Very nice and relaxing place but also very expensive. The massages are not worth the price anymore. Save yourself the expense and go see a dedicated massage therapist for the same price (or less!). If you want to skip the busy times avoid friday-monday or go after 5pm. They are open until 11pm but it really dies down in the evening.

I loved Le Nordik, but I can only give it 4 stars for now because I smelled like B.O. after I left one of the hot pools, the lavender and orange body scrubs were completely finished when we went to that station plus they smelled horrible, the lockers could use an extra hook to hang coats too.

Other than that, we had a fabulous time. We went on a Wednesday night so there was no line up, easy parking, with minimal people. The temperature outside was around -12C- to -17C, which was perfect! The essential oil sauna was my favourite station. It's a must try for anyone that visits Le Nordik. The hot stones were relaxing and we forgot water bottles so it was nice to have free tea and water around for us. The showers were clean, the soap smells nice and they have bags to put wet items in the change room.

Unique outdoor facility with multiple pools, ( hot and cold), steam room, saunas, restaurant. See website. Tends to be crowded on weekends. Lots of 20 somethings. Beautifully done. Challenging during very cold weather. Not cheap.

I was very disappointed. Too many people with cameras and it spoiled the whole relaxation experience. I phoned to ask about why this was allowed and all I received was a " we are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience " for the price you pay I would not return again.

Definitely worth a visit! Try to avoid going on weekends because it can be busy to the point of unpleasantness. It s best to go during the week, plus admission is a bit cheaper, same for evening entrance (check website to confirm before going). Staff is friendly, the food and cocktails are good at the restaurant and the options for baths and saunas is great. Last visit, my massage therapist never showed up but they were pretty good at owning up. The only thing that bothers me is that for their new salt pool (Kalla) they charge $40 extra, which is fine, however there is no one at the entrance of this pool and dishonest people have figured out how to go in without paying. Hopefully they ll have a better system in place soon!

I would not recommend Le Nordik for massages. I have been coming to Le Nordik for many years, however during my most recent visit for a massage the masseuse groped my breast during the massage. I informed the spa after the incident, however this masseuse continues to work at the spa.

I usually rave about this place to my friends... But I think that has been partly to blame for their success....Too much success. If Nordik isn't careful they will be seen as over crowded. The staff has a tough time keeping quiet zones quiet. Time to raise the prices... Unfortunately.

Also, it's weird that people are allowed to show up in their personal bath robes. Sure it saves a few bucks, but it tarnishes the brand experience in my opinion.... And some people's robes can be pretty gross.

I'm still addicted to this place despite its challenges...

Le Nordik's facilities are fantastic and have a potential of being a 5-star spa. However the ignorant clientele that go there to socialize and party ruin the atmosphere while staff does nothing to keep the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. The spa is always too overcrowded and noisy and I feel every time I go there, I feel I come home more stressed than relaxed.

It used to be like that only on the weekends only, but now, even mid-week the spa is overcrowded and noisy.

Seems that the owners only care about their bottom line and don't care about return customers as there will always be enough new suckers to fill the spa.

I won't be returning.

An amazing experience! Whether it's a girls date or a romantic getaway! A good choice of 3 eateries all set in cozy places. The amount of different pools, spasms and saunas are sure to please everyone for several hours!

It is a great place. Lots of things to do, clean, nice staff, great food. One thing I really not liked is the men's changing room with no private change rooms. Never been a sausage fest fan, sorry. Felt like I was in the army.

Unfortunately my wife and I just had our first bad experience from Nordik this past Saturday.

We arrived around 11am and were turned away because we didn t have reservations and was not accepting new guests until 4pm. This was the first weekend off from having our children in a year and we were really looking forward to the day of relaxation at the spa but due to lack of this very important reservation information on your landing page, we were unable to enjoy the experience.

We have enjoyed Nordik spa yearly and visited the website just Saturday morning to confirm hours of operation so when we arrived and were greeted with this new policy, we felt this information should have been one of the first things that should ve appeared on the website.

To add fuel to this frustration, there is no direct line in contacting customer service through the Nordik website.

Please review your current customer experience from all angles!!

Love the place but the lineup on the weekend is terrible. Up to 1-2+ hours wait starting outside. Last time we came they added us to a list to text us because of a 3hour wait. Today we waited 1h30 and were told they are not busy. The parking lot was more empty than usual as well. The reception is incredibly long, since they have to load up bracelets with money and keep letting others pass the line because they have massage bookings. It's also impossible to book a massage day of. I tried 2 weeks before and they were fully booked. Other than that, the food is good but expensive, the experience is worth the wait... But since they used to have another reception and they are not full, this begs the question of why they haven't fixed their reception problem yet.

Absolutely amazing evening with my wife. Great food and great experience. Definitely recommend for a couples night out! The drunken, loud and obnoxious girls birthday party was unfortunate but staff were extremely polite in managing them.

The spa is large, beautiful and full of pools, but poorly indicated it is easy to get lost, and check your receipts before leaving a lot of billing errors not only for us but for several clients.

Probably the best spa in the area. A little pricy but your benefits can cover a massage and then you can get a combo where you also get a bath experience. The salt water room is worth a try, very relaxing

It really is one of the best Spa Nordik and I have been there a few times. The first time I felt like a spa in Costa Rica for its nature. In the evening with these lights and decor then it's just magical.

Went for the first time a couple days ago and it was really nice. The value is excellent as there are so many different pools and saunas to use without paying extra. But, it is a very busy place ( I went on a Tuesday and there were a surprising amount of people ) and I can imagine on weekends it being packed. Overall, I had a lovely experience and felt very relaxed throughout the day. The spa itself was beautiful and everything looked well maintained. I would definitely go again.

The ultimate in relaxation! I went to celebrate a 40th Birthday. We arrived at 11am and didn t leave until 11:45pm! We had amazing massages. There are several saunas, steam rooms, heat/cold pools. Hammocks galore. Several dining spots. Whisper sections - silent sections. Nature soothing sounds play all throughout indoors & Out! Walk around in plush robes! Pictures and descriptions are not sufficient. Get your significant other or best friends and Go.

We had to queue for over an hour to just pay and enter the site. A shot inside the baths, sonas, hammocks, places of relaxation, etc. were always full. Annoying having to play the elbow in a place intended for relaxation. In addition, as the infrastructure was insufficient for tickets sold, people open the doors of saunas all the time and they are lukewarm. In short, a very ordinary experience that I do not recommend. Unfortunately, not too much alternative near Ottawa. The cleanliness of some baths seemed doubtful to me.

O where do I start! Made a trip here to relax with my girlfriends... It was amazing, we loved every bit of it and o the restaurant! The waiter was so helpful in recommending something for me to eat as I just got my braces tightened, she was very helpful and patient as I can be very indecisive... Will most definitely recommend! It's a must!

My 3 girlfriends and I had massages (deep tissue and Swedish)- we were all satisfied and impressed by the quality of the services. The Nordik is a beautiful spa, day or night. The smells, scenery, and different relaxation areas really take you out of the city and into a small universe of bliss.

Last Chrismas I've got a $90 gift certificate that expires tomorrow. I would have lived to go, but there is no local bus that goes there, neither a gray hund bus, and the taxi charges $160 to take you there although it is only 17 minutes ride. My friends with cars are away for Christmas, and tomorrow is the last day with no more time extension. .

We were given 2 for 1 vouchers for issues going on at the spa the day we went and were told they don't expire. We went back 6 months later and they told us they were expired. I asked where on the voucher does it have a date of expiration and she said it's in French. Which neither of us speak or read. Very disappointing as our visit last time was interrupted.

The place is amazing. Thought we would only spend 2 hours there and before we knew it 7 hours went by.

If you're looking for a little less people better to go later at night.

Only complaint was that they had rules that were not enforced. Silent areas were not silent and people had their phones out. It was a super busy day though so that may have contributed to it.

Fabulous time even (or especially) in minus 15 snowy weather. We hopped from tub to tub and into saunas and salt pools all while wandering in bathrobes, flip flops and toques!
The food and service were top notch.
I will return in all seasons to see their unique views in all of their splendor.

I've been several times over the last 10ish years and always had good experiences. Lately I find it's just too crowded, even on a weekday. The silent area isn't really silent either; doors are always opening and closing and people chatter everywhere it seems. The prices have gone way up over the years too. I remember the majority of patrons not requiring robes because the towels were sufficient, now you need a robe because all you get is a hand towel.

It just seems like rather than offer the experience it's now about how much money they can suck in. We likely won't be back, unfortunately, because the setting is really lovely and it should be a great experience.

Terrible experience all around. I wouldn't suggest going on a weekend or at all for that matter. It's supposed to be a relaxing experience but it's not. They care more about getting the money from your wallet than your actual relaxation experience. My boyfriend and I went together today (Saturday October 28 for his 30th birthday) we had booked massages a month ago and when we arrived there was a long line up. When I called to find out how we were supposed to get to our appointments on time the woman on the other end of the phone told me to tell the others who were waiting in line that we had an appointment(we were there 40 minutes early) and to pass them. Luckily people were kind and understanding and let us get ahead which lead us to another issue..the line up at the desk..we waited about 30 minutes to which noone cared that we had appointments to keep. When we finally got to the desk they had no robes left and we had to share a locker which was in the men's change room so my bf had to take and bring every thing I needed which was very inconvenient for me since the women's change room was in the next room over. We would have decided just to leave at this point but we still had our massage to look forward to. When we arrived I was greeted promptly by my therapist and had a great treatment meanwhile my bfs massage therapist was 20 mins late and then talked through the entire massage and then finished early so essentially we paid for an hour and only got 35 mins. Not worth it. When we decided to leave (we also bought a day pass to enjoy the spas which we didn't actually attempt to do) they told us no refunds for ANY reason and did not even attempt to compensate us in any way. We paid full price for robes and lockers and massages AND a day pass and while I will say I, myself had a great treatment I was heartbroken that my boyfriend spent his 30th birthday miserable. We will NOT be returning.

I'm very impressed of visiting Nordik Spa last night. We arrived at 3:30PM, went to reception to validate our tickets we bought half a year ago. There was not crowdy Thursday afternoon. Staff at reception gave us orange wrists (key of fitting room cubby and electronic system payment at once). All Nordik staff speaks English and French. You don't need a locker to bring with you. All what you need is: a robe (or you can rent it at reception for $12,5, not always available, we couldn't take it), slippers/sandals, swimsuit. Towels are always available on site.
There are so many hot pools and cold ones, so many different saunas and relaxation zones. There's every hour show in Finnish sauna. It worths to come. Our experience was amazing cause the temperature outside was around 0, and it was snowing all the time. Fantastic feeling to stay in hot water while snow fall. Highly recommend Nordik Spa to visit. Winter time is amazing to come.
