I waited 2.5 hours for a 1 hour air bag replacement. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. They never even pulled the car in until an hour after the appointment start time, and only then because I asked for an update. I cannot recommend their service department.
Bought many used cars from many dealerships over the years. Ive never been giving a paint pen and told to do my own paint chips on the vehicle I just paid good money for. Really turned me off. Most dealerships hire professionals to do this. Not here I guess. No more Lindsay purchases for me. I hate complaining but its deserved.
I had the worse experience at Lindsay Acura this week. It started on a good note with leasing specialist Sabrina assisting us and ended on a bad one. First Aaron, sales manager was very condescending asking me, Are you mad I didn t test drive your car. My answer no I just don t like how you are talking to me and we decide to leave. My husband calls back and Aaron apologized. I felt better and decided to give them another chance we decide on a car and are signing paperwork with finance lady Sue then my husband asks when is are first payment due she said the payment will come from the X amount of money we are putting down. We say wait we said we weren t putting any money down so she gets another associate and we have to hold off on our purchase. The associate Shannon tells me he will call me first thing in the morning I didn t hear from him until 8pm that evening telling me he has to wait to speak to other managers tomorrow. In the meantime earlier that day I call Sabrina, leasing specialist, and tell her I don t have my registration. She said she doesn t have it. Long story short not only did the deal not go through because they never told us about this X amount of money we were supposed to put down when from the beginning we said we didn t have any money to put down to them losing my original registration for my vehicle to me having to take their copy. Never Again.
Having previously owned Acura's I started the process knowing exactly what I wanted; what I was pleasantly surprised about was the great customer service I received from Shannon Daily and the Lindsay Acura team. Everything from price negotiation to completing the paperwork was easy and respected my time. Not to mention Shannon is extremely personable and refreshing to work with. They exceeded all of my expectations in the car buying process and will be my go to dealer in the future.

Normally have had good service here, you know better than your average Jiffy Lube or Walmart Lube center.. that's why we pay the big bucks at the dealership to have mechanically inclined technicians with sophisticated equipment to service and maintain your specific brand of car, however I just had my oil, filters and tranny fluid changed and replaced.. got the car home and it was overfilled on oil, so I call back in and then am told by Noah in the service department that I have to wait 3 days til Monday to have my car serviced again. Now that I am without a car for the whole weekend because of service that was improperly done to my car by Lindsay, and it being to the point I don't want to drive my car because service was improperly performed and the fluid levels are not accurate according to my original manual. I have to wait... I could understand if we was talking about a full blown engine tear down and rebuild but we're talking about oil level and if it's over full then one drain plug with a new crush washer lmaybe 10 minutes of labor total and I would've been a happy customer. Asked to speak to the service manager after being felt my intelligence has been insulted, he then comes over to tell me that yes the oil is above the full line but it is fine.. How does that make sense coming from the service manager?? How do you even feel comfortable telling me that? So I was without a vehicle for three days and incovienced there when I should've been first served because of improper service that I have already paid for to have good quality true service.. I wait my three days come in, then am further looked at as some dumb ignorant kid that doesn't know anything and told yes it's over full on oil but yes the car is fine... When you look in your owners manual it says to make sure the oil level is between the lower and upper full line on the dipstick. Then says if it's above or below refer to another page on oil levels. All I can say is wow! And how are you gonna tell me that it's saying over full but then say the car is fine. If that was the case Acura would have put in the manual "The lines are there for s**** and giggles just throw some oil in and as long as it shows up you're good to drive the car across country." When clearly says in the specific text in the steps to make sure oil level is between the lower and upper marks on dip stick. Inconvenience of not having a car and having to wait days to get my service adjusted because it was wrong, then I get there and am told it's over full but everything is fine... But then later says well we can pull it into the service bay and fix it.... But you just got done telling me that the service you provided was fine, so what is it that you planned on fixing??

I love my new car! I spent a little more money then I planned to, but it is well worth it. I got all the options that I wanted and the salesman (Mark Gibson) was more than helpful negotiating a price that I could afford. I tried another dealership before I came to Lindsay Acura, but they were not as accommodating. This is the third car that I have purchase at Lindsay. Friday November 14 my wife and I just took delivery of a 2015 Acura TLX. Before deciding on the Acura we looked at the Audi A3, Mercedes Benz CLA 250, Cadillac ATS. After our test drive we knew the Acura was the vehicle we wanted. Our salesman, Wayne Florence went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. During our test drive he showed us features on the vehicle we did not know existed and how all the features worked. In all of my years buying a new car this was the first for this level of service. The worst part of buying a new car is negotiating the price, this always makes buying a new vehicle painful. I am glad to say this was not the result here, they made me an offer to which I counter and the deal was done. The delivery and final paper work was handled by Rick McClurg, hats off to him. This process was quick and painless and out the door we went to a waiting Wayne to once again show us the features of the car and to program the key fobs and sync or I phones. This sure beats reading the manual, which I plan to do sometime. On the way home even though it was dark I could see people looking at the car. The expressions on their face said WOW I want that car. I wanted to roll down the window and scream Go to Lindsay Acura talk to Wayne and Rick, but driving down the interstate at 70 MPH and in the dark it would have been futile. My experience from start to finish was outstanding. I had previously leased with another well known dealer and made the switch to Acura after some intense research. We purchased our first Acura MDX from Lindsay Acura in 2010. We loved the car and the service from Lindsay Acura, so when we were ready for another car, we first checked with them. I knew I wanted another Acura MDX. We looked on the web and saw that Lindsay Acura had the exact car in the color I wanted, so went to look. Eric McKee, Sales Specialist, showed us the car, demonstrated features, let us drive it, and negotiated a deal. Eric was courteous, knowledgeable about the car, and made a arrangements for us to drive the car home that day. We were completed satisfied with our purchase of a 2014 Acura MDX.
We were planning to purchase a new vehicle from Lindsay Acura this past Saturday 9/21/19 and was looking at a few vehicles but had primarily focused on an loaded RDX with the Advanced package. It was suggested that we take a ride in an MDX Hybrid that they had onsite which was also pretty loaded but quite a bit higher on price than the one we were looking at. We were told by our sales person (Meaghan) that there was a lot of room to work with on that vehicle and we should consider it. We took it for a test drive and loved the vehicle!
When we sat down and asked a simple question, what is the best price you can offer on the MDX Hybrid and how much money down to we need in addition to our trade in to get to a $700 or under payment for 5 years max. The first offer they came back with had us putting down $28,000+ total down, and financing $33,000 @ almost $700 a month for 5 years.
The payments would equal over $41,000. Coupled with the the down payment this puts a $60,000 vehicle (that they had a lot of WIGGLE on) at $69,000+. We asked what happen to the wiggle room and Meaghan explained it was all her fault and brought out a manager to smooth things over and try to close the deal. The manager was polite enough and only after pushing back heavily was he willing to move on their vehicle price at all. We asked what their financing interest rates were for an 800+ credit score they refused to tell us even going as far as telling us only financing people are allowed to disclose interest rates! The whole negotiation took almost two hours to get through. After their first attempt to make the sale with less than honest dealings and charging a ridiculous interest rate on a perfect credit score, we were done.
We visited Lexus of Easton where they were very forward with pricing, interest rates and all terms even giving us copies of everything to take with us. That all took 20 minutes! We also visited a few other dealerships and all were up front with what financing and interest rates they were offering.
Lindsay Acura would not allow us to take a copy of their offers or even a picture of them since it was apparently a NATIONAL secret! Needless to say, we love the Acura line of cars and SUV's but will not be purchasing one from this dealership due to the way they treated us. Upon leaving we still had no clue what the potential interests rates would be on purchasing or leasing from them. This is apparently proprietary information for only this dealership. No other dealership was so secret about their financing options!
Very patient & willing to help, no matter what your personal circumstance may be. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Mark Gibson, who is very reliable & patient. The entire staff is kind & treated my family like we were apart of theirs.
BUYER BEWARE! I bought a certified 2015 Acura ILX from these guys in August of 2018. They use a system called Auto Check, and not Carfax to check for service records, accidents, etc. They sold it to me as a certified, accident-free vehicle. I'm in the process of selling it, and bought a Carfax report to be able to show a buyer it was accident-free, but lo and behold, the vehicle had been in a front end collision where the airbag deployed. Now my vehicle is worth less than it should be, and I feel totally ripped off. Just goes to show you how the people in this business are not to be trusted. I would never do business with them again, and I would encourage anyone who is foolish enough to buy a used car from them insist that they pay for and provide a complete Carfax report before signing on the dotted line.

I am in complete shock. I am a single mom, with a budget that I am very loyal to. I have not had a car payment in 4 years, and was anxious about a car purchase. I had an SUV that I loved but an issue came up that forced me to pay over $1200 in repairs or get another car. My car salesman was Eric. I said "I wanted a car with space for the kids tennis racquets, track stuff, and I can't pay more than $200-230 with taxes." I just knew he would have nothing to show me..WRONG, or he would show me stuff out of my range...Wrong again. This precious man took me to 3-4 cars, let me ask questions, gently reminded me of my budget number when I went to other cars, and I was out of there in 3 hours with an adorable SATURN! I was IN LOVE with the car, the space was perfect, and it was seamless. I am still a little shocked. I now understand the Lindsay brand. They are a great group of people with integrity and pure motives. If they sold bikes or skateboards, I'd go back tomorrow! #Lindsay4Life

Lost one star for the high price they tried to charge me on the warranty, I'm giving that star back after going back to the dealer to renegotiate. Once I got firm with my demand and refused their attempt to "meet me half way" on the price, my overall experience buying a 2018 TLX there recently was good enough that I'd choose them again next time.
Just be prepared before you go in, with a quoted price you're happy with, and you'll walk out with the deal you want and the new car key in your hand.
Also I'm very pleased with my new car after having a few days getting to know it. The mid size Acura sedans don't really stand out as "exceptional" in any one area, and the performance can't equal some of the pricier German models, but what you get is a very solid car all-around, five star safety, and less maintenance headaches than a VW/Audi. And, with a "meh" level of consumer enthusiasm for Acura recently, you can get a good deal for a car that will keep you happy for years to come.
Once they had our money, any semblance of customer service disappeared. God forbid you ever have any type of problem after the sale. They won't even call you back. They are horribly unprofessional.
The dealership and its' staff were easy to do business with and made our purchase a very smooth and pleasant experience. Larry was a big help in obtaining a vehicle that matched out needs and walked us through the process step by step. This is our 3rd vehicle from this dealership and will not be the last I'm sure.

First off, I went in to the lot 3 hours before closing and was looking at a car. Not a single salesman came out and greeted me or even looked in my direction. I am 21 years old and this could be part of this. But they still could have had the courtesy to speak to a customer.
Second, I talked to a salesman who completely talked down to me through the whole experience. When trying to trade my old car in, they wanted to give me 1/3 of the value of it and tried to tell me it wasn't worth that.
Overall, I think it would be best if they just closed their doors for good.

While I am pleased with the vehicle, I was surprised to find when I blew a tire a few weeks after purchase that there was no spare. I had to have the car towed to a tire dealer. I own that I missed this detail but I feel as if it should be disclosed upon purchase. When I contacted Lindsay, the salesman offered me one for $368.80. Um. no.

I had a great experience at Lindsay Acura purchasing my 2012 CPO Acura TSX. My salesman, Tyler Stokes, was courteous, knowledgeable, and listened to my expectations and followed through. I don't enjoy the whole "back and forth" negotiating portion of traditional car buying. I explained to Tyler that I was mainly interesting in getting the best price for my trade. Instead of coming back to the table with an insulting first offer as most other lots do, he came back with a fair price the first time. I will return to Lindsay Acura in the future.

My son selected an automobile from Lindsay Acura for me. While I am pleased with the car. 5 months after having the car one of the tire sensors went out instead of the Lindsay Acura replacing it they wanted to charge me $100.00 to replace the sensor with the extended warranty the finance guy said I needed or $80.00 if I repaired it myself. Since I only had the car 5 months when the sensor fell off I declined. After months of haggling Lindsay Acura said they would split the cost for the sensor I inquired how much the sensor repair would be I was told $40.00. I took my car in for an oil change, filter change $24.99 with the card Lindsay Acura gives to you . My total bill was $103.23 does that seem like half of the tire sensor or just about the entire cost. It's the principal of the thing and integrity.

I am not one who is eager to write a review whether positive or negative. But today Lindsey Acura has failed in providing customer service greatly.
I intially contacted Lindsey because on my way back from vacation my air conditioner went out. I have an extended warranty purchased through Germain Mercedes/ Cadillac of Easton , which I have a $100 deductible. I contacted Lindsey to schedule an appointment, because Germain only works on Cadillacs or Mercades. I contact Lindsey to make the appointment, and I asked the lady the cost, and she stated it was $0 because the warranty.
I arrive at my appointment right after work 530pm. The service coordinator advises me that in order for them to look at my car they must do a diagnosis of $115. I wasn't to thrilled,(1) because I ASKED!! Twice and was still given wrong information.
After they figured out what was causing the air conditioner not to work, the service coordinator advised me that they had to order the part, and It wouldnt come in for about a week. So scheduled the repair a week out.
The part came in within three days so l contacted Lindsey to reschedule for the next day to repair. I attempted to be proactive so I asked the coordinator the total cost (Trying to avoid any surprises)....she said she wasn't sure that I would have to speak with a specific coordinator and he isn't in. But Offered to will relay a message for him to call me back.
No one call me back! I contacted Lindsey the day before the appointment to add in a oil change and to confirm the cost. The service coordinator stated he was pretty sure I only had to pay for the oil change. He said I see you didn't have a great experience at Lindsey last time so we were going to call you anyway, he said I'll have the GM call you directly to discuss the cost and your experience. I said okay deal. No one calls me( 2nd time).
I arrive to my appointment at 545pm, the manager supposedly checked me in. None of my information was keyed And he didn't know how much I had to pay so he says politely take a seat and Ill provide you with the cost. About 20 min later he sends some to tell me it's $145. Instead of getting upset because of the inconsistencies, I said okay. At this point I just want the car fixed. About two hours go by and one of the service coordinator says there almost done. Another hr goes by and I ask the " manager" how much longer, he says let me check. 30 minutes goes by and doesn't return and at this point im absolutely livid. I ask the service coordinator what is taking so long, he says " no one informed me that it was a four hour + repair"? NO SIR!!! I was informed that this was about an hr. The entire time I see others ride up in vehicles that says " courtesy of Lindsey Acura "..... Now as a customer I was treated very poorly! I wasn't provided with any type of alternatives for a lengthy repair, no suggestions, ma'am would you like to drop off, pick up? NOTHING!!!! I don't know if it's because I'm African American , a woman, or even my age or all three.
Whether you've had a long day or not, we all have and it's no excuse to drop the ball on the minority. Overall I will never come back here because I feel discriminated against as a young female minority.
They had a great deal on a used Lexus so I went to check it out. I called ahead and Jason had it ready for me when I showed up. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I feel the best salesmen are motivated to make a sale (you don't want an indifferent salesman), but don't come off as pushy. He was just that. Good guy, good to talk to.
They gave me a better deal than I was expecting on my trade, far better than another dealer I contacted. Financing was also low pressure. They'll offer the usual things, but don't try to force them on you. Overall, I would highly recommend them.
In the fall of 2014 I bought an RDX from Shannon, and I enjoyed the actual experience which has never happened to me when buying a car. I decided pretty quickly that I should have gone with the MDX due to the size. I emailed Shannon and told him what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay. I knew it would be tough considering I had only had my RDX for a little over a year, but Shannon stuck with me! The best part was that Shannon had everything ready for me, I walked in signed a few papers and left in under an hour with my new MDX. Everyone at Lindsey is great, but Shannon went above and beyond twice for me!!
I worked with Tabitha Browning in the purchase of my 2013 Acura ILX and I could not have asked for a better customer experience! She was not only professional and polite, she went over and beyond to assist me and made my purchasing process easy and painless. She helped me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to buy that day and I could not be more thankful! Tabitha quickly assessed my needs and provided me with exactly what I wanted and needed. I absolutely ADORE my new vehicle. It's stylish, safe and reliable. Only complaint I have is the wait time. Had a 2:30 appointment for oil change . Finished at 4:10

This is my second review for this location the first review was edited a few minutes ago Steve one of the original owner's son took our lease and filed it away and never honored me or our company to gain access to Cinema City at Market Place Movie Tavern LLC doing business as Marketplace of the Americas. Com owned by Bryce small Innovative Investments the internet Department thought they were really cute and kept moving my pins around that I created for the previous owner that sold them the building for $950,000 if I was you I would avoid this place like the plague the ownership is nothing like it used to be unfortunately criticizing a friend of the family by marriage is not easy to do on the internet but they deserve 0 business.

We recently purchased a 'new to us!' car from Lindsay Acura. Talk about 'not pushy'! I went in May 2015 looking to trade-in my husbands overused Optima for an SUV. We went through the process of an appraisal for the Optima then took a break at 'actively' looking. I researched many vehicles, visited a few lots. But I continually checked up on the Lindsay Honda/Acura websites to see if 'the' car was there. Finally in August I saw 'the' car for me and our one-income household!!
Charlie made the process very flexible and low-key for our family and the financing department was able to get us an interest rate lower than our own bank!

Tabitha Browning answered the phone one Sat. morning as I was on my way to Columbus. Told her what I was looking for so she was prepared when I got there two hours later. She showed me two cars; had exactly what I wanted. Test drove both, decided on one; was out of there within two hours. No big sales pitch as I'd done my homework and knew what we wanted. Agreed on price, she made it all happen quite quickly, very satisfied with the staff, Lindsay Acura and Tabitha. Great group to deal with when shopping for a vehicle in the future.

Since 2000, I have purchased three (3) vehicles from Lindsay Acura; and, all maintenance and services for my vehicles have been performed by Lindsay.
I have come to expect the best of services from Lindsay, after 14 years my expectations continue to be realized. My most recent experience at Lindsay was a new vehicle (MDX) purchase - facilitated and enhanced by Sales Rep Dan Bornstein. The purchase of big ticket items causes some anxiety; however, Dan's approach helped make the process smooth and pleasant. Dan and others (some I never met, but were in a "back room") successfully worked to get the numbers I needed to make the purchase. The MDX was nicely prepped, then Dan spent considerable time tutoring me about the (new) technology package.

Lindsay Acura promised me we can match any other dealer's price. They told me on the phone come down and bring proof in righting and we will gave you same price. I drove all way from marysville . After the test drive they said sorry we can't mach the price.
We had a great experience with our Salesman Gary Hilton at Lindsay Acura. Mr. Hilton was very knowledgeable and courteous. We weren't even going to buy a car. But Gary being so knowledgeable of the products we couldn't leave without a vehicle. We bought the MDX.
Charlie Davis gave us excellent customer service. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend him to anyone.
I just bought a car from these people a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with the sales rep and the car, but the woman I did paperwork was very rude to my boyfriend, my mom and me. She didn't explain paperwork to me, didn't ask me if this was my first time buying a car, and didn't ask Other basic questions to help the process a long. My boyfriend was just trying to reasonably voice a concern to her and she started raising her voice at him and being terribly rude. If I hadn't loved the car so much I would have walked out. I've tried getting ahold of a manager on the phone to voice a complaint and it's been two days since I left a voice mail and no one has bothered to call me back. I will never shop at Lindsay ever again if this is how customer service is going to be.
We had been searching the internet for several months looking for a reasonably priced, dependable, used car for our 16 year old daughter.
We found the car we purchased online at Lindsay Acura. Tabitha Browning answered all our questions quickly, and thoroughly. Based on her answers we felt it was worth the nearly 3 hour drive.
We were impressed with the manner in which Tabitha greeted us once we arrived. She appeared warm and genuine. She gave us the keys to the car and encouraged us to get familiar with the car.
After a long test drive we finalized the deal with Tabitha. My wife, and I both thought we would return when looking to replace her Honda minivan because we were so impressed with our experience so far.
We typically keep financing separate from the deal, and work with lending institutions of our choice directly. Because our visit was on a Saturday afternoon we opted to use the dealership for financing. That is where our experience quickly changed.
We met with a gentleman who offered us a higher interest rate than we expected. During our discussions, pointing out our extremely high FICO score, he slowly whittled down the rate by about 3/4%. HELLO?? Why did you start out so much higher and tout that as the best rate?
The problems persisted. He didn't ask if we wanted an extended warranty, he just added it onto the financing. We repeatedly told him we were not interested..... He responded by insinuating we don't care about our daughter and possible expenses later. Instead of removing the warranty as we requested multiple times he just kept discounting the price. It started at nearly $3,000, and was down to nearly $1,300. That is when we were close to leaving without purchasing the car. We were left not trusting a thing this man was telling us. I had the opinion of sleazy car dealers that I have dealt with in the past, and avoid whenever possible.
That is when I went back to our salesperson. Tabitha helped us find someone else who could finish the financing. I warned her we were about to leave. The second finance specialist provided us with a rate even lower than what the first gentleman offered after long negotiations. She offered us the opportunity to consider other insurances/services, but did not try force us into other expenses we didn't feel necessary.
Overall, we were very happy with the dealership. We felt we got a good deal for our daughter's first car. Everyone, except one, we dealt with were nothing but polite and courteous. We will definitely consider visiting this dealership to see Tabitha Browning when in the market for a new, or used, car. She was nothing but polite and professional.
We will, however, probably keep the negotiations and finance separate to avoid the frustration experienced when finalizing the deal.
I worked with a business consultant and salesperson Eric McKee and thought the experience was okay. The typical cat and mouse game that goes on when you purchase a vehicle. I ended up purchasing a used 2003 Acura TL with almost 200,000 miles. I thought Eric was professional and easy to work with in securing a deal that worked for both parties. The car was clean and filled with half a tank of gas upon my pick-up and completion of the sale.
After reading the other reviews, I am concerned about the service condition of my vehicle as the 150 point inspection was brought up several times to my inquiries into the service work done on this vehicle. Based on other reviews, I will not be taking this car to Lindsey for servicing.
