Lightfoot Mechanical Review

Doug came out today to handle our electrical issue. He was extremely polite, professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend Lightfoot mechanical and Doug for any electrical needs!

They replaced my water heaters with an instant water heater system. Ronnie Miller didn an outstanding job. Lightfoot mechanical is an excellent company to work with. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.

David was great! Very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Was able to answer all of our questions and was able to get everything done quickly. Thanks David!!

Had Lightfoot Mechanical replace an old electric water heater (it was more than 15 years old) and they did a great job. Very professional and were very pleasant to work with. Price was reasonable too.

Also had them unclog a drain line that was pretty badly plugged with soap grease. The service man Tim handled it and provided a recommendation for keeping the lines clean and clear of this nasty stuff. All for a good price, too. Glad we had them come over!

Definitely recommend them.

Had a cheap builders grade shower valve that was not working correctly. After Dylan looked at the assembly he explained that they would have trouble finding the correct cartridge for the valve. (I knew that because I had already been looking for one for a couple of weeks) Dylan explained the best solution would be to replace the assembly with a Delta. I could not have agreed more. A few days later Dylan came back and installed the new valve. Works awesome! Now with that being said I did get a few quotes from other companies and they were the most expensive but I believe you get what you pay for. They have been awesome from the first phone call, during the repair and have followed up with me even after the repair. I don't mind paying a little more for a company that is trust worthy and has great customer support and service before and after the sale.

Everything you get from Lightfoot Mechanical is top notch!! Not going to be the cheapest, but you want the best when it comes to your home's safety and function.

It was a pleasure to do business with the Dylan. He seemed to be a very sweet person. He was here whenever he said he would be and kept me informed as to what he was doing. How ever, he did forget to turn the water back on when he finished. But that was an easy enough fix for me.

I am sitting here in my home after a full HVAC upgrade. Whisper quiet. The job was completely professional from the second the salesman walked in the door 4 weeks ago to the last piece of clean up was complete and the crew left my driveway. If you have ever been given the run-around, the bait and switch, endless delays, beaten up with fine print, price gouged, and a plethora of other common tactics like i have experienced many times in years of dealing with a slew of contractors for a business in the DFW area, you will find this company quite refreshing. They can do pretty much whatever you need to have done, The correct way, at a fair price. We had an emergency a couple months ago where our AC was leaking water everywhere. Sam came out & fixed it. He recommended us getting the coils acid washed because they were clogged. The Lightfoot team, from engineering/sales team to the office and installation team were all very professional and delivered all that was promised.

A special thanks to David, Cody and the install team, Jarrod and Greg. The AC is working great and they did a great job of installing, training and cleanup. Plus they worked hard at making sure the solution helped cool upstairs without freezing us out downstairs.

Robert showed up on time and went quickly to work. He separated two bathrooms' outlets which had been a problem when I had company! He installed a new GFCI outlet in master bathroom. He also installed a ground rod for my outdoor meter. Very pleased.

These guys may not even need another good review, but I was very impressed with Lance, who came out to my new home and helped me to understand my options, even if I didn't use their services. The last answering the phone was knowledgeable and curteous as well.

David was out to assist us with different options for a new air conditioner and was very helpful. He took the time to answer all of our many questions - even after he left! Highly recommend.

LIghtfoot Mechanical did a good job of diagnosing and repairing my water leak. The gals in the office were wonderful in answering questions. I greatly appreciated the care taken by the excavation team to protect my antique roses and garden. Junior's repair work appears to be effective; he was courteous. The only negative was the disconnect in communication between the office staff, workers and me concerning the time of the repair.

Punctual, professional, and affordable. Needed a main sewer line cleaned out and it was done thoroughly. Technician even went back in with the camera to make sure the clog was gone. Definitely recommend Lightfoot mechanical and will use them again.

Lightfoot came out and fixed a problem with my ac. The service was quick and the men who came out were extremely professional. I had used another company for the same problem and they didn t fix it but Lightfoot found the problem and resolved it. I would recommend Lightfoot to anyone who asks. You might pay $30 more for a service call but it s worth it.

Michael showed up wearing face mask and had shoe covering also. He had to replace the water cutoff for the refrigerator and also one for the bathroom toilet. He stated he had to replace the old type valves with the new style that just flipped up and down instead of having to turn to shut off. That was the problem I was having, could not turn valve to shut off water. Michael did an outstanding job and left nothing to clean up. I would highly recommend Lightfoot for any plumbing needs. They have my business from now on. Just called yesterday and they showed the next day.

Great experience all around. Robert knew his stuff, super friendly and went above and beyond by staying after he was finished to wait on Oncor to make sure we didn t have any problems. Oncor showed up about 2 hours later than expected. Taylor was friendly and professional and Belinda was great too! Each of them made us feel like a priority. Happy with Robert and Taylor s work and feel confident that our breaker box isn t a fire hazard anymore. Great team!

Sam was absolutely wonderful. My AC went out in the late afternoon and we had gotten one price that was outrageous. The man wanted to replace our whole system for 13k. We opted for a 2nd opinion and contacted Lightfoot Mechanical. They sent an awesome tech name Sam. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very humble. I got a text message of his arrival with enough lead time to be home on time. As soon as I explained the situation he immediately found the problem and corrected it within minutes. The charges were a bit higher than what Inwas expecting.

Rod came first thing Sunday morning and checked out our units (Dakin) but could not find out why it froze up. I still gave Rod 5 stars because of his professional attitude and friendly personality. I replaced our 20 year old Lenox with 2 new Dakin 2 years ago so we would not have any problems. We have had a problem with both units in this 2 year time frame, both service calls were under the service contract but I would have to give the Dakin product a 2 or 2 1/2

This guy had what I thought was an overwhelming task to unclog a drain pipe that had 10 years of plaster accumulation. It was a battle, but he did it and the lab part of our office is back to draining smooooohtly. Awesome and courteous service. Highly recommend. By the way, I thought Superman was supposed to wear a cape?

The so called plumber you sent to my house seamed to be untrained, came with nothing but a snake thing! He was able to unclog my bathroom sink but not the bathtub! He was here less than an hour & charged me $325.00! I guess this how you pay for those fancy trucks by ripping off customers, I will never call your company ever again!
I was very disappointed the bathtub was still clogged! My brother came over a couple days later, I told him about the tub, he went to work on it, he had the drain taken apart & the clog open in about 25 min! Tub is now draining fine! Your man said we would have to dig under the house & reroute the pipes! What an idiot!
