Interestingly everything is pretty much the same as before the fire and flood. The layout, the food, and even the service. Everything was so-so, and everything is still so-so.

This used to be by Jysk on 8th St. Glad to see that the same awesome food is on the menu! The chicken balls are especially good, a very thin crisp layer of batter. So much selection, very clean too.

My wife and I are not big buffet fans. We went because some others in our group like buffets. This was our first visit. The place looked clean, large variety of food was available and service was good. Not sure how often I would go back on my own, but if you want good value and quality for your money, I would recommend it.

At first glance this is a clean new restaurant. They reopened in January 2019 after a fire. I found thier food a mix of good and bland. Meaning some dishes were tasty others were styrofoam. The buffet itself is big with three and a half rows to choose from. It is a mix of Canadian food and Asian. The service was good. The server got us multiple refills. What worries me is the state of their bathroom. We ate at 4pm before the rush when one would expect a clean restaurant everywhere. Garbages were not empty, counters were not wiped down, floor needed a mopping and a sweeping. It worries me is they let the bathrooms slide what else may have slipped too. Of course it is also possible that this was a one off so I shall have to try them again to know for sure. Problem for me was cost vs taste does not make me want to rush out there again.

It was awesome. Good food, great service, clean new place. The wait at 6pm to get a table for 4 was about 5-10 min on a wednesday. It was significantly less busy at about 7-730

Paid around $16 as an individual for a buffet lunch. You can tell they go for quantity over quality with the taste of the food offered

Great tasting, fresh food options plus delicious desserts. Service was fantastic with hardly any wait to get a table. My wife and I went around 4.30pm on a Sunday. Will definitely go back!

Many choices of food, but fairly bland overall. Ginger beef is not very flavorful, beef ribs and sweet and sour pork are mundane at best. Won't return here.

Great place for a buffet. Love the chicken balls, spring rolls, fried chicken and California rolls. I'm surprised at how I like the California roll at a buffet, it's usually awful at buffets.

Asian Buffet in Saskatoon is one of the best Asian style buffet's I have ever had the pleasure of trying.

Lots of comfortable seating, vast quantities of food with a whole lot of choices. So many choices that even the pickiest of eaters would be satisfied.

The one thing that really surprised me, was the highest quality of food served. Better quality than a lot of brand name restaurants.

The atmosphere was relaxing, the service of their staff was top notch. And all at very fair price.

Thank you Asian Buffet for allowing my family to have a great dining experience. We will return.

Seems like everytime I go there the service gets worse and worse. Went there today and the food was no good was very disappointed, waitresses didn't want to clear away the dirty plates or bring refills. And to top it off the waitresses rush you to pay and demand that you pay at the table. Won't be going back there for a while.

My only complaints is that ... I was really mad that fact there was still 1 1/2 until closing time u ... don t stock chow main noodles that why I come there and was told that there no more going cooked and put out and had to about 40 mins get a table

Cleaner and better maintained than I would have expected.
If you want to eat a lot of OK food this is the place for you. If you're not the type of person to take 2-3 heaping servings you won't feel you got your money's worth here. The quality is decent, but quantity is where it's at.

Good food for the exception there was too much breading on the chicken

Very good buffet. There's a large selection to pick from so there's probably something for everyone. I really liked the deep fried shrimp, batter was great. Overall a good place to go. Service was friendly. Inside it's a little awkward of a layout but still going 5 stars for the food and service.

The food was great but the service was pretty bad... we came in with a larger group (16ppl) and it took the server about 45 min to figure out the bills and get her stuff straightened out. Too bad...

There good is great, good variety and it always taste great, prices are reasonable, and plenty of items are vegetarian or gluten free (however they are not labeled as such so you have to know your stuff.)

Great food, so many items to choose from, friendly staff and the prices are reasonable too. The fish and chips was my personal favorite.

I love this place.

The amount of options at this buffet has reduced drastically since reopening after covid shutdown. They serve the food to you at the buffet which is kinda nice but different. Seating is limited to half capacity, and they have removed tables that are not needed which is nice, there is lots of room in the restaurant so social distancing is not a issue. They seem to be keeping up on the wipe down of tables but not so much doors...

One of the better chinese restaurants in Saskatoon. The buffet has a lot of variety such as fried rice, fried chicken, salads, fruits, sushi, ribs and so on. Great customer service too.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Asia Buffet based on the high reviews. We re pretty split on our opinion, but we agree it does not warrant as high of a score as it is given. From my perspective, it was mediocre at best, as it did not offer any stand-out options that couldn't be found at every other Asian buffet. The fried options, including the chicken balls, shrimp, and fish tasted very greasy, and I couldn t eat more than one of each before I felt as if I was filling up on batter and oil. It all tasted quite bland, under-seasoned, and a little processed. The overall options felt a little slim compared to other buffets - only offering two islands of hot food, with most of the choices being fried.

However, my boyfriend loved the fried chicken, and the cooked fish fillets were tasty to us both. Besides our mixed opinions, the service was adequate and the restaurant was very clean, but the buffet's variety of food is generic and can be found at plenty of other Asian restaurants. It was a decent meal, but we don t understand the hype and we aren t in a hurry to visit again.

I wish they had blinds on the windoes tho, when the sunsets you just have a blast

The only thing was I came late near the closing.. so the fresh-ness of the food went down. But overall it's good. Best time to go is during primetime while they keep producing fresh foods.

Asian food that we find in other restaurants as well. Cost similar to others, nothing extra ordinary
