Its a luxurious hotel, the m3 restaurant wasnt that good, it was below my expactation, it was very standard, unlike other 5 star restaurant. I found the service is quite slow, when i order the room service yet, The room is quite big though and the interior is quite fancy

The worst hotel experience the current management ...

The worst hotel experience the current management is far away from hospitality, there s no signs to direct you to the drop off area , there s no valet and they have only 40 parking spots as what the duty manager says,7parking spots as the parking security guard says for 1400rooms!, the suite is not clean there s stains on the chairs and the carpet, there s hair in the toilet, there was tissues and trash underneath the sofa bed,the sofa bed was broken, the lampshades are broken, the phone only works by speaker, you can t hear the doorbell from inside the room the hotel was informed about all these problems they took from 8pm till 3am to fix some of these problems, they take too much time to fix one problem by one and every problem have deferent person who should fix it , also they try to make the guest do most of what they should do, the hotel duty managers not helpful and unprofessional they didn t make any moves until I contacted the Fairmont official Twitter account, even though I didn t receive an appropriate apology specially I m going to Makkah to relax and meditate, so when you apologize by inviting me to eat is not the appropriate apology specially if you are trying to make me change my opinion about your hospitality, actually I felt it s kind of insult when you take my acceptance of your invitation for lunch as something will make me happy and change my opinion about what I experienced at your hotel.
All of that was the main problems that I faced but there was a side problems regarding the staff and how professional they are it s not the place to mention it but I can make short by saying that you don t feel you are welcome from more than 50percent of the staff specially the duty managers.

Location is amazingly close to Haram lot of crowds though to get in or out during any prayer.
Staff are friendly and helpful but you can imagine how sloooooooooow they are in any request as simple as water bottle which is all due of course to the immense load by other guests.
However Firmount should think of increasing the staff to overcome massive issues with service delays..
Cleaning services, extra pillows, more blanket, correct reservation is taken for granted in any other 5 start hotel... Not here though.
Being popular place make management look the other way when such issues occurs which is very very frequent.
In my group of 40+ none had the correct room or proper check in experience.

This place still perfect don't quote me wrong.. But only due to location.

Shame

average service despite the fine ambiance. claimed to be a 5* hotel, quality of service can be improved when occupancy is high.

room cleaning had to be asked, breakfast service was a disaster with cutleries, foods and waitress were ran out of service.

Very Luxurious accommodation with almost everything near to hand. Room services are very good. Lots of Bengali, Indian, Pakistani and other Asian staffs are here to give you on time hand on need. Furthermore it's very adjacent to Mecca, it will take only 5 minutes to enter Masjid Al Haram from here. Besides every room has installed audio system to telecast Adhan as well as live prayer. In short it is one of the best hotel to stay near Mecca.
