Nice hotel

Nice hotel
After 5 nights stay at this hotel, you will waste at least 2-3 hours daily at elevators. Right now i am waiting more than 30 minutes at level S2 going level 20 2 elevators are out of service out of total 6.

BAD EXPERIENCE I have ever seen. If the Duty Manager Abdulrahman Alhusseini has no customer satisfaction and unprofessional skills. In addition, the staff has knocked the door while hang up the DO NOT DISTURB 3 times after 11:30 pm which too noisy. The Housekeeping staffs are awful and bad service.

I don't recommend this hotel at all. Promise I will stay at it anymore.

It was a fine experience staying at Fairmont Clock...

It was a fine experience staying at Fairmont Clock Tower, the rooms are quite spacious, clean and have a nice feel to them, they have a small but state of the art gymnasium, a sauna other healthclub facillities, though the major setback is that you actually have to go through 2 elevators (sometimes 3) to get to the ground floor for Masjid Al Haram, and their elevators are way too slow, it took me around 15 mins once to get to their secondary masjid on the mezzanine level due to slow elevators and I missed the maghreb prayer due to that so if you're going to be staying, try getting a room that is on the lower floors, you wont find the staff too courteous too, specially the security officials who treat you like you're tresspassing on private property every now and then when you enter the hotel
The breakfast was okayish, they only had like 6 to 8 distinct main courses, which is ofcourse less than usual if you compare the same to Rayhaan Rotana and Movenpick.

We upgraded to Fairmont Gold - Junior Suite Kaaba ...

We upgraded to Fairmont Gold - Junior Suite Kaaba View. It was well worth it. Everything was Excellent and Amazing.

Room # 2612 during March 2019
They gave us a dedicated butler.
Fruits basket everyday. Kawa pot everyday.
Another nice amenity was the Lounge.
From 5-8 pm it was mini snacks buffet , kids enjoyed it and for everyone of us it was a good dinner !!!!!

Breakfast on 29th floor Saudi-Lebanese restaurant was Amazing!!!! I forgot the name of the lady at reception she asked me to provide feedback abt the restaurant. It was Amazing!!! I believe depending upon your room you will be assigned this restaurant or the continental buffet one!!!

Service was so amazing ; some one would be at the door in less than 2 minutes!!!
Most of the times the minute we keep the phone down after requesting something we heard the door bell !!!
Overall service was top notch.
Check In, Check out, staff...5 stars!!!

Also they provided 2 baby cots for our kids.

They have a nice prayer area within the hotel. Where many people gather to pray along with the Jamat of Masjid Al Haram .
Our room had speakers as well we could hear the Azaan and Prayers.

Walk from the hotel room to Masjid Al Haram door is about 10 minutes fast walk.
We didnt find elevators as a major concern during our stay. Also we tried to be at the Masjid well before Azaan time!!

We stayed at Raffles Makkah palace-as well but found the service of Fairmont Gold much better. The View from Raffles - Premium Kaaba view was better than Fairmont though!!

InshaAllah for our next trip will stay here again. Highly Recommended !!

We stayed at the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower...

We stayed at the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower this time and soon concluded that it was the best experience of any hotel we have stayed in Makkah ever. The suit was large and bathrooms also very spacious. The breakfast spread was great and quality of food was awesome. No hulla gulla during buffet breakfast as is the case in most other five star hotels in Makkah.

Lastly the service very swift and with a smile. Certainly a notch above the rest not just in altitude (we stayed at the 47th floor) but in service too.

A place only for riches. But it is very close to muslims holiest haram namely khanal khaba a house of God historical one house of God built by hazrat Ibrahim and hazrat Ismail prophets of the God. Muslims come here from in the house of God for perfume religious prayers.

This is the worst 5 star hotel i have ever stayed ...

This is the worst 5 star hotel i have ever stayed in double room for couple supplied as 2 single separate beds.Food is worst same things repeated over n over again few dishes are from overnight you can easily tell you hotel thing they are five stars try to act ot show like one people mainly from Europe can easily pick quality and service.
No Hair dryer in Rooms.
Shower door does not close .
No prayer Matt.
Food hall is big but this means hundreds of people in Line.
Lifts system is like a Maze.
Hotel decided to paint corriders on 17th and same others floors on day hajjis checkinh in impossible to breath high fumes of paint reception staff cant help.
I will not recommed this Hotel for either non busy time and espcially Hajj days
Definatly Better and true five stars hotels are available.

Looks good that is about all.

Looks good that is about all.
Service is appalling and staff attitude is don t care.
Not all The hotel receptionist can t speak English therefore very hard to communicate and if You have a problem than you have a bigger problem as no one knows what you are talking about. I regret my stay and will not be staying here again.

We have been staying at this hotel for 4 nights so far at this 5 star hotel although at times the hotel lacked to what we expected however kazi (waiter) has provided us a top star service, the most welcoming person at breakfast, always welcoming you with a smile, providing an extra effort to look after us with a fantastic service that we have never received in any hotel ever before. This person mashaAllah has made our stay extremely comfortable. To Fairmont management you have a gem staff member. Thank you

Experience like nothing else, have a very prime location facing Al Haram is the optimum demand for all Makkah visitors, service and food is all at high grade. It will be difficult to try other hotels in Makkah after such great experience.

A commanding 76-story hotel, among the worlds tallest, forms the focal point of the iconic Abraj Al Bait Complex and is located just a few steps from the Grand Mosque, having 1650 elegantly appointed rooms and suites with five-star services.

I just visited it didnt stay it looked exotix the closest hotel in makkah to haram in fact its in situated in haram 200m to kaaba there are plenty of great shops and markets international brands the hotel is at the 11th floor top flor is 37th great views you can see all of makkah from the top floors

If you have a baby, this is not the hotel for you....

If you have a baby, this is not the hotel for you. They literally refused to warm up baby food for us, they asked us to go outside the hotel and ask the restaurant/cafe outside to warm up baby food. Even milk they wouldn't warm up. Eventually they compromised and said they'll provide warm milk at no charge. However every time we would order milk, each person would try to charge us for milk so we had to go through this over and over and over again. Other than that, it was a nice hotel. Convenient access to Haram, even though the elevators seem to take forever but it depends on the prayer time. Also management and staff have a very laid back attitude, they follow up on their time, no rush.

Exceptional lavish breakfast at Al Dira Restaurant . They cater if you are gluten free.
The service of the waiters are excellent, makes a good start to the day .
Ali Qureshi went out of his way to make us feel at home.

It's one of the clock tower hotels opposite the Haram. No better location than this. Their prayer room on S2 floor and restaurant on M3 floors have an amazing view into the Haram. You get direct feed of the prayers and Azan into the rooms. The beds need to be changed out as they all seem to sag in the middle .
