Always got my school's back for our shows and performances, and their equipment is top notch.

Great staff in the rentals section, very helpful and knowledgeable. Happened to be there on half price rental day too - sweet!

I personally love this store. The staff is quick to help. my only issue would go towards the location of the store which is usually hard to get to (narrow roads and often trucks unloading or cars parked by the entrance of the plaza)

Attentive service and knowledgeable personnel. Large stock and selection. The store is well organized and bright. Merchandise is easy to spot. A tad pricey.

So i came here to get my first electric guitar. I told one of the store clerks which guitar i was looking for, and after only a minute of searching on his computer,they said the guitar was in stock. the clerk showed me a lot of great features on the guitar, and also had an amazing price for it, so i couldn't say no. (they also threw in a few free picks as well!) I'm currently extremely happy with my guitar, and looking forward to going back for an amp to rent. Thank you so much Long&Mcquade, my experience here was amazing, keep up the good work.

The staff is very friendly and professional, they are very helpful and have really good recommendations. Ended up buying a guitar and amp from them and really happy with the purchase!

Horrible place. DO NOT BRING YOUR GUITAR TO GET FIXED HERE. They will charge you 60 dollars to "fix" your guitar and just change your strings. Staff was very rude and we're too busy talking to their co workers. I brought my guitar here to get fixed since there was a bit of buzzing, they said they can get everything in 3 days done for 60 bucks. They call me back 2 weeks later, guitar just had strings changed. Screws missing, asked them to fix it again, staff just brushed me off and said "they will get it done" while continuing his weekend story to his co-worker.

I love being here.... Awesome place .... U can actually try out instruments..... Staff are friendly and helpful.

This is the store I always go to and the service I receive there is always excellent! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable so you know you will get the best advice possible. Would recommend this store to anyone

As I have stated before. L&McQ staff are tops. Just doesn t matter it seems what location you find yourself in, always polite, always friendly and always go the extra mile to serve you. Weather you are a regular or not (going to a new location). They totally make you feel that they are their for you as long as needed and they don t hover when your just looking. By far a true Canadian success story that other retailer should model from. Thank you Mr. Long and Thank you Mr McQuade for providing such a great music store for all. You guys rock!

Great selection of guitars and all of other instruments. Fast service, courteous salespeople and competitive prices.

Had an excellent experience. Sam helped me. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. Buying a new guitar is exciting and I'm very glad I went to Long & McQuade at Markham Rd and Ellesmere in Scarborough.

This is a great place to go to if u wanna try out some new instruments or even buy one. The staff here is very friendly. There is even a repair station here if ur instrument needs some repairs. Overall, i would recommend this to anyone who is starting out or a seasoned professional.

Very helpful and friendly staff. She helped us pick out a ukelele and even gave us a bag(at no charge) for my daughter to carry it in.

Long and Mcquade is a great company, normally with great service. I ve spent 10k+ there. But everyone at this location has an ego. Terrible customer service. Not just on one occasion they ve refused to do things for me that other stores do no problem, then give me attitude. I d definitely recommend driving to Pickering or the Markham city store. Never had a problem there at all!

I wanted to buy a satin black Schecter through this store. After a week of waiting I found that my Guitar was on back order for five months! I was disappointed but the rentals manager looked into how he could fix things. I did my own research and found another company's store which had a white guitar in stock. When I spoke to the manager again he had found the same guitar, and mentioned they would simply source it from that store.
I was impressed that he would pony up that information... but I didn't want a white guitar. Later I spoke with Sean and he looked into what models were not on back order. He and the rentals manager also offered me a rental for free till that guitar arrived. I went with this and two weeks later got my sweet metal ax.
I appreciate the effort, guys! You were diligent, honest, and went above and beyond. Thanks.

It s a good store for quick accessories and maybe for beginners but there were many items not in inventory

Dave the guitar tech always does fantastic work on any guitar problems you may have. They are respectful and knowledgeable about products and instruments. If you are new to music as a student or seasoned professional they have everything you need here. Sometimes I found lower prices here than competitors online.

I rent audio equipment here fairly regularly and they always have very helpful, friendly staff, and service is quick even if they're busy.

Justin and Michael are well experienced and very helpful every time I've visited.

My son love this place. He can easily spend 2 hours in this store. All employees are friendly and helpful. We rent instruments for the entire school year from this store. Never faced any difficulty.

I've been going here regularly for the last 4 years, since I was 16, and I've always had positive interactions with the staff whether I'm buying something big or just a new set of strings. The staff have been so helpful over the last 4 years, I can't thank them enough. From helping me with rentals, to repairing my guitars, and sharing their product knowledge with me. This will always be my favorite Long & Mcquade, even when I move out of Scarborough I will never stop shopping here and I wish all the best to staff!

Great people and service. Had a problem work a microphone that are purchased a while back but still under warranty and they I'm taking my mic in for repairs and give me a free replacement while mine is being fixed awesome job thank you very much !

Purchased a DJ controller, but after bring it home found out that it was used. Returned to the store and was able to get a new one without hassle. And found out that other controllers could be rented out to try....nice bonus
