It was not a clean place, My daughters hair looked like it was not professionally done. Would not recommend...

Usually not a reviewer but this service was so unbelievably bad I had to share. 2 months prior I made appointments for my mother and I. When we got there, no one helped us, they were understaffed and allowed and put before us 3 extra walk-ins (with a wedding group). Never go here! We were an hour and half later than the appointment end time and caused us to have to seriously rush to my brother later wedding. It was awful! No reason to ever make an appointment time, they don t honour it.

I have had the keratin smoothing treatment done at this salon several times and I am always happy with the results. After trying many types of straightening systems at other salons I have determined that this is the best for my curly hair. Maddpretty offers the best price and service.

I make a point to stop at this salon because I really like the way my hair looks since coming here. The price is very reasonable at $35 for a men's cut and I appreciate not feeling rushed. Love the friendly girls who work here and have had good haircuts with all that I have been booked with.I usually walk-in during my lunch break and most weekdays get in without much of a wait.

Awesome place to get a makeover for a big event! My wife and I went here for our wedding day and we were very impressed with how we looked! Highly recommend Maddpretty to anyone!

honestly i think this place is over priced for what it is, and you dont get what you asked for. Its a shame really.. we went here for my friends wedding party, 7 ppl for $150 a pop and we didnt even get a sample of what lipstick we used for touch ups during the wedding we had to actually buy it! On top of that they didnt do what I asked! If Im spending $150 I expect something I wouldnt be able to do myself, Dont waste your money.

My Mom, my sister, and I, all got our hair and make-up done for my wedding back in August. They were friendly, fast, and made us look great! Their maddpretty lipstick was amazing and is now my new favorite! Will definitely be back for another one! Our hair and make-up lasted all day and looked like it was fresh well into the evening! Can't thank the girls enough!

Love this place! I have been referring my friends here since I started coming to this salon. Feeling 10 years younger getting my makeup and haircut done for my new drivers license picture today. Thanks ladies!

I have had nothing but exemplary service from Maddpretty, and I have been here many times. Because of my experiences, I ve brought MANY friends in for makeup and have trusted Jackie with making me feel beautiful on my wedding day 5 years ago. My son is getting married, and tonight my soon to be daughter in law and I went in for a makeup trial. All three of us felt beautiful when we left and I m only sad we didn t have a big night planned!

The hairstylist was great she did well on my hair but I m not very happy with the make up artists, I m not a fuzzy person but I believe they don t know how to do like a professional make up artist.

First I have to say I fell in love with the place just from the looks, it has the best design and great vibes. My hair stylist Kailey (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was 100% amazing! She gave me everything I could ask for and I m going back ASAP! My bleached out hair left there like a million bucks and so did I. I would recommend Maddpretty to anyone and everyone because I think they could make anyone happy! Great place with great vibes!

Absolutely LOVE this salon! All the stylists are so professional and its such a fun environment to get your hair and makeup done! Taylor especially gave me the most gorgeous blonde hair and she is AMAZING at makeup! So happy with my hair and makeup cant wait to come back to maddpretty.

Had a wonderful time, great haircut and overall experience here. I'm just a guy looking for a simple haircut and wash, but this place, and the staff made it an enjoyable experience and great conversation, which was refreshing from the topical awkwardness you have in a typical salon.

My girlfriend loved the way they did her hair and make up. She got compliments all night on how fabulous she looked.

Im just home from a makeup and hair tutorial from Jackie, and it was such a great experience. Im almost 40yrs old and have never taken the time to properly learn how to apply the most basics of makeup or let alone even remotely know what or how to choose and use hair products. Jackie gave me the rundown on everything step by step allowing me to try for myself instead of just doing it for me. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly reccommend no matter what age ( ok maybe not for 2yr olds ) All of the products used were available for purchase at a great price. All of the makeup applied was used with new brushes/wands. Great for a nightout or as a tutorial. Thanks Jackie for making me more confident in experimenting with makeup YOU ROCK!!!!

Just had an ombre done with Chelsea with the help of Allison as well, the ladies at the salon were a lot of fun. I had a pleasant experience considering I normally don't at hair salons. I love my new hair and would definitely come back for another!

We know the owner personally and visited here from out of town with our nieces. She did a great job on both.

Maddpretty is the best salon in Calgary hands down. Such fun hairdressers and a beautiful, fun layout. They treat you like royalty and play the best music. They did an amazing job on my hair numerous times. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else

My hair is absolutely amazing! I met with Kailey yesterday who completely transformed my hair. I have a hard time finding hairstylists that I really like and I could not be more impressed! The music was amazing, she was so much fun to talk to and took the time to make sure my hair looked and felt amazing. I've never left a salon feeling so good, I can't wait to go back!

I have never been to Maddpretty but I think you should turn the pink lights outside in the tree back on, year round. So maddpretty!

I had three foot massages in Calgary and this one was the best! Spa is a lovely clean facility and the service was wonderful!

It was not a clean environment when I was in there and I felt my makeup was not professionally done well!! I will not recommend anyone to come here!!

Got an amazing men's cut here. Stylyst was super friendly and easy to chat with. Price was amazing and the cut was even better. Haven't looked this good in years!

Had a Balayage done here recently and I have never before in my life had so many compliments. The hairdresser I was going to previously told me that I would not be able to achieve blonde in my black hair but my stylist at Maddpretty gave me the exact shade I was wanting and my hair feels soft and healthy. Thank-you from Joe Lynn! Love my hair!

I cannot believe this place. I came here expecting this to be a good extension studio and i wasnt properly quoted for everything.
I ended up paying nearly 1000 dollars for hair that falls out! When i first got my hair done it was early May and a few days after literally two days after my hair was already falling out! And tons of it! I was so upset considering I just spent close to 800 dollars and with tip.They also didnt give me proper instructions of how to maintain the hair. Apparently you have to blow dry right after the shower and then it wont fall out? Had I known I was going to be paying 170 every month to get my hair reaplied I would of never went to this place. I got completely ripped off. I am going to Extensionist Calgary next where they actually properly do tell the clients what there paying for and getting. The lady didnt even give me or email me a receipt for my last appointment which was last week not even one momth after my hair was done. Ive been there three times in the past month. I can put my money at some where else that im actually satisfied with the work. Your spending hard earned money in a unprofessional salon with maddpretty. I wont recommend this place to anyone or be going back. I dont pay money for my hair to fall out within a day what a joke.

Jason Mellor is the best stylist I have ever had! My hair was dead an falling out he recovered it and I get compliments daily on his work.i will never trust anyone but Jason, Maddpretty is a beautiful salon when you walk in the door the girls make you feel so welcome.Clean,prices are amazing and when you walk out you feel like a goddess much luv to Jason an the girls at Maddpretty Thank you!

Living near this location it's become my new favourite salon, I've had only positive experiences with my hair. My stylist knew exactly what she was dealing with when she was first introduced to my hair, and has made my everyday routine so much easier! I've heard great things about the makeup there so hoping to go in before an event!

I swear by my stylist Jason mellor. I refuse to go to anyone else. He always keeps my cuts perfect and my colour vibrant and on point. I adore the atmosphere and always look forward to my appointments :) I mean who doesn't love hot pink and sparkly stuff? Let the hairspray fly I love this place
