Queues are really long and there are never enough trollies

Very decent shopping experience but poor service from staff at times.

Month end Saturday - The place is a madhouse which I found strange as their prices really aren't that good. Some staff were apparently on strike but those that were in attendance were friendly and helpful. The queues at the tills moved swiftly.

Wow Makro has everything don't go there often but do visit now and again

They have it all! Makro is any shopper's paradise. From luxury goods to tools, and high tech to sporting and camping equipment. Specials are more regular than most other places, on the spot discounts are available in store, return policy is excellent and staff are always available for prompt assistance. Extended warranty options gives you peace of mind on your purchases. Online only discounted deals means you not only save money, but also time.

Great place for stokvel to buy groceries as they give great discounts

Makro is a very big store, nice n clean, friendly staff, but very pricy. I buy my hubbies sweaters an jeans there, their mens sweats is of good quality it dont loose their colours. Other than that i only shop there when they have R100 deals.

The service at the temporary card section wss friendly and helpful. In store help not quite the same.

Don't normally shop here but since they introduced their specials where you buy bulk and save, I cannot bypass. They are very quality orientated and the staff goes the extra mile.

When shopping remember to include the time you have to spend waiting to get to the checkout point!

Went at 17H00. Very quiet and best time to shop as they close at 18H00

A bit dingy,you go there for the prices,avoid month-end as it gets properly packed..

Good specials on goods and food stuffs, spacious parking and good variety. Just prepare for long lines at checkout at going through security. Be sure to have a Makro card to make your purchase

It's the nearest makro shop but too much chaos when trying to find what you need. It's a different kind of makro experience but still has everything you need.

Nothing out of the ordanary. Could not supply what I wanted to buy and that was displayed in the store.

Very well stocked with friendly and efficient staff. Great for those who prefer to bulk buy. The gaming department are also quite helpful.

Good variety of products. I have shopped there many times, haven't experienced good or any customer service as yet.So many staff completely ignore you, no acknowledgement whatsoever. The electrical dept, the grocery aisles, I found the most arrogant, unfriendly staff are at the gardening, and tools section. They have the attitude of no enthusiasm for being at work, and show their frustration with customers. You feel the negativity as you walk through the aisles.

Makro is a great place to shop for bulk. The only con is that you have to have a Makro card to shop.

Smaller to medium sized wholesaler. Check-out is a long wait on weekends. Prices are very competitive.

This Makro store I find amazing the service has always been excellent the mix of goods is astounding it really suits my needs. In general their prices are very competitive all in all was a pleasure shopping there.

Queues were insane. Stood almost an hour in the queue.

Everything under 1 roof, pity that some of the staff don't move out of the way when you are trying to pass with a trolley with wonkey wheels.

Went to return a router. The woman at returns was chatting to her colleague next to her while she took the router and its components out the packaging, slowly. She then sent us to the electronics section and told us to tell them that they need to test the router before we can return it. (Our complaint was that the routers signal did not reach the upstairs level of the home).

The guy at electronics came back with us to the woman at returns and told her that they can't and don't test routers before its returned.

We eventually got our refund. Its probably just the one incompetent person at returns.

Otherwise it is a good store. The staff in the paint and hardware section are very helpful.
