I love Makro. I just hate that you need a Makro card to be a customer. I wanted to purchase something today and pay it off over a few months, and then was told I can't use my makro card and would have to use a Makro account card - which is apparently different to the normal Makro Card. So I applied and was then told it takes 48 hours before it's active. But the item is on special and the special ends before that 48 hours is over. Too much card drama involved. Other than that I love the store

It has everything you need, just like any Makro. Although this one is missing a full scale butchery (has Pre packed meat products) there also tends to be a lack of interest from staff at times.

Convenient place to shop. Mostly crowded on month-end and mid-month paydate Sundays.

Not as cheap as it should be. Leaves a lot to be desired.

My complaint is with online delivery, not with the store. The wrong product sent by Makro. Many phone calls to Makro,with many promises of being phoned back. Never happened. I long since returned the incorrect product, but no replacement. Makro happy to take my money, but seemingly unwilling to provide what I bought. In any other sphere this would be called stealing.

My monthly expense is around R5000 rand a month. Never have I gone out the shop with all my requirements. When I go to a similar shop they always have plenty stock and all flavours of the commoditate I am looking for. I run a small tuckshop at the retirement centre where I am and the elderly are so set in what they like and can afford that it makes it very difficult.I have tried different times of the month but it never changed. Now I have to make two trips to replenish the shop

I have been going back and forth for a product that is not working, because I want to be refunded and I took the product to them twice for the accessment at their supplier , their product never worked since I bought it but still they insist on me to take the chainsaw , up until their supplier agree for me to be refunded, I am really angry and I will never buy from Makro and I am going to pay of my credit card and then close the account and I want nothing to do with Makro!!!!

I'm nearing 50 y/o and if you want to experience a Makro "throwback" to its "haydays" please do yourself a favour and go wonder the broad isles with stock packed to the rafters from single unit purchase to bulk purchase options of same stock per isle.

Love the raw cement floors and industrial warehouse structure and lighting. I will definately visit here again compared to Makro Milnerton/Table View.

Some specials average pricing on the rest over enough parking, has a separate alcohol section

Poor experience and will never return! From parking to absolute chaos in store to incompetent sales people who lack the necessary knowledge on promotions and then have the audacity to argue when it clearly states on the pamphlet. ......not good!

Good to know there was a Makro in the area. Didn't have stock an item that I wanted. The smallest Makro I've been to.

Prices are a mess. Wrong thugs labelled different prices eat up at the cashier

It is well stocked with most items ranging from clothes to foodstuff. The aisles are wide enough for people with large trolleys to pass comfortably. The attendants are courteous and very helpful

If you can think it, you can find it here. Food items from the fridge however are always too close to expiry
