Go see ROCKY! I went in looking to trade in my 7 year old car for an upgrade!! He gave me top dollar for my trade and a fantastic price on my BRAND NEW car! I got approved for 0.0% and 0 down! He made sure that I got the truck that I not only wanted but that I didn t break the bank getting it with things I didn t need. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. Walked into San Angelo, Mitchell Toyota looking for a Sequoia to fulfill the needs of my growing family. I was in contact with the internet sales guy (Gary) for over a week and when we finally made it in, he started off very friendly, interested. He walked us around showing us a few sequoias. He then asked me what amount of monthly payment I was looking for, and I replied with $450-$500. Of course I'm not an idiot and realize that it might take some give on my part to make it work....But once i said that number he almost rolled his eyes in thinking " great another unreasonable customer that wants it all for nothing" He was obviously no longer interested in entertaining my ideal car payment. He immediately started steering us towards other vehicles, " have you heard of a 4 runner? " lets look at something more your price range"...Really? If I wanted a freaking 4 runner, I would have come in and asked for it...
He never even asked how much I was going to put down!!! I made one call to Kyle Corr in Abilene Toyota and within a few days He had not only the Sequoia we wanted and color, but in a brand new 2016!. He was great in communicating with me on wants, needs, and options. I never felt pressured to buy. He answered my call on a few occasions when he was on his off day!! He never ignored me. They didn't even have the sequoia, they had to drive it down from Dallas! It takes that little bit of extra effort to get my business. He did that and then some. And , my payment is 518$!! We went through USAA for financing and they tried to match it. At least they tried. They were very honest and friendly guys.
The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was at the end I had expressed that we wanted to get on the road in a hurry because we had an hour and half drive back to San Angelo, And i didn't want my wife and 5 month old twin girls to drive back in the dark. I mentioned that I wasn't interested in any warranties, and they still took me to the back room away from my wife and kids and tried the sales pitch again. I had already said no. What part don't they understand. I understand its part of the process but I already anticipated the " let me get so- and so so they can explain the options to you" So i already said no. It made our experience driving home terrible cause both girls were done sitting in car seats and strollers so it was a cry fest all the way back home in our new Sequoia. Other than that Kyle Corr was Awesome, great representation of the quality training they give their employees. I will always recommend him and Lithia Toyota to everyone I meet. Stay away from Mitchell in San Angelo, they don't care.

The sales person was kind when we came to look for a new car. He showed us the cars and was helpful. Then I decided to check the pricing at other dealerships. The salespeople at Lithia became very pushy and not nice. They would continue to text and call me even after I asked them to stop. They specifically went out and got the car that I wanted from another dealership in Texas so that I would have to get the car from them. Their business practices are highly suspect, if not unethical. Their prices are several THOUSAND dollars higher than other dealerships within a couple hour drive. I would not recommend buying a car from them, unless you have an extra few thousand dollars you don't mind wasting.

I did not have a good experience at Lithia Toyota of Abilene. I previously had a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, which was recently totaled in an accident. During my search for a new vehicle, I found that Lithia Toyota of Abilene had a used 2015 Toyota Tacoma (VIN 5TFLU4EN7FX136395) with 176,000 miles on it. Although the vehicle had a high mileage, the photos from the online listing made the vehicle appear to be in excellent shape. There were no signs of visible damage in the photos, and no mention of issues in the description. I was interested in this vehicle, and called the dealership for more information. I was then put in contact with a sales consultant named Gavin Bass. I asked Gavin a couple of questions regarding the condition of the vehicle, and afterwards decided that I was interested in the truck. I requested they hold the truck for a week so I could look at it (I live in DFW). I was informed that a $500.00 dollar deposit was required to hold it. I worked with the finance manager Andrew Elliot to pay the deposit. I met with Gavin and Andrew to look at the vehicle the following weekend. Upon arrival, it was evident that the condition of the vehicle was not as shown in the online listing. The headlight was cracked and patched with silicone adhesive. The mud flaps were torn and damaged. A dog had chewed up the front bumper around the fog lights in multiple locations. The fasteners which secured the front bumper were damaged, which resulted in it being loose. The rear drivers side tire had two plugs in it. The tires were also old and deteriorating. The windshield was cracked/chipped. I was surprised that not a single one of these issues were mentioned in the photos/description of the listing, or on the phone when I requested information about the vehicle. I asked Andrew multiple times if he there were any opportunities to negotiate repairs. The best answer he could give was "No, what did you expect on a high mileage vehicle". I continued to push for some point of negotiation, which actually irritated Andrew. Towards the end of the conversation, Andrew was on the verge of raising his voice. Between the deceptive photos and rude interactions with the staff, I decided that I would not buy this truck. I requested that my deposit be refunded, since the truck was not in the advertised condition. Andrew refused, and stated my deposit is non refundable. How can you claim that a deposit is non refundable when the product is not as advertised? As we left the lot Andrew shouted "You said you were going to buy this truck" as his parting words. This entire interaction took place in front of other customers and salesmen, which I find to be extremely unprofessional.

Why would I buy a truck when you withheld information which would influence my decision to buy? If you wanted me to buy the truck, then why would you be unwilling to negotiate any repairs? I honestly believe that Andrew had no intention of selling this vehicle. In his mind he had a free $500 deposit.

When I found the truck, it was listed at $17,993. The vehicle has since been relisted at $19,993. There is still no mention of any damage to the vehicle. The salesmen will reduce the price by $2,000 for the next person who is interested and make it seem like they are being compensated for the damages.

The listing for the vehicle states "At Lithia Toyota we are focused on providing customers with an honest and simpler buying and service experience". This statement could not be more incorrect. Lithia Toyota of Abilene demonstrated deceptive business practices, and the worst customer service experience I have ever seen. Any respectable business would do their best to be honest about their product, and treat their customers with respect. Lithia Toyota of Abilene did not exhibit either of these qualities.

This response is incorrect. The entire passenger side is not featured in the listing. The portions of the front which contain damage are also not shown. The lack of effort put into this response is confirms how poorly this dealership is run.

This sales experience was awesome. I do not like shopping for a car but I would definately advise my friends and family to shop with Lithia Toyota of Abilene. I would also greatly suggest to ask for Kyle Corr. He was not pushy and came across helpful and kind. He returned my calls quickly and always offered help for whatever questions I had. We just bought our dream car. He made the car buying experience wonderful!!!!!

My husband and I recently bought a vehicle from Lithia Toyota of Abilene. Our salesman, Kyle Corr, was a pleasure to work with. He never pressured us and was very honest during the process. We arrived late at the dealership but he and the other employees did not rush us. In fact, they all stayed late for us to complete the paperwork. Kyle was even kind enough to wash our new vehicle to get a little dust off of it while we finished up inside. We feel like we got a fair deal on our trade-in and a great price on our new vehicle! Good experience. Just bought a new 4x4 8' bed Tundra from Jody Rood at Lithia Toyota. Since I had the day off and I'm not an internet car shopper, I made a few stops around town to other dealerships to physically look at, smell, touch and feel the trucks that caught my attention keeping in mind my specific purpose and struck out for one reason or another. Then I made my way to Lithia to look at a used Chevrolet truck that caught my eye. I wasn't expecting to make a purchase this day, just wanted an Idea of what options there were out there to wrap my head around the the kind of money trucks cost nowadays. Jody saw us looking and introduced himself and from the beginning of the conversation was looking to help me find what I was looking weather I bought here or not. He tirelessly walked from vehicle to vehicle and allowed me and my wife to have a look without any judgement. What I come to like best about dealing with Jody is that we felt no pressure to make the deal. In the end his keen knowledge and insight of the Toyota truck product allowed me the time and information I needed to make an informed purchase which I am happy with knowing I have a brand new 2017 truck for only a few bucks more that a used one with many miles on it from a different manufacturer. After being a lifelong GM man with back problems, I can tell you that this truck doesn't ride like any other truck I have ever owned, it's actually a very smooth ride and my back appreciates it. Best dealership and people in Abilene!!!! If you need any help on a vehicle or questions answered or looking to buy a vehicle go here. Ask for Raul Rodriguez, he is absolutely amazing. I came in the first day and asked to test drive a vehicle and possibly buy and he answered every one of my questions. He knew exactly what he was talking about and was a joy to talk to. At the end of the first day he gave me an estimate for my payments but i ended up leaving to go test drive another vehicle. Im not going to go into to much details but needless to say the test drive didn't go well and the dealers at the other dealership (Star Dodge) were very rude, inconsiderate, didn't know what they were talking about, and when i decided to not go with them and tried walking away the management treated me like i was a nuisance. Overall just a terrible experience, but i decided to go back to Toyota to see if i could make a deal. The second day i called him and we made an appointment to met each other. When we first started talking i saw another vehicle that caught my eye. We got to talking an i asked to test drive it and he had no problems. He even ran the numbers to see what my payments would have been for 2 different vehicles. I ended up going with the vehicle i drove on the first day. He never once tried to push something onto me that i didn't want and he talked to me like a person (not a salesman) for the whole experience. If you want deal or just treated fairly come here.
