Expensive but ideally located in close proximity of Haram Shareef. If money not an issue this place is definitely worth checking out !

Excellent stay with family for Umrah. Final day breakfast at Aldira restaurant with Kaaba view was amazing, thanks to supervisor Maysam and her team at Aldira for the excellent hospitality.

They do absolutely everything possible to ease your burden and make your pilgrimage as smooth as it is intended to be.

An excellent unparallel place to be in. I will come again and again if my health permits and the Almighty Allah(swt) approves .

What a marvelous experience to be done even if once.

Fairmont gold allows you to access snack bars which is useful to get constant supply of water, snacks and coffee.

The staff are friendly, and the prayer room with Kaaba view makes you feel praying in front of it with same Ajr

Unbeatble location, very good service but very expensive. If you are in Makkah for Umroh or Haj, nothing beats this location. It is literally at the door step of Masjid Al Haram. Many shops and restaurants are in the same buildings. You can truly combine your religious pilgrimage with shopping and dining. But don't expect LV and Zegna here.

No internet, no TV, and no one picking up the phone.
My lowest score for a Fairmont. Also the 3stars are only because of exceptional customer service by the reception during my check-in.

Actually I stayed at Dar al Ghufran hotel. Very near to Masjidil Haram about 50 metres away

Stayed here 3 times for Umrah, the best thing about hotel is how convenient the location is.

Its connected to a shopping mall and they also have very easy access to the haram to go pray.

Safe and secure place, the staff were welcoming and attentive.

Price was also reasonable if you book early enough.

Breakfast buffet was good but it gets crowded at 6:30am so be there early.

Lobby and bathrooms kept very clean.

Easy elevator access which are huge and accomodate alot of people.

Definatley the best hotel to choose in makkah.

My family had in saudi restuarant the buffet and service is excellent the server are attentive with all detail they are ready for assist any time,gromming is perfect thanks for having so wonderful staff.

The only thing is that we has to ride 2 different elevators to govto the room

The Hotel is posh, luxurious located closest to Masjid Al Haram BUT the management and communication is very poor!

We checked in at 3:30 am and inspite of making the payment for 2 bedroom Signature Suite we were allotted 2 Signature rooms on different floors
After the miscommunication sorted we were transferred to Signature Suite later around 7pm.
At the reception there was again confusion and the concerned person asked me what is the problem with the Signature Room?
Money is the problem I paid for Signature Suite and got a Signature room
MrZeyad cleared the confusion!

We again checked in on 9th December and I was glad to see MrZeyad at the reception and this time there was no booking according to him
I was surprised coz I had the hotel reservation voucher with me and after 15 mins of confusion we finally got the Signature Suite.
Only MrFaisal apologised after I told him how bad is their management and how they don t care about listening to the pilgrims who have travelled so far to be troubled with the booking.

The Suite was spacious.
We booked the suite with Kaaba view
Breakfast at Saudi Restaurant was amazing though the day we arrived we had it at normal restaurant in the same Hotel.

The staff is NOT friendly!!!

Hardly few understand and speak English
Female staff were better.
Escalators are a challenge
Honestly 10 mins to reach Haram.

I had breakfast in lezzet resturant,the food is good some indonesian food to add in buffet to good in breakfast,kazi escort us and gave us haram view we really enjoy,kazi made our day today, he treat all guest uniqiue individual and smile all the way. He gave us best service what we except from fairmont.

Our family enjoy breakfast the buffet and food is excellent, the service by kazi and mofizul, the service quality is excellent the staff is so cheerful and helpful, especially kazi he come to our table to ask food quality and service ,he is doing great job as per hotel standard.the restaurant ambience is so good. The restaurant is balance with good food and good staff.We recommended our family.

This place has great view. Near Masjid al Heram. Great place and have almost everything there. I find it awesome.

the rooms is great! the service is also great! and there is an iron table available in the room. plus the food is also enjoyable, which is great! all of the workers here is very friendly especially the one that named Nouf, is very soft spoken. so a wholesome experience all in all!

Please be careful when booking on weekends. In my case I had booked for triple bed room and when I reached they said that that rooms were not available. How could you book something you can't give?
When asked that manager, I've been given the worst pathetic reply, he said, " we have booked three beds in a room for you, not a room of a bigger size and we shall fit the 3 beds in our double bed room"
I was with my family in some other country, I couldn't fight with them.

Secondly the standard of room is also not that good anymore, its like Movenpick and Pullman Zamzam tower now.

They have 5 star status. But room are like cheap motels and do not expect any customer service. 2 have to change 2 lifts get town. and lifts take ages.

Wonderful hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Ideal location for access to Haram in Makkah. I had to make some changes to my reservation post booking and their call center staff did extremely well in addressing my requests and it was all taken care of when I checked in!!

The room service is very slow in servations. All other experience was satisfying.

Great location and service. Breakfast at the Saudi/ Lebanese restaurant on the 29th floor is fantastic. All the staff strive to give us a great experience with special thanks to Samir and Kazi for looking after us.

Beautiful area to walk around. Kept extremely clean. Just spell binding really. Watching the many races walking around, the spectacular crowds after prayer times, the view...incredible.

Overall stay was average at best, rooms, service and food were acceptable, nothing special.
