Last September, my wife woke up with abdominal pain. We went to Methodist Family Health in Midlothian and were seen by the Nurse Practitioner, Angela Cheatham. She ran a few tests and found out my wife tested positive for pregnancy. Though we were initially excited, she wanted to send us to Methodist Mansfield to have an ultrasound done to rule out an ectopic. They found that one of my wife s ovaries had burst, that she was bleeding internally and had already lost over 500mL of blood. Dr. Trivedi and the ER staff at Methodist Mansfield prepped her for surgery and Dr. Kindred and her team were able to repair the ovary and save my wife s life. Today we celebrate the first week of our new baby girl who was born at Methodist Mansfield by Dr. Krombach. If not for Angela s attention to detail, the quick response of Dr. Trivedi and the ER staff at Methodist Mansfield, and the highest standard of care provided by Dr. Kindred and her team back in September my wife would not be here today and we would not be celebrating the arrival of our new baby girl.
