Really good experience, awesome spa, lots of thing...
Really good experience, awesome spa, lots of things to do there. Kalla treatment was amazing!

Incredible spa experience... plan to stay at least 6 hours and take advantage of all the available areas, pools, saunas, etc.
Have always had a great experience here. My wife and I come here about twice a year. We even took our employees here for our summer staff party a couple of years back. It can be busy, but there is always a quiet corner somewhere.
Long waiting time (30 minutes +) to get access to the site even though we had a reserved timeslot. The place was overcrowded.
I love this place! Excellent for relaxing and eating well!
Love going there to relaxe and refuel. Feels like you are on vacation for the day. Very friendly staff, great location and nice variety of saunas, spas, vapor baths and thermal pools. Also very nice to have the different areas: whisper, silence and social. And it keeps on extending and renewing with years.
WOW ... Just Awesome ! Budget at least 5 hours ... cause you are going to want to stay!
Love this relaxing hidden gem! A must to everyone for an unique experience!
Very great to go. Many spot to relax with music or not.
Pleasantly surprised. Spent a whole afternoon exploring the various areas, and the food was beyond what I expected. Recommended.
Worst experience. Lines worse than Disneyland. Understaffed.
Sprawling Nordic spa that's relaxing any time of year. Variety of saunas, hot tubs and cold dips, and new salt water float and salt scrub stations. Good food options for lunch or light supper. Gets pretty crowded on holidays and weekends. Try going weekday evenings or during weekdays. It's open late
Exceeded my expectations, panorama was a nice touch.
great spa, amazing place, really good value. definitely coming back! Burger at the main restaurant also amazing
Was a great experience. Very picturesque at night especially
Beautiful spot, but its expensive for hanging out in hot tubs and saunas, guess I'm not much of a Spa guy
Highly recommend the lounge night events they do once per month. Lots of different hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms. Not too crowded and very beautiful at night.
The property is European in nature. The staff handles the reception of clients efficiently. I was glad to have our treatments early and enjoy the rest of what Spa Nordik had to offer afterwards. There are many pools, saunas and quiet rooms to try and are included in your stay. There are restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Many areas where being quiet and maintaining silence to complete your relaxation. It does get busy through the day.
Quite the awesome relaxing day after hard week of work
Awesome first time experience. A little too pricey though. I would definitely come again.
Very clean. The staff is courteous and excellent services. The food is delicious. The decor is majestic. I recommend this place to everyone!
Large and magnificent spa to visit with family, friends or even lovers
Wonderful scenery, delicious food. The bath experience is wonderful. Recommend bringing your own towel and bathrobe depending on the experience you are having; the towel they supply gets very damp quick.
Every time I go I am impressed by the level of service here. Show up and leave the rest to them, they know what they are doing. The spa services, indoor and outdoor ambiance as well as a great selection of snacks, meals, beer and wine at reasonable prices are indicative of the quality sales and standards offered here
Stupendous spa. I had the fortune of visiting one evening as snow gently fell. A hot steaming spa amongst the trees and rocks with snow drifting out of the night sky.
A fantastical experience that is common, no doubt, for Canadians; but this tourist had a top 10 bucket list life experience. Absolutely perfect.
It s was better then I expected although very very busy and we went on a Thursday. And the parking situation was hell. Some people decided to park in the driveway on both sides and we ended up being blocked. The employees had to come take down the plate numbers and call the owners of the vehicles. They should definitely have an employee taking care of the parking lot.
Fantastic Spa experience. Little did I know what to expect. Several types of sauna including Finnish and Russian sauna, floating saltwater pool, big warm pool next to a bar and wood fired pizza at premises. Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming.
Just fair enough I would say, an emphasis on cleaning. Excellent and courteous service.
A favorite spot of mine to relax for a day. The spa itself is very spread out but at the same time doesn't take long to get anywhere... It never seems overcrowded which is excellent. I enjoy the sauna rituals and couples massage!
This spa has structures to host spa traditions from all over the world. Their most popular event is a German dry sauna towel dance called aufgus. Its on YouTube , if you want a to see it. There is also great food and lots of pools to soak in and surfaces to nap on.
Great place for a day of relaxation. My only comment is on the techno-disco-musak playing in the main areas. Must be a Quebec thing.
Loved everything. Unfortunately for us they were under construction. A little noise but still worth the experience
My husband and I had a wonderful time. We arrived at 6pm, and although it was busy we never felt crowded. We stayed until 10:30pm - but next time we will definitely try to come earlier!
Best spot to go and live your best life for the day. We are SO lucky to have this spot so close to us!!!
Shared the NYE experience with my friend this year and I was extremely impressed. Nordik does a great job hosting events. No long waits, comfortable privacy, everything was amazing!
I had quite an unpleasant experience here and I want to express what started my bad experience was rectified by a wonderful lady named Karine. I had arrived at 10 and had to leave at 2 to pick up my daughter from school. So I know already that 4 hours is a short amount of time but was aware of this. I had called the day before to book a massage and they told me noon. I arrived and they told me 1230, that's okay people make errors all the time. I went to my massage and turned out I was sent in the wrong direction by my masseuse. I waited and at 1240 everyone had been picked up but me. I went back in and he realized that I was his 12 o'clock appointment and took me into the room as said well we will give you a massage for the time you have left. I asked is that 20 mins or 50. I was okay with 50 but he said 20. I asked to speak with the manager and that's when I spoke to marine who as an angel. Amazing customer service skills. She refunded my massage in a gift card to ensure I would use it again instead of cash. I went to go find my husband and at this point there was a thunderstorm and hailing. I had a lot of staff helping me look for him and no luck. So I changed into my reg clothes as we were approaching 2 o'clock to pick up my daughter and the storm wasn't easing up. I went back to the biergarden as it as our meeting point and he wasn't there. I was sad and crying cause as a mother of a six year old and just a patron of life I was reaaaallly excited for this massage and disappointed. I asked for a beer and within the 3 hours I had been there 3 times. I was told they couldn't serve me cause I wasn't in a bathing suit. Even though I had just got a beer before and visibly upset that I couldn't find my husband. I thought it was rude and a very disturbing policy. I mean how many people go into nordik fully dressed into the back of the pools at the biergarden crying their eyes out and ask for a beer. I was very offended and disturbed by this.
Yes the massage was rectified, 75% of my trip was a 4 star. But on the way out of not finding my husband and I had been there and they were helping me find him. They would not serve me unless I was in a bathing suit. As a visibly distraught customer whom they were helping, I thought I would receive a little bit more compassion. Instead it was a big slap in the face.
What an amazing escape from the world today! Different temperature pools, different scented saunas, solo or couples massage. NO CELL phones allowed! You have to experience this type of serenity for yourself.
I was really excited to try this spa, but was disappointed in many ways. Upon checking in to pay, I was asked if I intended to eat and drink and I replied yes. I was automatically charged $150 (which I refused to pay). It was not explained that the restaurants don't accept cash or credit card, but only spa credit. They also neglected to share with me that any unused amounts would be refunded. I later learned that if I put cash down for spa credit I could pay any amount but if using a credit card it was a minimum of $150. As for the actual experience, I was surprised by how confusing the layout is. There are so many small saunas and pools (all with funky IKEAish names) it's information-overload trying to figure it all out. None of the hot tubs are actually hot. The atmosphere is definitely more of a resort feel than a spa feel. There were so many people and it was noisy! They played music in all the saunas to drown out the chatter from outside. That was annoying. I would've preferred a quiet environment. There were 2 warm tubs that were clearly dirty from too many bodies...the water was brownish-yellow with debris floating in it. Anyway, the setting is beautiful and that's about it. If you want a true Scandinavian spa experience try the Scandinave Spa.
Only spa I've been to, so can't really compare to other places. It is nice and relaxing. The food is good but a bit pricey and it can be difficult to find a spot to sit for lunch. I understand why they don't allow pictures but I wish there was an area where they were allowed. It's open year-round but I personally find it too cold in the winter, even on milder days.
Visit this place everytime I travel to Ottawa. Top-notch!
Very relaxing great staff. Massage is well worth it
I visited this place for the third time and I am very satisfied.
Went on a holiday friday, drove up from Toronto to spend the weekend in Ottawa. It was rainy and we got there around 6pm. No wait and there wasn't too many people. Near the end of our stay we had saunas and pools all to ourselves which fabulous.
Food was good but expensive.
We did the Tonic massage and loved it. Would go back just for Eri!
Had a blast, Shayne provided great customer service, will be back!!!
A serene and relaxing day, the spa is immaculate and the staff were so discrete and polite. Stay for the spa ritual in the sauna, it was a great show!
Really nice place! Only thing was they were out of robes that day
Cannot recommend highly enough. It was my second time today, I went with my parents and we stayed for almost 8 hours. Staff are super friendly, the pools and saunas and tubs are simply amazing. Their restaurants are a bit pricy but well worth visiting. The view is breathtaking. Do yourself a favor and visit!
What a wonderful time we stayed at the nordik lodge it was so relaxing! Beautiful place
Bad experience, the baths were not hot enough, it spoke and memecriait, very little relaxing, orange locker room for women not clean, lots of mouses and hair in the shower and on the floor, the tubs of towels overflowed, we have almost 3 hours drive and it was not worth it, especially not the price. If I could I would be reimbursed.
Expensive, but such a fantastic place !! Loved the massage and the salted pool!!
One of the best I've been to. Everything was meticulously clean and the setting was perfect. We spent the whole day here. It's especially nice after sunset. One thing I was slightly disappointed in was the fact that the Finnish Sauna wasn't operational. Being from Europe, this is my favourite type of sauna. Nevertheless, the experience was great and the staff were very helpful.
Wish they had a season pass so I could spend every day here
Beautiful place..my first time at a spa but it was cool. Hot tubs, barrel saunas cold pools. The Salt water float was cool as was the infinity pool/ hot tub. Would definetly recommend it but if going in thr winter bring a toque for the hot tub.
Too busy on weekends. Week nights are far better to go here
Had an absolutely amazing time here with my boyfriend. We just got the thermal experience (access to the baths, saunas and relaxing huts) and found it was well worth it. The different zones (distinguishing the volume levels) are so appreciated! And I also noticed that the staff monitoring the quiet zone seemed to be ok with actually controlling the noise, because a group were asked to quiet down or move elsewhere while we were there. Very appreciated :) The bartender at their beer garden was super friendly, also! And of course, the skyline view is a must-see! I was worried about parking because I saw a few reviews mentioning it, but we had no issues at all.
We cannot wait to be back!!
Beautiful spa with many amenities! Definitely check out the quiet areas.
Nice experience! It got a bit crowded later in the day but otherwise was quite enjoyable. Definitely bring along a book for your rest periods. The gnocchi dish was very tasty and my partner said the same for the haddock.
Let me start by saying the massage was fantastic! The professionalism of the staff was unbeatable and the environment screams RELAX. I'll be coming back here for sure. Beautiful, serene and worth every dollar spent. You won't be disappointed.
The facilities are great. Clean, abundant... So much to choose from in the way of spa's, baths, massages, relaxation rooms. And the staff is extremely friendly. However, it's the small things that didn't give this place a 4 star or more.
Two bathrobe rentals at $27 with tax, but they won't change it for you if yours gets wet. I mean, you spend a whole day here and you've already dropped hundreds, it's quite unacceptable that they will not accommodate a bathrobe change.
Also, the food is good and prices fair, but our server, though very nice, forgot our bread, then my 2nd drink.
Lastly, the Kalla pool is awesome and really something special to experience, however extremely over priced at $73 with tax for two.
Really friggin crowded. Granted it was summer during a busy vacation week, but after 11am if was uncomfortably crowded and people dont obey the signage. Animals I tell ya, animals. Aside from that it was a pleasant experience. Would be incredible with fewer people. I will try again during the winter
This is not something I enjoy. To me, paying near a hundred dollars for hot water and steam, is not something I wanna do ever again. Now I know, if the fam wanna pamper themselves again, I can stay home and enjoy myself more. If you enjoy this type of thing, bring your own robe, save a lil cash. The price was near a hundred dollars because I don't have a robe of my own and you gotta rent one of their's.
Beautiful place but way too crowded. Not worth it overall.
Well maintained but too busy even on weekdays! (Tuesday!!)
Not enough rest space.
Looking for a romantic day and want to enjoy scenic views while dipping in there multitude of spa's sauna's and pools this place is for you
Rejuvenating. Relaxation at its finest. Highly recommend the couples massage.
Beautiful place to relax. Best spa I've been to. Many nice saunas. Too bad most are closed because of covid.
Awesome day today, the salt water pool was amazing.
Best place for a full relaxing day filled with different activities.
Heaven on earth. Good to go with friends, great to go alone.
If you're looking for a relaxing, tranquil spa getaway...you're most definitely NOT going to find it here. "FRAT PARTY" is the best word to describe it. If you enjoy being crowded into hot tubs elbow to elbow with pimply-faced (and backed!) University students, and having anonymous people climb over you repeatedly while you're trying to rest on a hot stone bed, maybe it's for you after all. Watch out, especially at this time of year. Everybody and their dog, cat, iguana and goldfish is busy cashing in their Xmas gift certificates ALL AT ONCE, and the spa doesn't care if you find out the hard way and your day is ruined lining up over and over again, starting with the entrance and change rooms, as if you were at a theme park.
