Water tower is a Good place to shop even through the pandemic, great social distance for all stores and it's clean and sanitized, and most of all there's a few eating places to get food and places to sit and rest

Gross store very much reminds me of Kmart or Walmart with the way the store is upkept

Vendors need to learn how to treat customers. This past Sunday a vendor at
Givenchy counter(large-sized european/american man with glasses) was dismissive. He didn't acknowledge me, instead just left me standing there. He should of asked another employee to assist me, or say "I'll be with you." AWFUL and unacceptable customer service.

Excellent selection of clothes for different occasions.

This flagship store spans all eight floors of the mall. While the overall size is large I find it tedious going up and down elevators to shop the store. More over the interior is fairly dated.

Compare prices and merchandise for every teenager. There are also a lot of really high level things

This macys on watertower are one of the best in men section of shoes! Omg I was so surprised they help me get the pairs and the size I needed. It's a shame the women shoes dont get that atention. Excellent service that gentleman who handles the men shoes department is a king very professional and knows his job.

This is my first time actually shopping in Chicago and let me tell you it's been wonderful! This Macy's location has such a vast collection!! Especially if you really enjoy catching the sales and last act items! I definitely recommend coming in to explore especially if the weather isn't too nice outside!

I came here to pick a parcel but took me 30 mins to get it.

This location is closing. Right now everything is on sale. Employees were helpful and friendly. Inventory is getting picked through but there is still a lot of good deals.

I worked at Macy's Water Tower and I understand the frustration of men who wonder why women have 7 floors, while men, have to share one floor with both the children's department, housewares, bedding and luggage. These are questions and complaints I heard practically on a daily basis.

On 12/29/13 I called the store trying to locate a winter jacket that I needed for my son. A clerk by the name of Amy (in Denim) on the 8th floor helped me on the phone. When I suggested that if she were busy should could call me back because the item locator said your store had only one of the jacket that I needed. She very nicely said "no, that's okay, I'm all yours right now." She located a jacket without a tag, said she would check the back for more and call me back. She called me a little while later to inform me that she had located more of the jackets and would hold it for me until the next day when I was coming downtown. I went to the store last night to pick it up. Amy was working. Although she was busy, she retrieved the coat and made my exchange, with nothing but smiles and kind words. Amy is a fabulous sales associate and someone who would keep me coming back. Just thought you should know.

Great shopping match online price and can use coupons

I have a love hate relationship with Macys, I love their clearance and their products. I HATE THE MESS, the struggle to find something because a lot of the workers are lazy. I have found very few to be helpful, while many are careless with organizing and annoyed at helping customers. I know in retail, especially Chicago, customers disorganize everything, but come on! You are hired precisely to reorganize and stock items in their place. So many times I have had to leave with $200-$300 in my pocket, because it is so frustrating to see the lack of commitment by the employees and the hassle to find an item. Seems like size labels are just there for luxury not at as a guide on the rack.

Great collection and very good service. It connects to the mall in every floor which is cool. It was quite convenient to hit Garrett's from one of its exit doors in 7th floor.
Huge store so every section is covered comprehensively.

Great store for world standard brands. Very well laid out sections for all people to choose from a wide variety of clothes and accessories.

I already spent more than 1 hour trying to change a girl jacket and it's impossible. The kids department is terrible!.

Maybe you could just get lucky for a seasonal sale.

Love everything about Macy's, from cosmetics skin care clothing shoe winter summer and kids collection jewelry, bags, kitchen and what not. my favourite place to shop all in one place. I just miss electronics in Macy's i hope you have them soon. people here are amazingly helpful, very experienced, professional and kind. We shop for our family from Macy's all the time.

I love the Channel counter and my wonderful Channel Expert Rhonda...She is the Best and she helps me every year around Mother's Day with reminding me and sending a gift to my Mom. She is so extremely personable and helpful. The Best..Mlisa

I shop Macys cause it's close to my job, the service there is awful and some of the sales associates act like they're doing you a favor by ringing your puchase.
If you know what you want and don't need any assistance you'll be good.

Service was excellent, and the selections were huge with the vast variety of clothing items as well as beauty products. Because of its location in the Magnificent Mile, this department store was always full of customers.

You can DEFINATELY tell who their target market and biggest purchasers are!!!

macys has a very wide variety of clothes from expensive brands to more affordable ones. personally, whenever i need a piece of clothing i just pop in there and find it immediately. the customer service serves a big part in my liking of the store. the staff are extremely kind and make you feel like you are an important person.

Went to see what they had on sale far as purses and wallets they had a very nice sale.

There is everything from good offers to branded clothes with prices that you better not take into account. It makes you want not to leave each and every floor of the warehouse. And it is more I went to the two premises with the same perception

This mall has a great selection of stores. The food court is one of the better ones. The parking Garage has discounted rates for arriving after 5.
