Fantastic service! They are pet friendly, & had a dog behind the front desk. Rooms were clean & comfortable. The grouds are nice, well kept & have a lot of amenities on site for families.
The area is nice and the lodge is impressive. Took three families up for New Years. They have renovated the rooms and are nice. If you can't make coffee because it is stacked on the microwave you probably are not smart enough to breath on your own. The bathrooms are small as has been mentioned but that isn't where I spent most of my time so it doesn't bother me.
The staff was very helpful and worked with us to resolve a couple of small issues.
We will be back, thanks for letting our children run around the reception area New Years Eve guys!
This is a older motel, But it is really nice.its kinda far from Gatlinburg.
Tremont Lodge was a nice, woodsy hotel right off the main road. The rooms were nice and decorated like everything else in the pigeon forge/smokey mountain area (everything is wood with bear decor). Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom vanity was so small there was barely any room to sit your stuff. Water pressure in the hotel was great. They have an indoor pool, but unfortunately I did have time to check it out so I can't comment on it more than that it exists. This was a nice place to stay if your attending a wedding nearby or a short trip to the area but I would not recommend the cheaper rooms for a romantic getaway.
Spent here Thanksgiving and it was the best holiday me and my family had we were able to just step outside and go fishing it was my dream house
They took forever too give me my room, rude at the counter!
Wonderful dinner, great place for a wedding reception!
We are so so happy we found this place. We go to the smokies often and since the fire we need a new place to stay so we have been staying here and there. My daughter found this place on Google. We absolutely loved it. It is in a little country cove nestled in a nice little town. It has large trees around it and pretty flowering trees. It smelled so nice inside and out. The rooms were so very clean and comfortable. The lady at the desk was so polite and warm and nice. It is in a quiet little place and you don't have all the traffic noise and hustle and bustle. I cannot imagine anyone giving a bad review. It was a little out of the way but the drive was beautiful and well worth it. I would highly recommend it and we definitely have found our new place to stay. There are wonderful home country cooking places to eat at nearby and a subway that was great and more food places and attractions.
Gorgeous views, friendly staff, and beautiful facility! Wonderful place to have a business retreat!
The accommodations were nice, but the bedroom lacked a ceiling fan and was too warm while the attached living room was too cold. The grounds seemed nice. We.arroved late and only stayed one night but I would stay there again. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in, so big points there!
I can not wait to go back. The location was so peaceful. The indoor pool and hot tub was a great distraction for our kids in the evening. The room was clean and spacious, there was a cute teddy bear made out of towels for a special touch! 5 stars!
The Tremont Resort and Lodge is under new ownership, and they are fixing up the place and the room I stayed in was top notch. 4 pillows per bed! Being 20 minutes from Cades Cove is a bonus. I'll stay here again.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, management was friendly and attentive. It's an easy drive to Great Smoky Mountains without the insanity of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Clean, comfortable, well-priced &well-located. Who could ask for more?
fantastic resort to stay at. rooms are very nice. Staff cleans daily. right in the middle of the action.
Expedia screwed up our reservation for our stay at Tremont. They booked us a room but when we arrived there were no rooms available. Glenn at the front desk went above and beyond to put us in a room for the night. I will never use Expedia again, however the next time we come to Tennessee we would definitely stay at Tremont.
Very very dissatisfied been coming here for a while reservation for pool side room to find out that there was a problem with the room moved me to a outside room offered me free wood wow you would think they would take something off of the room but no I guess the plans on getting married here has just changed
Loved it! Spacious room, great outside private patio, indoor pool and hot tub were great (um, difficult to locate if not in your building lol), and breakfast was good! We stayed for the Park's Half Marathon and we were so glad we did!
The location was perfect for getting to the hot air balloon festival and also for going to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The resort has great amenities, multiple pools and clean grounds. The staff was very helpful. The suite we had was very spacious, well-appointed, and clean..
Super nice beds & clean rooms but literally nothing to do in this po-duck town so basically the whole town is a tourist trap with overpriced everything
The main reason I wanted to stay there was the pool and Jacuzzi. Both of which were closed. This was not told to us prior to paying. The resort is in a law suit because the owner passed away, and you can tell. The rooms had ceiling tiles discolored and falling down. No phones in the rooms. If you needed anything you had to go to the lobby.
Nice room, exactly what we needed for being in town for a concert, great staff and reasonable rates.
Rooms are very nice and the staff are awsome, small town personality and convenient to shops and restaurants
I would actually give a 3.5 instead of 4 stars if was an available option. We stayed in a family suite with 3 adults & 2 children. Considering its called a family suite, and consisted of 1 room with 2 queen beds, and a small room with a sofa bed, chest & t.v. it only had a small mini-fridge, small microwave, & coffee pot. Most family suites I've seen or read about had a small kitchenette, but as far as that, we worked it out, and just ate out for all meals as no complimentary breakfast or restraunt on-site. One of the biggest issues was one small A/C unit for that big of a space and was located in the corner of the living space on back side of room, therefore the bedroom stayed hot, and was hard to get much easy rest. The site said it had some recent updates, but that only included the furniture & T.V.'s. The rooms themselves were still very dated, and everywhere we went cobwebs were everywhere inside the room & on the grounds of the location. The grounds itself was nice enough, but the playground equipment definitely needs to be replaced, as much of it was rusting, some rough spots in the wood, and the outside layers of the swings were peeling off & looked very old. On the plus side with the whole place consisting of 10 acres, the pool areas were nice, gazebo area was nice except again, cobwebs everywhere, even on every space of all the balconies & in the railings. I think a bit of pest control maintenance would take care of some of that problem. I know & understand a large mountain area may have some cobwebs & insects in places, but especially in the lodging areas, that should be a problem that is taken care of at all times. Other than those issues, overall it was an ok place to stay, the views were nice, its not totally secluded but also not right in the middle of high traffic areas which suited us for down time without all the noise. Would stay there again if had to, but would hope some of the issues had been taken care of.
Nice hotel in a very quite town. Newly refurbished rooms. The beds are comfortable and the linens are soft and plush. Very clean room, no problems at all. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Enjoyed being able to have both the front and back doors open for the fresh fall air!
The rooms are very nice. Plenty of towels, shampoo, even dish washing liquid. Sofa bed could be a bit more comfortable. Plenty of space for 6 people. Nice pool, view and area. Beds are very comfortable. TV n bedroom and LR. A very nice place.
This place is hard for me to review because if I were to base my opinion on what was shown on their website I would be (and was at first) disappointed and underwhelmed. I should have known from the start since the price was so low, that it would just be a motel. Actually it was 8 buildings of motels owned by the same place.
If you have it in your head that it's a standard motel, and not get your hopes up by their beautiful website pictures, you will like it. It's good for the price and the area.. but misleading.
Also, as I said there were 8 buildings so maybe the luxury is in a different building that I didn't get to see.
The staff is Amazing and the place is well kept very BEAUTIFUL!!
This was our first stay here and it will be our last. The lady at the desk was the least welcoming person ever and at 10 minutes before the 3 PM check in, we were told the room key wouldn t work until exactly 3 PM because the room wasn t ready. We were very dissatisfied with the room we were given and were provided a free upgrade. The upgraded room was bigger but not nicer. The rooms looked nothing like the rooms shown on the booking page. No WiFi in room; we had to be outside to get any WiFi at all. No toilet paper in the room and the office was closed when we realized this. There were gnats or drain flies in the room. Happy our stay was only for two nights.
Buildings were old, doors did not have any extra locks. Grounds behind building 7 were littered with garbage. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable
Housekeeping does an outstanding job! VERY CLEAN ROOMS
Just a beautiful place peace and quite very friendly locals felt as if i was in a diffrent world everything you need or want to do is close by i highly recommend was just relaxing very humid lol.
Definitely not what I thought we was renting. Looked like a travel right inn
Staying in the Fox Den. Nice cabin.would stay here again.
Nice place to stay! Hotel is located In the heart of the Smokey Mountains, Cades Cove is in the close proximity! Rooms are nice and clean. Mattresses are so good to sleep on! Personal is very friendly! GREAT location to spend time with kids!
This is an older but well kept and comfortable place. The only draw back is that it is very spread out. Maybe if they had more gathering areas like firepits spread around it would seem more resort like.
We booked online and payed for our first night got here late because of traffic. They had everything ready for us when we got here. The room was very clean. It is a quiet location and we came when it was busy.but we didnt really hear any on the other people here. We loved staying here and will definitely have to come back. Very pleasant place to stay. The beds are comfortable the room is a great size. They even had a microwave mini fridge and a Keurig if you want to bring coffee for that(they provided some) it was a great place to stay.
Loved it. Clean and spacious room. If I could take the bed home with me, I would.
Was nice some years ago, a bit dated for the amount they charge. Still very clean.
The staff was friendly. Some things are a bit dated and could use updating. But the large cabin is beautiful.
The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The walking grounds were well groomed. You feel like you have stepped into the past when everything was a little quieter.
It's a great hotel. Has a playground and indoor pool for the children to enjoy. We had an overall great experience!!
Best place to do event such as wedding or family reunion. Had a great time with family here.
We love Tremont Lodge! Very clean, nice rooms. This is the only place we stay when we come to the Smoky's. Always a great experience!!!
Not as it is pictured online , someone was able to open our room door with their key jammed it so it wouldn't lock when we called front desk they sent someone to fix it didn't apologize or act concern for guest safety or time. Indoor heated pool and hot tub are a hike across depending on what part you stay in which is not mentioned . no vanity space , no iron or ironing board . room was clean , but the bed was lumpy, we paid 321. For the weekend it was a big let down and the people at the front desk were clueless and not very friendly . this was a waste of money in my book.
Great location for tourist.however one of our groups room door was kicked into and they did not seem to care she had small children scary..our room we had trouble getting out of the door ALL the time frustrating.but a beautiful place
I hated this place. I went online looking for a nice weekend getaway in the mountains. I got here and nothing is as it seems via pictures on line. Our room smelled like it had been closed up for quite sometime. There were dead bugs around the lamps on the night stand, bed was clean and comfortable (after old man inspected it), bathroom had stain in tub and on toilet seat that was removable when wiped, and no iron/ ironing board. There were spider webs in every corner of the room and dangling from the ceiling. We had one of the few rooms with a fireplace, but had a hard time getting starter wood for the fireplace. We got one slab of wood (6 logs), anymore had to be purchased for $6. Needless to say, fire lasted for a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours tops. Never felt the difference in the room. I tried turning on the heat and it started smoking and setting off the fire detector. So, I was cold my whole stay! The pictures are really really deceiving. The foundation on this resort is horribly kept. It looks as if renovations started, then funds ran out. A few of travelers were gathered outside our door and we were not the only ones disappointed. I will never visit this location again! Not even with the 12% off that was offered! Please do not even think about it! We made the best of our weekend...out side the room!
Bed bugs, fleas, and white bugs oh my. The room looked nothing like the picture. The staff was nice though and gave us our money back.
WiFi in building 6 was awful to nonexistent. But room was quiet and comfortable. Bed was great. Room was spacious. I like the porch area to hang out and enjoy fresh air. Great location to go out and photograph in the area. Decent value. Great meeting rooms for the conference I was at. WiFi worked fine in meeting rooms.
Poor cleaning as room was not serviced the entire time we stayed.
Nice and clean rooms, very comfy beds, and although there were some issues from a transformer blowing the staff was great and promt on putting us in another room. We definitely will be back.
We had a 2 queen pet friendly room at it was very clean, larger than we expected. The people are friendly. Would stay here again.
Great place, not your standard hotel. Movies around the fire on weekends. Great location for motorcyclists to get to great roads
I was not happy. I have bites all over my body from either bed bugs or spiders in the room. I have bites in areas that only a bug in the bed could get to. I have them on my butt and private parts. I know this because I usually wear shorts to sleep and that's the only time they could have gotten to those areas. I recommend staying at a different hotel that is a little more well know. My mom and dad both came along and they too have bites on their bodies. Especially if you have kids I wouldn't recommend staying there they will end up with bites all over them. Check your sheets if you do stay.
We only came up here because Tremont advertises 3 pools on their website, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor with a hot tub, well, only 1 pool open! Be sure and ask before you book with Tremont. During our stay here the parking lot was almost completely empty, so I know the pool closings weren't due to overcrowding. Just disappointing cause we booked for 6 days. No phone in room either
Comfotable place to stay if you enjoy cades cove. If you are interested more in pigeon forge or gatlinburg it is a drive to get there. But a scenic fun drive.
We have vaca'd there for years. Mostly the camp ground. That was a last minute, before school started trip.
It's like 14 miles from Gatlinburg which when you look at isn't much but when you actually try to drive there its 45 minutes. Room was nice but dated, they were renovating and it needed it. Just to fix some minor cosmetic issues with the room. No view at all. Pool was out of order Only thing that really irked me tho was no one running the front desk at night. I missed check in and they just left my key card and a map to my room in a mailbox out front. I was in the process of getting another hotel when I saw the small sign telling me to get the key from the mailbox
The staff was very friendly. The Room was clean the bed was comfortable. It is a good place to bring your Pet as they are pet friendly. There are lots of walking trails on the property. We were not able to use the pool or the hot tab because we did not have time. I would go back here. It was a good value and a nice trip ,the traffic was terrible but that is of no fault of this establishment.
Charming property located in a cute small town. Definitely not your average motel. The rooms were spotless and the grounds were well kept. The perfect place to stay away from all of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg for a great value.
Very very nice room...very clean and comfortable...pets are accepted here as well!!
Very comfortable beds. The view was beautiful and staff was very nice. Pet friendly without the high pet fees. We enjoyed our stay.
Lots of room. Beds were soft and clean. Will stay there again.
Wonderful resort in Townsend, TENN. Beautiful landscape and ample space for sitting out under the trees commiserating with friends. Sadly, they had a fire, lost a beautiful log venue center, I am certain it will be restored.
Great place.
My room was very spacious and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. I enjoyed the Keurig coffee pot.
Will return here my next trip to Townsend!
We had promised breakfast and on the morning we were told that place was out of breakfast supply.
My favorite mountain retreat. Dog friendly, great walking paths and picnic area. If you have a group, this is where you need to stay. Right in the middle of great places to visit. Dragons tail, cades cove, gatlinburg. Love this place.
I've stayed here several times and always enjoy the property. It's in Townsend TN and definitely the quiet side of the smokies. Rooms are nice and are reasonably priced. The only reason for the four and not five star rating was due to the fact we got no cell service, might be because of Verizon, and the WiFi was down the entire time we were there. I know, shouldn't we disconnect sometimes? But with three kids and storms in the area, we couldn't find places to eat, closing times, or weather. Despite all that, we will be back.
Great place 15 miles outside of Pigeon Forge, beautiful sitting with nice people
We had a great honeymoon there. Rooms are very nice.
Great place, wonderful town! Close to many major attractions!
