked that the ventilator tube etc. were still left on and in her and was not respectfully removed.
Also your Patient Care Services RN (Meredith)on duty last night was less than helpful to the deceased son's looking for direction to be in contact with the Chaplain and next steps. Your RN seemed inconvenienced while stating "were is the pamplet you got? the number is on the back." What???!!! Is this your Hospital's protocol to help a family in shock that are not familiar with next steps??? Shameful display of lack of compassion and a quality caring RN!

My baby girl was born in this beautiful hospital. I like it very much. The nurses are very helpful, sweet, caring, and always smiling. The rooms are spacious and you get your own room after giving birth for two days. Many hospitals make moms share rooms after giving birth. The nurses were kind to take the baby at night for 6 hours, so we can take some rest and sleep. My experience was really good. I highly recommend it.

Every baby born here is a miracle baby but not just because of the physical condition of the baby but because of the great care and love you get from all the aid nurses, doctors, and the NICU nurses! They really made me and my wife feel at home as she was on bed rest for six weeks. I literally can go on and on complimenting them but long story short i highly recommend this hospital to deliver your precious little gift!

My wife and I spent last night in Labor & Delivery...

My wife and I spent last night in Labor & Delivery while the first process of induction was put into place. Through all the cramping and throwing up, my wife couldn t be more thankful for SHETERA (If I spelled it wrong I apologize). Shetera was her nurse that helped her through the night. I ve gotta say, she is the sweetest, kindest, and most professional nurse I ve ever encountered.

Shetera took the time to explain everything she was doing and answer the millions of questions we had. When my wife was feeling sick, Shetera was BEYOND supportive and helpful. My wife couldn t stop talking about how awesome the nurse was and we were both extremely thankful we had her. Shetera went the extra mile on every interaction with us and helped my wife through an uncomfortable night. I can t say enough nice things about her, however she is amazing and deserves a lot more praise than I could possibly give her.

If you re having a baby at this hospital, pray you end up with her as a nurse. She alleviates a lot of stress and makes you feel like you re the only patient in the entire hospital.

I'm sure everyone has different experiences when it comes to going to the hospital. Some are positive and some are just troubling to say the least. To me I don't need to read any further into the way this Hospital operates. Seeing with my own eyes is enough to NEVER come here again. They better hope that my sister makes it out okay from the hospital SHE DID get accepted in today because if she does not, OMG... I will do whatever it takes to sue the hell out of these hospital.

My sister has been complaining of chest pains. She went to this Hospital this past Monday. They told her she is congested and gave her pills. Wednesday (2 days later) she goes back out there complaining of pain again and ONCE again they sent her away because she is just simply congested.

Today, she was rushed to another Hospital and was quickly accepted with pneumonia. She is bad and we do not understand why Methodist in Mansfield was so negligent and stupid to let her go. Do you have any idea how many have died due pneumonia? Do you even care for any patient.. Your main page on the website says "Committed to our community. Committed to your care"... Really. Do you really expect for me to believe that. Instead the website your say " Committed to take your money even if you love one dies under our care"... This is unreal how the system works, unreal.... Again, Methodist at Mansfield better hope and pray my sister makes it out of this. They will know and remember my name forever..

I live in the Mansfield area therefore I always bring my kids to this hospital. I can't complain this by far one of the best hospitals I've been to. In all my experiences they always made sure they ran enough tests and walked out with some sort of medication. Unlike other hospitals they don't just discharge you empty handed. Very clean environment. Nurses aren't super friendly but do get the job done. Brought my daughter in and tested positive for the Flu Dr. Lo was very nice. Since the hospital expanded the ER and discharge wait time has become longer but can't compare to JPS or Cookchildrens in Fort Worth.
