Staff at the information desk and returns desk a helpful. Go anywhere else in the store and ask some a question and they are somewhat rude and not very helpful at all.

A chaotic place, expensive, full of lazy, rude and unmotivated staff, and which, unfortunately has no real competition.

Last 2 visits were just okay - some staff members were helpful and others would just say no stock stock without checking-

I have always been fond of going to Makro as i love the setting of everything under 1 roof ..however i was left dissapointed yesterday 22 June ..it was my bday the 8th of June and i left my phone with the voucher no for the 100.00 discount at home..I went to receptionist a lady tried calling a manager but she could not get through or phones was just ringing she then asked her colleague what or how they can help if i dont have voucher number..her colleague very rude brush me off saying as if i was a piece of nothing ..(She must come back on Monday) now i explained im purchasing the goods today as you only quallifyfor the discount if you do a purchase of more than 800.00 ..She then said managers leave at 14.00 on a Saturday and nobody else to authorise ..now my thinking store closes at 17.00 no managers for the rest of the day ..dont make sense .The very rude lady at reception ..name Kashiefa..you really need to learn how to speak to clients as client services is very important ..

Not the best Makro store. It's cramped, feels dirty and they have to little tills to serve such a huge store.

Great selection of goods and they always willing to help. Clean store and knowledgeable staff.

What an absolutely terrible experience at Makro today, while in the store, My mom had to use the bathroom. The first thing that struck me when I went in was that it stank like A Dirty public porta potty.
Secondly there where stalls that where out of order and there was no toilet paper and broken toilet seats.
I am absolutely disgusted that after approaching the staff about the matter, no one cared and just shifted the blame.
We are in the midst of a massive health crisis in the world but yet this retailer couldn t be bothered.
Please guys, this is my first bad experience from Makro and I hope it is my last

Everyone is the to shop for everything they desire at affordable prices. Anything from gadgets, accessories, clothing also appliances.

getting to the place is horrible with the road construction . shop has a very old dinge feel

Experience was terrible!! Stood 15 mins at security alone just to sign our till slips.

The staff on the floor are ok I guess, if they aren t huddled together chatting then they rush to assist you so they can put a sticker with their name on the product you are buying (electronics dept) but getting to the cashier to actually pay, wow, makes me skip Makro entirely.

Pretty decent store. Avoid on month end however. Lost a 1 hour 30mins of my life waiting in the pay queue

This is a huge Makro, well organised and staff are friendly and helpful.

Did not have what I required, staff not very helpful. Not my favorite place.

Need a revamp. The store is ok but needs to look at the standard of Montague and Cape Gate. You can find most things at Makro Ottery but seriously need a make over.

A great retail and wholesale store that stocks an extensive range of products. They also offer delivery services for any large purchases.

You can buy everything here and not just in bulk. The staff are very friendly and were always offering to help. I made some really great savings. Just make sure you grab a trolley before entering the shop as the entrance and exit are different. The shop does not keep trolleys inside.

Great service, just parking is a bit of a problem!

I had to leave my stuff in the store. Due to my spinal problems I'm not able to stand in the long queue

Horrendous.. revolting... watch out for the verrimark salesmen in disguise as makro staff. They block you from looking at other brands and push their shoddy poor quality products. Foul staff. Awful trolleys. Long smelly queues. Rather order online if need be!

Very helpful service by Brent and the Sonotec assistant in the TV department.

As crazy busy as the store was the staff were amazing, friendly, very helpful and aware of those with special needs, well done guys

Makro is relatively good and close by but staff can use a course in customer service with emphasis on being more friendly and helpful. Also most times I find that they are out of stock of many items I want. So thats not ideal.

Bargains galore with such friendly service from staff and management.

19 Aug 2020. Very good processes in place for Covid-19 lockdown restrictions from Makro. Well done. Unfortunately some customers still don't care about keeping their distance in the queue.

Usual Makro store fare. Nothing unusual about this store.
