They did everything very well. Great area and location, across from casino, slightly east of the Riverwalk Mall, just west of the Hilton, Aquarium and the quarter. Inexpensive upgrade to a 500 sq. Ft. suite with both river and city views. Great beds.. awesome sleep. Would gladly go back.

The Le Meridien was a phenomenal hotel! The best customer service I've ever received in my life! ALL hotels should send their staff to the Le Meridien for customer service training! My wonderful experience began with the energetic and sociable valet and just got better and better! The Bellman, Lawrence I can only say WOW what phenomenal customer service! Tyler at check was so helpful, commentating and quick. Keyon the bartender makes THE BEST Bloody Mary's and he is incredibly handsome (sorry ladies he is happily married). The lovely waitresses upstairs in the restaurant thank you all! It's very evident that this hotel cares and values their guest and business.

Not a bad example of a Le Mer, however, asking the bar man for a whiskey and then being poured and charged for a double was a bit of a sneaky trick. Lack of umbrellas on a rainy NO day was a bit of a bummer also.

I really can't say anything positive except that the location is primo. It might be the most conveniently located hotel if you're in the area for business. Otherwise, it's incredibly expensive ($6 for water from the bar), the a/c is non existant, and the rooms aren't sound proof so you can hear people in the halls and in other rooms. Disappointed here.

Is this really a W hotel? very bad experience with it. It totally needs a full renovation and I'm not talking only about coat of paint. Redo everything! carpets are filthy, smells like mold, you can hear everything from the rooms next to you. The only cool part is the lobby and common areas, good for drinks. But don't stay overnight, W Hotels should either renovate the property or sell it.

Nothing but problems in all 3 rooms we rented. Further, hotel ran out of pillows and shortages on towels. On 2 of the nights we didn t have enough clean towels for each in the room. Safe didn t work in one room as well. Management s response was to give me 10,000 points to apologize. Lifetime Platinum Elite at Marriott clearly means nothing. Do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel normally runs $99 per night and when the essence festival come in town they have the nerve to put their prices up to $4500 per night it should be a law against this New Orleans have made enough money on the people and then have the nerve to want you to prepay and it Vance and if something happens and you lost all of your money and you can make the trip it should be a law against this

Great location! Stayed a week during Madri Gras right across the street from the casino! The room was just Ok! Small it took the hoy water forever to get hot the sink leaked and the maid didn't change the sheets and I was sitting right there watching..i give this place 3 stars bc the food was good the service was great and the location. The hotel is not recommendable from our side and does not deserve 4 stars. The front desk is absolutely rude and valet parking is overpriced at over $ 50 per day. The rooms are shabby. Carpet dirty and the sheets partly. holey. Room service doesn't clean well. In the drawers you can find garbage from guests beforehand and nothing is wiped. The pool is an absolute joke in Live and the upholstery of the loungers is just dirty. No-go.

Our group got screwed on pricing. We reserved for 3 nights, OCT 24-27, at a high rate, then, before we arrived, I saw on website FOR THOSE SAME NIGHTS / SAME ROOM TYPE $131/night and requested that advertised rate...final bill? $912.36 for 3 lousy nights in a dated (i.e., old) room! Never again.

This hotel has been renovated. Years ago it was something else but the upgrades are beautiful. The staff was very attentive and the checkin process was extremely easy. It's in close proximity to great dining and tourist attraction yet far enough from Bourbon street that you can relax without hearing all of the noise. The only downfall is the pool area is very small.

Huge improvement from the previous W Hotel that was here before. Trendy, European chic lobby and nicely sized rooms. The staff are remarkably helpful and service-oriented for a 4-Star hotel. LMNO restaurant is a disaster and simply must go, but otherwise, this is a solid business or leisure SPG hotel.

The rooms are comfortable and have all the expected amenities, the location is good just a few blocks from the French Quarter, the food and service are great. The only complaint is the fact that I could hear every sound from the adjacent rooms, from phone conversations to bathroom stops!

The ppl who worked here were so nice and helpful but I wouldn't stay here again. They held double what they said on my card. The room was ADA compliant small, dark, no counter space. Switched rooms and that room had dirty towels on the rack and had a horrible sewage smell, luckily we were hardly in the room. We requested and was granted a late checkout but on checkout date there was no record of that.

It was my first time in New Orleans (trip was back in April) after dreaming about making my way down so long.

The hotel is within a walking distance to the French Quarter, which is fantastic. Had a great time with fun and professional staff at Le Meridien and awesome recommendations from the concierge both for food and other random things I needed last minute as my schedule changed (preferred to rely on personal recommendations versus wasting time on the internet).

My SPG level and rate included 3 free tickets to museum around the area and also free bike rental with a promotion for "stay 3 nights and get one night free" deal, so this was a real treat for the time I stayed (4 nights total).

Will definitely return in the future.

Stayed here December 2019, was a really nice clean room. Facilities were modern and worked well, spacious, housekeeping did a great job. Neighbours and room quiet. View was OK. My only complaint is that there was no fridge or microwave in the room--stayed here for 5 days and had to get takeout for every meal because of this. I understand that it's a fancy hotel but must that mean that guests have nowhere to store their own food?

Great location near everything. Room is a little cramped at the door. Disappointed that this is the first spg property we've stayed at that didn't give us bottles of water. Continental breakfast is nothing to get excited about, but Mother's next door had incredible breakfast. Bed is comfy, and the bench/couch is too.

They still charged us for using the mini bar but we didn't even touched it. The front desk was just lying to us. If I could, I would give this place zero star.

Spend $20 more a night somewhere else would definitely be a better idea than staying here.The first thing we noticed after we got into the King-size bedroom was that the room is small, and it only has a shower, no bath tub. Second thing was that there was dust on all the furniture and the self in the bathroom. Third, their so-called "Free Wifi" only works in the lobby area, they made it very difficult to get wifi in the rooms so you would more likely to pay for internet.

The worst was that by the time we were getting ready to sleep, we found the bed sheet was dirty with makeup stain and black hand print on it. We called and asked for new sheet, and the hotel just sent a guy up to give us new sheets and then he just left, we had to change the sheet ourselves. When we checked out, we were charged for two items from the mini bar, which we never touched or had at all, fortunately the front desk receptionist trusted us and said she would cancel those charges. After checking out we were just speechless, since this is not the kind of experience anyone would like to have when you stay in a hotel. Changing the dirty sheet yourself and got charged with something that you didn't have? It wouldn't even happen in motels.

Apparently this hotel has some kind of management problem that they let customers use a uncleaned room and made very little effort to solve the problem. In a city like New Orleans that depends on tourism so much, this experience in this hotel was a huge disappointment for us. I don't know if we are ever gonna come back the this city, but for those who plan to visit New Orleans, there are plenty other hotels in the same area that can offer better service for the same price.

Their valet service ruined our vehicle because they said they knew how run a stick shift car....THEY DID NOT and RUINED our clutch on ours. They refused to pay or help on the replacement. Just awful!

Well placed hotel close to many of the places you may want to visit. It is walking distance to the French Quarter, Superdome, convention centre and the casino to name a few. The rooms are adequate but my major issue is the poor lighting so you are forced to dress and make up in the bathroom. There's a great bar which serves food and the restaurant serves great breakfast but I'm not sure if it serves lunches and/or dinners. There's a cute little pool and area to sunbathe and chill. I would stay again.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They will make sure you have a good stay. The building itself is nothing special. Old elevators with a frustrating key card system, noisy traffic (street and river), and little things like leaky faucets, hard beds, no top sheet, etc. I would stay here again, but I might consider other options first.

Keiara did a great job of making me feel welcome on check-in, the room was nice and comfortable, and all the amenities were great. Would have liked the option for a lighter sheet on the bed instead of just the heavy blanket, but not enough to actually go ask for one. :)

People were nice. The lobby and bar were nice. The parking team was nice but understaffed and slow. Had to wait at the front desk for twelve minutes to check in..., and I was the only guest there. A nice lady finally walked out of the back after I called Marriott and asked for the front desk. She was nice enough to explain everyone was at lunch but her and she was not told they had all left. The room was stained. The carpet was old and matted down with stains. The corners of the room and bathroom were dirty. The outside of the glass was in so much need of a window wash crew it had turned green and moldy. Way too many nicer hotels in NOLA to go nack to this one
