We really liked the food here, and being upstairs was a nice break from the busy street. Drinks were a little weak, but par with other places, it's not a bar, it's a restaurant.

Service not good... food not so good. Taco bell is better

Horrible. This isn't even Mexican food. It's like frozen food I put in the oven..Horrible waste of money.

Horrible service rude staff after waiting for over an hour for our food staff and manager acted like it was our fault for ordering.

This was our first time coming here & the experience was horrible. The chips tasted like throw up & the salsa watery. We had no silverware or salt. The host was very rude and unorganized. The prices are too high for the quantity and quality of food you get. To add on the food was not good. My family & I will NOT be coming back again.

We would go back. Not the cheapest, but I sure did love my grilled fish tacos. Parents loved their food! Kids are still working on their taste buds. Up the escalator and you have arrived. They a good amount of seating and the bar stools are cool. Waiter was great! Hostess must have been having a bad day. She was not so happy. Don't let that discourage you from trying the place out.

Best Mexican food I've had in a long while. Will definitely be back, even though they are 6hrs from my town.

Food was good, waiter was nice. It was the hostesses that I really had an issue with.

They placed our group at a high table, which was inconsiderate to my grandmother who is in a wheelchair even after we told them multiple times that she was in a wheelchair. She ended up having to sit at a regular height table with three of my aunt's, isolated from the rest of us.

Please be more inclusive to people of different abilities in the future.

Way too expensive for Mexican cuisine. The cheese dip was $6.99. Elsewhere it sells for $3.00. I spent over $20 for an entree with the cheese dip, and a glass of water. The food was average at best.

The food was absolutely terrible. If your here for the drinks I m sure you ll have a great experience with this place. Otherwise I wouldn t recommend eating here at all.

The food was good but the service well needs work. There was a total lack of communication between employees working and seating people. We waited almost an hour and had been passed up several times . Finally once we mentioned it we were seated. Our server was not attentive at all and was very slow checking on anyone at our table. Honestly out of everywhere we ate at the service here was the absolute worst.

We had a chance to eat at the rooftop eating area and we had a blast. The soft steak taco was delicious!

The escalator ride was a huge bonus for the kids!

The food and drinks were overpriced and the server was visibly unhappy when we told her that we would just have appetizers and drinks.

I enjoyed the atmosphere & food. The other 2 with me didn't like it as much. One didn't like the 2 salsas & other hated the steak fajitas & the margarita!? I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day! Our server Larry was EXCELLENT.

Pretty good Tex-Mex fare, enjoyed the food and margaritas. Good place to stop for dinner and a level above (literally and figuratively) the food available along most of the tourist strip.

I didn t like the food quality and I don t think so it s an authentic Mexican restaurant. This place is in central of everything , no matter how bad food they make / serve , they always have customer . We have ordered quesadillas and was surprised to see egg plant in black beans(side) . It was very bad in taste ... other dish which we ordered was kids tacos and they served that with fries. Common this is a Mexican restaurant , who serve fries with Mexican tacos ? There was nothing like fruits, black beans or any other side for kids .

Good food and the rooftop bar/firepit are a nice place.

The food here is amazing. Try anything with the brisket, you won't be disappointed! They also have a great rooftop patio and deck patio that overlook Gatlinburg.

The food was great but Do not order a 20oz beer in a glass, it s more like a 15oz!

The food was delicious, drinks were good too. I would've given them 5 stars, but our server took forever getting us our drinks for to being sat a huge party. No fault of his though.

Can't say enough good things about this place!! The fajitas were awesome, the margaritas were on point and eating on the balcony was so fun!! You're right on the strip so you can people watch traffic coming in and out of town!!

Stuffed jalapenos were "hot" and spicy! Delicious. Modelo was cold and refreshing. Server was great.

Food was ok, but service was lacking. Host didn't bring silverware to the table when we were sat. Took over five minutes to get them once our good was brought out. Food cooled considerably. Was never asked of I'd like something redone or if I'd like for it to be warmed up . Check was discounted because of this, not comped, as I believe it should have been done. The view is beautiful from the rooftop at night, but that truly didn't make up for the sub par service. Won't return .

Food was good but service is not. We got there at 9:15pm and left around 10:30. Our waiter was not attentive and barely spoke besides asking what we wanted to drink and eat. He didn t check on us at all after taking our order.

What a cool place with [what we're told is] the only rooftop patio in Gatlinburg! The wait for the roof wasn't even too long, and they send you a text message when your table is ready, which is super convenient. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the service was okay...the waiter was just a bit frantic all the time (even near close with a mostly empty roof) and didn't come back to us much.

Expensive chicken wasn't cooked it was cold.. And the service was bad..

Good food and nice ambience on the balcony overlooking the main drag....... Until the smokers showed up. I understand if this is the smoking area but it would have been nice if the hostess had made us aware of this before seating us.

Great food and service. We make this a go-to place anytime we are in town. They also have fantastic Margaritas!

This rating is based solely in comparison to what's available in the area. Outside of Tennessee this would be a two-star but it's hard to find any edible Mexican in Tennessee which this is. The views from the rooftop are great so definitely sit up there as it's even worth a wait. Drinks are all mix so I recommend sticking to beer and wine.

Food was decent at best. You can tell that it's a chain restaurant and not family owned.

Gatlinburg is one huge tourist trap, so not surprising that Loco Burro is overpriced and not that great. You can't really escape it in Gatlinburg. The food is good enough with pretty big portions. I would say it's an okay choice within the area.

A few good things about this place - seating and the server. There appears to be plenty of seating in large restaurant. My party of 3 was seated almost immediately upon entering. Our server was a young man who spoke slightly broken English. He wasn't the best in terms of communication or skill, but he was very friendly and welcoming.

My group ordered Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, and some type of Burrito.

The Guacamole was terrible. It needed more salt, veggies, AND lime. It was basically lightly salted mashed avocados... Where's all the onion and tomato?

The Chicken Tortilla Soup was decent. A good side or small meal if you're not very hungry. It was pretty standard. Nothing special.

The Burrito was also decent and pretty big. Probably the best thing that the group ordered. I didn't have much of it, so I can't say too much. There weren't any exclamations on its taste / flavor from my friend.

If you're craving Mexican food, go ahead. Just don't expect too much from it.

I'm not a Mexican fan, I only go to appease my husband, but I have to say this is some of the best Mexican I've had.

Over all food was good. Queso is yummy and the chicken fajitas have a good marinade, although I've never had skin on my chicken in fijitas before. They give you Mexican butter to pour over the top. Very rich! Hubby had the crunchy beef tacos. He said they were okay.

Best Shrimp Taco I have ever had!!! We will be back to eat at least a couple more times on our trip! Today we had shrimp taco, beef enchilada, beef chimichanga & the most amazing home made salsa in the world!!! If you are looking for a fun restaurant to eat at with GREAT service go see Cristian ... he will hook you up!!! He was so nice, kept our drinks full, brought our food out hot and was very professional!!!

Fun fun fun!! Got to do the bullride!! Great service! Burritos are delicious!
