Good view but that's it. Food quality not at par with Pullman standard. Mr Sultan Salami tops as a very warm and welcoming person. Same for Pak Farooq from Indonesia at the Executive Lounge on 24th floor.

Great hotel, wonderful facilities, best view in the world. However, we had a problem with the check in since the sync with booking is not immediate. So we waited for more than 2 hours to be able to check in. Otherwise, it was nice

I had a very bad experience this time however it s my 4th visit to this hotel. We used to like it and feel satisfied. Unfortunately, after this visit we decided not to come back to such a place with such management for many reasons. Check in was very bad and i was obliged to sign a non refundable sheet so that i can get my triple room that was already booked. Aslo, breakfast at M2 restaurant was something, you can say disgusting from the way the staff deals with the guest, cleaning process, restaurant manager (Mohamed Javeed) who can only manage a kiosk and not a fairmont hotel restaurant. Food variety and disorder of the buffet. Room: water leaking in the toilet for 4 days. Cleaning process and response to your request. We were depressed from our experience as we love this place; but we decided not to come back again. Believe me, as a hotel and resort owner in Egypt, i tell you if you continue with such a performance you will lose credibility and lot of your guests very soon and rapidly. ps. I insisted to wait till i come back home and write my review so that no body says i want refund or get compensation, don t need that. But we got really depressed and disappointed. Hope you can handle your problems soon, first for your reputation; second, fairmont clock tower is really a great property.

MAISAM AND Shaima at the Al dira restaurant are 2 very lovely ladies. The breakfast buffet was also really nice. Fairmont is just the best in makkah. Will stay here over and over again in shaa Allah. And also MOHAIMEN the butler is a very nice man. Made our stay worth while.

It has a good view of the haram and kaba
We had a room of 4 beds, clean and great service, you can put the clean my room sign on your door at any time and they'll do it right away.
The resturant buffets were tasty with a wide range of foods, Arab, Indian, African etc.
however it takes 1 elevator to get from your room to the lobby then either another elevator or you can take escalators, with no rush or wait it takes atleast 10 minutes to get to the Haram to pray. When its prayer time or after prayer time (rush hour) from entering the clocktower mall to your room or from your room to the clocktower mall entrance will take minimum 30 minutes.

I stayed there 6 years ago. The best one among all 5-star hotels under the tallest and largest clock in the world. Excellent service, especially added to the perfect view on the Al Haram. Hope to stay one more time in that hotel

This is my favorite hotel in Makkah I always stay here. The rooms are really nice, big, clean and really comfortable. It has the most comfortable hotel rooms I ve ever been in my whole life. Had my breakfast here at the 29th floor. It was really pleasant. All in all I give it 10/10. The women named shreean was really nice.

Excellent Buffet, great service and it s what you expect from a 5 star hotel/Restaurant like Derah/Fairmont makkah. Shameaa at the reception desk was very helpful and checking in to the buffet was seamless. Would definitely recommend

I would like to give a specific shout out to the nice people in floor 29 in Aldeera Restaurant. To put it shortly, they make me feel at home, everybody is smiling and asking you wether you need anything. I understand it s a hospitality business, but these guys are doing it way better and more natural. In three days I made couple of friends here, chef Umer Musa, nice smile, and warm welcome and an outstanding omelet. The supervisor Kazi, with his warm smile and friendly approach to guests. Fahad my man Who is Alhilal fan was nice enough to celebrate AFC 2019 championship with us as a friend rather than an employee, it was a very good gesture. Samir, yunus, Fairouz and many others I don t remember their names.

Thanks for this wonderful service and awesome stay. See soon Boys!

Complete trash.

Complete trash.

For the price we paid for this hotel, my entire family could not have been more disappointed.

The room had a strange rotting smell from the moment we entered. The kettle we were given was stained and dirty from the inside. I had refrigerated medication which got spoiled in their broken refrigerator, which was "fixed" by their electrician, but still got no cooler than room temperature. The staff was extremely rude and unaware of their surroundings and had no attention to detail whatsoever. Every few steps, a staff member would show up and demand we show them our keys to prove we were residents which felt humiliating and patronising.

Our table had no cutlery or tissues or water. When I requested it, the staff told me to go sit down and wait, even though the dining hall was dead empty at this point, apart from us. A lot later, it eventually showed up, but by that time, our food was completely cold, because the plates they use are never warmed in the first place; in fact there isn't even a plate warmer.

I've never had to wait an entire five minutes for an elevator before, but with such few elevators & so many guests, each elevator took forever to show up, was occasionally full, and obviously smelled strongly of body odor since it's hot outside and they're always full.

The gym equipment is absolutely tragic; but that aside, the gym concierge argued with me about how i cannot wear jeans into a gym, which I wasn't, because they were track pants. He eventually apologized and let me in. A little while later, the trainer decided it was a good idea to interrupt my workout to tell me to leave for not wearing the correct attire, which again, I was. Of course, asking a customer to leave for wrong attire is fine if it's for safety, but being loud, violent and disrespectful is not.

Lovely place to stay, spent several days in here, and it was a great experience, the room, the food, the location, everything is perfect. Very close to the mosque and if you are not able to go out, don t worry, They have a spot for you to pray from hotel as well and the view is heading directly to Kabah.
