Who doesn't love a cheekily named resteraunt in the heart of a tourist area that has huge margaritas and decent quality food. Far from the best Mexican fare you can find, but often a shorter wait here than other places and if you are hungry and need a drink, this crazy place won't let you down. Drink a few too many and try the bull ride, make sure to Uber or stumble back to hotel though. Please be responsible...

Love the roof top. We eat here every time we come to Gatlinburg. Great margaritas.

They water down their alcohol. I did 4 shots of Patron and could still function. Spent about $100 in booze between my girlfriend and I and left sober. Can't believe this place is in business.

Really disappointed with the food and drink here. The burrito was half filled with rice so you take a couple bites of meat and then it's a rice filled tortilla. The THIRTY DOLLAR pitcher of margaritas may not have even had any tequila in it, personally I think I'd be a little buzzed after half a pitcher. Service was okay but as a lover of Hispanic cuisine this left me with a bill for $75 and regret. Wish I would have turned back as soon as I walked in.

Get experience!! Try the pitcher of margarita!! Cheap and taste great. Food and staff so good. Gatlinburg is the best

Very good seasoning on the meats. Delicious chips and salsa. Price is right. Service excellent. Margheritas are excellent. The only drawback is the bad smell.

Food is always great! They have a mechanical bull for those brave enough to try. The rooftop tho....to sit and eat and watch the hustle and bustle below or the stars above....great place!

Food is good. Pricey.(Tourist area). Portions are large, do you get your money worth. Menu is kinda small. Salsa is not good. Overall grade =B

Food was BLAND.....I've never had cheese that didn't have a taste but their cheese had NO taste at all. Wayyyyy over priced. My husband had the fajita's, I had the cheese quesadilla and our granddaughter had two soft shell tacos. She nor I ask for the rice, beans, etc but they included them (which we did not eat) and she had a coke and my husband and I had a margarita. Our check was $91 and some change!!! OMG!!! Can you say rip off????? We won't be back nor recommend it.

The chips and salsas were tasty. I got the shrimp tacos and really liked them. They were different than others I've had elsewhere.. But in a good way. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food and service were both excellent. A unique experience on the patio with live music. Free chips and salsa, on par with the best you'll find anywhere.

The chicken fajitas were very good. Our waitress did well also.

The steak in my chimichonga was good but my husband's beans and rice was cold. They moved us twice. The hostess first put us one place and forgot we were there and then moved bus again. DinDo believe the hype!

Seriously don't know where the positive reviews came from. Don't waste your time.

Reallly really expensive beer. 3.75 for a bottle of miller light I think? Butttttt the rooftop bar was cool for sure. Those bar chairs are so big they could eat you up! Lol
Great experience.

First the hostess, who apparently had a cold, coughed into her hand. With a line of drool going from her hand to her mouth she grabbed our menus. After being seated we waited for for almost 10 min (in a nearly empty restaurant) before a waitress showed up to take our drink order. She brought drinks and some chips and salsa. The extra salsa was supposed to have some "heat" to it. Maybe it's because we are from Louisiana, but the heat was non-existent. The food came ok. It was average with no real flavor to burrito. Nothing really stood out. Maybe it was to late that I realized the name of the restaurant is really called "Crazy Ass". Very forgettable and a waste of calories. If there was one standout, it was our waitress who was friendly and attentive.

This is a fun restaurant! Most of the food is tasty, but be careful if you make any changes to the dish.

The butt bar stools were a blast to take pictures at! The decorations are neat. Overall just a fun place to be. The food was good. I had the cheese enchiladas and a strawberry daiquiri both were delicious. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful.

However, something seemed off in the kitchen. My order was wrong when it originally came out. I asked for no beans. Our waitress noticed before it even made it to the table and took it back immediately. When it came out the second time it was correct.

My aunt's order we weren't so lucky with. She ordered the veggie fajitas with no onions or peppers. When it first came to the table, there were onions and peppers. Our waitress took it back and was very kind. The 2nd time it came out, the onions and peppers were gone, but there were barely any other vegetables on the plate and they were raw. We asked for them to be cooked longer. When it came out the 3rd time, the vegetables were cooked, but there were still hardly any on the plate. We asked for more to compensate. When more vegetables came out, you probably guessed it, they were raw. This was the 4th time we had to say something about the food and we were just done at that point. My aunt ate the raw vegetables.

Overall great place, but the kitchen doesn't seem to do well when dishes change.

They have super good food be cautious of the shrimp tacos they will light your mouth in fire. The brisket tacos are absolutely amazing. They also have bull riding inside as well. Great place to drink and have a good time.

Give the 5 lb burrito a shot!.... Tastes awesome!!!

Once the server got to the table (took a little while, they were busy on rooftop), everything was perfect and ran smoothly. Food was amazing. There was live acoustic music to add to it. Love the atmosphere. Just a heads up to parents of small kids with a stroller though, an escalator was the only way I saw to get up to the main restaurant then stairs to the roof. They will let you park the stroller on the main level though in the area behind the hostess stand once you make it up the escalator.

The food is outstanding. The service is awesome. Best Mexican restaurant I have been to.

I dined here for lunch with my mother and three children. I want to first say that our server worked his butt off ! The hostess over sat him the entire time we were there ! He was constantly running taking orders getting drinks etc. The hostess actually told us that she was moving our original seat she was going to put us at to this one because the service would be so much better . He was prompt on taking our order and getting our drinks. We ordered one burrito , two tacos , and two quesadilla kids meals ( so nothing too complicated ). Fast forward to 20 minutes later a family of six ( 4 adults ) were sat next to us . They had a different waitress. They ordered etc. Fast forward another 35 minutes ( so 55 minutes after we ordered the food ) the family of six next to us got their six meals !! The family actually leaned over before we said anything and said we are so sorry we can t believe we got our food before yours. I said something to our waiter he ran back to the kitchen and magically our food was ready and came right out ! You could tell he was just very overwhelmed ( not his fault as he was way over sat despite the fact they were well staffed and I noticed several of the younger waitresses had maybe two tables a piece ). So the waiter after bringing our food told us that the manager would stop by ( now mind you all I did was say that the table go their food before ours and to check on our food I said nothing else to him but when he brought the food back you could tell he knew he had let it sit there as he was running around getting orders and drinks ). The manager came over looked at me and said very non shalantly well everything ok right ? I explained how took over an hour for our food and table next to ours got theirs before ours despite arriving after us and being a bigger party . The manager very sarcastically and non caring said well things take longer to make then others and I don t know what they got (they got several orders of fajitas and burritos and nachos ) she said I mean some things take longer then burritos ( for one this made no sense as we just got a burrito and tacos !!). I said well I can tell it was sitting there for awhile as the meat is a bit tough and Luke warm I did say though that despite this is tasted good. The manager very purposefully rolled her eyes at me and huffed and said well ok and walked away . No apology no can I get you anything else nothing ! I saw her saying something In passing to the waiter - who knows what she said !! Anyway nothing was done no apology from her or anything ! All I wanted was some understanding I mean I wasn t looking for a free meal just sorry we made a mistake ! The waiter did apologize as we left but it really wasn t his fault in our opinion. This review is for the rude manager and for her and the other manager who remained in the office ( since we were facing the office I might add that every time I took my kids to the bathroom and as I sat facing the office the two managers despite a busy restaurant sat in their office talking to each other and on the computer almost the entire 1 hour and 45 minutes we were there (one manager sat in there the entire time and the other one only to come out to rudely listen to me and then clean off a 1/3 of one table only to return to the office ) . So this review is for the management who should go see the that kitchen that you can look into had food backed up in the window as far as you can see !! Help your staff !!! I only give two stars for the waiter !! He did the best he could ! The management that was on day shift 3/13/19 should really step up their game !! Also as we were leaving my son tripped on the escalator my mom grabbed him and he was ok (my son has dev. disability so not the restaurants fault ) , one of the young waitresses ran over to make sure he was ok she said something to the manager and the manager looked over said ok and walked away !! I just really can t get over the management ! Again if it wasn t for the server I would give zero stars . We will not be back and we will not recommend.

Nice roof top view of the Smokey mountains! Service was alright not very excited about their jobs. Not any smiling faces much. We had drinks and chilled taking in the views. We chose not to eat here as the service was slow. At the bar with barley any customers so we figured it wasn t worth the wait. We pressed on and found better vegan options up the road. It wasn t a bad experience, just wasn t an exciting happening place. Low key!

Really cool Mexican restaurant on the second floor. Located right on the main drag Gatlinburg. Margaritas were delicious !

Gave it a star because of the location and view but the food was horrible. The chicken meat was so fatty with the skin still on. Prices were high for what they offered. The service was extremely slow and if you want certain beers you have to sit indoors. Wouldn't recommend at all. Money will be wasted.

Overpriced mediocre food. Overwhelmed and understaffed for the size of the establishment. I really wanted to like it, but i just didn't.

Went in for a snack and had great service and enjoyed the appetizer. If you are feeling the tastings, it's definitely a good spot to sober up a minute.

You get a lot of food ! Some dishes could feed 2 to 3 people! Make sure you go hungry!

Below average service, however, it did seem rather busy. Given the circumstances, I think it's ridiculous having to ask two separate waiters for silverware, specifically after we already received our food. The food was good and decent prices!

Great place for large groups. Food was very good. Loved everything!

So I was told it was a 30 min wait so I went to the bar. The dos Equis tasted like viniger. When I complained, the bartender asked if I had ever had it before. I had to prove it had turned and he made it right. Then after 50 min I checked on the table I checked with the hostess. She said they had sent a text message a while ago. I said I didn't get it, she made me show her. But the food was good and it was fun watching people ride the bull.

Family was split on this. I hated the carnitas taco. Too sweet. Absolutely the wrong flavor profile. Wife absolutely loved it though. She didn't care for the chicken taco. I thought that was significantly better than the carnitas. So clearly, your mileage may vary. Kid had chicken strips and you can't really screw that up. Salsa was excellent.

The portions were absolutely massive. Way too much food for lunch. I'd recommend a lunch menu with smaller portions and cheaper prices. Lunch for 4 topped $100 with tip.

Service gets 5 stars. Our server, I think it was Brandon, was on the spot.

Food was well prepared. Waitstaff was attentive. Manager was also very friendly and helpful. Came back at night for some dancing which was also very nice!

Very good food and great margaritas but the strawberry daiquiri was very gross (tasted very water down). It was busy but there was no reason we had to all for silverware, we never got napkins and our waiter was almost never at our table.

Food was okay. The spices used were not true Mexican spices so the flavors were not authentic.

It was abslutley the worst place I've ever been! The food was not worth eating and the service SUCKED

We've been eating here consistently for the past several years. They have some of the best vegetarian/vegan options in Gatlinburg and the service is outstanding. We do find it a bit more pricey than some of the other restaurants in the area but in our opinion the atmosphere and quality of food make up for it. The rooftop tiki bar adds a nice touch too.

First time, AWESOME !! Our bartender, Rosvan??, Really good, professional, cool, !!!! , But the margaritas excellent !! The food off the charts !! Didn't make it to the roof top, next time!!, Excellent choice !! Worth checking out !!
