We really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, the food was great, and the staff were courteous. The only negative was valet. It was $100 for 2 nights and the service was horrible. Took 30 minutes to get our vehicle. There was no efficient flow to getting the vehicles in and out.

The room was very nice as far as Le Meridiens go. The location is phenomenal!!! Right in the middle of the French Quarter. You can access by car quickly without going through the more narrow streets, but you can also walk everywhere without need for a car.

We stayed here. It was quite nice. Across the street from a Cascio, which pleased my wife. Also accommodated our cat, which pleased him. For me, I'm easy. It's all good. Service was quite good and price was well within reason.

I've been really really STRESSED and traveling with a wonderful Vietnam Veteran who has decling health. We are use to traveling because I WAS a travel nurse until his health changed a year ago. We are from New Orleans and have lived in our chosen city Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1994. We usually come back to New Orleans 3 times a year (EXTENDED Stay) especially Christmas/New Year's, HIS Birthday July 17 th, and possibly another time of the year (Mardi Gras or when the Saints are really having a great season to celebrate with family and friends. We missed Christmas/New Years pass because my spouse was in the hospital from 12/5 to 01/04. The end of the year up to and including currently have been tuff but we are a team dispite his Dialysis Treatment 3 times a week and other issues...we.made it this time. While I had time to check him into Dialysis Clinic then check into Le Meriden I met an AWESOME person who checked me in by the name of Niya. She don't know how much this 66 year old caregiver needed some "girl time" and she provided just that during check in and after an interesting time stuck in Dallas, TX the night before for over 14 hours due to a rain storm (not a snow storm) going from delay to delay, gate to gate and back to original gate spending over $150 dollars in tips for Sky Cap wheelchair transportations (they were great). Okay showered quickly and back to pickup Hubby from Dialysis in New Orleans West busy traffic...but worth it being back HOME

Good service from staff. Rooms nice. Please update website and remove LMNO restaurant. We made advanced dinner plans for LMNO based on your site. It s disappointing and inconvenient to plan in advance for dinner, then to come in one evening after a long day in city to find out it s closed down. Thumbs down for that! UPDATE YOUR SITE!

I spent a birthday weekend at the amazing Le Meridien New Orleans. I believe I had stayed here once before when it was a W hotel and the change and renovation to the Le Meridien is a vast improvement. Due to the flights in I had scheduled, I didn't get a chance to spend too much time in the hotel, but I loved every minute of the time that I did. The staff was accommodating and friendly, always pointing me in the right direction of where to go when needing assistance. Kudos to two gentlemen at the front desk (I think Jared and Mark?). The hotel lobby had a lively atmosphere, but not overwhelming with drunk people so it was a nice oasis from all the craziness in the French Quarter. Le Meridien is only a short walk away from the French Quarter, so I enjoyed a nice stroll for a few blocks when coming and going to the hotel. My room was clean and the maid service was timely. I will definitely be back to this hotel and look forward to my next trip to New Orleans.

Put me in a room that was already occupied. Paint was pealing off the door to my room. No fridge or microwave in room but a fully stocked mini bar, if that's your thing. Room was not cleaned at all one day. Breakfast was not included in room price.

Room was nice, staff was friendly, but accounting made too many mistakes. From the start no one was on the same page about room price, and they charged me months after without calling first. Not professional and very frustrating. Go somewhere else.

I've been a loyal SPG Plat. member for years, and W is my favorite brand, however, this hotel should be stripped of the "W" title and re-branded as a Motel 6. Rude staff, construction constantly, no mini bar as advertised, yet they still have the wine glasses on the wall. We walked in, requested a refund and moved to the Westin Canal Place. If you are looking for that W experience - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staff was ok, not amazing. But room was great. 18th floor view of the city. Parking starts at $45 which is pretty standard. Great room rates available on Priceline. Close to French Quarter/Bourbon Street and Warehouse district without being in the center of everything.

AC wasn't working too well in the heat, and the pool has no cooler. They should make up their mind. Rooms were clean and average size. Beds were comfy. Good place to stay if visiting the French quarter as it is fairly close and a pretty safe walk down the main road.

Hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to a lot of things. Front desk staff and concierge are very friendly and helpful, but the rest of the staff needs some improvement. Service for food and drinks were slow. Even management is unhelpful. One manager had to "figure out" how to ring me up on the register for the food I ordered when the one person they had assigned to the bar couldn't be found. Rooms are nice on the surface but the bathrooms smell, linens are dirty, bathroom amenities are inconsistent, and my bathroom had bugs. The food here sucks! They also have so many vouchers for different things like breakfast, coffee, and drinks. However, they don't inform you of all the vouchers when you check in and most of the staff don't even know how to apply them.

I never brag about status but this is ridiculous. As a titanium elite that spends 20 grand a month at Marriotts. I booked this trip 4 months ago. This is the smallest most horrible room I have ever stayed in. You can barely move. I could have stayed at the moxie but I chose here due to being offered an upgrade months ago via the phone. I work very hard for these points, I didn t get the upgrade probably because I used my points instead of paying. I will be looking for a new place to finish my stay.

The restaurant Zoe serves drunk frozen food. Food you only eat when drunk and don't care how it tastes. The room was o.k at best, nice mattress , nice towels and toiletries. The toilet would only flush completely if you stood there holding down the handle 'til it finished. Then it took three tries at that. This was after we made housekeeping aware and it was serviced. Needs to be updated all over. Won't be back.

Car drop off area is terribly small. I realized as soon as I dropped it off that I wasn t going to come back and get it until we left.
The lobby is really nice. Hip and trendy. Looks just like the pictures and doesn t disappoint.
The elevators suck. I don t know if it s the keys or the elevators, but you have to use your key to get to the guest rooms. Great in theory, but something doesn t work right and you have to sit there and try it multiple times before it works. More than once people in the elevator with us couldn t get it to work, so I know it wasn t just me.
Room entry is really weird. You have to open the door way more than 90degrees because there is a wall directly inside the door and you have to shimmy around the door. To enter the room.
Other than that, the room is nice. We had 2 beds and a sofa.
Hotel is in good walking distance from the French quarter and is quiet.
Check out is where this hotel went to hell.
Sunday morning, call down for the car and they say 10 mins. Wait 10mins and head down, then proceed to wait over an hour for my car. No explanation.
Ask the lady at the valet counter and she says it s on the way.
We wait.
When I ask her about it again after another wait, she wants to know my ticket number.
When I explain that we ve been waiting over an hour, and that they said it was 10 mins, and that she had just promised it was on the way, she tells me she didn t tell me 10 mins, she had just gotten here .
I went inside to talk to a manager. The front desk help doesn t want you to talk to a manager. They do everything they can to avoid that. I m sorry, but that s a third party that parks our cars . He has no control over it.
Meanwhile they bring a guys car down and double park it in the street, lock it, and then lose his keys. He s super nice about it at first, but then gets irate when the same lady somehow twists it to be his fault.
Another lady gave three tickets to her when we first got there, and they bring two of her cars down and then she proceeds to wait the hour and a half with us. It s on the way is what they tell her when she inquired.
Then the valet finally brings our car and runs off with the key. Another 10 min wait.
Le Meridien. I don t care if you don t run the parking. It s in YOUR hotel. You own the joint and need to ultimately own what happens under your roof. There were a lot of unhappy people there.
Checkout needs to be the smoothest part of the stay. It s my last experience with your hotel, and if it goes wrong, will negate an otherwise great stay and experience. Checkout is a throw away experience. It should be completely forgettable. Unfortunately, it s all I will remember and was 100% negative.
I ll try your hotels again, but never this one.
Drop the attitude and own it.

The property itself is very nice. The staff is *BANG!!* very nice. The king room we were assigned (Room 1116) was very *BANG!* nice and newly decorated with a great bathroom and fixtures. The A/C worked very well and chilled the room down well howev*BANG!*er every 15 minutes or so it *BANGED!* ...startlingly loud...as I described it to the front desk, "like someone throwing a tennis shoe against a washing machine!' or a damper door in the duct work slamming shut. And you could hear it happpening in the ductwork on other floors in slightly muffled bangs at other times when ours wasn't banging. We weren't in the room much the first night, but the desk told us there were no other rooms available so we managed to sleep through it. Luckily my wife had brought two sets of ear plugs and Lunesta but the banging still woke us through the night. The next day I called the desk again and they asked if I wanted Engineering to come up? I did. The guy knew exactly what I was talking about and said it "is a PSI problem I will have to go up a floor to fix" and left. 15 minutes later...*BANG!* ... It NEVER stopped! Approximately every 15 minutes! We were there for 3 nights. On the third night I was jarred awake by it at 3:45 AM. I called the front desk again and complained. I had also spoken with 3 other hotel occupants on different floors who were having the same issue. This was quite obviously not a new issue that the hotel management did not know about! At check out the next morning the Manager informed me that they would comp my parking fee ($47 a day!) but since I had booked the room through a 3rd party (Living Social) there was nothing they could do about any refund on the room. I asked if they would also offer some SPG guest points as well since I am a member but was told emphatically NO! Either the parking or the points. Of course I agreed to the parking fee as my choice was that or nothing, but I am highly upset by the bait and switch type tactics of Le Meridien's management. They have a problem they possibly cannot fix, so they put this block of room's up on Living Social so they then have no liablilty about these sorry accomodations, and hide behind their "you bought it from a third party" excuse. $350 for 3 nights of banging hell! If you are going to rent a room with a problem, even at a discount, you should give the guest the option and courtesy of at least informing them of the problem prior to booking! This is a total scam on Le Meridians part to fill these defective rooms! I'll never stay at another Le Meridien property. Also, DO NOT purchase their wifi! Connections were extremely slow if you connected at all, and we had selected the top tier connection.

As usual for a W Hotel, I enjoyed my stay at this New Orleans location. Staff was very friendly, room comfortable, and the meeting spaces were nice and fun. If I had one complaint it would be that music from the bar areas could be a bit loud and bleed into other common areas.

Great location. Contemporary decor. Very friendly staff - Hayward - our bellman shared a wealth of information - he is awesome. Nice amenities - mini fridge in room as well as mini bar, no microwave, small rooftop pool, fitness center, bar. Rooms are a little small but I would definitely stay there again.

This is a very lovely hotel, the staff is pleasant and very helpful. The room is a nice size, We have a sofa in the room, a large screen tv... nice amenities....The only reason I gave a 3 star is because for the price of the rooms, you should at least get Continental breakfast for free!!..They offer Continental for $17 and Full breakfast for $21....just ridiculous!
