First time here was today and have to say I was very impressed with the food. Everything was wonderful, hot, and fresh. No complaints, just our server was very forgetful but it happens!

The hostess didn't open with hi or welcome it was "how many?" Our server had an apparent hearing problem as he didn't hear me order a beer and didn't listen when we ordered three sauces with chicken strips and the chicken was over cooked. Colton shouldn't be waiting tables with no eye contact at all.

Nice place to enjoy a dinner with family, friends, or coworkers. The atmosphere is perfect. The wait staff is fully trained and have excellent knowledge of the menu. I've enjoyed most on the menu but what sticks out the most to me is the stuffed chicken breast.
The full bar is also a nice place to enjoy a drink or two if you are waiting.

My mother made a reservation for her and a friend on Thanksgiving day. She specifically reserved a table because of her knees can not get out of a booth. We she arrived the reservation showed that she had reserved a table but was told that only booths were available because the tables were being used for large parties. At roughly 2 pm there were many empty tables waiting for customers. When they were to arrive I do not know. There seemed to be no concern about my mom who followed the protocol for reserving a table. She was forced to go somewhere else were she endured a 1 hour 40 minute wait for a Thanksgiving dinner. Shame on you for putting a 87 year old woman through this mess.

Wonderful happy hour. The appetizers are the best. The waiters are really good.

Horrible customer service when getting my order to go. No warm greeting just what seemed like I came in during maybe a stressful day and I could see it all over there faces. Made it feel like It was inconvenient to them for me to pick up my order at the time I did. Let s learn some customer service Houlihans even at the stressful times. If it wasn t stressful well then that s a whole other issue!

Really not worth the money we spent. Food was ok. Server was nice. But too pricey for us for what you got in presentation, quality, and taste.

Our server's lack of experience showed there was no one keeping an eye on him. He forgot one of our appetizers. We waited 7 minutes for our refill on our drinks

There menu needs work my fish tacos tasted good but was not enough for $$ I had to go get me a real meal after I left

Steak was significantly better than previous visits.

Called this past Sunday and spoke with Liz, she was short and very dismissive. Stayed on hold for over 15 MINUTES just to place an order to go. Ended up driving to the Houlihans in Leawood instead. Will be going to that one from now on or, to their North Kansas City location!

Food was great. Our server was Evan and he was great!

Service was good, waitstaff left a table dirty behind us for an hour. Not cool.

Good food, service, professional well trained staff and right off 350 and Chipman. Upbeat environment. Exceeded my expectations. I have been there too many times to count. Consistent over time. Easy choice. Winner.

Food was disappointing... had the stuffed chicken.. it was mass produced, frozen, and reheated... couldn't find the cream cheese that it was supposedly stuffed with. Even as small as the portion size was... not worth the $$$

I love this place. Fast, accurate and on point wait staff! I love the atmosphere day or night.

The cheeseburger special for $5.00 was a bargain, the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the drinks were pretty weak. The service was very good though.

We were seated very quickly, however it took a VERY long time for our food to arrive and when it did it came out in pieces. There were five guests in our party and we all had to eat at different times. We ordered some food to go and they forgot half of the order. They did take off the charges for the forgotten portion. Our server was vsry friendly and apologetic. The food was bland. The burgers had absolutely no flavor. We had to request seasoning salt to add to the burgers and akso had to put ranch and extra cheese on the burgers for them to taste like anything. I probably won't return to this location.

First time there. Service and food were both excellent.

We had French Onion soup--I got a piece of plastic in mine. They didn't charge for ot.

Really loved this place! Our server was kind and attentive. It's well lit (I hate dark loud restaurants) and music is light. I had the house salad which was very refreshing and for the main course a korean dish which was delicious. For dessert I shared the caramel butter cake with vanilla ice cream. It was FANTASTIC!!! Also had the lemonade it was really good (sometimes places over sweeten it).

We normally sit in the bar area when we come. They have multiple drink specials and a beautiful outdoor patio.

Wasn't anywhere near what it used to won't be returning

First time we visited was during restaurant week. we have been back several times since. A bit on the pricey side but the food is always amazing. Service is top notch every time we visit. Highly recommend

The new manager, Ronnie, is terrible! We had an issue at our table with the check not being correct (we were double charged). When Ronnie finally finished socializing, he came over to our table. My wife began explaining the issue and was cut off several times by him. He kept stating that our server already explained the situation and he (our server) had just left for the night. My wife attempted to explain again and Ronnie appeared to be listening and he even said he understood; however, after my wife finished explaining, he turns to someone else at our table who s a regular (multiple times a week vs our once or twice a month, and we had separate checks), and starts rudely explaining to her. My wife and I attempted to get his attention and asked why he was explaining to someone else the issue we had, which we got ignored (keep in mind, we d already paid and was not asking for any refund, and was simply explaining the issue so hopefully future customers didn t have to deal with it). We left and vowed never to return. Previously we d experienced issues with our food being incorrect and Ronnie just not getting it and showing his inability to be a good manager, but that Houlihans location had been our hangout well before Ronnie came along. The best example is my wife s KC Strip not being done correctly. We had to sent back multiple times, then Ronnie tried to give her a sirloin, as if she wouldn t know the difference. I m not sure what happened with the manager before who was awesome (Kelly), but my guess is they need to replace Ronnie with a competent manager very soon!

I placed a order with Uber eats and made a mistake and was unable to correct it without canceling the order and starting over. If I cancelled I was going to be billed 41.00 dollars I called the restaurant and was hung up on then I called back to be placed on a 7 minute hold before I gave up. Poor customer service at this location. Management needs to train staff better.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE THE PEOPLE WORKS THERE REALLY RUDE AND THE BARTENDER WAS CLEANING TRASH AND SERVING DRINKS AND FOOD AND NOT CLEANING HIS HANDS THE GUYS COOK FOOD WAS PICKED UP SOME FOOD DROPPED ON THE FLOOR AND PUT IT BACK TO THE PLATE .... DONT EAT ON THIS PLACE YOU CAN GET REALLY SICK

Great food and drinks. Knowledgeable staff and very accommodating.

We arrived and promptly seated. It was Sunday and it's all day happy hour which was awesome except, we were seating in the wrong section. The manager did allow my wife to get the appetizers at happy hour prices but not the alcohol. Four stars if we had inquired if there is designated seating for happy hour.

Horrible service I don t know if there were under staffed came in with my son for happy hour didn t get a seat waited for one to open in the bar area just to be told this section is not seat your self after I ve been waiting for 15mins horrible they need a better staff

Houlihan's is HQed in Kansas City so they are all pretty good around here. It's like if Applebees had good food, good service and nice decor. Everything is cooked fresh and the kitchen is wide open so you can see whats up.

Awesome lunch specials on food and drinks from 11am-2pm Mon-Fri.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about a year not as often as we might like but the food is always good and if I'm unsatisfied in any way they would make my 2nd choice and give me the meal I did not enjoy in a box. Love the seasonal items and the view into the kitchen

Was packed on Friday at 5pm. Good service and had their impossible burger. Was really good. Sweet potato fries are highly recommended

After ordering waited over 30 minutes for food and several people at our table were told that they were out of the item they had ordered. The server handled it well, but the manager seemed irritated about our complaints.

I wish the lunch menu had more options but the food is always good!

It's ok. Staff are nice the food is ok. They have a small menu and a little to pricey for the quality of the food.

Food was good, service was Sub par, but waitress was new ( in her defense) I just felt like management should have still had someone with her. Of the party of 4 that we had, one person didn't get her meal until she went up to the manager to ask where it was (15min after 3 of us received our meal). Had to ask for refills, and the checks were all wrong. Also don't think they are sanitizing as they should because places were super dusty. Not like I've ever seen this restaurant.

When it's good, it's really good. However, it's not always good. The hosts are always very young and not always personable. We recently went on a Tuesday with our 6 month old daughter. We asked to be sat away from the bar as it was a little more quiet. The host informed us that it would be 5 minutes before she could seat us in those empty booths on the far side of the restaurant because she had just sat the server in that section, so she put us closer to the bar instead. Exactly where we did not want to be, because it was convenient for her. Or server was good, her name escapes me. The servers are usually very good here. When issues arise it's with the kitchen running out of menu items. Which it's probably a good sign for the restaurant, but not so good for those wanting to order those items. Business must be good. On one occasion, the drink I ordered couldn't be made because they were out of olives, they were out of the appetizer we wanted, and the special entree was out as well. This is the frustrating part about this place. There are some menu items that are just duds, but that's just personal taste and you will run into that anywhere. And these guys are constantly evolving the menu, which is nice. I would just temper your expectations when dining at Houlihans. It's not great, but you can do a lot worse.

The waiter was quiet and seldom made to our table of 16 people. Some of the food was very over baked and barely edible. Overall it may of just been a less than expected outcome for Houlihans on this day. Maybe I'll give them another chance in a year or so.

This place is close and I can most always get a good meal. They have daily meal specials. If you subscribe to their email you can get extra deals and perks. For me, the perks are a wash, because I get hammered on the drink prices. Even though they have happy hour specials and offer other drink specials, overall, like everyone else, I think their drink prices are too high. With that being said, if you are looking for a place to get a decent meal at a reasonable price, I think you'll be fine with this choice.

Pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere stimulating, staff professional & food was superb.
