Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel Review

This hotel is a really nice hotel with an excellent service that i really enjoyed especially the lady's health club. I want to thank Oumnia for her amazing hospitality.

Excellent service at the gold lounge. We are regular guest and we love Fairmont Makkah. We stayed 15 days and every time they give the good service. Thanks to Asadullah Mohazzib Siraj and Hassan. And all the butler team

I tried aldera resturant , good food & service I enjoyed it.

I think this building should be removed.. As it's competing with the minarets if the holy masjid..urban wise Makkah should restore it's original fabric and the big towers to move back at the entries of ehram (mowakeet)

Excellent spa and gym facilities alahmdulillah. Everything about the place is awsome. Its right outside the haram sharif and is deffinetly coviniet for people with disabilities.

The best in Makkah everything was great but when we arrived we had to wait along time ( hours )for our rooms to be ready , and this is the only thing that I didn t like.
Btw they have gym for both men and woman

This is my last visit at fairmont makkah . All the staff is good the kaaba view is amazing and the health club is really relaxation place . A lot of thanks to girls in health club

It's a beautiful place , I saw Mecca kaba very clear from my room , love this place , service very good , but please improve lift speed it's very slow , in short very good place it is .

We had a stay of 4 nights at Fairmont hotel. The experience was amazing specially the absolute mind blowing service we received from the breakfast team - Gold service at floor 29 was superb. The whole team including Faheem, Kazi and Ahmed were really great and welcoming.

Great Architecture World biggest clock tower and hotel. The interior and exterior are marvellous.The views from the top of Haram is worth seeing.

Stayed in Dar ul Iman Royal for 12 days. The receptionists are cooperative and available 24 hours. Housekeeping is good and very friendly. The problem I once faced was my clothes were stolen and never found back.

Have breakfast . What great hospitality. Staff is good, well mannered explain every question about food. Service is fast. Mr Kazi serve a tea the time we ask.

Loved the stay. Loved the staff! Majid was amazing!

The place is amazing and customer service as well, only disappointing thing is that they don't put that many treats for you in the room for example we had to ask for toothbrushes and toothpaste and other related things. But you will think for the price that you pay for one night you won't have to worry about such things.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful, anything you might want or desire the staff is there to provide it for you.

The rooms are tidy, clean, and promptly serviced when requested.

This is a life experience that in my opinion a person must experience it at least once in their lifetime.

PS: try the kanafeh at the 29th floor iftar buffet, I haven't tasted anything like it before.

A very good place to stay great staff at 28th and 29th floor. Very busy lifts during hajj and ummrah time so plan ahead before every prayer.

Restaurant is good and the staff Is outstanding In particual Mr. Riyas Hussain and tariq.

Our family had breakfast in lezzet resturant we enjoyed and service staff are calm and polite, clean, Mr Kazi supervisor restaurant is proffessnal and well trained he help all guest in good manner, helpfull, nice .

The breakfast buffet options were numerous. There were lots of menu delicious, and nutritious items to choose from. The staff were friendly and very courteous. I will bring my family again, and recommend my friend to come and stay at the Fairmont hotel in Mariah, inshaallah.

Nice and cozy. Staff is very nice and fast surving regardless the high number of guests. The breakfast is amazing with nice staff also. The only thing is that parking is limited.

I had done 3 days in this hotel... just say execelent.... room very clean..and i get room with view kabah..... thanks a lot for your service

The food served has a wide variety and are excellent! Great customer service as well.

Initially, it made an excellent impact but they cancelled my room booking and blamed it on my agent, despite my son s room being confirmed!
The check in sorted, with no apology, we went to room, level R3, which was not told by receptionist, but by bell boy!
The elevators - many - were confusing and it was made worse by no clear directions for the elevators or the room numbers from the elevator foyer.
Room was fine, but son had to move room on last night due to insect infestation.
Breakfast on each day was not 5 star , the table service was exceptionally poor with no cutlery provided in time, despite requests, and only dead strong Americano coffee and tea was provided. Only on complaining did senior waiter say latte was available for a charge!
On complaining, the manager never came!
On complaining via telephone the manager said a complaint form was in room - but there was none and even in their impressive guestbook in room there were no details on how to complain. Eventually, I was given a blank Fairmont form!
A hotel that does that is not serious about complaints- I didn t bother writing with the pencil that was presented to me! The pencil and blank form said it all for me!
It got worse after check out with Saudi security bureaucracy at level B2 car park. We ended up waiting for taxi that had been turned away 3 times by security despite them having taxi reg number given to them by me and I had to then physically wait at the vehicle entry point for driver!
In conclusion - definitely NOT 5 stars and we will not be going back to such poorly organised hotel that pays no regards to complaints or guest conveniences.

Food was very good. Service a little slow.

Huge, lush, very clean. Toilets very well separated sections for bath, basin, etc. Sraff very nice cooperative.

Please add microwaves and three pin sockets to rooms. Breakfast menu can be improved.

Aldira Restaurant in Fairmont Hotel has fantastic view while eating. The food was delicious. The service was efficient and workers were friendly.

The nearest mosque to Masjid al haram Makkah...beautuful hotel with good service and satisfied with food menu that delicious....very impressift....

The food was amazing and they had lots of different food

Very nice location overlooking makkah haram. Very well appointed rooms with amenities. Good responsive service. Only thing lacking was the lifts could not bear load of all the people at prayer times. Otherwise excellent place to stay when visiting haram in makkah.

Very good breakfast and buffet, kids love the food , highly recommeded for indonesian to stay here. Services by Mr.Kazi and Supervisor really professional and good hospitality

Great hotel with great WC and comfortable bed but always i found problems with elevators to get my room

I have been there. And one of the nice place. Specially in night when the light turns green then it feels so amazing to be the witness of that special moment.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at the Health Club and were happy it was women only. The woman behind it was Amal and she helped with everything we needed. The service was great and an overall enjoyable experience.

It was really great stay in the hotel , clean, fresh food and fantastic services

A great hotel, with a wonderful view of the Kaaba, clean, luxurious, good food, but unfortunately there was moisture inside the room, I hope they'll work to fix this problem.

I like everything things in this place, except the car parking. It is small.
