So I called to complain about Rescom Windows...the sales guy came last night and quoted us about $30k to replace all our windows which honestly wasn't to bad for the quality of the window but what happened after that was just not right. So that price is good for 1 year then he gives us the discounted price if we decide in 90days which is 2500 less. That was also great. Then he says if we agree right now and give him a down payment it is another 4000 off. Who in their right mind agrees to spend $24,000 without doing some research into the company first. Note we did not call them we must have filled out an interest card at a home show.

So I called them today to complain about what the sales guy said at the end when we asked for a business card because it is something we are interested in...he said "why its not like your going to call and spend $4000 more if you can't decide right now there is no point"

This just shows me that they have something to hide since they want you to agree and sign a contract without giving you the ability to look into them.

We have had the best experience with Rescom. We ve installed all new windows and our front door and today we just purchased our last product. A new door for the garage. Products are excellent. We couldn t be happier!! Highly recommend using them for windows and doors!

Gave my name at Charlestown RI seafood festival for chance to win 36K of free windows. Bah. The salesman came at 6:30 right on time with his briefcase and a trainee with him. I was told that I had snowballs chance in hell to win windows and I should listen to him about how great his windows were. He was an asset hole at the start. Told him I want the free estimate and wasn't doing to sit and listen to him for 2 hours tell me how great his windows are. No estimate unless he ran his sale pitch. I told him he had half an hour and I was going to have estimate or boot him. He left saying a semi threat about his main office calling. What a buffoon run company.

Good quality window, excellent to be honest which is why they deserve a one instead of a zero. They have a lousy sales pitch, high pressure tactics, and laughably high prices.

An obscenely long sales pitch was followed up by the final proposal of $41K+. This so called quote (good for a year) and written in hand on a blank piece of paper was the "retail price but there are ways to get it down." No thanks.

Then the pitch was that if I made a purchase within the next 90 days they would take 20% off reducing it to $33K. No thanks.

Then he had to call his manager and the pitch was they could do a little better if I helped them out because "you have to give to get" and if my wife and I were willing to appear in an online ad for them, put money down, and buy on the spot, they would take 30% off bringing it down to $29K. No thanks.

Then it became that if we just agreed to do 4 windows we could "lock in this price for as long as it takes to do the whole house." Seriously? No.

The next day they called back and stated that my neighborhood may qualify as a "special promotion" neighborhood where I could get an even better price as there are a large number of old houses around my home. Now this was starting to get fun. I told the guy to send me a proposal to which he replied that the manager would have to come see the neighborhood and come by my house. He stated that the manager had to be there and I told him that the manager was free to look at the neighborhood but would not be entering my house. He asked if I wasn't interested in a better price and I told him I'd happily review the company's proposal and give it due consideration. At that point he hung up. Sorry, no sale.

I do like the windows ordered, don't get me wrong but I felt so pressured to buy them then and there when meeting with our sales rep who came to the house in 2014 (we bought 10 on the spot). He returned in 2015 after I received a phone call and set up an appointment about special pricing due to an anniversary year. Needless to say the pricing was the same for a front door and back sliding door LESS, as well as 6 picture windows (which don't open, no grids) LESS than my initial qoute which covered the whole house (all new windows and new doors) Not sure how less merchandise came to numbers comparable to what I was first given a quote for.

Oh. And I never got a follow up call regarding the 2nd sales attempt. Odd considering they did an excellent job following up on the first sale.

I haven't ordered the remaining windows or doors.

For the price alone, I had expected a little more on their end (company and satisfaction wise). The windows speak for themselves.

These windows are the best. The salesman ,Paul Robertson was very helpful and only sold what we needed. The install only took 1 day and were professional and even cleaned up and vacuumed!!
I'm looking forward to a warmer home this winter and many more to come. I would recommend Rescom to everyone. Thank you for everything you did for us.

Good luck getting your windows installed after you order them, they keep telling us to take time off from our job for them to come do the install then they back out. Weird that we work right I mean doesn't everyone have 10s of thousands of dollars lying around for windows?

Bought several new windows last March and we are very satisfied with them. The installation was done in one day. We decided to have the remaining windows done this year so we didn't hesitate to have Rescom return to finish what they started.

Rescom Exteriors is amazing! They came and replaced 5 windows and a sliding door. Not only was it extremely affordable, we are amazed at the quality. We feel extra secure and are amazed at the energy efficiency of these windows. We have even stopped supplemental heat. The salesman Rob is extremely knowledgeable and the crew that did the installation is amazingly professional. We will definitely be using Rescom again to do more windows and doors.

Just met with Paul Robertson and John this afternoon. About a year ago I had windows put in and I've been very pleased with the quality, the appearance and the great insulation that they provide. The service and support from start to finish has been excellent. Paul is excellent in presentation and knowledge with an easygoing business demeanor to match. I've just agreed to finish off the rest of the house (5 final windows) effective this date and look forward to another excellent experience. And I will post another review on completion.

I purchased 2 windows for the front of my house to replace the older 1980's style window with grids that didn't open.. Less than 3 weeks from the time we met with Doug Hunter the window was installed! The top window is an awing and the lower window slides open. The installers were only here from 8 until just before noon. He asked me what I wanted for molding and even put a little shelf in for me! It was done exactly as I wanted. It gives the outside of the house a facelift and some much needed air flow for inside. Oh, and no grids!! Now I want to do the whole house! And I will use Rescom again!

We had replaced all of our aluminum-cased 1960's style windows in 1998 with another company's inferior vinyl clad product. All window seals were failing by 2010 and the windows became cloudy and opaque. The installation company went out of business and we without recourse! In steps our rescuers: RESCOM!! We told them up front we could not afford to replace all our windows and front door all at once. RESCOM's salesman, Paul Robertson, worked with us to make it affordable over several years, replacing two to three per year. Today, 3/6/2018, the last 5 were completed! Paul is real gentleman with refreshing old-fashioned work ethic, low pressure and solid belief in the product. He sold us! While the windows are not inexpensive, (we already went that route and learned the hard way you get what you pay for!) the quality and appearance of the RESCOM USA-made Bristol window is exceptional and completely justifies the cost. The installation crews are professional, all business and clean up after themselves. The product guarantee is beyond reproach. One window, installed in 2013 and under the guarantee, needed to be replaced, and it was done with no questions and no hassles! We are beyond thrilled with the look and quality of these windows and know they enhance the overall appearance and energy efficiency of our home. We highly recommend RESCOM!! Steve and Brenda G

Went to a home show this weekend. And the guy at the stand was so rude that I no longer wanted to give him my business. Reading the other reviews I can see why they're doing so bad. Just poor customer service. And poor people interaction skills.

Terrible experience. They didn't show up for our first "free estimate" appointment - apparently they went to the wrong state. We rescheduled and I got a call 10 minutes after our appointment time telling me they would be there in 20 minutes. Not a good start. When the salesman "John" finally got here I told him I had recently done the same thing with Power Home Remodeling and didn't want to go through a long presentation about window qualities, rather just get the estimate. He then proceeded to give his speech and demonstration of the windows. I cut him off several times explaining that I didn't want top of the line windows. His response was that I needed to do more research on windows and kept trying to show me high end windows. Then he claimed that if we spent say $20k on windows our home would be worth $20k more if a Realtor sold our house. I AM A REALTOR and this is not true! His response again was that I needed to do more research. At this point I told him to leave and he said that's okay I get $75 regardless for the visit. I would never use this company based on this experience. I was not listened to at all and felt disrespected by the salesman.

Got told a 45 min est instead got a three hour history lesson and when we told them they over stayed the guy was not even willing to wrap it up and leave good product but won't buy use them because I was so put off by my first meeting

Paid $16,000 for new Bristol windows with the promise to save 45% off electric bill. Although a nice looking window, it didn't lessen my bill AT ALL. Had sticking issues with windows, was told to use a furniture spray. fine, worked well for awhile, until the tracks got so dirty from the wax! Was told would cost $75 to have someone come out and look at my windows when they are supposed to be lifetime warranty. What a rip!

Somehow got our information from a home show we were at even though we never approached anyone about doors or windows while there. Probably took it off one of those enter to win raffle slips all the booths have. Since we had thought of possibly replacing both front doors down the road we figured why no go ahead and let them come out and get our free estimate so we would know what the projywould cost when we were ready to do it. The salesman was fine and your typical salesman with pitches and moderate pressure. I will say the product looks better quality then most. Only reason they get two stars. However price is astronomical. $13000 for two doors. Let that sink in for a second. I have a quote to remodel my whole full bathroom from down to studs for less. Was told we picked high end so we went back and picked from the lowest end and came back $12000 for the two doors. After a couple of sales pitches the price became $10000. Was told they were not doors they were Entery systems. If you like way overspending for doors oh sorry entry systems then they are the company for you. Otherwise, you can buy the highest end door at your local home improvement store, hire an installer that specializes in doors and still pay only a fraction of what they were going to charge you.

The sales pitch is brutal. You have to sit through three hours (not exaggerating) having a salesman read from a binder to you about why their products are great. Our son was one at the time and needed attention every now and then. Could one of us get up to take care of him while the salesman kept reading? Absolutely not. He stopped and sat there like a robot and waited for us to have our full attention again.

Eventually he looked at every window in the house, and wouldn t you know it? Every single window needed to be replaced, even the one that was less than a year old. We just wanted three windows replaced. Their minimum was four. We told him we understood and would get windows elsewhere. Suddenly three windows can be done. The price was ridiculous. We said no thanks. The price went down. We said no thanks, still too high, price went down. We agreed on a price that was still too high, but at least it got the salesman out of our house.

The actual windows are great, but now we re dealing with Rescom calling two years later to try to set up another meeting with a salesman to get more windows replaced in our house. We re not interested. Does that matter. Nope. They keep calling. Stay away.

We recently had a window installed by Rescom in an attic space we are renovating. The sales pitch was quite lengthy and honestly a bit annoying to sit through. However our salesman was on time, professional, and easy to work with. All time estimates on the project were accurate and the install crew was awesome. I'd recommend using them as the product appears to be solid and the Company was easy to work with.

Wouldn't give me a price without my wife and wasting 3 hours of my time. I have 25 windows, 3 different sizes. 54k for 25 windows. But "if you commit I can give them to you for 35k". Salesman came visibly upset when I said no and stormed out of my house like a little baby while he drove away in his Mercedes Benz. Quality of the windows seemed good but the high pressure sales pitch was enough to make me not to do business with them.

Signed up with these guys and a bunch of other companies on Saturday hoping to receive information on Windows. By Sunday I hadn't received an email or voicemail from them so Monday morning I emailed and called several time. No response. I ended up choosing someone else by Tuesday evening when they got back to me.

I got a weird robot call I couldn't respond to. Then ten minutes later a man called. I told him I had gone with another company. He asked who and I happily told him I went with Newpro and that I hadn't heard back from his company. He immediately turned incredibly rude and nasty and told me he had left me a voicemail. I said I hadn't received one and tried to mention my email had been ignored entirely also and he just hung up on me! Wow. What great service. If they talk to me like that imagine how they'd treat me once they had my money already?

I know several people who are buying houses and as I'm the first in our social group I've been asked for recommendations and I can't wait to tell everyone to avoid this company and their horrible service.

We had 5 windows replaced by Rescom this past spring. While they are quite pricey, we have already saved money on our air conditioning bill this summer. The front of our house faces the strong sun and being triple-pane, we can stand right in front of the window and no longer feel any heat coming in. The glass is the same temperature as the inside of the house. We used to have to close up the front of the house because of the heat that would come in. Looking forward to saving on our heating bill this winter.
I also like the security features of the windows and the warranty is unbeatable. Service was great! All windows were put in on the first date they gave us and done in one day. They cleaned up everything, too.

Rescom is the best exterior products company I have dealt with. Had 4 windows and a door replaced about 8 years ago. Then they came and replaced 5 more windows 4years ago. Today (1/11/18) we are getting 7 windows, installed by another company, replaced because they just were not effici ent or easy to use.
Rescom windows are easy to clean safe and efficient and I and my family would recommend Rescom to anyone wanting to replace doors or windows.
