We had a great big room with a sitting area. The room didn't have carpeting, which was surprising. The bathroom had his and hers sinks, so no waiting. The comfy robes were a nice touch. Friendly service, although (due to Covid?) they did not have everyday housekeeping unless you requested it.

Beautiful up scale and modern place for a professional or social gathering. Parking is unfortunately extravagantly expensive. They're taking advantage of the fact that there's nowhere else to park. Not appreciated. They could throw in a free drink or something with that fee.

Terrible staff and service. Treated me like a trespasser while a registered guest. Extremely rude and cold staff with no sense of guest comfort and relaxation which is what I was there for Despicable

Parking here is only valet which means if you wanna leave you need to wait 5 to 10 minutes for your car and tip them when you arrive or leave. I stayed on the bottom floor in a pretty nice room but some of the valet parking is directly outside my window and for some reason car alarms keep going off starting at 10:30 pm and it takes them about five minutes to find the keys to then turn them off. The Wi-Fi is free but they use a captive portal meaning that if you leave it s a huge hassle to connect again and get that webpage to pop up to then put in your username and your password.

UPDATE: I just got the charge on my card and they charged you for parking and add that to your bill It was another 120 bucks added.

Very nice. Valet very prompt. Room clean. They do charge for all tug e snacks they put out so don't eat them if u are not prepared to be charged 5 for a bag of animal cookies. Pool was nice. Hotel is pet friendly but you couldnt even tell petswere on the premises. Staff were amazing and very helpful

Good location on sunset blv. spacious rooms. However, corridor smells very bad as most reviews stated. it is an old hotel, bathroom is very old, bed uncomfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A microcosm of LA: Luxury served in an expensive and poorly designed way that necessitates car usage.

If you stay here prepare to be stranded. The hotel is spread out in a peculiar way that forces visitors to use a shuttle to get around rather than simply walk. There is an incredibly small pedestrian path that is not protected from cars. Furthermore, if you try to leave the hotel on foot the sidewalk ends before you ve gone more than 30ft. Did I mention they charge a ton for parking? So if you stay, Uber is a must.

The rooms were large and enjoyable, the pool is nice and there are games like ping pong available. On the flip side, the walls/ceilings are super thin and not sound proof.

I've been staying here twice a year for three decades, and I know and like several generations of staff. I must like it.

Hotel very poorly located in my opinion right next to the expressway. Nevertheless the rooms are spacious.

Best experience ever! The exquisite attention to detail is obvious throughout the whole hotel. The design was absolutely stunning and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms, onsite activities, dining, and shopping make it easy to relax in one place without getting bored and hassle. Highly recommended hotel.

Terrible experience. Paid $600 as we booked an executive suite and a pool cabana in advance only to find there was no room ready for us. Went to the pool to wait in our cabana for the room only to find that they let people just use cabanas that did NOT pay and promised cabanas to other people. The staff is incompetent and I strongly recommend you stay at a classier hotel as there are plenty in the area.

Its really nice hotel the cool part is that presidebt obama has stayed there and other celebs the views are nice too the service and the foid were great the have tablets now too to call for room service and food its a good hotel nothing better

highly disappointed with the service that I just received. I was going to meet a client at the lobby tonight for 10 mins. I had called the hotels valet 3 hrs ago and ask what they charge for parking. I did tell them that I am meeting a client who needs to sign 1 paper and that I will be done in 10 minutes. the valet person that for the first 15 mi uses they dont charge and that its $11 after. I arrived to the hotel 30 minutes earlier and pulled into valet. I informed the person that I am meeting a client and will take 10 minutes. he said no problem and to come back closer to 730pm. now here is the problem. when I went back at 730pm Mario refused to take my car and park it for 10 15 minutes for fee. he demanded I pay $5 for 2 hours. I told him that my client will not cover parking and that 2 other people told me it's free. after arguing with him for couple of meetings, he agreed but then turned around and said "if you are late more than 10 minutes, I am going to write you a ticket" and then he turned to another valet guy and asked for the time.

it's just so sad that a hotel like this hires people like that. I even recommended my client to stay here. believe me this is going to be the last time. someone needs to touch mario customer service

This hotel has a style all it's own! Clean rooms and nice swimming pool. Highly recommend the restaurant too.

I wasn t suppose to stay at this beautiful hotel but because I had a complete disaster with Airbnb, this hotel came to the rescue. Came in the middle of night, the front desk updated my friends and I to a suite. Very clean and very private. The only thing I wish that could of been better is the price for overnight parking. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Location was great as well, close to everything and freeway !

I seriously love this hotel!! The staff remembers us and treats us like the most important guest they have. Room service is no more expensive than going out to eat in L.A. and it os very tasty It's these little moments that help make the travel worth it.

Attended a wedding here. Food was amazing (appetisers including bacon wrapped scallops, prosciutto with melon balls, sushi, and lamp chops). Venue was beautiful with nice lighting and landscape in the garden.

Large rooms with small bathrooms that appear to be converted from a motel. Hotel is ok in a pinch.

Was nearby here during the Skirball Fire in 2017, and stopped in for some coffee during a long shift. They were extremely gracious and offered coffee for EMS workers at the fire.

Solid but uninspired. Staff in the bar not very attentive. Foodnin the restaurant is good and reasonably priced.

This hotel is rated 4 diamonds. As far as I am concerned it should get 1 star. Booked my room through AAA and got a great price. Was told at the front desk the hotel imposes an incident surcharge on their room's. If I was not invited to a Bar-Mitzvah, I would have left the hotel. A joke. Never reserve a room at this hotel.

I loved my stay at Luxe. The staff is great, property is nice, and I never wanted to get out of that bed (seriously, they have the most comfortable pillows).

Seems like a very nice hotel very private location and beautiful ambience. I was at an event and the breakfast they provided was buffet style and only kind of mediocre. That was surprising.

Very understated place, that offers a tranquil setting amidst the activity of LA. Spacious grounds, pool, gym, balconies on most rooms, and secluded from surrounding busy streets.

Haven't been in the rooms but went to a gala in the ballroom and it was really nice. It have a great outdoor space with it as well that really breezy and nice.

Very Over priced for what we get. After checking in you need to walk far to your room with all your stuff and there is rarely any carts available. Breakfast is $50 per person if u plan to eat there and parking is an additional $40 per night per car. I found this last minuet not knowing the area and hotels but I have found other things for that price that come with more. Over all was an ok experience more flaws then the good

My wife and I stayed here just to get away from our everyday life for a weekend. Overall, it was ok. The staff was nice. The location is pretty close to a lot of attractions. The rooms were decent, not great. Although we had no major complaints, I would probably look for another place to stay next time.

Hotel is in a great central spot and is quiet and peaceful. The rooms themselves are quite dated but fine if you're planning on sleeping and not spending much time in there. Very affordable. Great breakfast menu.

Went here to charge a tesla since they claim to have tesla charging. They charged $11 to enter the garage to charge the car. Told me it says on Google that parking charges apply however not true.

Went for an event. Bar looked great. Has an upscale look and feel. Looking forward to having dinner here.

Sheldon was the best, he is so friendly, I was super uncomfortable and felt out of place and Sheldon went out of his way to make me feel a little better. I can't wait to go back.

Great service, excellent location and a very nice hotel. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the finish work in the rooms (paint, grout, tile) was mediocre quality. It could have just been or suite, but it wasn't what I would expect from such a high end hotel.

It is Boutique hotel with easy access to the famous 405 freeway. This beautiful boutique hotel has Executive suites, Suites. With indoor and outdoor dining options. A spectacular swimming pool. Enjoy your stay.

The Luxe definitely lives up to it's name! I was there for work in March and I was treated with the utmost care from arrival to departure. Too many pluses to rattle off, so I will let the pictures speak for themselves as far as the site goes. However, I must say, the golf cart service up the hill to my room was very helpful and convenient. The eatery/bar in the lobby was a comfort in the evening whilst I was saddened by the rainy day. I will be back just to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of life.

Pretty fancy place with diverse, nice, and helpful staff. Facilities are nice and up to date, and it's right near The Gettu museum which is absolutely gorgeous. The first night here, there was a TV shoot, and since we're not the fanciest people we feel a little out-of-place, but the staff doesn't seem to mind. The restaurant, bar, lounge, and pool are also absolutely perfect. Honestly the best place I've ever stayed, and I hope to return soon!
