Not bad at all. Definitely try the beef Chimichangas.

The food and atmosphere was definitely worth the hour wait. Plus the wait was easy as the estimate was very accurate and you could leave and they would text you when they were getting a table ready for you. ....did I mention the food was fantastic? lol

Food and service was good. Disappointed with the beer selection. Why not support the LOCAL beer scene. I travel a lot and enjoy searching out beers that I can not get at home. Between the 7 of us we would have purchased 14 beers. Instead we ordered water. I am sure that we are not the only ones to do so. Don't you have local beers at your other franchises? Hopefully the next time I am in town your beer selection will include your neighbors products.

Food and location is amazing! The best tasting Mexican we have ever had. Service was a bit slow and the water tasted a lil funny but overall a great dinner spot!

Our serving was amazing. Never saw the bottom of my drink or ran out of salsa or chips. Food was really good. Recommend trio tacos.

I was with a party of 5 adults having a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. The place was super inviting and interestingly decorated, and clean in appearance. We were seated immediately as not many tables were full at that time. It took a little longer to get our drink order taken, no biggie. Our waitor who was barely audible over loud music and quite frankly not wanting to speak louder left a lot to be desired. I have worked many years in fast paced food service environments and his performance at our table was FAR under par. He portrayed the attitude that he would rather not even be working to serve us that day. Rolling his eyes and what seemed to be pretending not to hear us trying to get his attention. Yes, we were dreaded tourists in a tourist town, but dang. When we asked questions about ammending orders to suit what we wanted we were answered with a sarcastic snicker and an "absolutely not because the food is all premade"....what the?! That seemed odd, but what do I know anymore? The food took a long time to come out (about an hour) and the bill seemed high for VERY spicy, premade food. All these are small things that just added up to an unenjoyable, disappointing lunch :-/

A Server with the name Victor need to be fired. He is very rude and offensive.I don t even want to explain my worst scenario which we went through. Hope the management will train the servers and give basic tips to deal with customers.

The margaritas were amazing, the pitcher was definitely worth the money. The rooftop bar was very relaxing and the view was great as well. Our bartender was awesome too! Great place to eat for a late lunch or if you like to drink

In here at this moment and service is lacking. Drink presentation is bland and it's really not that busy. Danny the waiter went straight to the table of bachelorettes and left me and my date hanging. Ordered some nachos and nothing.

Warm beer and slow service for a Mexican restaurant. Food tasted ok.

Fresh catch Red Snapper tacos - huge and delicious! Guacamole is amazing. Salsas also. Carne asada is HUGE portion. We loved everything and are picky about Mexican food - cute decor, great roof top bar, margaritas looked killer but didn't try.

Fajitas are very good. Also had jalapeno rellenos for an appetizer. These were delicious. The rooftop patio has a great view of downtown and the wait staff was great.

Bartender was cool but we noticed when customers ordered a single margarita they would pour the shot in but when we ordered the 100 Oz. tower he said the alcohol was already in the mix but it sure didn't feel like it. It took us 1.5 hours to finish the tower and left sober. Service was good but def order singles not the tower. We spent 100.00 in less than 2 hours and all felt like we were shorted on the liquor for what we paid. I'll go back when we visit but stick with beers next time.

Aside from the service, there really wasn't anything positive about this place. Choose another Mexican restaurant before here. Taste was not that great, more Americanized Mexican food and way over priced. I guess you are paying for the rooftop atmosphere.

The service is fantastic and I don't understand why they are getting all these bad reviews when our waitress has been super attentive and done anything we have asked. I will definitely return.

First time in Tennessee form Chicago , read all the reviews here and honestly from a outsider ( from Chicago ) the food is top notch , you will not be disappointed at all . Roof top view is awesome . Shows you all around the area .

Came back a second time before we leave back to Chicago

Came to eat here while walking on the strip in Gatlinburg about high noon. Nice escalator to the top and hostess is efficient. Bathrooms were average, wait was short, and service was quick. Not very many beer tap choices, IPA s are my favorite and none available except in a can. It was also too hot upstairs, need better AC system for the dining area. Food ordered was good portions and tasty. They also have a riding bull which was entertaining to watch people do. Pricing was on the moderate side , $$

My wife and I thought this was great. Super cheap prices and huge portions. The 7 layer chips app is awesome. Great staff.

Slooooow service, then ordered dessert and 30 minutes later was told they had not started the dessert. Food was ok but extra spicy. Salsa and chips we're good.

Live music on a roof top is hard to beat. Also awesome food.

Absolutely delicious food, the rooftop seating area and bar is one of the only ones of its kind in the area, great service and friendly staff, willing to accommodate for anything you need. They will gladly turn on the fire pits for you once the sun goes down. The music and atmosphere is enjoyable and quite festive. The food is incredibly flavorful, and plates are decorative, food is always warm. There is plenty of seating, so wait is never too bad. There is even a mechanical bull inside up the stairs. All that being said, I hope to come back soon! Thank you all so much for such a great time!

My husband and I were both food poisioned here on Sunday Nov. 20th 2016. Be careful, when I called the manager and asked him to check the temperature of the meat and prep area he dismissed our complaint.

The food here was really good! You can make any vegetarian meal vegan by asking for no cheese, sour cream, or rice! Our waiter, Vlad, asked us if we were vegan (because we asked for no sour cream or cheese) and informed us that the rice was cooked with butter. He offered extra beans in place of the rice, which was really amazing! We really appreciate the care that the employees take and how clean it was. Thank you guys for making our visit awesome!

The food is overrated. Server Ernesto was good. Wouldn't go again definitely not traditional Mexican food

We like the myrtle beach location (oops, learned not associated with Burro Loco). We left without ordering, we were seated at high top table in bar and bartender seem to tune us out when we didn't order liquor or appetizers. Asked for a moment to look at menu and he never came back.
I do give them credit for not charging us for sodas when went to bar to close bill when we finished drinks and half a basket of chips with him never coming back to table.

Absolutely fantastic food! The service was amazing. Can't believe I've not come here on all my other trips to Gatlinburg.

We have eaten here before and enjoyed it, but this time we had a bad experience. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be 20 minutes. The restaurant had a lot of empty tables so we couldn't understand why we had to wait so long to be seated. We waited for at least 25 minutes and then the hostess left and went over to operate the mechanical burro while people were coming in with no one to greet them. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Our sever was horrible. Came in for a snack. Another server did more work to take care of our table then our server did. Older gentleman was great. Got drinks for our kids and took the initial order for our table. I cant remember the name of the one who was our server but was more interested in flirting with one of the other waitresses than taking care of our table. Food was good.

Being of Latin decent, these were the worse tacos & rice I ve ever eaten! I ordered the carnitas tacos, which were dry or old & no favor. The rice was a poor attempt of Mexican rice. It looks like it was white rice with tomato sauce & a can of mixed vegetables. In addition, the waitress wouldn t acknowledge any of my comments,she only would address my male friend!?

The food is AMAZING. Very fast and friendly service. There was a wait to get seated but definitely worth it.

A fun place to make memories. Our kids LOVE the Loco Burro ride. Try the rooftop seating here, it's on our list everytime. You can't go wrong with delicious food, string lights, and a rooftop to watch the sun set. Besides that we love to count how many dogs go by in strollers.

I actually might not even given then a 1 star. Service by Kesha was terrible. Don't think she smiled even once. We didn't get a drink order in after 15 minutes or longer of being seated. Food was terrible. Salsa tasted more like chili. Refried beans on my plate has chili spices in them and there was hardly any meat in my hard shell tacos. She was tipped accordingly I hate to say. She seemed pissed to actually be at work. Terrible attitude all around. Staff that seated us were not pleasant either. Both the young lady at the door to take your name and seat you and the apparent manager on duty were not pleasant. Don't waste your time. No Way Jose's was better by far. Staff were pleasant and food so much better.

Unique dining experience. Delicious salsa- I think it was black bean salsa...yummy! Tasty brisket tacos. Icy cold beer. Would highly recommend!!!

We were seated and served quickly. Best chips and salsa I've had (yes, they were free!) Our server (I think his name was Andrei) was amazing! He was very attentive without being overbearing. Portions and prices were good. Bright fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back when we visit the area again!

My all time favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is always served hot with fresh ingredients and delicious. Best nachos around. Chips are served free with two types of salsa. Upon request, a quacomolee bar will come to your table. We always sit on the roof top to enjoy the mountain views and people watch. There is also a covered balcony on the 2nd level, a bar on both levels and the famous bucking burro to ride. Prices are very reasonable. Loco Burro does not disappoint! Delicious food and fun environment!

Theres atleast 6 tables completely clean and empty but we have been waiting for 30 minutes while those tables are open

Typical Mexican food of good performance, controlled festive atmosphere, magnificent bar and adequate service despite the pressure of the guests.

Fantastic wait staff and food. They stayed open late to accommodate our group of 40.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. We try to go at least once every time we visit Gatlinburg. I always get the Carnita Chimi. It hasn't changed in the last three years. So delicious. Their mixed drinks are good and if you have room at the end of the night I would highly recommend the fried ice cream for dessert. (Sometimes we leave, walk dinner off and come back) All in all this place never disappoints!

They told us 30 minutes then we were told 30 minutes more. Rude and a bad attitude.

the Service is horrible!!!! we actually waited over an hour for food when thw restaraunt was empty, the waitor told me the cooks were being lazy and sure enough i walked around to see the grill was still clean! other tables were waiting just as long all the while the kitchen staff was just hanging out!!!
